This place has started to regain the magic! Can't wait to come back in December!
It’s Disney, I mean come on!! Of course we always have a blast when we visit; however, I’m giving it a 3 star because the last three years have been too over crowded. You will spend thousands visiting but for those who fly in just for a weekend, you spend $100 to $200 per ticket and hardly get to rid any rides anymore. Sometimes walking around is hard. It truly is over crowded and they let too many people in the parks… Perhaps limit it a bit more so it’s not as crowded and people aren’t getting ran over. I highly recommend a stroller for kids, they will get ran/walked over. (Check out Fantasy Stroller on Google! We love them.)
It's truly such a dream come true!!!! Everyone was so nice and friendly. I loved every minute, even if it was super hot and humid. The lines can be really short or really long, just remember to stay hydrated. Also wear good shoes because your feet will definitely hurt by the end of the day.
Had a wonderful time!! The kids really enjoyed themselves! You must complete online for whichever park you are visiting. From my understanding this is because of COVID restrictions. You can also purchase parking online or at the gate. Best time to go is very early in the morning and be there when the gates open to the park you're visiting. Bring a backpack with snacks, meds water and whatever else you may need. There is alot of walking! We stayed in a townhouse and picked one park to visit for the whole day since it was our first time going. You can leave and return that night with the same ticket. We went from 730am- 1 and then returned around 6pm til watch the nighttime show at the castle. Next time we will plan to visit multiple parks since we have a better understanding of what to do now.
Overall, it was a great experience! Lots of options as far as restaurants go. However, not sure if it was due to covid, but menu options at 90% of the restaurants are limited to 4-6 entrees which is frustrating considering most sit down places run $40-$100 per person around the parks. The parks are very over crowed considering there is no mask mandate unless you are indoors which is also a bit frustrating. Other than those items mentioned, it is a blast to take your family and spend your money. The fireworks shows are by far some of the best I’ve seen, and all of the staff are very helpful and have answers to all your questions.
What can you say... its Disney!! Reasonable mask requirements (on indoors); not too large in terms of crowds; weather cooperated; and it's the 50th!!! I am not fond of the Genie+ as it is too limiting in terms of reservations - literally one at a time. Bring back the old fast pass system where you can actually plan an entire day and not one stop at a time.
It's amazing and it will bring back so many memories.
What do you due for a special 21st Birthday Celebration? Drink around the world! It was a whole new experience with our daughter sampling direct drinks and foods this time around.
5.7 million gallon aquarium. It has amazing fish, sharks, dolphins, manatee. Coral. Super cool
Visited the Animal Kingdom Resort for supper at Boma. Which is an amazing place to eat. Also visited Fort Wilderness Lodge/Resort area and had Thanksgiving supper at Trails End Restaurant. Food was very delicious and brisket was amazingly cooked. #bring back the buffet
My first time at the magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. I've gone to Disneyland in California Orange county multiple times however I really looked forward to going to Disney World. I really enjoyed it. Make sure that you arrive early enough in your day (morning), so that you can experience it for a full day until closing. Also we went to their Christmas party that they had for guests, you had to pay for that. So we were there for a full day at the beginning of the week, and then at the end of that week on a Friday night we went to the Christmas party. I absolutely loved it! At 9:00 p.m. the kiosks that have the popcorn and soft drinks and bottled water, ice cream bars etc, they give those out for free, it was just awesome! It was worth the price of the ticket for each of us in the family just for that alone. Plus you get on rides a lot easier because you don't have those out of control extended lines. I will advise you get the Disney band bracelet like we did, we customized and designed them ourselves. And then of course it's your entrance into each one of the theme parks and access to the rides. Saves you a ton of time! We also paid for the upgraded parking each day it was worth it because you're closer, and the walk isn't as long. Make certain to wear very comfortable and supportive shoes! No sandals or flip-flops! Lol! Our days were no less than 12 hours of straight walking at each park for a full week. You want to have happy comfortable feet. Shopping: a great time to shop at the retail stores along main Street would be during the parade because everybody's lined up and down the street watching it, and there is hardly anybody in the stores so you can go in and purchase whatever you want, walk right up to the cash register and just buy your items with no wait. I loved that! Starbucks: if you are a Starbucks rewards app person like myself, be aware that you will not be able to use the promotions and specials that Starbucks offers that you receive in your app at any of the parks and resorts. If you're wanting to do that, I would advise that you just go to a drive-up at a regular Starbucks on your way to the park. Expenses: keep in mind before you go to any of the parks that of course things are going to be a lot more expensive than you are probably used to. Once you wrap your head around that, then you are able to plan accordingly for snacks and food. Fireworks: the most amazing firework displays I've ever seen in my entire life are at magic kingdom, and epcot. Gorgeous. Babies: I discovered during our second visit at the magic kingdom, that the baby care center location was the best and most enjoyable location for me watching the fireworks at the castle. Everyone else is on main Street watching the fireworks, and you are able to just sit and relax at the baby care location outside while your baby is in the stroller sleeping or you're holding him or her. Excellent location for families with babies and or small children to sit outside. Enjoy! CAB ????
