It's been a couple years, but my dad and I took a 2 day trip with Turk out of Ucluelet when he was still operating out of there. Turk is a great guy and absolute joy to fish with. He's incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in the fishing process and the area, and will continue to search for fish even when they aren't biting. He wants just as badly as you do to catch fish, and it's evident that he loves his job. We had great luck and good weather, but I would imagine that any time out on the water with him would be good no matter what the situation. We highly recommend giving him a call if you're looking for some good fishing!

Had a great time fishing on the 4hour tour yesterday. Lots of fish caught and a few double headers. Great experience and time fishing with Andrew. He put us right on some Chinook and within 30min after leaving dock we had 1 on. Took 1 keeper home which was delicious. Thanks captain for a great day and convo. I will be back with Gabby.

My sisters and I had such a fantastic time on our fishing charter! We caught many salmon and had a blast chatting with Turk along the way. It was extremely hot that day but Turk's boat was extremely comfortable and even had a cabin with shade and a rooftop that was nice and breezy. He had everything we needed and was there to answer any questions we had. We can't wait to go fishing with Turk again!

Great company to fish with. We flew in from YVR on a float plane and Turk, our guide and owner of Reel Time, met us at the same dock. We took 10 steps and hopped into his boat for a full day of fishing off Nanaimo. Fishing was amazing, Turk knows his trade well. He's easy to chat with, knows the area and other fisherman, and will help you with whatever you are not comfortable doing. Found out the business gives 5% back to the Pacific Salmon Foundation. Definitely my go to company for fishing and tour charters from now on.

I took my 12 year old son on his first ocean fishing trip last June. Turk was amazing with him and made our day a memorable one. He was upfront with me and let me know before I even booked that spring salmon fishing was closed. Which sucked but we still had a great day catching and releasing them. My partner and I had a fantastic time on the 3 hour Scenic Wildlife Tour. Turk was very personable, knowledgeable and flexible with us booking the tour 1 day in advance. We thoroughly enjoyed his local knowledge of the area including the landmarks and natural habitats of several animals and eco systems. We were able to cruise around several local islands, the harbor and we loved seeing Nanimo from the perspective of the water. Would recommend to anyone visiting!

Turk took my father in law and myself out fishing for the morning.We had a great time. He is certainly knowledgeable about the area. My in-law is from Nanaimo and a huge fishing guru... but a little too old to be doing the heavy lifting now. Turk was able to keep up the convo and keep him entertained while I was reeling in the Salmon. Getting to explore the main and surrounding islands was a great time.

Captain Turk is entertaining, knowledgeable, and works his buns off to give you the best fishing experience he can. His rates are reasonable, his boat is safe and clean, and he will bend over backwards (sometimes literally) to get a fish on your hook. Awesome experience that I look forward to having again soon!
