5/5 came here in July 2017 and Kayaking around the rocks during high tide was the highlight of this whole trip. The cost to kayak is $69CAD for two hours and all the equipment is included in the price. You kayak for two hours with a guide and the guide is truly amazing and patient since you can be a beginner kayak to join! The guide takes you around the caves and rocks and tells about the history of Fundy bay. I wish we stayed longer and cant wait to come back and do this activity with this amazing company!

Nima Hassani

It was an amazing experience. Staff are super friendly and well experienced

Sandeep Kumar

Great place to bring your family on an adventure... Would recommend coming to both low tides and high tides. The staff there was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Worth the price and don't forget to take lots of pictures! Can't wait to come back and enjoy it some more.

Angelo M S

Highlight of our trip. The best way to see the rocks but also the highest tides in the world. My gf reconnected with her high school teacher which was one of the guides

Joanie T

Kayak the rocks was a great experience. It was totally worth the 2 hours we had on the water and great to experience the receding tide (one moment you have no idea where the bottom is, next moment your paddle can touch the bottom easily). …

Melanie Mealey

Incredible experience! The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The high tide tour was a beautiful way to experience The Rocks and the highest tides in the world. Worth every penny. Wouldn't change a thing. Thanks, Baymount!

paul marleyn

Excellent, very high quality!

Phil Rushworth

We paddled the rocks immediately following hurricane Ida. In the days preceeding the trip I contacted Baymount and they answered all my calls and in the end, the water was calm and the weather was perfect when the time came to jump in the Kayaks. The guides are knowledgable about the rocks and it is a great chance to paddle over where you have walked or are about to walk on the beach below the water.

Bradley Gibson

Amazing staff. Well educated on the history of the rocks and what is going on with them that season. Great tour. A must if coming to NB

Erin Reilly

This tour was incredible, my 11 year old son and I did it together and we had an amazing time! All of the guides were great. My daughter had a bit of a freak out and wasn’t able to complete the kayak but they handled the whole situation with ease! The scenery, history and education they provide is invaluable, coupled with their instruction during tougher kayak spots; shut up and take my money- it was soooo worth it! 10 stars, highly recommend.

Michael Kuehne

Excellent excursion for the morning through the Hopewell Rocks area and beyond. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable; they took pictures for us non-stop and loved to chat. This is a wonderful way to experience the rocks from a different way than just standing on the shore. Recommended!

Alexander Sultan-Shakh

Amazing experience, friendly and professional team.

Katie McRae

Amazing guides! Care more about your safety and overall experience than the bottom line. The guides are knowledgeable and fun! The company is flexible and were willing to rebook us due to weather. Such a great experience. Absolutely loved it.

Joel JV

If you're in New Brunswick Hopewell Rock kayak tour is something you have to do. The tour guides are awesome and it was a great experience!

Cory Akdag

If you are making a trip to Hopewell Rocks, this tour should definitely be a part of your experience! The guides are informative and fun, and are also very skilled at making new kayakers feel comfortable in the water. The experience itself went beyond our expectations; we had such a good time. This tour was the highlight of our trip!

Haley Milkins

This was the best excursion we could have asked for. Getting to kayak the high tide with an amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and happy staff made for the best memories! I highly recommend kayaking the high tide and then walking the low tide to feel the magnitude of the changes.

Julie Christy

A bucket list activity hands down, what an amazing experience to see the low tides at the Hopewell rocks and then kayak on the rising tide! Tour was informative, fun, and went home with some stunning pictures. Guides were funny, helpful and energetic. Highly recommending this excursion!

Becki Whalen

Amazing guides, knowledgeable, friendly, and a ton of fun. We had the best time kayaking the rocks with them.

Alexandre Legault

We had a lot of fun doing Kayak.