It's a Great place to take your kids and an even better place to take your Grandkids. The Beauty of the details put in to everything is Amazing.
Pretty close to awful. It is obvious that Disney is trimming costs and charging guests more for less. We went to the Magic Kingdom on a Saturday and Epcot on a Monday. There are no more trams running in the parking lots, to assist guests to the park entrances. There are no more performers. No more song and dance. No parades. No Mickey and Donald. The employees that are around seem overworked and a little hostile. It's their job to yell at you if you forget your mask in the restroom. No more FastPass. Now there is Lighting Lane on the Genie app, which costs $$ per person per ride. No more perks for staying at a Disney resort. No spontaneous decisions about where to eat. You have to make reservations in advance for any restaurant. Still had fun at the Magic Kingdom, mostly from nostalgia. The old rides are still good. The standby wait times were 20-30 minutes, despite the Lightning Lane people having priority for every admission. Epcot was overcrowded. With the construction in the middle of the park, the walking lanes were choked. All the good rides had 100+ minute wait times. Food and drink are overpriced and undersized. Go to Universal, take a cruise, visit a national park, etc. Avoid Disney.
Walt Disney World is always the most magical place on earth , if you properly plan. First off, get the Genie packet which allows you to book the Lightning Line, which was before known as fast pass! Book your lunch ahead of time and download the app, it makes it so much easier. Make sure that if you’re bringing a bag or backpack, have it ready, open pockets to make entering easier And for those with little kids, we’ve always left when we knew our little girl was done, so she’s never had a melt down.
I took my family for Christmas to Disney. This was an experience of a lifetime. I can not say enough about how much fun we had, and how hard the park staff works to make it such a perfect experience. We made it to all the parks in 4 days. Not quite enough time to see it all. I do recommend at least 2 days at magic Kingdom. There is so many different things to do and see. If you have never been to Disney I highly recommend you go NOW!! It will not disappoint. Thank you every single person who works at Disney World.
This is the happiest place on earth. I’ve been here many times and the latest trip was this year. They have a good system being put in place and there’s only a certain amount of ppl that can visit per day. I like it actually because it’s not super crowded compared to my previous visits. The lines were bearable. I just hope they add more food choices that is easily accessible any where in the park.
Great times. Lots of memories are made here. Tickets not to pricey But food is. Toys are pricey. Great staff though. Employees ate great no bad staff experiences here. Lines can be long but had great time without Fast pass. Might want to buy though 4 less hassle. Advising to Book extra activities in Advance.
I had a fun experience. Only gripes we're the new lightning lanes instead of fast passes and the wheelchair management. On one of the rides our wheelchair was taken by the wrong person and after riding the ride a second time some random man was sitting in our wheelchair.
Had a blast here, but docking them a star for their obnoxious efforts to make it look like they care about the pandemic. Expect to wear a mask in every building, even if there's only two people in it and you're twenty feet apart. But before you enter, expect to stand in a sea of thousands of people with no masks, pressed against each other like sardines, shuffling to the entrance, for a good hour. Nobody cares about it any more, let's stop trying to fool each other.
