If I could give ten stars, I would!! This was such a wonderful experience, Hans is amazing and made my family feel extra comfortable, not to mention he is quite hilarious! All around stunning boat and scenery, this was an excellent way to experience this beautiful city of Nanaimo. Thanks Hans!!

What a blast! I’ve been to boat tours/cruises in various countries including the Maldives (Shangari-la), the UK, Oman, and others. I enjoyed this one the most! When you see all 5/5 reviews you know there must be consistency in excellence and above and beyond service. It’s Captain Hans. We enjoyed his company, stories, knowledge and care. Will definitely do it again before the end of 2021 season. 10/10 sail, 10/10 super host.

West Coast, best coast! Hans took my family on a catamaran sail, we had all ages from 6 to 60. Beautiful scenery, awesome wildlife, gorgeous boat. Everyone had a super fantastic time. Hans is easy going, accommodating and makes this adventure twice as fun. If you haven't seen our beautiful island from the water you are missing out!

Beautiful evening with my mother and my dog ❤️ I tried paddle boarding for the first time and my mom and I enjoyed dinner of our choice on the ocean. You can’t put a price on this day and he was very friendly. He knew when we wanted time to ourselves and when we wanted to talk. Highly recommend doing at least once!

We took our family of 8 adults and 3 kids under 7 on Hans's catamaran. The boat was fun, clean and exciting. Hans was a wonderful host with fun stories to share, cared about our safety and even had prizes for the kids. Life jackets and basic toilet available on board. we saw a bunch of seals and raccoons.

Hans gave us a lot of information about the island and the First Nation. She told stories from her years of experience and was very good and interesting. He also rode the Dalai Lama in his boat and it was a special experience for him. Hans had immersed a Hindu family very early and liked the worship of Hindus very much. Hans is a good person and he made us very fun. Padel boarded in cold water. Whenever you come to Namaimo, do a trip with Hans. (Original) Hans wanted me to write a review in Hindi so here it goes. हम अगस्त में वैंकूवर आयरलैंड पर परिवार के साथ छूटी बनाने आए थे। हम ने हंस के नाव अधे दिन के लिए किराया की। हंस ने हम को बहुत जानकारी दी द्वीप और फर्स्ट नेशन के बारे में। उसने उसके बहुत साल के तजुर्बे से कहानियां सुनाई और वो बहुत ही अच्छी और रोचक थी। उसने अपनी नाव में दलाई लामा को भी घुमाया था और उसके लिए वो एक खास अनुभव था। हंस ने बहुत पहले एक हिन्दू परिवार को अस्ती विसर्जन करवाया था और उसे हिन्दुओं का पूजा का तारिक बहुत अच्छा लगा। हंस एक अच्छा इंसान है और उसने हमको बहुत मज़ा कराया। ठंडे पानी में तैयराया, पडेल बोर्ड कराया। आप जब भी नमैमो में आएं तो हंस के साथ जरूर एक ट्रिप करें।

We booked the 3 hour trip and even though I am nervous on the water he made sure that I felt comfortable and that everyone had fun in their own way. His Water Dog Codey was an added bonus! Our 2 trips in the last month were amazing! Hans was lots of fun and has lots of amenities for relaxing, swimming, paddleboarding etc. We even lucked out one of the days and got to see whales!

What an amazing experience. Captain Hans was fun, personable, professional, knowledgeable and full of fun facts! We planned on doing the 1.5 hour trip since my husband and son were first timers on a boat (other then the one time on the bc ferry) but once we started they loved it and we had to extend to the 3 hour. You never want to go back to shore! We will absolutely be back for another tour next time we are in the area. I highly recommend going on a tour with Hans! Thank you for being so great with my son. This memory of his first catamaran trip will be with him forever and we wouldn’t change a thing about it! It was better then anything we could have imagined!

Hans gave an absolutely amazing tour out on the waters surrounding Nanaimo Harbour, Saysutshun Island, Protection Island, and Departure Bay! He is so knowledgeable about the area and had endless interesting information to share with us. The scenery was beautiful, and being out on the boat was exciting yet relaxing. The best Catamaran adventure ever! Hans, the captain and owner is very professional, courteous, accommodating, informative, and experienced! He showed us around the harbour and we were allowed to bring our own food and wine! We got to see seals, eagles, an otter and starfish. Newcastle island was beautiful and having the opportunity to explore it on this tour is a bonus. Paddle boarding and swimming are a must if it's a nice day. It was so good we had to do it again. Thank you Hans for two very amazing days!

We went for a sailing adventure for my husband’s grandmother’s 84th birthday and it was AMAZING. Hans was so great. He was kind, patient, entertaining and just an all around good guy who helped us celebrate and spend quality family time together. We felt extremely safe the entire time, and Hans has very good COVID protocols in place. Hans was fantastic with our kids and us adults too. I really can’t say enough good things about our experience. I 100% recommended booking with him-you won’t be disappointed! We will definitely be going again!
