Tuned in to a virtual Haunted Campfire and it was very well done! Great stories, and so nice to do virtually so I could listen from the comfort of my own home.
Touristy
Elaine was our host/tour guide for our experience and it was obvious she was both knowledgeable and passionate about her role. Being a local, it was quite interesting to hear of these events that occurred right in our own backyard. Steve
(Translated) Thank you to Maya for taking the time to answer all our questions, for responding to the children with a smile and for showing a fascination with her visits. The experience was very pleasant. Visiting historic places with magnificent architecture with a little dose of horror is always pleasant. I highly recommend this kind of activity to see other sides of the cities.
We enjoyed our walking tour with Michelle - she was knowledgeable and an engaging storyteller!
We were lucky to have Abbey Lee as our tour guide, she is excellent! You can tell she really cares to ensure all have a great time! Abbey's speaking skills are some of the best I've seen, really impressed! We also went on the Kingston penitentiary tour which felt long and arduous and very impersonal with the tour guide. August 8th 2019 - we had to miss our original booking for the Fort Henry haunted tour in July due to food poisoning. This company allowed us to reschedule to this date, so accommodating! Our tour guide was Michelle she is excellent! The whole experience is awesome! I just booked for their Upper Canada Village haunted tour. I highly recommend these tours!
It was a lot of fun hearing the scary stories in the dark! Our guide was very engaging and kind.
We did the zoom haunted campfire session from the Halifax Citadel. It was so well done, and we really enjoyed it as a family. We’ve already signed up for next week.
My girlfriend and I went on the Haunted walk of Kingston and we loved it. The stories were great, the tour through the neighborhoods was cool and we loved seeing the old architecture in the houses. Ben, our tour guide, is an excellent storyteller and really created a creepy atmosphere when sharing chilling ghost tales almost like he was playing a character. Well worth the two hour drive to Kingston. I would recommend checking it out.
Interesting tour with interesting stories told by excellent storyteller. She is very friendly.
I am visiting my friend here in Kingston and we both took the tour as a fun thing to do! It was so much fun and we are still talking about some of the stories our guide told! Our guide was so charismatic and funny! She knew when to make a joke or to be serious! She also knew so much history about the area and pointed out some really cool facts along the way! Highly recommend if you are visiting the area!
Connor was very knowledgeable and quite the story teller. Had a great time with the kids!
Victoria did a great job of sharing the haunted history of Downtown Kingston. She took us to historical areas of Kingston that I had never seen before and told stories of those stops and about other parts of Kingston. I would have liked a few minutes in the preamble talking about the history of Kingston and the importance of it's location along the St. Lawrence and in relation to Toronto.
It be nice if the guide would talk more about the history of the area as you walked, also a smaller group would be better as well!
I've been on the walk a couple times now and it's always a fun time. They add new stops and stories all the time.
Great experience! Lived in Kingston for years and never made time to go. We went last night, it was a great night out, learned some things about Kingston I never knew. Definitely worth doing!
We loved our experience with our guide Jessy. He really was entertaining, very knowledgeable and had fun and spooky stories. It was a great way to visit Kingston.
My family chose to do the Haunted Walk of Kingston last minute after a dinner downtown this past weekend. Having lived in Kingston most of our lives, and not knowing what to expect, we had a wonderful experience and learned a few things about Kingston we had not known previous. Our guide Jennifer was remarkably knowledgeable and scintillating as she made the walk one of our greatest experiences in Kingston to date. Someone should give Jennifer a raise!
My daughter and I had a lovely time - the host was very engaging and friendly and the stories were good, creepy fun. Best was the tour amongst so many old, beautiful Kingston neighbourhoods - highly recommend!
We took the Original Haunted Walk of Kingston with Ramira and had a fun a spooky time! A great way to see the city, learn a bit of history, and the Haunted Walk always has the best ghost stories around.
Great guide and stories! Something different and fun to do while in Kingston.
Very interesting to hear the stories.
Interesting stories, engaging host, wish it was a little more scary.
We joined this group tour coz there was nothing to do for the evening. It was disappointing.. Our story teller was boring.. but I liked her boots ☺️.. she narrated in a tone of someone reading a history book. After each stop, she would casually walk and laugh with guests, chat and talk about stuff not related to ghosts, which I think ruins the excitement of having that "frightening" experience. At the beginning of the tour, she encouraged us to ask questions. I asked her if she had experienced anything spooky in one of her tours, and she said nope.. she was afraid of ghosts.. wow!
It was very intertaining and casual. We had a great walk in the old Kingston area, where the houses are so beautiful and a few of very good ghost stories. Not to freightning, but very interesting.
It was a real unique experience. We were 3 friends who did the fort henry tour. I couldn't find the tour guide when I reached the parking spot and I called their number and the woman on the phone was the most helpful customer service I have ever received, she stayed on phone and navigated me until I reached the tour guide. The woman who leaded the tour was very interesting and really well versed in the topic. She accidentally spooked me which was a highlight for me. Overall a really good experience.
Signed up for the virtual Fort Langley Haunted Walk as it happens to be close to me. I had no idea we had such a rich and spooky history so close to home. The whole family enjoyed reading some popcorn and listening to spooky stories. We will def do this again.
Great outside time for the family, they use real history in their stories, which definitely ads to the experience
Had a great spooky evening with our tour guide “Jesse”. Donning his mask, cape and lantern guiding us through the darkened streets of Kingston, enlightening our group with hair raising tales of the paranormal and unexplained. Overall, the story telling was great as it was nice to get out and explore a city rich in Canadian history. If you’re looking for a fun night out in the dark, learning some unknowns, then sign up for a tour.
