Back in February I was the lucky winner of a gift certificate from Sell off Vacations in Dartmouth Crossing(which brought me to this location). When i picked up my certificate I was greeted by Amanda Lanctot, whom I have also been in contact with since then, asking various questions about different things regarding a south vacation. She is very quick to answer any questions and if she doesn't know the answer off hand she will find it for you. We recently booked our south trip a few weeks ago for 2018. Unfortunately January February 2021 being the resort initially booked in Montego Bay during the pandemic was not clean in Jamaica ,the staff hustled money from my lady friend and second resort just had food poisoning and we cancelled in fear of the same West Jet Vacations refused to give us a credit back though the hotel in Mo Bay refunded us one nights stay after many months -Breathless Secrets Montego Bay nice folks wrong time to travel as protocols and services limited and brach staff lifeguard blurred by desperation and acting unprofessionally Happening all over the Caribbean . People getting ripped of for money by staff who as desperate and are then fired FreezyG Sell off Vacations terrible My advice : Book your own flight and stay as tried this booking because of the Pandemic needing representation snd trusted safety We’re out 15000 Canadian and had a terrible trip at times

I have been a loyal client of Jennifer Syer and Sell of Vacations for a few years now, Originally at her location in Ajax and now at her new location, 1383 Wilson Road North Oshawa. Just when I thought client service couldn't get better, Jennifer goes and confirms what I already knew... they are the best! I am fortunate to get to travel a few times a year, and being a Realtor in Durham, I have many contacts and my contacts have many contacts! We are always recommending and referring people we have had a good experience with and like any savvy shopper, I have compared services, checked prices myself by dealing direct through the airline (ie: Sunwing), obtained rates from other travel agencies and... after all of this, I always find myself back booking with Jennifer! She is not a Sales Person, after the next commission. She ALWAYS provides the best price which still shocks me to this day. The few hundred dollars that we save isnt what keeps me going back, its the service that Jenn always provides. If there is any extra's that you can get, she will make sure you get it. Our recent trips, she set up (without us knowing it) a surprise Engagement Package , and most recently an Anniversary Package! She thought of this herself and did not let on at all. When we arrived at our destination, our door was decorated, we had wine, flowers, fruit basket, and the special treatment went on the duration of the trip. She really goes out of her way to ensure every trip is memorable. Jennifer also has employed like minded people at her new office! The service I have received from the staff is no less than impressive! In the occasion she has been unavailable, its seems like everyone knows your name and knows your trip details and is ready to help! I have and will continue to recommend Jenn or ANY ONE of the STAFF, at the North Oshawa Sell of Vacations. I am 100% confident in recommending them to not only my friends, but ... My Clients! We booked our recent trip to Aruba (Dec 2020) through Elena Miller from SellOff Vacations. She made everything so easy for us. It was like working with our own personal travel agent. At a time right now when travelling is so difficult, she helped us walked through everything step by step. I had plenty of questions and some were just small questions for clarification, and every time I called her she either answered right away or returned my phone call within hours. Once the trip was booked I noticed that my husband was seated in a different row then me and my small child. When I called her about this she called Air Canada directly and was able to have this changed promptly and sent over my new travel docs that same day. We do a lot of travelling and I will only book through Elena going forward. She is pleasant and professional but adds that personal touch that you can’t get with other online travel companies. Thank you Elena for taking away any stress I was having and making sure that my family would have the best vacation!

We booked a trip to Cozumel & were told that there were no flights from Halifax until December 20th. Not wanting to wait until December 20th I booked the trip to fly out of Toronto & figured we'd make our way to Toronto on another flight at a huge expense. Six days after booking the trip I come to find that there were now flights from Halifax on the dates we wanted. Needless to say I was disheartened since I took the advice of the agent on the phone when I booked 6 days ago. I decided to visit the SellOffVacations office in Dartmouth, NS to see what could be done to accommodate us since we would ALWAYS choose to fly out of our home province. I was greeted with a friendly hello from Crystal as soon as I walked in the door. I briefly explained our situation & she didn't hesitate for a second. She took the information, contacted the airline direct & had a wonderful answer for me in less that 20 minutes!! She puts you on the right track what to expect and what not to when travelling. I was a bit scare whether to travel during Covid 19, but to be frank there’s no need to. What I have experienced recently it’s amazing, you feel much safer travelling than staying home. The safety measures and the procedure are just phenomenal. I would do it again, when you have an agency who willing to guide you on everything when travelling to you just feel that confident and everything went through as you were told. My experience at the Hilton Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica was extraordinary: the food was great so much to choose from, the entertainments, the beaches, the lazy river , the pools , water slides, the 24/7 room service, drinks. and the friendly staffs was just more that what you could have asked for. This was truly a great choice, I would do it again and again. Rosemarie Walters keep up the great work that you have been doing , the great personality, the patience and after hours just to make sure we are ok at this time of Covid19, it’s just amazing, you make travelling super easy. You are an asset to that company. You not only look out for your self but you put out 110% for others so they get values for their money, I would recommend you any time.

