Joe took us on the wine tour of a lifetime! We got to taste great wines, learn all about them and the process to make them. We saw deer, a double rainbow, and a wedding ceremony all in the span of a few hours. It was so vivid, and beautiful. Oh my god.We could not have asked for a better experience, and Joe was a great host for all of it! We could not be happier with how it all turned out- Thanks Joe!

We had an amazing time with Joe. He was very knowledgable and super accommodating. He changed up our winery schedule based on requests that we had. He wanted to make sure we hit wineries we really wanted to go to. By far the best guide we've had in Kelowna! He was very prepared, we always had a table for wine tasting upon arrival. He never rushed us and told us to take our time. He had bottled water readily available in the van for us as well. We asked him a lot of questions throughout the day and he always had an answer! We not only had an amazing time, we learned a lot about wines as well. We called him our "wine dad" for the day. He took really good care of us and made sure we had a great time. I would highly highly recommend booking a tour with City and Wine Tours!

Hands down one of the best wine tour company out in the Okanagan. Went with Joe last year for a wine tasting last summer. His vehicle is extremely reliable and comfortable. Joe is by far the best tour guide I have had the pleasure of riding with over my many years of taking wine tours in the area! I first met Joe last year when my mother and I signed up for a tour. And due to a cancellation it was just my mother and I in the van, so we basically had our own private tour! We had such a blast and it was nice to get to know him a bit better, since there were less people with us, there was more time for chatting with the three of us. Through our conversations, we realized that Joe has worked in almost every aspect of the wine industry, so he is extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything we wanted to know about wine! He really did choose the best wineries to visit and we never felt rushed during the tastings, but always managed to stay on schedule! This year we booked with him again without a question! And just as we expected, had another great experience! We always love the wineries he chooses, and his easygoing demeanor. He always has the answers to our questions and makes the tour interesting for all guests! If you want to go on a wine tour in the Okanagan, go with Joe, you won't regret it! p.s. he is a great photographer and he even lets you play your own music in the van!

A group of my girlfriends and I came to Kelowna for the weekend and decided to book a wine tour with City and Wine Tours based on the amazing google reviews we saw. We were definitely not disappointed. Wine dad Joe picked us up, brought us around and showed us the best time! He made sure our itinerary included all the wineries we wanted to see and even went above and beyond in changing our lunch reservations. Joe was fantastic, he is also a sommelier, and grows his own grapes. He had extensive knowledge on wine making and wasn’t afraid to share. Would 100% recommend Wine dad Joe at City and Wine tours to anyone else looking to do a wine tour with the coolest guide.

This tour was ok. Typically tours would educate you on the wineries, how wine is made and how wines differ from one another. It becomes a real experience. It just felt like we were shuttled from place to place. The staff at the wineries rush through the samples which was unfortunate. The pours were also very small. Mission Hill restaurant (where our scheduled lunch was) was very expensive and the bottles of wine we had just sampled and wanted for lunch were 3x the selling price. Just happy our guide was willing to take us to the next winery (Volcanic something) and lunch was amazing there and cost was way more reasonable. Our guide Murray was very friendly and showed us around Kelowna as well. He gave us as much time as we needed at each stop and was very accommodating throughout the tour.

We had so much fun with the wine tour! Tour guide Joe is humorous, and he has lots of wine knowledge. We love the lunch location and the wineries he selected, and the whole tour was well-planned. Definitely will join the tour again for another wine region!

Average wine tour. I would only recommend 2 of the 5 wineries, Thornhaven and Off the Grid. The other 3 wineries were big winneries with wines you can purchase anywhere. Lunch was disappointing. We didnt eat at a winery. We ate at a restaurant in town that was mediocare. It was a missed opportunity to eat at a beautiful winery.

My friends and I booked a wine tour with Joe and we had a really great time! It was the first time for all of us and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Because our group was so big (there were 7 of us), it ended up being a private tour which was nice. Also, Joe made sure that we didn’t feel rushed at each winery and even took group pictures for us. I was especially grateful when I realized I had left my phone in his van and he willingly offered to drop it off! Our tour guide and driver, Joe, was super friendly and knowlegable. He was able to answer any questions we had and even took us to an extra winery, as we were running a bit ahead of schedule. At the end of the day he dropped us off downtown and personally delivered the wine we had purchased to our hotel the next morning. Overall, a really fun, informative, relaxed, and enjoyable experience.

It was my groups first winery tour and Joe gave us the best experience we could’ve asked for! It went above and beyond all of our expectations (which were already set pretty high!). Joe was very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made us feel very comfortable and did not make us feel like we were pressed with time. The fact he also was more than happy to take (a lot) of photos our group was a huge plus! You can tell he is very passionate about his job. After days of trying to find a wine tour for a birthday celebration, I stumbled across City and Wine tours - Right away Joe was quick to arrange / accommodate our group on our first wine tour. He was super friendly, witty, and more than full of knowledge - Even employees were stumped on questions he could only answer. We had a bit of a mishap during our lunch and Joe went above and beyond ensuring our trip was not ruined. Ladies - He is also a very good photographer and will get you multiple shots at every angle! Book this tour with Joe! you will NOT regret it!

We signed up for this tour in July and our actual date of tour was August 6th 2018. Joe was a fantastic tour guide that helped us enjoy the 5 hour Kelowna wine tour (he breaks down the different wine tours available on his website). Joe has been in the industry for quite a number of years and is so knowledgeable to the point where he would enlighten us on some grapes that the different vineyards may have failed to mention. He also asked what type of wine we liked and recommended some of his faves and always backed up with a “why” of the recommendation. Joe knows how the wine tours in Kelowna operate and that means he strategically mapped out the tour so that we wouldn’t encounter traffic in some vineyards; The traffic gets crazy especially in summer (thanks for looking out for us on this). I recommended City and Wine Tours to my friends and I hope that we’ll be back someday to do the West Kelowna tour. Thanks for being patient with us and allowing us to take extra time in the vineyards we enjoyed more.

Came in to Kelowna from Calgary for a well earned break. Our driver Murray picked us up and explained the winery’s and the scheduled times. We were escorted in to each winery and handed over to servers who gladly offered great selections to sample. Murray kept us on time and shared interesting stories and facts of the areas we were traveling near. Top notch service and Murray carried our purchases from each winery to the vehicle. Thankfully he had ice cold water ready for us. Friendly, great sense of humor, tons of giggles and can’t wait to return to Kelowna and book Murray for another list of winery’s to try.

My fiance and I booked the 5 Hour West Kelowna Wine Tour on the Monday of May long weekend and we were not disappointed from start to finish. We would definitely book with Joe again should we come back to Kelowna. Joe was on time for pick up, professional, incredibly whitty, very knowledgeable and answered all questions when it came to the area, wineries, and vineyards. He has such aspirations for his personal business which shines through in his passion and love for the area. All of the wineries we went to were clean, friendly personnel, and had a great selection for our tastings. I will say that we enjoyed the smaller wineries as they had more of a personal touch and were very unique. Joe booked us in at Quails Gate Winery for our lunch and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible and we ordered a bottle of wine with our meal and enjoyed the scenic view of the lake. Joe has a few surprises up his sleeve throughout your tour which I cannot dare spoil, but let me say well worth it. I would highly recommend booking with City Wine Tours and soak in as much as you can of the beautiful Okanagan with a gracious host.