Fun stories, good service. Shout out to Jesse, he did a great job!
The tour was 90 minutes which was about 30 minutes too long. I wish their whole story line was a little more interesting.
So much fun to walk around and hear about the history of Kingston. Very knowledgeable guide and interesting ghost stories.
Elaine was exceptional, really enjoyed what she does which makes the experience that much more, had fun walking around and listening to the stories and accounts of whats happened in Kingston. Would highly recommend and would go again for sure!
fun experience for all ages and great a way to explore the city by foot in the summertime and understand the haunted history behind some of the city's older buildings. the walk is not scary at all and is suitable for young children.
Upper Canada Village walk - always fun to be had on the walk. Whether Kingston, Ottawa, and now the Village. Great stories, great presentation. Had a few group members sense "something" in a few of the buildings. Pretty cool.
We did the original Kingston walk and it left me feeling totally creeped out in the best way! Kingston is such a spooky place and this tour mixed the history and very recent tales. If you are lucky enough to get Zosha she is a Magical story teller, would definitely request! If you are going to Kingston you need to check this out.
Ramira started the tour with thanking First Nation people. She also had many different stories about the unfortunate events in and around Fort Henry. Ramira also asked at every end of her story if anyone had questions.
Amazing
Michelle was our guide really passionate and we had an awesome walk!!!!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept the audience motivated. A really great walk.
I highly recommend the haunted walk of fort henry. Our tour guide was Ramira (I apologize because I may have got your name wrong. I made a mental note to remember but it often doesn't work) The tour was informative, entertaining and just the right amount of spookiness. Ramira was knowledgeable and told the ghost stories in an engaging manner. I definitely would do this again.
Bought a ticket for the Haunted Walk virtual Campfire and was blown away by it! Excellent experience! Very well done and interesting - looking forward to the next one!
I really had a good time at the haunted walk. I am french and took a tour in english. My guide Richelle was very good and speaking clearly. The stories were interesting and I also learned more about Fort Henry's history! I highly suggest you to go if you visit Kingston!
The tour lacked enthusiasm to truly feel authentic. After the third or fourth spot of kids were not engaged. By the fifth spot neither were the adults. Story telling felt like a tape recorder.
Jesse was our tour guide, funny (not corny) and so very knowledgeable about the spooky ghost stories and dark history of Kingston! I am a local and hadn't been on the tour before and learned so much. Not to mention the gorgeous homes at night and touring around a walk in the city. Super neat!!!
Zosha is an amazing storyteller and made our haunted walking tour of Kingston a memorable night. I would recommend taking a walk through history with her any time!
Attended Campfire ghost stories online. It was great fun.
Had a blast
Fun combination of history and paranormal stories. Very enjoyable.
Interesting stories. Guide was great. Group size was perfect. Maybe have guides throw in Interesting tidbits of area while walking. Long dry pauses in-between stops
Colin started on time. He looked, dressed , & sounded like the part was made for him. Spoke clear, consise & sounded like a Brit of upper class. Colin was knowledgeable & up-to-date on the info & stories he was telling. He threw some wit in the stories & held our interest. He was very personable & answered questions.
We attended on a Monday night near the end of October and it was a great date night activity around Halloween. The stories that were told on the tour were really interesting and spooky. Between the ghost stories and learning a bit of Kingston history we thought we got good value for the experience. We also had an awesome guide, his storytelling technique kept both myself and partner engaged for the whole tour. If you are ever in Kingston and looking for a great activity to do, you can’t go wrong with this! We will definitely be doing other tours from The Haunted Walk.
Great experience! The private tour with a group of friends is a perfect night out. The stories were awesome and very engaging.
Had a fantastic time! Elaine was a great guide who was very knowledgeable and charasmatic! We had a small group so we were able to ask all our questions. Would definitely recommend the tour and if you can ask for Elaine!!!
(Translated) The absolute hammer is this city, clean, good food, friendly people (Original) Der absolute Hammer ist diese Stadt, sauber ,gutes Essen, freundlich Menschen
This was very informative as to the rich history Kingston has to offer. All the information on this tour as far as dates & location is fact checked through public records. Our tour guide Duane was very informative & took the time to answer any questions some of the guests have. The main thing you'll learn on this tour is that Kingston is one huge burial ground full of unmarked graves. I did have issue though.. Nothing really felt "Spooky" on this walk what so ever. I did have expectations about having some sort of "scary" element but there really wasn't. We did have some small children on our walk who were more interested in playing with their electronic device then listening to the guide just tell facts of things that happened & some of the people's claims to have seen, heard or felt ghostly shenanigans. The one thing I would like to suggest is that the speaker get more into character & make the stories at least sound more scary because nothing felt haunted at all. He could of told the same facts in a way that would at least sound somewhat scary but I didn't feel any effort went in to that. Bottom line is that if you're looking to know a little history about the area I'd suggest it. If you're looking for anything remotely spooky or haunted, you might want to skip it as the spirits of my wallet dishing out the cash are still haunting me..
I've attended several "Virtual Haunted Campfires" recently that have been put on by this company, and they've been fantastic! I always look forward to my Saturday night when I have one on the calendar. The storytellers are excellent and the presentations seem to go off without a hitch! Tech support has been very helpful as well. Love to hear spooky stories from near & far but particularly appreciate the Canadian ones. Nice work, everyone!
Basically an interesting and enjoyable historical walking tour of the city - fun time!
Thanks to Jesse for a great tour of Kingston!