Miguel Mendez

We had such a great time here. The pictures and the stories have been repeated to all of our friends and family. Appart from he fact that kayaking near the Hopewell Rocks was worthy on its own. The real MVP are the staff. They made it super fun and engaging. My wife and I had never kayaked before and they were informative and patient. Would recommend! 100%

Archanna Thayan

My first time ever Kayaking and I am incredibly happy that I was able to book with Baymount! As someone who was very much apprehensive of the whole experience, what really made me feel reassured about the entire thing was the Tour Guide Team! I felt so at ease listening to them all - a big shout out to Joel for keeping me laughing the whole time with his jokes, Alec for his incredibly outrageous stories about the Bay ( we all believed him !!), Josie for keeping the boys in check and joining in on the fun when they let her, Spencer and Jack for jumping in with points of interests to talk to the group about and keeping all of us together and safe. The price was reasonable, the guides executed the entire experience with no delay and the amount of history and information that was imparted to the group as a whole was incredible! I would very much recommend booking here and will no doubt book again with Baymount on my next trip!

Howard Lee

Did the high tide tour about 3 times in 20 years, first with family, then with friends now with my family. All three times the tour has been amazing, highly recommended if you come to see Hopewell Rocks!

Jacqueline Parks

Hopewell Rocks is a great place to see the dramatic tides but be aware that out is mobbed with people. The kayaking is similarly touristy. They take 12 boats at the same time and corral you like sheep. If you're looking for a real kayaking …

We had a great time ! Highly recommend

Peter Skelton

Good equipment, system and leaders. Not as careful of COVID as I'd like

Richard L

My spouse and I went kayaking at Hopewell Rocks and had an amazing time! The crew at Baymount were fun, informative, and safety oriented. We highly recommend this activity as a way to experience the Rocks!

Nitha Theven

Great experience. The owner was extremely friendly and insightful. We got caught in a rainstorm while on the water and both the tour guide Isaac and the owner Shawn remained calm and delightful. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to visit the rocks. Even if you miss high tide, trust me mid tide is just as amazing of an experience!!

Shyam Raman

Superb experience, great team, wonderful views. We are writing this with enormous gratitude and respect for these folks. From start to finish they were professional and maintained positive vibes. Our batch had 10-12 people in 6-7 kayaks. Me and my friend are beginners, don't speak great English, and swim badly. We fell/flipped our kayaks twice. Each time Alec was around and made sure we got back on safe. Unbelievable effort and he did it all with a smile on his face and kept us in his sights all the time. Shaun and was towing us and kept in charge of the situation and Grace was just keeping everyone positive and cheerful with GREAT energy. We kinda ruined the trip for the rest of the group but these guys were great throughout.

Kim Vriends

Great tour of Hopewell Rocks. Enjoyed the guides humor great experience, highly recommend!

Aparajita Paul

We did the 8am Kayak the Rocks tour. For 2 hrs you are kayaking between rocks and on the Bay of Fundy. We enjoyed the morning time experience. There was no crowd when we got there and we got to experience high tide without a lot of hussle …

Darcie Guarderas

Baymount Outdoor Adventures was exceptional in every way! The guides were very professional and safety was of great importance to everyone. After walking on the ocean floor, it is truly awesome to kayak around the "flower pots" just a couple of hours later. A magical day! Our guide was Jack and he was terrific!

Gurinder randhawa

Beautiful

Had an amazing time on this tour! I highly recommend to anyone. Very informative and spectacular to see in person. Absolutely stunning!

Anne McMullon

Fabulous afternoon kayaking yesterday. It was a blustery day on the bay but the skilled guides were amazing. So much fun. We had quite the wild ride. Lots of waves. Kayak surfing was a rush. Excellent excursion. Knowledgeable, skilled staff with great sense of humour. Highly recommend. Amazing way to experience the rugged beauty of the Bay of Fundy.

Jim Bell

Great experience. Guides were very helpful and knowledgeable. There was a very good guide to kayak ratio. Incredible to walk and then float around the Hopewell Rocks.

jeff pearson

This was and excellent tour of the Hopewell rocks. We did the kayaking on Saturday afternoon. We had experienced and newbies in our group and there were no problems. There was a little bit of chop but up close to the rocks it was calm. You have to pay to get into the park but its good for two days so you can walk the rocks the next morning (well worth it in my opinion).

