Nice and quirky rest stop on Hwy. 11 in Moonbeam. Clean restrooms and free WiFi. The UFO monument is a fun place for photographs. Lots of information inside on Moonbeam, Kapuskasing and the local area.

A tidy little spot welcoming you to town. They have clean facilities, and a small visitor area including a gift shop. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. I guess I should also mention the UFO in the front yard. Next stop, Thunder Bay!

Moonbeam Tourist Information is a small but clean center where you can get some information, go to the restrooms or buy some creative souvenirs.

The woman that was working was very friendly and informative! She made sure everyone used handsanitizer and face masks were mandatory before entering, which is great! I got a nice Moonbeam, Ontario sweater and a complimentary free alien pin along with it.

We visited 6 years ago and had purchased items. Staff were very friendly. This trip we went to the information office 4 times between July 5 and July 10th 2021 and it was closed every time, no explanation. The last time was on our way out of town and there was hand written "Sorry we are closed sign". That was the only time there was actually a sign. Very disappointed. We really wanted to purchase more items. That that was the main reason we went to the area.