Our guide was impressive with her knowledge of all the 'haunted happenings' in the area. While it would have been beyond amazing to encounter an actual spirit, the tour itself was a lot of fun! It was also a dark and gloomy night which added to the whole ambience of the event.
For $25 per person (totalling more than $100 for the family), we expected more than a memorized script from a guide who clearly wanted to be somewhere else. The few questions we asked were answered with, "if I knew, I would tell you". It would have been much better if we had a pre-recorded audio track.
Great loved it
We love the haunted walks of Kingston! We've done them numerous times and have enjoyed them every time. Great guides and great stories :)
My wife and I had a great time during our walk this weekend. Jesse our guide was informative and entertaining. Would definitely recommend for anyone that is looking for something to do that’s a little different.
So much fun to learn the history of places of haunting 's in Kingston, and how many burial sites there are in Kingston. The wind, and the moon and the lighting in the trees made for a very spooky tour. Loved it and highly recommend going on the Haunted Walk of Kingston, when visiting Kingston!
Kingston seems a little light on “haunting” stories compared to other places, but our guide (Maya) knew lots about the not-necessarily-spooky history of many of the beautiful homes on the route, which we were just as curious about. She was friendly and really willing to answer all our questions—and we asked lots! There were 10 in our party so we were able to book a private tour, which was an amazing deal and made the atmosphere very relaxed without having to worry about distancing amongst ourselves. It was a really fun evening out.
My "Original" Ghost Walk experience was just okay. Our tour guide's tone did not match the walk. They even mentioned at the beginning of our walk that they didn't like ghost stories (?), and they seemed like they were just reading off a script. Not only that, their tone seemed pretty flippant and distracted - even mentioning a cat that comes by to distract people by the Kingston courthouse or a random box of bunnies that showed up once on the tour. There is a lot of walking (felt like 60%) and the stories/history are more on the morbid side than anything. If you've done the Ghostly Walks in Victoria, BC, you'll likely get disappointed with this one. I certainly was.
Did the original walk in Kingston. The guide was great but I found the stories boring. Maybe that is because you don't go inside anything so it doesn't really feel spooky? Even the covid-reduced Fort Henry haunted walk was scarier.
It was amazing I love all the ghost stories in the pic is the Rosemont inn where the ghost of an old lady is
Go with the tours that happen after dark for the atmosphere. Tour guides are fun and informative
The tour guide was excellent and the information well researched. The history of Kingston was interesting and stories definitely haunting.
The walk was very informative but would have liked to see more visual of the places being mentioned in each story. Very GD tour otherwise
Fun way to learn about the city. Great experience.
Pretty and amazing!!
We had the pleasure of having Ms. Z guide around. She is very thorough in her stories and creates a atmosphere when telling the ghost stories. Very friendly and a bit adorable. Well done
It was windy and cold, but a great experience and would do it again in a heartbeat. Had a great guide Connor!
Haunted walk at Fort Henry was interesting. The tales are numerous, & a little unnerving. Ramera( I think was the lady's name) was very well versed. The full moon only added to the evening. Thank you
Great story telling and local lore thoughtfully crafted and spoken. Kingston shone like a jewel by our well polished guide. Great evening had by all.
Our guide Quinn was amazing. The stories are interesting, well told, and just enough spooky and funny at the same time. My 11-year-old twin boys were captivated throughout the whole walk. Even though they are French-speakers, it was so well presented that they understood perfectly. Congratulations to Quinn again!
The Haunted Walk is the best tour to see downtown Kingston's most notorious haunted buildings. The walk itself is not long. My favorite part was the alleyway hidden from the street view. They have a night tour so if your looking for something to do at night, book a tour. They are very prompt with timing so get there early.
We did the Haunted Fort tour during covid-19 and were very disappointed in the staff and the stories of what people "Might" have experienced. Also the website was very misleading as we didn't go into any tunnels and our guide was not a good story teller.
Loved it, such a great walk and so much to see
The haunted walk of Fort Henry was really enjoyable for our group, even socially distanced. Our guide, Michelle, was really knowledgable and full of great stories and information about the Fort. My daughters really got the Heebie Jeebies....
Happened to go during a Halloween event, which I thought would make it more spooky and exciting. Was I ever wrong. All it accomplished was breaking up the scary stories with "games" that ruined the mood. Also, I think we got unlucky with our guide, who didn't sound like he was telling scary stories, but instead sounded like he was reciting memorized facts. Overall a disappointing experience.
Liverpool Haunted Walk was fantastic! Lucy (AKA-Chiller Black-love the pun!) was very knowledgeable and a real pleasure to listen to. I'm looking forward to going to Liverpool and seeing all these places in person (especially the Necropolis.)
Well organized spookie walk, unfortunately mots of the stories were not scary at all. Good for the kids I guess. I might try the fort walk tho.
I find the whole tour like a exploring of Kingston downtown rather than exploring a Haunted walk . Though we felt a little bored talk, a new experience, Night walk, some old stories, made a day for us
I really liked Connor our guide for the night. He had a great telling voice and pace. Though I wished we could have visited the office where a lot of people experienced a shadow presence when you go down to the Low Fort on the right. And I would have wanted to visit the small corridors leading to the small cannons, but due to Covid it was closed. As a paranormal investigator, I would love to have a visit really tailored for this type of investigations like period of quiet so we can try to communicate to the spirits. Could that be possible in the Future please? Thanks!
My sister and I had a great time on our tour of haunted Kingston with our awesome tour guide Victoria!
Nice place traditional ????