Beautiful,so much to see ,and not enough time. We spent all day there watch fireworks over castle at night. Breathtaking.
very fun place to have fun and also I think it was kinda fun in there. it was a bit fun in there to be honest. kinda funny in there. also I had a lot of fun tbh. it was kinda funny. very funny it was. kinda funny to be able. was funny
Yes, it's the happiest place on Earth. It's magical every time. Prepare yourself for crowds so you don't get frustrated by them - you'll enjoy it much more.
Phenomenal rides. Amazing experiences at every attraction. Over priced food/drink, clothes, and toys, but that is to be expected. During the COVID era, the lines have been less long now that reservations are taken for entry. It wasn't shoulder to shoulder crowds for a change which was nice. However, now that you can basically buy your way to the front of the lines with a lightning pass, you will be lucky to get on five or six rides in one day if you use the "Standby" line. The introduction of the "lightning line" was effectively a hidden ticket price increase for those that wanted a fighting chance to see all the park has to offer in a reasonable amount of time. I can't wait for my kids to get over Disney. I can't wait to not wait in line anymore.
Had such a blast!!! First time visitor and it was awesome! My only complaint is the genie plus and the fast lane pass is a no go. You can only book one experience at a time and that doesn't guarantee you a spot if everything is booked up.
By far the most amazing place! We have waited 2 years to come (because of covid) and it was worth the wait. I never encountered a mean person. We stayed at pop century and the beds were amazing. The pillows were amazing. Literally everything was amazing.
It's the Magic Kingdom. Fun, lots of fun. Fabulous food and amazing rides and shows.
If you've never been to Disney you will never understand what you are missing. It's a special kind of magical place where the possibilities are endless (as are the costs, but I digress). From the many theme parks, water parks and shopping districts to the many restaurants and resorts, you can mold a vacation of your dreams... As long as that dream takes place in nearly-always-hot-and-humid Florida! If you can budget for the full experience, get an on-premises hotel/resort and a park hopper ticket and see a bunch of what Disney has to offer. Looking to keep it simple? Get something off-premises and choose an off-peak weekday one-park ticket and check out (my personal favorite) Magic Kingdom. The classics still hold up after all these decades (Haunted Mansion is my all-time favorite ride). If you like thrills, the Tron coaster opens soon so you'll have that going for you, too. After the park, do some late night shopping and dining at Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island). I could, honestly, never stop talking about WDW so rather than blabber on and on I'll just leave the rest to you to discover! Happy Hidden Mickey hunting!
My children and I had a great time when we went to Disney World. So far, we have been to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. There is so much to see and do. We went during the Food and Wine Festival, so the food and beverage options were definitely much better than other attractions around town. There are quick food options and fine dining restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Mary Poppins was so happy to see my kids and that made their day; they were very happy to smile and wave back to her. I definitely recommend the Frozen ride in Epcot and the Avatar ride in Animal Kingdom. The last time I came to Walt Disney World Resort was in 2015 when I ran the Disney World Marathon. I posted a couple pictures from that. I live in California so the I wasn’t prepared for the weather difference from January to July but there were water spraying fans that we bought that were super helpful. I filled them with cool water from water bottles I put in the fridge and that cooled us right down. I knew it would be hot and muggy, but you don’t know what that’s like til you’re there. Disney has got you covered with ice cold treats and indoor AC retreats.
Animal Kingdom at Disney World. Great day and a wonderful experience. Had to have a pineapple whip float also tried a Night Blossom ???? it was good too. Due to COVID they are not doing Nimo show and have greatly changed the Lion King show.
We have visited Walt Disney World Resort many times over the past 10 years and have loved it every time except for this year's trip. Disney has made so many changes like Genie+ that has made this vacation so frustrating! We are looking for the all inclusive experience and not this new Disney "hoops" they put us through. Come on Disney you can do better!
It is great. The kids loved it very much. It is better to take your own cooler so you don't have to buy everything in the park. You will save a lot of money that way. It is expensive but it is worth it also for the kids. We love the experience and having the memories with the kids. I would recommend it to anyone that has children. We will be going back soon. The pass Hopper is nice. If you try to download the app to buy food in the park do it before you go. The food is good in the park but it is expensive
The back of the castle by ariels grotto is the best place to see fireworks .
Parks are clean. Overcrowded. Most people do not wear mask outside. Mask are mandatory inside. Line for rides are long. Most parks need benches for sitting. Limited scooters for handicap people. Way too many strollers around the park. No social distancing. Most sanitizer stands around the park are empty.
