Mac has his antlers back on!! Cool place to jump out and stretch the legs a bit before moving on. The world's tallest moose indeed. Be on the lookout for groundhog or prairie dog holes too. Lots going on around here, 2 gas stations and plenty to eat. There are food trucks along with a Tim hortons across the street. McDonald's is close by if you are into that type of franken food. Everly was working in the tourist information center and she is an absolute doll!! She loves her job and you can definitely see that, very bubbly and informative as well. Could only dream that more places have people like her working for them...

Mac the Moose is a super tall moose monument near one of the entrances to Moosejaw. It is cool to see, and worthy of a photo opportunity. Check out news articles where a European country decided to build a taller moose and the people of Moosejaw banded together to give him a bigger set of Antlers so he remained the tallest. He is next door to the Tourist information building and the snowbird jet monument.

Mac the Moose has a fun little story about how some folks in Norway tried to usurp Mac's throne for the tallest moose and the city came together to give Mac new antlers. Mac reclaimed the title of the world's tallest moose when a new set of antlers was installed, raising its height to 10.36 metres! A neat little pit stop on our cross Canada roadtrip. Mac still holds the crown for the world's largest moose!

Antlers are currently being renovated, but from underneath, you can see that this is a "Mac" and not "Mac-ette". It's a nice advertisement for the nearby Tourism Centre, which itself is very helpful. Canadian Snowbirds jet is also interesting.

Mac used to be on the edge of Moose Jaw, next to the highway, but over the years he's become surrounded by buildings, shopping and restaurants. It makes it a bit tough to get a good photo but you still can. He's a Moose Jaw icon, so stop by for a quick break if you can. There's also a Snowbird jet next to him - another Moose Jaw icon.

If you are visiting Moose Jaw, you definitely have to see the "moose"! The biggest moose structure in the world. I heard that there was a bigger moose built in a Scandinavian country one year, and the whole Moose Jaw community rallied together to make this one the biggest in the world again. It is a cool story, and it speaks to the community of Moose Jaw! You have got to check out the moose.

Fun little stop for the kiddos to see a Giant moose and a Snow bird plane. The food trucks were already closed when we arrived around 7pm. But we still had a look around. If you bring your dog and he or she is a mouser. Leash it up! The ground squirls are everywhere and they almost disgusting with the sheer population of them.

Neat little side attraction off the side of the highway leading into Moose Jaw. Free, and ample parking, and no cost to see Mac the Moose. It's exactly what you'd expect, just the world's biggest Moose! They have a couple of plaques explaining the history of why, and how this became to be as well. There is a Visitor Centre right beside it with great information about the town and surrounding area, with washrooms as well.

Mac the Moose is always a hit for people visiting Saskatchewan or Moose Jaw. It was a hit for me as a kid and now for my daughter. Back in the day you used to be able to go right up to his legs and take a picture. Another bonus is that Tim Hortons is right next to it for your coffee fix.

I'm sorry I love Mac but he don't really look much like a normal moose. More like a cartoon moose. It is a must stop in location though even if you are passing by. Great photo opportunity here and there is a tourist information booth there as well. Not to mention a jet plain to take a photo with. Timmies is across the street for coffee as well.

This was our first stop on our big move across Canada. You could see it in the distance and it was so exciting! I love taking pictures of my dog during our travels and this was super exciting to see. It was so nice that it's so lit up at night! You can't tell the size in the photos, but definitely worth the visit at anytime of the day!

When driving through Moose Jaw how can you not stop. Interesting to see and surprised to also find a Snowbirds plane here. Also surprised by the amount of Richardson Ground Squirrels (gophers) here. Had to stop for a photo with the world's largest moose! There's a small tourism center right beside that wasn't open til 10 am so I didn't see inside. Lots of parking. Tim Hortons across the road.