I have in past (pre Covid) years I have taken more than one of Haunted Walks of Kingston's tours and was thoroughly pleased. With the pandemic those tours are postponed so instead they are now offering virtual events through Zoom in the form of ghost stories told by different storytellers, often by candle light...very eerie indeed! The stories are well researched and told with the same haunting tone as the walks were. An inexpensive and thoroughly enjoyable experience!
A very enjoyable experience. Learned so much of Kingston's past. Will definately be on the Agenda again next time we visit.
Michelle was an amazing guide! She was so thorough with information presented and followed up with several personal anecdotes! The tour was a great way to learn a little bit more about the history of the area. This place is definitely haunted!
The food was amazing and the scenery breath taking.
This was really awesome. Local spooky history and architecture, with a knowledgeable guide. Our guide Mia was great, she even heard us talking about the castle building off hand while walking to the next stop and gave us an impromptu history lesson on it. It's pretty fun to follow around someone in a cape and lantern around the city hearing ghost stories. It's a great way to see Kingston, even if you live here.
We attended a 7:00 tour by Ramira, she was amazing! everything about this walk was great, while walking through the Fort you’re told stories as you stand exactly where the accidents had happened. It makes the experience so much more exciting and intriguing, highly recommend doing a haunted walk, it was the best thing we did all weekend!
We had a great experience on this trip! The tour guide has excellent local knowledge and made for a fun experience.
2nd time doing this walk. We absolutely love it. A little history, a little spook and a little humour. Out in the fresh air for around 90 mins., can't complain really. Garreth was our tour guide and he was just awesome. Took his time telling the stories and answering any questions. went over and above to help out a member of our group with his motorized scooter that funny enough wasn't working during the tour but worked perfectly fine when it was done. Spooky? lol. To me it was worth the money and we were a family of 4!
(Translated) Nice evening with the family. The walk is more historic than haunting but interesting and entertaining. (Original) Belle soirée en famille.la marche est plus historique que hanter mais interessant et divertissent.
Loads of fun. Nice walk on a warm summer evening. Fun stories whether you choose to believe in ghosts or not.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Haunted Walk with our guide Chris. He was articulate, engaging, funny and a passionate story teller.
The haunted walk of Kingston -- both the downtown original and the Fort Henry walk -- are fantastic, family-friendly fun. I have done the Fort Henry tour with Connor and the downtown original walk with Mia, and I look forward to doing the tour again with family and friends. I highly recommend doing the tours at sunset if possible, but they are also excellent at night. Note that while both tours are fabulous, the Fort Henry walk is significantly more spooky!
It was a virtual zoom presentation, the topic was about the Halifax Citadel Ghost Tour. Very informative, the stories were fascinating, some were even scary. This is the third virtual ghost tour my wife and I do, and very interesting and will do again!!
So much fun! Informative and great exercise.
Did my first haunted walk last night - Sat March 6 - was awesome. The hosts were on the ball - the tech worked great! For the cost it was well worth it and after yesterday; I definitely plan to do more. The guest speaker was knowledgeable and really engaging and they also have slides/ pictures/ sample assets such as letters etc that go along with the chat. The virtual walk I did was the LIVE Virtual Haunted Campfire - Fort Langley. Again - def going to do more!
Too many stories about places not on the walk, Kingston Pen and skeleton park for example, and why mention places like the scariest hotel in Kingston, if you can’t mention it by name.
We’ve been on several different tours now in different cities. This tour was awesome! Our guide was very knowledgeable, and it was obvious she really enjoyed what she does. It was creepy and lived up to and surpassed our expectations. 10/10
If your into the paranormal, then you you have to attend the next time they put on a public event. Well worth the money, had an amazing time, look forward to the next public event!
Thanks for the extended Friday 13th tour. Cordelia was awesome (those stickers are wicked! and the goodies!). Loved the scavenger hunt (they aren't just for kids!). The history of that park is so unbelievable it didn't sink in until we did the hunt! Standing where hangings took place was very real. So was the bit about the Resurrectionists and the predicament of odd medical "school supplies". We need more raw and sometimes gruesome history! Nice job. Keep it up!
Our guide was Elaine she brought a lot of heart to her job and is extremely knowledgably of other areas of Kingston. We had a great time
(Translated) Super interesting visit, our guide was a good storyteller, the fort is impressive, nice to visit it when there is nobody else! Don't miss the podcast too! (Original) Visite super intéressante, notre guide était un bon conteur, le fort est impressionnant, agréable de le visiter alors qu il n y a personne d autres ! Il ne faut pas manquer le podcast aussi !
Christina was an awesome guide last Thursday night; she had a great storytelling voice and made the experience very interesting. Would recommend it to anyone looking to take a heritage walking tour with an edge!
We had Shaunna as a guide and learned so much about the various stops along the way.
Interesting tour, Karen was a great host / tour guide
Had a good time. Wish they stopped at more places.
It was an interesting way to see Fort Henry and learn some history of the fort.
Awesome way to see the city at night, all the fabulous architecture and limestone buildings, and hear about stories of old! Put on your walking shoes!
Went on a week night during the quieter end of the season and was not disappointed. Great ghost stories paired with some lovely buildings made my evening. Our guide Abby-Lee kept the spirit going and is a fantastic story teller. A worthwhile experience while in Kingston!
LOVE the Virtual Haunted Campfires! We've attended most of them and they are exceptional. Tonight's campfire had us visiting Fort Langley in BC and it was fantastic. The stories and storyteller was amazing; had us spellbound the entire time. Historical, chilling, gruesome, it was everything you could ask for. It's our Saturday night "date" night; spooky stories and a pizza! Highly, highly recommend.
