Wasted time and money. The barbecue is very slow and boat takes forever to come back and once you jump in water, not easy for kids to hop back as stairs are not metal but a hanging rope. Not safe as well. I do not recommend this

First time trying out a BBQ boat! The service we received from Maeg and her team was very good. It was fun and if I bring people to town will definitely suggest this activity. Things you should know: Given this boat literally has a flaming barbecue in the center and is shaped like a circle safety briefing and briefing overall on how to operate the boat takes a considerable amount of time. The standard booking time is for 2 hours, but I strongly recommend booking an additional hour. This way you don't have to feel rushed trying to manage keeping the electric boat off while cooking and the gas off while moving! The boat also takes about 20m to get back to the dock and isn't intended to move too quick, haha! There is no cover on the boat due to Transport regulations! So the earlier time is actually perfect. The BBQ and boat were so clean.

Celebrated my buddies bachelor party on the bbq boat and everyone really enjoyed it. Great customer service. Convenient location right downtown at the waterfront right in the middle of the action. Maegan and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be returning. Would recommend for all ages.

Took a vacation in Kelowna last summer with some friends and family and we had to try this bbq boat thing I heard of. Well we were not disappointed! Stunning location, you get to cook your fav meat in the middle of the lake, the staff is incredible, and the weather is always to nice there! I definitely recommend that to everybody going to Kelowna!

8 of us went out on Maeg's BBQ boat for a couple of hours to start off a bachelor party. The boat fit all of us comfortably and we were able to easily chat, swim, and cook up sausages. Maeg and her crew were all very nice and we were super happy to be able to support her entrepreneurial operations. Everyone in the group was very happy with the experience. Would recommend trying this out! It was a good was to get out on the lake without spending a fortune.

It was really nice and Maegan was a great hostess. It was 8 of us altogether and was waay better than expected. I would recommend the 2 hour boat rental since you can bbq and lead the boat yourself for the 2 hours.

Great time! Really cool and fun boats. It's rare to find customer service these days , meag has it down to a T. Boats were spacious and very unique. We drove the boat ourselves and had them give us the lessons on how it operates. Everyone really enjoyed themselves , we will be back.

We had a very positive experience with the 45 minute barbecue boat tour several days ago. For those interested, the barbecue boat is round in shape (think of a very large tubing boat, but much, much sturdier and with proper seating for everyone) with a small barbecue in the centre and can comfortably sit ~10 people (this is just my own estimate based on how many people were on our boat for the tour - ask the company for the exact specifications). Our guide, Grey, was incredibly funny and knowledgeable about the Kelowna area, with lots of interesting facts, history, and stories about the area. He clearly has a lot of enthusiasm for his job and strives to engage with all his passengers to ensure they have a good time. Overall, the tour was a short and sweet way to pass time on a cloudy afternoon out on the water while sharing good laughs with everyone and learning neat new facts about the Kelowna area. Thank you for a great afternoon Grey! You’re doing great. :)

Had a Great experience there with friends! Staff was super nice, friendly and helpful. The round boats have radio/speakers on them too in case you wanna play music. We spent about two hours with the boat, went half hour away from the marina, swam there with our life jackets on, beware, it's kinda hard to get back on the boat once you are swimming in the lake, always have someone on the boat to give you a hand! We had yummy BBQ, everyone around us on yatchs and jetskis said hi, had amazing time. Would definitely recommend.

Wicked time on the BBQ boat. Great tour with Lauren. I think this is a great option for all ages and events. We didn't have a ton of time so we opted for the tour instead of the rental but next time we will rent and drive ourselves. Great bang for your buck and a memorable experience. Cheers

Family friendly boat rental at a very fair price. Excellent location off the boardwalk of dt Kelowna. We walked from our hotel (delta) and had a lovely afternoon on the water. We had young kids and my parents as well and it suited everyone’s needs. Very neat having your meal in the middle of the lake. Ladder was great to be able to swim. I was on vacation with my sister and mom, visiting the Okanagan Lake. We really wanted to get out on the lake and we saw Maegans boat rentals, and thought what a wonderful idea. Maegan is one amazing woman! She was incredibly friendly and made our experience that much better. She took us out for a tour of the lake and chatted up a storm. Not only did she drive the boat for us, but she's also a great photographer, taking pictures of all of us to remember the good times haha. You can truly tell she's passionate about her work and wants everyone to enjoy their trip. We had so much fun, that we came back the next day for round 2. Thank you so much Maegan! I highly recommend anyone to take a ride on these boats, great way to get out on the water and enjoy.

Rented Maeg's BBQ boat for a couples outing this past summer. Was one of the best days I can remember. I must say, Maegan Renner, the owner, is the sweetest person you could ever hope to encounter. Very knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, helpful and a very savvy business owner. She also know a lot about Kelowna and is full of tips and ideas on how to spend your time. Can't wait to go back. This will definitely become a year after year expedition. Can't praise it enough.

We are from Ontario and saw the Bbq boats on Facebook and Instagram and couldn't wait to try them out. We had an awesome experience, it was the perfect way to take in incredible sites of Kelowna and okanagan lake. The concept is so unique! Very spacious and has all the bells and whistles. The ladder was great to be able to pop in and out of the boat for a nice swim. We had tunes going with the blue-tooth - it has the option for radio and aux cord as well. The big circular table captured the moments and really included everyone as well as allowed us to watch our meal be prepared on the bbq. Not your average boat-so much better!!! A very memorable and fun experience. Great customer service. A must do!!! We will be back next spring with our parents!

Booked the tour for 4 people in advance and was told that the maximum occupancy would be 6 people (due to coronavirus). When we got there to do the tour they told us that there were 2 groups at the same time and that we were going with a total of 12 people in the same boat (website says max is 10 people). Really disappointed and shocked that they are allowing that many people with the COVID-19 situation. We canceled and got a refund.

Price meets value with Maegan’s bbq boat rentals. Megan was lovely. It was awesome and the weather was perfect. My friends and I had a great time on her boat. The rates are also very affordable. I will definitely come back and do a 2 hr bbq rental for the next time.

Nine of us rented the BBQ boat/tube for 2 hours. It was great fun; we BBQ'd our lunch, explored the lake a bit (Transportation Canada limits the area that you can move in), and then stopped for a refreshing swim. Highly recommended!

My mother & brother from Malaysia visited last summer & we had a great picnic on the lake with mama''s food. We spent 2 hours eating & sight seeing & catching up on news. Something about being close to water brings people closer. Maeg the owner is highly efficient, friendly and effervescent. Beautiful country.

I went to Kelowna for the first time and I saw this beautiful vessel moored up and I knew that I had to try it wow what a time I was up for the weekend and didn’t have much time I needed to cook and I wanted to explore the lake this was a great option maegan was lovely and I had a great Chaufer named Kevin renner and we had quite a time he told me great story’s and really knew a lot of history about the lake and the city I would say this is the best tourism option in all of Kelowna or Canada as far as I’m concerned
