Beautiful scenery, excellent tour guide and captain. Really enjoyed the tour, would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed the 2 hours boat cruise off the coast of twillingate. Friendly staff . We did not see any whales or icebergs but nobody can guarantee sightings of either. Love the town of Twillingate . Beautiful and picturesque. I've travelled much of NL and I honestly love the feel and look of this beautiful little NL gem .

One of the best places to see icebergs. Capt and guide are very knowledgeable and take their time to allow the passengersto see each iceberg from every angle. Definitely worth taking in if you are in the area. Best to come before the middle of July for the most bergs.

Kim the tour guide made the trip awesome with her informative, funny and loveable character. She collected some icebergs prior to the boat tour and allowed us to taste it! Also informed us things to do and buy around Twillingate. The boat had an open top deck which made viewing icebergs 360 degrees really unique. We went near end of June and they said they had a late start to summer.

Funny guy

WOW! Retirement plan was to move to each province to explore Canada starting with Newfoundland. Finally Covid-19 restrictions are allowing us to venture out to explore, our 1st stop Twillingate. We highly recommend booking a tour with Twillingate Adventure Tours, we had a great time, saw whales and fantastic shorelines. Started with pre-boarding by friendly ever so helpful staff Arlene, Jeff and Jeff. Chris, owner/operated was equally great and friendly. And their new boat was great to ride in especially for seniors (63 & 66). Our 1st sea boat ride, loved the motion of the waves, again the new boat rode the waves like being on an amusement ride. We'll definitely be back with family and friends once people start traveling again.

Victoria and I love an adventure, especially on a sunday when we can get the old MG out for a spin, usually into the Cotswolds for a roast. Twillingate Adventure Tours wasn't quite what we expected! Lets just say I get excited when I spot a Bird of Prey, such as a Red Kite or a Peregrin Falcon. Twillingate Adventure tours was a little too exciting for me. Victoria my wife thought the tour guide was very charming and they would often go and play scrabble together alone in his tent most evenings, whilst I got stuck into a good book. She must have won every night because she was so so happy when she returned.

Very friendly tour guides. We had a nice view of the twilingate shoreline, sea birds

Cancelled to windy

I went on a trip with Twillingate Adventure Tours. Price was very reasonable for two and a half hours. Tour guide was entertaining and interesting. I saw numerous whales and could observe the beautiful coastal landscapes. This kind of tour is the best way to discover the beauty of Twillingate and its surroundings.

An excellent iceberg tour. The first day we went out with the boat we were turned around by a bad storm before we could view any icebergs. The staff offered a full refund but we opted to come back the next day with better weather. The second day was a success about a 40 minute ride to the iceberg which was a great experience. The crew made sure everyone got great photos. The guide and captain were friendly and told us many interesting facts about icebergs and the town of Twilingate. The boat seats about 30 people and is an open top. It was comfortable and winter pants and coats are provided, which is good because it's cold out on the ocean, even in July. A great tour certainly the best way to see an iceberg, which is an experience you don't want to miss

We got screetched in here!!! I found it hard to nail down an official screeching in and here they'll do it on the boat if you call ahead.

You must choose this particular tour. It is the only one with a 600 hp speedboat that takes you all over the place. Way better chances of seeing something spectacular if you can traverse farther along the coast in the same time! The three guys running the tour were all awesome! So many times you get on a boat or show up at an activity and remember the feeling of being a kid on the school bus. You are either getting yelled at or else you feel like the people in charge sort of hate you. But not at all the case at Adventure Tours. Don't get me wrong, they take safety seriously, and obviously do the proper demonstrations, but they are upbeat and seem glad to have you as their customers aboard their super powerful new boat. As another example of being welcoming to customers: when my wife was worried about being late to the boat, the lady at the cash register laughed and said, "Dont worry! They aren't going to leave without you!" with a big smile. They seem genuinely to love what they're doing and were taking pictures of the group. One of the guys was from one of the bays along the coast and was telling us stories of growing up boating amongst the whales with his grandfather. And finally....the coast and the icebergs! You wont always see as great of icebergs as we got to see this week, but it is a beautiful coast and quite often you'll get lucky and see some big blue icebergs up close and personal.

Fast boat meant we got to see iceberg beyond Black Isle in 2hr roundtrip

screeched in and saw whales and stunning large icebergs...tour was entertaining and informative!

Good food in Annie's and good boat crew, very helpful and knowledgeable

Great tour and a great guide

Had a great time. The guides were a lot of fun. And we did get to see a couple of whales. Shorline during the tour was spectacular

Beautiful and scenic place. Definitely go visit, not much to do in Twillingate besides the scenery

Had a great experience, seen great coastal landscapes, oh ya and two Humpback Whales. Awesome!

I DO NOT recommend Twillingate Adventure Tours. My family and I were visiting from Toronto and booked a 1pm tour with this company. We travelled 3+ hours only to be called and told the 1pm tour was cancelled because the “town ran out of fuel”. The woman we spoke with was very cavalier and didn’t offer any satisfactory provisions or solutions. Disappointed, we reached out to other tour providers in Twillingate, all of which promptly clarified that the town did not run out of fuel. I subsequently followed up with the owner, Chris, and he was very unprofessional. Overall, we had a fantastic time with another company and dined at their restaurant afterwards. If you are visiting from out of town, I DO NOT recommend booking with Twillingate Adventure Tours for risk management purposes. Don’t take any chances with this company cancelling your tickets only to leave you scrambling for other options. Give yourself peace of mind and book elsewhere. There are many other wonderful companies in Twillingate and we are glad to have taken our business elsewhere. Again, I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Super comfortsble boat, very nice guides. Big iceberg, lots of photo-time. And we saw a bald american Eagle

Harbor cruise sold as iceberg and whale watching

It a wonderful experience to be able to see all the beauty of Twillingate especially for people away from home

Lovely tour

We went for an iceberg tour last June and really enjoyed seeing several icebergs up close. We will be back this August and I hope to go for a whale watching tour then.

Great staff. Very knowledgeable about local history. Good value. Boat captain's mother sews great quilts.

They were very friendly explain everything and the tour was unbelievable .I.ll be back next year

Loved it fast friendly service, food was delicious

We went out with Adventure Tours on Thu Jun 27 after a disappointing tour the day before with a competitor... Talk about an awesome change of events. Got up close and personal with a spectacular iceberg! Excellent first mate and skipper on board. First mate gave a lot of area info as well as some personal anecdotes... Very interesting and entertaining... A very professional and friendly company with excellent staff. They really have no competition....

We were ecstatic to get on a tour at the last minute to see icebergs! The captain and mate were fun and informative.

I highly recommend Twillingate Adventure Tours. Not only is the boat outstanding (smooth, fast, comfortable), the staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a very disappointing trip with a competitor and with a company like Adventure Tours around, I hope competitors take notes and step up. If we had been in twillingate longer, we would have taken this exact tour again. Great experience! And, eat at their restaurant Annie’s while you’re there! Wonderful food, friendly service, and a harbour view. Doesn’t get much better than a company like Twillingate Adventure Tours!

Great food lovely deck overlooking the harbor. Food was awesome

(Translated) “Unfortunately only 1 whale seen” We booked this tour to see whales. It was already too late for icebergs in August. But unfortunately we only saw 1 whale quite far away. We also found the tour to be quite expensive, especially when compared to other tours that we booked later on our trip. The boat was very big and therefore well suited for our little son.

Loved it, totally worth it even if no whales or icebergs
