If you are a 75+ year old white grandmother who thinks that a 2x4 painted blue with some rope glued to it is art then this is the spot for you! Featuring a bunch of junky tourist "cottage art" stores and like 5 pizza joints in the same block, nothing worth checking out unless the art walk or buttertart festival is going on. Any locals you meet in this area will ask you for a cigarette or some change to take to their fentanyl dealer. In all honesty im going to change my review from.a 2 star tona 3 star because atleast downtown midland corrals the cidiots into a general area.

Great place to get away too and spend a day or two. We were there for a day and had a fabulous time walking and driving around the town. We also saw the beautiful murals and met Sonia who revived two of the murals. She was happy to take a photo with me and also with some other ladies who were also visiting Midland. Sonia was very friendly and was happy to tell us about the history of Midland.

Downtown stores are amazing. I had not shopped in Midland for a number of years and was pleased to see such a nice variety of shops and restaurants.It appears the downtown has survived covid shutdowns and we were happy to see covid protocols in place .

Global pets is by far the best store in this area staff are awesome and friendly always have what you need and if they don't they're willing to get it for you or recommend something as close as possible have never been dissatisfied with them yet and unlike other pet stores don't laugh at you or look at you like fool for asking simple questions and ate always flexible with the customers makes for a pleasant experience

The out side was dirty.. Mask wipes etc... In around the carts.. Staff ok..Girl did clean up mess... May try one more time..need a dollar or your token to get cart...its not like others...put on hold till covid clear...this was not down town Midland..it was No Frills.. Out by LBCO..

New facility is excellent. However, new parking barriers (bollards) are too short and invisible on passenger side mirror,could easily damage vehicle fenders, doors etc. Passenger can't see bollard and may damage a door/paint.
