I have been using shift ride for more than a year now and it's without doubt the best of its kind in town. Registration process is simple. Download the app, save your driving license and payment information in there. The app shows a map with all the available cars and their location. Book your car and you're good to go . The best thing is that Insurance and gas are covered so no need to worry about that. It's good if you have to run errands like groceries and stuff. A receipt will be emailed to your after you end your trip. Their rates are way cheaper than Uber or taxis plus you get the freedom of driving the car anywhere. Would highly recommend it especially for students!!!!

Shift Ride is a useful app for people who dont have access to a car on a daily basis. For me personally, Shift Ride has been extremely helptfor running errands or getting around the city quickly and for all for a reasonable price. Its been about a year since I started using Shift Ride and I am very grateful I found it. It has been reliable and convenient every time ive used it. A great and convenient car-booking service. They have amazing prices and a variety of cars I would recommend this app for running errands, hanging out, or travelling to places as far as Toronto. My transportation issues have been solved ever since I got this app.

Could be a useful service but the overall experience and app needs a lot of improvement. First you aren’t told that you need to verify your license until after trying to book a car, which takes several hours (my friend had to change her plans as a result). They also charge $15 for this which would’ve been nice to know before signing up. On several occasions I found that the car itself has some sort of issue (dirty, low gas, break warning lights and other warning messages). Also some minor technical issues with the app. One good thing is they do respond quickly to your messages, which is nice when you run into issues.

This is a clutch service if you need to run errands or work out of town! Much cheaper than car rentals and Uber. Love the customer service and the fact that gas is included. Waiting for the android app to come out!

Hidden charges and no transparency in billing. Got emailed a receipt for about $59.61, but my credit card had two charges, that one, and another $183.37. No adequate attempt at resolution was made by the company when I contacted them. There explanation of the hidden charges was inconsistent and shady. And after days of back and forth, they only offered a $25 refund and $15 store credit - like I'd use the company again.

I have used ShiftRide to rent cars a couple of times now and I think it's one of the most convenient car rental services available. Compared to other car rental companies where you have to go to a physical location and wait half an hour for them just to tell you the car you booked is not available and give you a different one, with these guys I can do all of this in the comfort of my home and receive the actual car I booked. If you value your time and peace of mind this is a great service.

Considering this platform? Read this first!! I was considering an alternative platform to rent my cars. I met Zack through a friend. We met and discussed as I have many vehicles. He basically told me one thing and slowly changed the deal we had discussed. I marketed my own business to rent my cars on shift. I did not get one booking through the platform itself. One of my cars got written off on the platform. Zack and Nima did not assist me through this at all. When I called they brushed me off the phone and told me to call Northbridge. Then when I finally got a hold of Nima and told him how I felt he responded to me by saying “me and Zack are new at this and we are still learning”. We’re talking about an asset we work hard to attain and basically these guys are quick to brush things off and leave you stranded. They are unavailable after 7pm which is a joke considering rentals are 24/7. They do not offer road side assistance or rental coverage if your car is in an accident. This low end platform is a risk and dangerous considering the liability needed to drive. The owners are both amateurs and unprofessional.
