It's worth the drive to Wilson in New Liskeard. Avoid this dealership. A year ago, I brought my vehicle in because I was getting error codes. I paid for diagnostics, parts, and work that should have been covered under warranty. I was unaware that work was warrantied - I trusted the guys at Lakeshore. Was unaware of this until some similar work was covered at Wilson in NL. The manager said, yeah, that work should have been done under warranty. I tried to get my $ back through GM Canada but after over a month of explaining, sending receipts, re-explaining several times, I was told: "The service person probably entered the wrong code. This happens. That person is no longer at Lakeshore Motors. If you had brought this to our attention sooner, we may have been able to do something for you." I do shop local whenever possible, but I will drive to NL for my vehicle needs, and advise whoever I can to avoid this place.

Stopped in to pickup some stuff at the parts counter waited a good 15min for service, then was met by a visibly disgruntled employee. Won't be going back for service or to purchase a vehicle.

our vehicle's starter went in the middle of our cross-country trip from our house we sold near Toronto to our new home in Alberta - These guys got us in, diagnosed, fixed (new starter) and out in less than 3 hours SAME DAY (when other places in town told us it would be days before they could even see us) Thanks for saving our bacon!!