Chantelle Figueira

Kayaking after dark was so cool! This is the most fun I've had in years and I'd probably do it every day if I could. Our group was just us and staff from the park but they were awesome and felt more like good friends. Learned a few things about the area and really can't wait to go back many more times!! Thanks for the memories!

Laura Berry

Such an amazing experience and your guides made this excursion truly memorable. Highly recommend this as a family event.

Kathleen Campbell

This is a must do if you come to New Brunswick. Only place in the world where tides get that high and being able to kayak around the famous rocks was cool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kayaking was comfortable and even dry. Even with no kayak experienced this is easy.

Christian Aglah

A great outdoor experience for family and friends

Stephane Rivest

Awesome experience, witnessing the changes in tide in a kayak is just so cool, the tour guides were great as well, perfectly bilingual

Sarah Davenport

AMAZING experience, a highlight of our time in New Brunswick! This outing is geared for beginners, and we were able to enjoy it as a family. The 90+ minutes paddling included trips in and around the flowerpot rocks as well as through sea caves... Fun, challenging, and honestly breathtaking. The ratio of guides allowed for coaching and support as needed, but they also shared stories and history in each of the coves. If you come to this area, DO NOT MISS the kayak excursion! Thanks for the memories!

Sonja Riutta

This tour was amazing! You absolutely have to do it if you are in New Brunswick. Completely breath taking.

I highly recommend Baymount Outdoor Adventures. Our family of four did the high tide tour around the Hopewell Rocks. My teenage son and I tipped our kayak pushing away from one of the rock walls. You might think this would have spoiled our experience, but it did not. Shawn (the owner who was also one of the guides on this tour) was super responsive and helpful. Our life jackets had us bobbing right back up to the surface and Shawn had us back in the boat within minutes, even giving us a tow from his own kayak to help us catch up to the group. He was attentive, checking how we were doing (more embarrassed than traumatized, honestly) and asking if we wanted to go back early or continue on. But that is not the end of the great service. My son lost his eyeglasses when we tipped and Shawn went back to that spot when the tide was low and found them and called us. That really was above and beyond. The tour itself was beautiful, lovey scenery and we got to see birds. The guides were funny and informative. Despite the tipping, a good experience overall. If you're nervous or inexperienced like we were, just know they are extremely professional and handle everything very well.

Joanne Tremblay

Fun family outing. The staff were helpful and pleasant. I strongly recommend this activity.

tamara good

Lovely tour, great guides, highly recommend!

Aloma MacCormack

Friendly staff. Experienced guides. Awesome tour with guides providing a lot of interesting historical information. They are very accommodating and made the trip fun with lots of history, tales, trivia and humor! Hopewell Rocks is a wonderful heritage site to have in New Brunswick and so great people can enjoy it even more with this kayaking experience! ????????

Stephanie Shaw

Absolutely beautiful sites with an excellent set of tour guides that were knowledgeable and fun. Definitely made a worth while experience kayaking through the Hopewell Rocks and learning about the history of the park!

Lynn Kay

This was an awesome tour. Hard to believe I hadn't done this before since it is so close to Moncton. The tour guides were exceptional and a lot of fun while being professional and making sure everyone was looked after and having fun while being safe. We will certainly be back next year.

Michelle Foster-Manning

We had a great time. The guides were knowledgeable, fun and it was a wonderful relaxing time as well as the history and information we learned on the tour.

Jim Fare

GREAT experience! Their warnings about the "6 foot waves" had us nervous at first, but the waves were very easy to handle in their kayaks. It was a LOT of fun!!! Definitely a must-do when you visit Hopewell Rocks!!!

Allison D

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a good hour and a half on the boat. It was expensive however we quite enjoyed it. Not necessarily a must do but a nice to do if you can afford it. Would recommend first going in the morning to see low tide then back again for this to see high tide.