Basically the worst travel agency imaginable. After two years of trying, I'm giving up on my flight credit from a Covid-cancelled trip. If you need to speak to an agent on the phone, be prepared to wait at least an hour (I'm writing this review while on hold, about 1 hour 10 min so far). Agents are rude (likely burnt out and underpaid, so it's not at all their fault) and give you the runaround. So far I've been told they can't find my invoice number or reference number, that the airline is responsible for issuing credits and refunds (the airline, of course, says it's SellOff's responsibility), or that I was never issued a credit in the first place. I've lost hope, all I can do now is warn others and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Don't waste your time and money.

If you are ever in a pickle booking a vacation, I suggest you go to Expedia or SunWing instead. Our Travel Agent named Sylvia was a poor example of a person who cared for their clients. She booked our dates wrong and we had to go through many hoops just to get our correct date and on top of that, we told her we were booking with another group. We went to A recommended location in Jamaica for our honeymoon. The Luxury Bahia Principe resort in Runaway Bay was fabulous. Our agent Rosemarie was absolutely correct about sending us to this site. Went to barcelo colonial in mayan riveria. Hotel was one of five together very expansive, had its own mall and adventure park as well as free dolphin shows. went with extended family we all had a great time. only downfall was the rocks hidden in the ocean, had to be careful. watch the restaurant booking also as they mixed up countless dinner reservations. All in all would go back great place.

We first want to say that Elena Miller our Sell off agent was amazing. Ocean Blue & Sand was a very nice property.The resort is a little dated,it could use some TLC. We're mostly referring to the rooms, that some parts of the rooms need repair. Most staff was very pleasant and treated us like family. The food was good but needed to have more variety of selections and not always the same food at every sitting. The reception representative named Willy was awesome, very accommodating and helpful. Always very pleasant person to deal with. Also the Lobby Bartender named 24,24,48,48,Sexy Black(Alexander) was amazing. He was always so pleasant and entertaining. He kept all his customers at the bar very content and happy to be there during his shift. Also want to mention the breakfast and pool bartenders Victor,Danny and Bernard for their wonderful service. The memories Flamenco resort has a beautiful beach & very friendly staff. The rooms were dated, dirty & moldy and we only had hot water 2x in the week.The bars often had no ice & no fruity drinks. The food was disgusting! We ate french fries every single day for lunch. The only meal that was just ok was breakfast. The swimming pools were dirty! This resort was rated at a 4.5, it's a lie. Don't be fooled like i was. It is really a 1 start if that much. Very disappointed & i will not trust selloffvacations rating system in the future. In the past 5 years i have booked all of my vacations through costco travel. They were always accurately rated.

I have been booking my trips for three years with Kimberley Green at sell off Dartmouth Crossing and I have been so impressed with the wonderful service. Kimberley is so professional and always responds in a very timely manner and goes above and beyond every time. I have never met her but feel so comfortable with her and I know when all is said and done she has done her best for me! I am from NL but keep coming back to Kim because I trust her so much. The Azul Ixtapa Grand was a delight again. Over 3 or 4 visits, we have maintained respect for their friendly professionalism and amenities. Our favourite staff member, Anel, has moved from a la carte reservations to wedding coordinator, but she still greeted us happily and made sure to touch base before we left. In addition to this hotel, we have stayed at the sister hotel, Azul Resort several times as well, but prefer more of the Grand's a la cartes plus adult pool. We enjoyed the the included bike tour, kayak tour and sailing lesson. There are many other activities including a Sunwing dinner show and party, but we preferred to relax around the adult pool. Our SellOff Vacations agent, Elena Miller competently achieved our requests regarding accommodation. The Sunwing rep at the Resort, Arturo, was friendly and helpful, although thankfully we didn't need any special support. The only serious drawback to this Sunwing vacation is the grueling flight, from Vancouver, to Calgary, and finally to Zihuatenejo/Ixtapa. The return flight goes to Calgary first, then Vancouver. The Calgary stop adds much more than an hour to the flight. Over the years we have always needed to de-ice, once we were asked to stay out of the aisles (after 5 hours!) so the crew could change over, and this time we ran out of water on the return flight. No hand washing, dry flushing and no coffee. The area is perfect. The beach is a bit rough, but many local sights are within a short walking distance and the weather has always been perfect. Hopefully Sunwing has a change of heart about their flight.
