3 generations of our family had a wonderful day in St Jacob’s. The beautiful family farm - run by the same family for 7 generations! - around which you ride includes a maple forest. After the ride a cozy wood cabin awaits w/fire and hot apple cider.

It was a fun tour go go on with the family. The price of the tickets were very reasonable for the trolley ride-a tour of how a local farm processes maple syrup-and a pancake lunch. I found all of the information very fascinating and didn't know as much as I thought I did about maple syrup. It is a fun outing to take the young ones on.

Those poor horses. (That's just my opinion. What do I know? I'm sure they are well taken care of and have a good life. They support a purpose and fulfill their nature - being workhorses and such. Just sad how they had to lug my fat a.. around in the cold).

The host was very kind and explained everything very well. Encouraged the children to pet the horses on the nose before we got on the sleigh and even went out of his way to pick up part of our party who lost their way on the old road.

Local, friendly family owned business. Perfect for a fun, educational sugar bush trip away from busy crowds. Has a few farm animals and chicks as a bonus! Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Pancakes were very yummy and trying the different varieties of syrup was interesting.

Have a short little tour from the St Jacob's farmers market to an actual production maple syrup farm. Ride a horse-drawn trolley, see how maple syrup is made, and sample some syrup. Great for the whole family. A memorable, educational experience.

Our host was fantastic and took pictures of us. The horses are impressive and well taken care of (the farm dog is also very entertaining). We had a warm blanket for the ride and could sit and enjoy warm apple cider by the fireplace.

Very interesting and exciting tour. The guide was able to answer even the most obscure questions and was quite entertaining. Discovered a new source for all of our maple needs! Saw my first ever 300 year old maple tree! Definitely recommend and not only for tourists.

Great trip for kids or anyone! The carriage ride was comfortable and pancakes are included. Able to purchase maple syrup products. The driver and the tour leader at the maple sugar bush were knowledgeable. Small petting zoo and log cutting activities as well.

Wonderful time at the farm! Horse drawn wagon ride was great! The cabin use afterwards was a welcome addition to the event!

Sleigh rides while its snowing!. Kids had a great time, petting the horses and really enjoyed the ride. Had apple cidar and a warm fire to warm up after the ride. Dress warmly and bring some blankets and you'll be fine. Great for large families.
