Litterally the best way to travel to Vancouver city centre or Vancouver Airport (YVR). Amazing staff, awesome location in all stops, view of Georgia Straight, mountains, Nanaimo, and Vancouver are amazing and the prices are excellent. Get your phone on airplane mode and ready for action as there is so many breathtaking pictures on a clear day!

Sent and received a package from the Maple Bay facility. Professional team, good rates and lightning fast service to and from Vancouver. Note that packages cannot be held at the Maple Bay facility, you gotta be there to sign for it when it comes off the scheduled plane.

Fantastic! Very quick to Vancouver airport (like less then 30 mins) and shuttle was waiting and took me to Terminal 1 right away. Lady next to me recommended I use the complementary ear plugs they provide and I'm glad I did.

If you can afford it, best way to travel to Nanaimo as a tourist.Tiny luggage allowance but fine for a long weekend. With the upgrade to reserve the two solo window seats in the small planes for a great view. Beautiful scenic views over the city on the way over to Vancouver Island. Not at all scary; much smoother take off and landing compared to conventional planes. Overall the service was efficient and well managed. Nice cakes and coffee in the Vancouver terminal too.

Only ever used them once, for a one-way short flight; Brought my girlfriend to Vancouver randomly to wine and dine and spoil her, for Valentines Day. She had never flown before, so I made a special request to let her sit in co-pilot seat, if it was available. They couldn't CONFIRM they WOULD accomodate this, but stated they would note the account and ask the pilot. Sure enough, she got to sit in co-pilot seat, with the co-pilot radio headset and all :D Flights cost an arm and a leg IMO, BUT it was a LOT faster than BC Ferries, and WAAYY more scenic. If you got the $ for it, go for it :)

Always a great time with Harbour Air! The staff is always fantastic and a pleasure to work with! The flights are phenomenal - faster than the ferry with a much better view! You can even sit next to the pilot if you're lucky! Do yourself a favour, take Harbour Air at least once. Take a scenic your, a scheduled flight, anything! It is absolutely worth it.

Very reasonable. If you think about how much it costs and how long the trip to Vancouver is by BC ferries, Harbour Air is a perfect solution. If you're traveling alone and not with a family I find this a great alternative. It's a beautiful 20 minute trip with amazing views and you're in Vancouver before you even know it. However, it can get fogged in often during winter so please make sure if that happens you have an alternative plan. I missed an international flight from VYR once because of it. Won't do that again.

If you have the money or are short on time this is the way to do it. Costs about 80 bucks and lands you close to Vancouver airport (when flying from nanaiimo). Then you can take a free shuttle right to the airport. Me and the wife did it on our honey moon. Nice views if it's not foggy or cloudy.

Harbour Air is located in the middle of town on the Seawall on Nanaimo's Harbour for convenience and easy access for a great choice of flights to the mainland and downtown Vancouver or explore many of the other Gulf Island destinations. Harbour Air can get you more places faster than any other means of public Transit throughout the west coast. Harbour Air has very reasonable rates so you can explore more of the beauty and vastness that makes up Canada's West Coast. I highly recommend flying Harbour Air.

It's one of my favourite ways to get from Vancouver Island to Vancouver's downtown - via seaplane! The pilots sure know a thing or two about landing these craft. Both Nanaimo's downtown harbour area as well as Vancouver's Coal Harbour area are very pleasant places to hang out while waiting for one's flight.

Snow hit the island afternoon of Dec 27. First my flight out of maple bay gets cancelled 1hr before takeoff, they rebook me out of Nanaimo, if I hurry I can make it. They cancel my Nanaimo flight after checking me in 15 minutes earlier,I don't live on the island, my ride is gone. They tell us they will "try" to get us a cab, the next ferry was in 1 hr, could still make it. No taxi came. No provision from staff to get us (myself and others) to another travel solution. Missed that ferry, almost got frostbite trying to pull my suitcase in the snow.

Coastal Cleaning And Maintenance

Amazing views most days days and top not fast service and your on the rock in 15 mins. Beats the slug tug ferry everytime. Usually at my destination before the ferry even docks. Now with Uber it's depending on location it ends up being cheaper anyway.
