Awesome tour from Xavier! He responded very promptly to all my questions and catered the tour to my family history in the area. It was a very cold day so he offered to take us in his car and was able to adapt the tour based on our interests as well as the weather. He really went above and beyond, including a tour of Vieux Quebec even though I had just requested Levis, because there was additional family history there.

We LOVED this walking tour of Old Quebec. It was the perfect Christmas Day activity for our family. We had our 10 and 12 year old daughters with us, and Xavier engaged them in the tour as well, which doesn't always happen! I highly recommend Xavier. On August 8, 2018, my family and I were fortunate to have the BEST tour of Québec City with Xavier! It lasted three hours, and gave us a great overview of the City with a lot of really interesting history. In fact, the word for history in French is the same word they use for story: histoire. It's obvious that Xavier has taken this fact to heart, because he was able to spin historical facts into fascinating stories, vividly bringing them to life. This is a true skill that few can master. Our children, aged 18 and 15, were very impressed by this experience. We all were! Thanks Xavier for making our first trip to Québec very special. We're looking forward to returning and touring with you again!

Xavier is an amazing guide who is extremely knowledgeable about Quebec City. His tour style is engaging and informative! There was a lot of history but not overwhelming at all. I would recommend booking a tour with him so you can walk though the city with a better understanding of the religion and political history of how Quebec City came about.

I can't overstate how happy we are to have taken this tour with host Xavier on our first day in Quebec City. My husband is a history buff while I'm much less knowledgeable. The information shared was fascinating to both of us. Xavier gave so much context to events so you could really understand not only what but also why. Xavier was an amazingly competent, preparared, intelligent and quietly comedic guide, all of which made the tour of Quebec City enjoyable and informative on a day when the temperature was -15F. He was able to place the modern city of Quebec in the context of its fascinating history, both the good and bad. Xavier's grasp of the complicated religious and politcial stresses that forrmed Quebec made history come alive. Hence the tour was far more than a description of old buildings and battlefields but a walk down the memory lane of history that will not be easy to forget.

Our small group of six women had a wonderful tour of Quebec City with Xavier. He shared his passion for history with us and sprinkled in some humour along with personal stories and anecdotes, which made for a really great day. I have been to Quebec City many times before and realize now how little I really knew about it. You just don't get the same appreciation walking around the town on your own. Xavier greeted us with a smile, asked our names and also what in particular interested us to tailor the tour. On a very hot day, his tour moved along at a comfortable pace. He found shade for us as well as restrooms along the way. His facts and stories were engaging and his personality a plus! I highly recommend this tour!

Our company group of 6 worked with Xavier to plan our 5 day trip to Quebec City. For most of us, it was our first time visiting Quebec and Xavier helped make our trip one of the best we have ever taken. He was so helpful during the planning stages with recommendations for everything including activities, scheduling, lodging, and dining. He was always extremely friendly, helpful and responsive to all our questions and requests. He helpd put together a custom itinerary featuring some of the best activities and sights in and around Quebec City. Everything was planned and scheduled perfectly by Xavier, making the whole process and trip extremely smooth and relaxing. We were able to just focus on having fun. Xavier provided a custom walking tour of the Old City as well as guided excursions to Montmorency Falls, dog sledding, and Valcartier. He also provided a private tour of one of the highlights of our trip, the Hotel de Glace (Ice Hotel). It is a must do and having Xavier guide us through made the experience that much more memorable. Xavier was always friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable about the histroy and culture of the area. You could easily tell how much he enjoys being a guide and loves his city. I would without a doubt recommend Xavier for any group to help ensure you take advantage of all the wonderful things Quebec City has to offer.