Banushan Suresh

Incredible kayaking tour. Just know that the kayaks are in doubles ahead of time.

Courtney E

Fantastic experience with an enthusiastic and fun staff. Weather seemed as though it may not cooperate but luckily we weren't delayed too long and blue skies accompanied us during the entire kayaking tour. It was a very easy tour and would …

Eric Tremblay

Awesome experience! Had us smiling the whole time:) Thank you Shaun, Alec and Grace. Melodie and Eric

Bonnie Macklin (BMack)

Wow, what an amazing experience! The Guides were so knowledgeable, friendly and definitely loved what they were doing. A must do, when you are in the area! Thank you Baymount Outdoor Adventures!

Michael K Fish

Excellent kayak tour very nice and knowledgeable staff

Fahad Nadeem

It was such a surreal experience, the guides were quite knowledgeable and friendly. Having just walked the ocean floor and complete low tide the night before it was just amazing to actually see how high the tide actually gets. It's hard to fathom without seeing it

Elizabeth Hachey

As first time kayakers, this was a great experience! The guides made sure that no one was left behind or that no one was too much ahead of the group (so you’ll have a great time no matter your level of experience!). Plus, they make the trip engaging by asking trivia questions and telling you a little about the history of the rocks. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for an adventure!

Jared Zelman

Caring, fun, knowledgeable guides. What a special experience!

Krista Minnich

A must do adventure! Hopewell Cape is a must see place to visit. We went at low tide and waited till high tide to enjoy our kayaking tour. Jack was one of our great tour guides. All were very experienced, put everyone at ease and taught some history lessons along the way. You do not have to be an experienced kayaker to enjoy. Highly recommend, this is an A+ type adventure ????

holly shock

Absolutely wonderful experience! They will go out in rain, which we did, but the water was calm with no wind, so very nice to paddle! Staff is excellent and boats very stable. would recommend walking it before or after taking pics from about the same places to compare later. Thank you!

Dan Geiger

What might be the best way to see the rocks. Did the mid tide tour and though we couldn't kayak between the rocks it was a great way to see them. The mud flats were also a nice addition to the tour to see the whole area. Alex and Spencer were great guides. I'd highly recommend this tour.

Kim Tanner

An amazing experience watching the tide rise and kayaking through the rock formations. Guides were helpful and informative. Most memorable on our trip so far!

Dylan Allen

The tour was amazing. Even without the tour guides corny jokes and interesting stories I would have loved it, but they made it even better. Can't recommend this tour enough.

Gail Delaney

Came back for the second time and brought a friend. First time saw the tide rushing in a stair step with each wave. This time we walked the ocean floor. Truly one of Canada's wonders.

Vicki Caissie

great experience! The guides were very knowledgable with lots of local information I was not aware of.

Nancy Brown

I took the mid-tide excursion since it was the only one that fit my schedule. Unfortunately you don’t paddle between the rocks on this trip since the tide has already started to recede but you do get a beautiful view from the water of all of the coves and rock formations. The kayaks are all doubles and I was alone and so I was paired up with a stranger who had no paddling experience at all. Consequently I worked hard paddling, steering, trying to listen to the info that the guides were giving and taking pictures. That was a real disappointment for me. I was hoping to be with a guide since I have a lot of kayaking experience but that didn’t happen. The staff were very helpful and pleasant (mostly students) and I would like to make a special shout out to Sara who was particularly cheerful, attentive and concerned about everyone. All in all, it was a nice outing and we had a beautiful day!

Jennifer McLean

Baymount was a highlight of our trip to the Maritimes. We spent about 2 hours on the water going in and out of caves and crevices. The guides provided information and education about the Bay of Fundy, the rocks, and tides. Learning to kayak was easy and the guides were patient in teaching us. Shaun, Isaac and Brian were a lot of fun. It was extraordinary to walk on the ocean floor a few hours later literally 16 m below where we had been paddling. A unique way to visit the Bay and we highly recommend it.