My girlfriend and I had an absolute blast! Shawna (hope I spelled that right!) was our tour guide and she was fantastic. Highly recommend!
The Fort Henry haunted walk was interesting and thorough. I wouldn't recommend these walks if you are actually hoping to be scared though, as the walks have more of a comical/entertaining atmosphere in my opinion. The walk still took our group to some spooky spots though, like the dank tunnels underneath the fort. Our guide was friendly and recited his stories well. The tour was just the right length of time to show the interesting parts of the fort without things getting boring. The only complaint I have about this walk specifically is that I think there needs to be better signage letting visitors know where to go (maybe an additional sign out on the road directing visitors to the path). As someone who has never been to Fort Henry before, it was hard to figure out where to go to meet up with the guide.
Tour was fantastic! Our guide, India, was extremely well spoken and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend taking the walk!
The ghost stories are fun but not scary. It was more interesting learning little tidbits of history about downtown Kingston. The downtown walk is more interesting than the Fort Henry walk.
I love the Haunted Walks Campfires! Great speakers with loads of fun, history, and haunted tales of mystery. Love it!
It was a dark and dreary November evening. Shauna had great stories. The 90 minute tour seemed like 30. Highly recommend. Not from Kingston but learned alot of interesting history as well as some great stories. Thanks Shauna!
This was a our first Haunted walk and it was great despite thebwrather but it fit the atmosphere....Jesse the guide was very knowledged and had great energy. The only thing we felt was that the walk itself should a little longer and a little scarier somehow...this experience has definitely encouraged us to visit the Ottawa Haunted walk and maybe do some of our own haunted walks
I love The Haunted Walk tours! I just went on the Ghosts of Fort Henry tour and I had such a great time! Our guide Victoria was so good at telling the various stories and I thought that the areas that we got to see/learn about were amazing. What I also enjoyed on this tour in particular was the level of group participation. Because of Covid, we couldn't enter the rooms as a group because of social distancing so Victoria let each member go into the room for a few moments to get a glimpse at what she was going to be talking about before we went back into the parade square to listen to the stories. After she told her stories, she allowed us to go back into the rooms for a few moments to try 'experiments' that she spoke about. She talked about the Ghost Hunter's visit to the fort and allowed us to go into one of the rooms and try the tapping on the glass experiment that the investigators did. She then let us go into the bakery and say goodbye to one of the spirits that she said haunted that room. I thought that even though the tour was altered because of the pandemic she did a great job in ensuring that the tour was fun and interactive. It was a great night overall and I will continue to do many Haunted Walk tours in the future! I would rate 10 stars if I could!
The experience was awesome, scary tales at Fort Henry, at nigth with a great guide, me and my kids, all family loved, is so interesting we lost time sense. Fort Henry is the perfect place for this adventure, we really enjoyed it!
This was my second time going to the Haunted Walk! Super exciting! Michelle was our tour guide and she was awesome! Loved how she shared her personal experiences throughout the tour—she certainly made the walk much more authentically haunted!
Went this past weekend with my wife and daughter. We’ve been to the Ottawa haunted walk and the one at Fort Henry and Upper Canada Village. This was our first in Kingston and it didn’t disappoint. Our guide Quinn was amazing. Never knew that Kingston is basically one big burial ground. Creepy. And standing where the old jail was in the parking lot and having him tell us that there’s bodies buried under there. Very creepy. Will have to stay at one of the bed and breakfasts next time!
A really atmospheric walk around Kingston, as it was my first time in the city it was lovely seeing some of the lesser known sites at dusk, as well as hearing about some spooky, and some funny, local history. Our tour guide, Michelle, clearly enjoyed her job, and was very entertaining and enthusiastic throughout.
Zoucha was a fantastic tour guide and very spooky and animated story teller . The history behind the locations were interesting and I found myself googling names and places once I got home . The only reason I removed 1 star was because I felt a look inside some locations may have added an element of the "strange and unexplained" . It was well worth the drive from Toronto to Kingston
We really enjoyed the virtual campfire stories. Watched the Halifax one tonight and loved hearing the history and stories from our own city. ❤️ Well done on both ends! Will definitely be doing more
The experience was good but the walk was too long in a bad weather
Virtual haunted walks are fantastic!
We did the original Haunted Walk of Kingston and absolutely loved it! Our guide/storyteller Maya was so knowledgeable and really brought the stories to life! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for a fun way to tour the city!
We did the 90-minute tour with our fantastic guide, Elaine … a great story-teller (and a great sense of humour!) … the tour exceeded our expectations and was a fun way to spend the evening! Highly recommend (ask for Elaine if you can!)
My husband and I had an amazing time during the walk. A little bit pricey but our tour guide really got us into the stories, clear and easy to hear. We were never bored. We even believe we encountered a bit of a paranormal encounter during the tour which was awesome. Extra points for even seeing paranormal investigators during it. 5 stars for entertainment but I'm giving it a 4 just because it could of been slightly cheaper.
We did the Kingston tour on Friday evening and had a great experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and we learned a lot about the city in which we live. Would definitely recommend this as a fun activity.
A perfect evening to stroll the streets of Kingston with our fabulous tour guide Victoria, and learn the myriad of haunted stories from this classic town. Book this tour in for your next Kingston adventure- great social distancing set up as well! Many Thanks for a memorable night out!
Thank you Curtis for an enjoyable walk and some very interesting stories along the route. Suitable for all ages. Took just over an hour. (Met some great people that were on the walk).
A delightful evening! Our guide was a very gifted storyteller. We have spent many years in Kingston, and nonetheless, we learned new things that evening. The booking & confirmation follow-up was very professional and responsive. A terrific, unique way to see historic Kingston! Highly recommended!