Went here 3-4 weeks ago and it truly is the most magical place on Earth. We visited every world here and it is packed with diversity and the parking is ultra efficient and transportation always arrives on time. There is something to do here for everyone. The price is definitely well worth the cost.
The most magical place on earth. One thing about Disney is everyone is kind. They are willing to help each other out. When you are there, the outside world is nonexistent unless you watch the news. The fireworks are spectacular, feel good songs from disney classics and new. One thing I realize about their fireworks show is that they are messages they leave you with. I ❤️ it. There are four parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios. It's worth the trip a least once in a lifetime.
Always great to visit Disney World after years away but after this time was very different. Tried to get on "Rise of the Resistance" twice and failed both times due to technical difficulties and staff provided little insight on why. The second time I waited three hours left due to lack of communication from staff. Went to Epcot second half of day and level of construction really detracted from experience. The new lighting on Spaceship earth was beautiful and Harmonious was spectacular but long lines for everything coupled with construction was unfortunate. Finally survey after visit clearly reflected that food service and shopping were their priorities, not a single question about overall experience or other feedback. Could be that a trip to Disneyworld is now about food, drink and shopping versus rides but you can do that closer to home perhaps.
Disney is amazing! Everything they do is top notch (and top dollar)! You can do it on a budget, staying at one of the value resorts saves money. We came with our family of seven and didn’t need to rent a car which would have to be a larger vehicle, parking, gas… Disney‘a transportation system is seamless.
Getting frustrated by the extra costs for previously free perks. In some cases there is no need to pay extra at certain parks or at certain times of the year. My family does love the theme parks and have visited multiple times. On this trip, my son and I ran the 10K race on marathon weekend. It was a blast, though very early.
I love all things Disney!! I was born and raised in California so Disneyland is my home but Disney World is so much more! Animal Kingdom Park is such a unique place and my favorite!! The food was delicious everywhere I ate. I cannot wait to go back!!
My first time ever visiting Disney World was this weekend and I’m 29 years old. It was a date. No kid with me. Just me and a very nice guy. I loved the experience. The random parades were the highlight of my experience. The dancers and participants did an amazing job. I felt like a big kid recording, waving, and engaging with them. I only visited Magic Kingdom this time. I can’t wait to go back and visit the other parks. The longs were extremely long, but I was told to expect that. I still had a great time.
There's too many pictures to even pack in here but thank you Disney for making our honeymoon so special! I'll be bringing back my son when he's older! He's only 1 now, but I can't wait to see his reaction to it too!
Amazing time at Disney World! My daughter had the best time ever. We spent seven days at the park and did not see everything! Would have loved to spend more time there. It is definitely the best place on earth for her. We will be back soon!
One of a kind for children of all ages. Haunted Mansion & Pirates of the Caribbean. Wonderful Place.
It's simply a magical place. The family adores our trips.
“A magical place” does not begin to describe the phenomenal experience that is brought with visiting this extraordinary place. The most “magical” part of this park isn’t just the rides or attractions that bring people together, but rather the experience and ambience of the entire place. Seeing fireworks light up the night sky, and seeing the elaborately designed halloween themes brought to life truly made this visit with my so special. This is a place that I will forever hold dear to heart and what’s great about it is the ability to go more than once, and still have that equally magical experience when visiting. If you are thinking about going to Disneyland, think no more and purchase the tickets. No matter your age, you will truly have a spectacular time here.
Beautiful.. Tree of Life by day and the lightning at night. AWESOME. The park was enjoyable lots of walking, bring your drinks make some sandwiches ????????????????Enjoy!!
Fun for all ages....love this place. We have gone here 4 times and already looking at another visit. Make sure to reserve the tickets for the park you are looking for in advance. Also download the Disney experience app on your phones.
Yes! Yes! Yes! This place is worth it in every single way! It is so clean and pleasant! Disney is very expensive but it is worth it! There is so much to do for every age group. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to go back!
First trip to Disney Magic Kingdom and it did not disappoint. Kids had a blast and wife was a kid in a candy store. So much to do there you will need more than 1 day to get it all done! We can't wait to go back next year!