Kendra Wentzell

Really fun time, very helpful staff, shout out to Ella, Alec and Olivia. Felt informed and safe. Lots of fun!

Sonya Deol

We had a great experience kayaking through the Hopewell Rocks. A big thank you to our guides Alec and the team! It's a unique way to see the tides even if you're a beginner kayaker!

Kim Forrest

We were in for an adventure on Aug 28th as the waves were 4-5 feet high during high tide. They gave us all the warnings but each and every guide and instructor was professional and honest. We truly felt like we were in great hands. We loved every minute of this kayaking adventure. We actually felt like experience kayakers at the end of the ride. ????. Thank you to each and every one of you that made this such a positive experience! We HIGHLY recommend!!! Very well run business with amazing staff!

dan fryer

So much fun! It's been years since I went kayaking but it was easy to pick up again and the route you take isn't challenging. Lot's of photo opportunity and even wildlife too! Pictures of the birds was easy, pictures of the porpoise not so much. Cool to be joined by the porpoise though, didnt expect that at all. Coming back and seeing how much the tide level had changed too was awesome. Would definitely recommend this, even for the local folk (like me) who dont usually do the tourist things.

jakkula madhu

I am really satisfied with this experience, the way the trainers trained us before the kayak and helped us throughout the trip made the trip a fun and joy filled experience. It is totally worth your money and I would surely recommend anyone travelling to Bay of Fundy to go kayak with "Baymount Outdoor Adventures" and cherish this once in a life time experience.

Erick Dennehy

We had an amazing time kayaking! My wife and I shared a boat and got to see several birds and watch a beautiful sunset while paddling in the bay. The guides were fluent in French and English and were very knowledgeable about Hopewell Rocks and surrounding area.

Sabrina Thompson

Fantastic Tour of the rocks, very professional, the guides are friendly and make everyone feel welcome. Detailed instructions of how to Kayak are provided with a lesson. Equipment was clean and in great condition!!! Can't wait to go back for a longer tour!

Jane Lovely

Wonderful experience and very helpful staff!

rosemary puddicombe

Highly Recommended!!!This is definitely a bucket list item. You get access to Hopewell Rocks for 2 days (woth admission) so you have the opportunity to see both the low tide where you can access the ocean floor and also high tide - the difference can be 40+ ft in a matter of hours. My nephew and I did the high tide kayaking at 8am July 19th - we had a bit of trouble locating the correct entrance, as did 2 other cars. I'm thinking there should be an obvious sign exactly where to access the correct roadway as there is a solid yellow driving line thay looks like you're not supposed to turn down that way.... After a brief safety lesson and getting our gear on, we went to the water a short walk away. The guides were great with taking pics for all the groups as once you're in the Kayak, your POV for pics can be a bit awkward and they're able to get the best angles for what you want to capture. They lead us around and through archways and coves, describing the names of the coves and rocks, offering more picture taking opportunities along the way. By the time was had turned around and were heading back to shore, you could already see a visible difference in where the tide has already receded in such a short period of time. A statistic that was put out was that the tide changes roughly 6-7 feet per hour. We disembarked in a different area from where we started due to the tide being much further away from shore at that location. It was beautiful, the waters were practically still, it was overcast with occasional light rain... it was perfect for this fair skinned woman, I didn't roast in the morning sun! We also saw 3 young endangered peregrine falcons flying around, being the noisy teenagers that they are. Alec, Spencer, and Olivia (so sorry if I botched spelling or a name entirely!) were fabulous guides, keeping it all light and fun on our journey. Tip - wear flip flops/water shoes or shoes you don't mind ruining for the day until they can be properly cleaned! The mud can be very messy ????

Patricia Gomez-Silva

This was an amazing experience. I took my mom, who had never kayaked before, and the guides were so helpful and reassuring that my mom ended up overcoming her fear and having a blast! I would 100% recommend