The tour itself is ok - essentially a walk around the neighbourhood with the guide telling you ghost stories about each location whilst standing outside. It’s expensive for what it actually is though, wouldn’t do another one for the price.
Was entertaining for the most part. Walks to locations were a little long. The tales were good, Entering some of the homes /hotels would have been a better scare factor. Over all was a fun night. Some electronic pics on a smart phone app regarding the locations would be cool . I’m talking historical pics or modern.
Although we had some buffering issues for the first 2 or three minutes it was worth the wait. We enjoyed the content very much and now want to go do a tour in person. Very entertaining.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
(Translated) Virtual Haunted Campfire. I loved! Have me tell ghost stories from the comfort of my living room in addition to historical facts. Great! (Original) Virtual Haunted Campfire. J'ai adoré! Me faire raconter des histoires de fantômes dans le confort de mon salon en plus de faits historiques. Super!
Tour guide Jessie very informative, the stories of the buildings history were interesting to hear. It was worth the money and the walk was a good distance to not get tired out.
My daughter and I have done the haunted walk of kingston, we also just finished the Fort Henry haunted tour and I have to say Conner was great very informative and left my daughter and I with chills. Will be going back again when the tunnels are open after covid. Would recommend it to every one. Not to mention how spooky it is with the little ghost being named the same as me.
Jessie was an awesome tour guide and gave us a great tour. He was very entertaining. Knowledgeable and fun.
Our guide Chris was excellent and we enjoyed the tour of Kingston and the ghost stories.
Highly recommend it: the tour was great. Kingston is even prettier at night than during the day. Our tour guide Romina was knowledgeable of the Kingston’s ghost past and was very cheerful and pleasant. Haunted walk of Kingston is an absolute must do for those into all the spooky stuff.
Cameron was an awesome guide, he did a fantastic job with his stories and setting a tonearm! Fort Henry is a very cool and creepy place, especially at night, will definitely be recommending to others!
The tour sounded like a below average podcast leaning more towards a lecture. We didn't get see many interesting locations. It was mostly outside and only a couple rooms were given access to be walked in. It was not scary at all even though they recommended this is not for young children and not for adults who are faint of heart. There was no reason to state a restriction because the details weren't even gory. There were absolutely no jump scares or any special effects which could have made the tour more interesting. It wasn't worth the amount of money my group paid for. They could have used some bit of money from the profits to invest in a well thought out entertainment system for the audience. It was an absolute waste of money. If you enjoy listening to lectures then this might be for you but this felt more like school work then entertainment. We went to the 9:30pm tour of Ghosts of Fort Henry. We paid $120+ tax for 4 people. Would not recommend this.
This was a very interesting and fascinating tour! Dina was our tour guide, we went on the 9pm tour which was led by a lantern, now to me this tour was spooky as it was dark and she had great stories. Loved learning the history and facts about Kingston! I've added a picture from our tour.. one without my circle of what I see as well as my family sees and the one with the circle.. I believe we definitely caught something on camera. It was at the Rosemount Inn on the balcony...Thank you very much for the great experience!
Jesse was a great tour guide and made the walk very interesting. I would recommend this tour to anyone
Victoria was knowledgeable in the content and very good at story telling.
Rachelle was an amazing tour guide!!! Not only did she tell us ghost stories, and had information about the architecture of the city as well! Well worth going to Kingston!
Great tour through the history and haunting of Kingston! Fabulous stories that keep you interested throughout, presented (in our tour at least) by a well-spoken, tiny little tour guide. India kept us on our toes throughout, and we enjoyed our tour immensely! We took the late tour, and had time to finish with a drink at the pub adjacent to the Haunted Walk tour office. Great tour, great guide, highly recommended
Excellent tour
Our guide Jessie was really friendly, informative and a great story teller. He guided through Kingstons spooky past. Thanks.
Our guide Connor was very knowledgeable and the way he spoke made the tour very interesting and characteristic. Very well done, definitely worth doing!
Excellent tour with great information. Just enough ghost stories mixed in with facts.
Our guide Maya was awesome. The way she tells the story really gets you into the mood. We had 3 childrens with us and she was super understanding and tried as much as she could to speak French with them. The tour itself is awesome. You learn so many creepy things about Kingston and the surroundings. The length of the tour is perfect not too long but not short at the same time. You can ask all the questions you want and they always have an answer for you. A+ service.
Great Tour!! Wonderful guide!
Victoria was a wonderful guide. I not only enjoyed her stories but the walk itself. Cool night, spooky moon and beautiful neighbourhoods made for an enjoyable evening. The cat did not steal her thunder....it was cute though. Keep up the fabulous work. I’ll definitely be back
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and it was a great walk
Great experience & lots of fun!
We had a great night for the walk, and our guide was very professional. I understand that the tour route was altered due to spacing requirements during Covid-19 restrictions, but I think we missed some locations and stories. All in all, a very good night!
This tour did not disappoint! Our guide, Connor, did an amazing job telling the stories. We had an excellent overall experience!
This was a super fun and informative tour! Our tour leader Jesse was awesome and we are definitely going to do another tour with the Haunted Walk!
I enjoyed the historical building and stories. It wasn’t spooky enough?
Our tour guide, Jessie, was a very good story teller and a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable about the history (both normal and paranormal) with the opportunity to ask plenty of questions! Highly recommended!
These are a series of virtual haunted story-telling sessions. I loved it. It was a nice mix of history and ghost stories that really gave a flavour for what life must of been like I viewed the Haunted Fort Langley Fireside Chat and I will be signing up for more. These are done online and you can watch them live or watch the recording later. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the online set up is easy to access. I look forward to the ghost stories of Northern Ontario.
This was a fun and instructive way to explore Kingston. The homes and businesses portrayed, as well as, their "inhabitants" were really entertaining. Our guide was warm and friendly and enjoyed telling the stories. It was a wonderful part of our trip to Kingston.
Loved the tour! The tour guide made it very exciting and interesting!
had a great tour with Michelle
Did the walking tour tonight and had a great time! Our guide, Jesse, was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun! Highly recommend this excursion!
A nice way to discover Kingston at night ! Our guide, Jesse was a great story teller and entertainer ! 100% recommend
I attended the Halifax Citadel campfire virtually- what a great experience!! I also had some technical issues when trying to book my tickets and the staff responded almost immediately and got everything sorted out. Excellent customer service and a great virtual event!
The walk was good and well presented. Our guide was a good story teller and made it interesting. My only negative was the stories were a little one dimensional and thought they would be a little more in depth and haunting. But still this doesn't take away from the walk. Still a good experience.
Selena did an outstanding job really explaining each story in great detail! Would definitely recommend to experience it for yourself.
We had an amazing time at Fort Henry. The staff was very professional and overall we couldn't be happier with the experience. I recommend going with people you know to ensure you have the best experience possible. Go in with an open mind and have fun.
The walk is very interesting. Places I never knew existed in Kingston. The distance between sites is far at times. The walking pace is quite quick. Wish there were more sites on the tour. Two were really creepy. Really enjoyed it, we will be back!
Had an absolute blast exploring Fort Henry! Our guide Maya was lovely and the tour was super fun and engaging. Will absolutely book more with them!
The Hainted Walk at Fort He Roy was phenomenal. Our guide Elaine was fun to listen to, knowledgeable and entertaining. My husband and I had a great time. Thanks
When I called to inquire about purchasing tickets, they were kind enough to open up a new time slot for me and my group- very accommodating! Our guide, India, was an excellent story teller! Very informative and intriguing. She made this a fabulous experience for us ????. I highly recommend this company- it’s worth the time and cost!!
We had the pleasure of taking the Haunted Walk at Fort Henry with Victoria. She did an amazing job spooking everyone with her tales of terror. She did such a good job she spooked herself and we all nearly bolted for the door. Highly recommend by a family of 7, including 3 teens.
Nolan was a fantastic tour guide! He was very engaging and a great story teller! It was certainly an amazing experience!
Really great experience! Maya was our tour guide and the way she told the stories was amazing.
Found the guide Jesse very good at his trade Kept people interested in his story telling Thanks
We booked the kingston haunted walk. We had the 830 tour. It was Great! Cameron our guide did a wonderful job and told us a lot of interesting facts! Highly recommend!
We did the haunted walk down town Kingston with our guide Tiz. last night June 30 2019 at 9:00 pm while an interesting walk around town it was a bit of an unexpected let down. Let me clarify it was very informative about the rich history of Kingston and the goings on over the years! Tiz did a good job of telling the tour about the happenings around town ( but needs to add a spookiness to his delivery and it would give the creep factor a boost) Haunted ? maybe we had a cat meowing behind us several times over a 3 block area yet no cat insight and at the old prison yard where the hangings took place there was the smell of cigar or pipe tobacco near us, and no one smoking! and just in the area of the our group.Nobody near us to be from elsewhere, just myself and wife smelled it as it was just near us Hmm a spirit?maybe but not from a passer by that was for sure! More of an informative walk than haunted but still well done !!!
Maya was our tour guide and did a great job! Her stories had just enough of a creepy factor, the locations we went to were full of history and were beautiful old buildings in downtown Kingston, would recommend! Would also do this one at night as it adds to the experience.
We did the small group investigation with Phantoms Of Yore on September 26th. It was fantastic! Fort Henry being as big as it is lends for some interesting sights and sounds. I would absolutely go back for the Haunted Walk!
I had an amazing tour of the Fort Henry with Mya as a tour guide. It was a great time with lots of spooky stories.
For those whom have never done the Haunted walk i highly recommend. Our guide whos name was Jessie i beleive was super friendly and got the tour started on time. He was very knowledgeable and just made the whole experience enjoyable. This was my second time doing it and would do it again in a heartbeat.
I’m sorry to say I found our experience very disappointing. You should check out what they do to liven it up by attending a ghost walk in Quebec City. It was awesome.
Cameron was a great guide. He seemed very informative and knew what he was talking about. He was also very funny at times. Great job! Thank you!
Jade was our guide in Kingston last night. She was great! Wonderful guide, excellent communication with all guests, and gave an amazing, interesting tour. We explored areas of Kingston we have never been before (and have been to Kingston about 100 times), learned more about local history, and definitely some creepy stories. Highly recommend!!
The tour guide was good, however the tour consisted of 15-20 minutes of stories and 45-50 minutes of extremely slow walking.
The walk is 30 dollars which seems expensive! Our tour guide speed walked us through our tour I’m 60 and a one point I had to remind him half of our group was the same . Our tour was cut short because of Covid some of the original tour was dropped no reduction in pricing . 9 people in our group at 30 dollars 270 dollars for 45 minutes on a tour posted at 1.15 . Not impressed would not recommend!!!
I had a great tour and tour guide and highly recommend her and her name is Michelle.
Great way to have fun night with your family.
Very fun evening! Lots of spooky stories and history of Kingston.
Me and my husband did the 90 minute tour with Angela. The weather wasn’t great as it was freezing cold but Angela made the stories so interesting that we ended up staying the entire time. The stories are very intriguing; a lot of history happening in Kingston. Definitely recommend it to others. The overall walk is around 2kms, returning back near where you start. Great experience!
We did the haunted trolly tour of kingston. The guide was very knowledgeable and very easy to listen too. We expected a little more scare for tour but overall a great night and worth it wether your a local or a tourist
it was the most borring tour..wast of time and money.. i saw the fort henry tour very nice but the hunted walk its a steel of money..
I enjoyed the walk around Downtown Kingston at night but I found the stories on this tour lacked something. A few stories were told that had no connection the locations we were taken to. It was just a nice walk that I could have done on my own.
Enjoyed the tour. Appreciated Cameron’s enthusiasm and humour.
The haunted walk of Kingston was a fantastic experience!! Our tour guide Jessie was amazing and charismatic. The architecture was gorgeous and perfect for the Halloween season. Fun and safe activity during covid!
Great tour with Tiz. Very interesting. Also did the Fort Henry with Maya. Interesting as well and a bit more scarier.
Shaunessy was an excellent guide and very informative. Fun night out and nice tour of the neighbourhood surrounding downtown. The walking pace was brisk but adjusted and slowed down for one of our party. The stories were entertaining and spooky enough to give you a small shiver. Highly recommend and worth the price.
I booked the tickets through Morgan over the phone. She was so friendly and very helpful. Morgan was very bubbly even over the phone. I went to the walk of Fort Henry August 18th at 2100. Pascal was the tour guide. I went with a group of 6. Pascal made the tour fun, and engaging. She did such a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend asking for her if anyone books a tour. Pascal has a great personality for this job, and wonderful public speaking skills. I love doing the haunted walks, cant wait to do them again. Thank you for providing a great experience for me and my family.
We had an awesome experience with Phantom of Yore and haunted walk tour host. Some great experience happening over the course of the evening and some fantastic captures as well! Just going through our own review of evidence we are amazed!! Always an adventure when we pare with Phantoms of Yore!
It was a fun adventure. Our guide shared alot of interesting stories and history of kingston.
Spooky but very annoying people on tour
Interesting walk, it's nice to learn about the different things that have happened in Kingston.
Jesse was very knowledgeable and a great guide! Would recommend the Haunted Walk as a great activity for those just visiting or for people that live in Kingston
We recently took part in The Haunted Walk of Kingston Tour and were amazed at how knowledgeable our tour guide was. We were her last tour, as she was heading off to university in Toronto and she certainly made it well worth it. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a little more history of Kingston!
My family had a good time. It was a fun experience, nothing really scary or freaky but our guide Jesse kept it entertaining.
This was our first experience of an online haunted walk tour, and the host Lucy really made the stories come alive. She is very knowledgeable about Liverpool's history, and provided an entertaining experience.
Had a great tour with Michelle for a friends socially distanced birthday. She made the whole experience very special went out of her way to add stories, historical facts and fun tidbits to keep us entertained. Would highly recommend!
We are long time residents of Kingston and loved this tour! I can't wait to look into some of these spooky locations further! Great way to get a bit of a feel for the city and see it as in was in years past... by lamp light and the old style street lights of downtown.
The experience of the walk was very interesting. The young man was informative and his tour sounded off the cuff even though it was a "script". His voice was loud and pronunciation clear as he retold events of the past. The thing that stuck out first and foremost in my mind was the attentive way he kept track of his group. Even as we crossed the road, he kept an eye on us and waited until we were all together before continuing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in the history of the older buildings in Kingston and the stories behind them
Had an excellent Haunted Walk through downtown Kingston with our guide, Jesse. He was very knowledgeable on Kingston's history as well as Kingston's current events. Very entertaining!
Great tour of historic Kingston. The tour guide was very accommodating to us with young kids.
Amazing experience
We had a private tour because the other group had to cancel. We had a great tour around the city, even though the weather was drizzly, and got a heap of info about historic Kingston and its spooky past! We did a Haunted Walk in Ottawa that we really enjoyed, and so we wanted to do Kingston since it's the same tour company. We had fun!
I have done quite a few of the haunted campfire virtual stuff in the last while since I am in Toronto and we’re still in gray zone. They are always fun usually have good spooky stories. I’m sad that they are not continuing this service. But will be ending in a couple of weeks. I would love to see this is a year-round service now.
Every experience we have had on the haunted walks have been fabulous. The guides are always engaging and informative...walks aren't too spooky for younger children.
I have been wanting to do this tour for years now! The tour of the area was amazing to see just on its own, kingston has some of the most beautiful architecture in ontario. The haunted stories and historic information was so much fun. I brought my 12 and 13yr old kids, worried they wouldn't enjoy it as much as the adults, but they were entertained for the whole duration of the walk. Our tour guide was friendly, she spoke loud and clear so everyone could hear her. I enjoyed this very much and look forward to my next tour!
We went on the Haunted Walk of Kingston 15 years ago and this time around it was better then we remembered it! Jax our tour guide was fantastic she had great knowledge of the area and the stories and was a great story teller! I would 100% recommend this tour and if you can get Jax that's an even bigger bonus as she was great.
Our guide Mia was excellent. Her wardrobe in black with an old lamp, recalls a young sorceress, which facilitates the immersion in what will come next. Mia was amazing at telling old histories related to Kingston. An excellent activity to do something different as a family.
Rachelle was awesome. It is amazing how much she can remember and how many great stories she told us about Fort Henry. My family had a great time and wiuld recommend this tour too everyone. Thanks Rachelle for doing an amazing job.
