Great way to see the sights! Liked the 24hr hop on-hop off option. Knowledgeable crew; ask them anything. A little pricey if you're only taking the tour once and not getting off the bus but think insurance, staff...All in all a great experience.

We had the boat tour scheduled for today. Got up this morning to heavy rain, thunder and lightening. I called to see if we could rebook for tomorrow and was told no - she said they go regardless of the weather....as I cannot take my elderly aunt out in this weather, we have now lost over $60.00. I am very disappointed in their attitude. I will not try to book this ever again.

We were visiting the city for the first time. And this bus tour through the city gives you a very good idea of the history of the city. But most importantly it helps you so much to get an overview of the city. This way you can decide easily what you want to visit on your own. Can only recommend for everyone being the first time here staying longer than a day.

We took both, the open deck and the amphibia tours and the experiences were amazing. Guides for both tours were very informative and were very humorous. My kids were initially not interested but they really enjoyed the tours and were ready to go for another time.

The tour is not defined well, and is not well-organized. They will decide where you can sit. The people at the right seats don't have a good view of parliament while the bust is in Ottawa river. Although the price is kinda expensive, they will also expect tips!

Bus driver was Rude and not bilingual and accusing our children of standing up while driving. when they were not standing at all I was with them and watching them. Bus driver was also a very spuratic driver. Almost verged on being unsafe, we were being thrown from our seats when she brakes far more than we should. We have been on many hop on hop off tours and all the drivers are always smooth and professional. This lady driver was verging on being unsafe. Almost seemed like driving the bus was holding her back from doing something more important with her time. Tour guide was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable, we felt bad not leaving a tip but the driver ruined it for us. We paid $200 for this tour for our family and we would of had more fun on a public transit bus for $3 each. Bus has no air conditioning and it was pouring out so the windows couldn’t be opened. No ear phones offered and could not hear the tour guide with all the noise from rain and people and talking. They also charged the same price on the last ride of the day, except we couldn’t jump on and off because it was the last ride of the day, it should at very minimum be discounted at least 10%. Something? We have been on these tours in New York, Washington, Montreal, Las Vegas, Chicago... normally love them... this was not a positive experience and very unfriendly to children (at least this bus was).

Wherever we go, the Hop-on & Hop-off bus is a must do. We are pleased that we did this in Ottawa, too although we drove here and could have visited the landmarks by car. The busses were nice, the drivers and guides did an excellent job. However, we were disapointed by the kiosk staff and the confusing info on the flyer and the schedule as well as by the answers and the attitude of the staff. The tour was advertised as a "1 Day (8hrs)" tour but tbe schedule was showing the 10 am start and 4 pm end of the tour, which is 6 hours, not 8!!! We could only do 3 stops as we got on the 11:30 am bus. The tour guide mentioned that the tickets were valid for 24 hours, whish totally confused the kiosk staff who answered: "We do not print the flyers." Not professional at all.

If you want an overview for the city of Ottawa, this is it, but if you want anything more than that, I would advise otherwise. The tour gives you a glance of the city at best, and you will have no chance for photos or deeper idea of what those places are what so ever. I went on the amphibus ride, seems like it was fun for the first 2 minutes on water, but not so much after that. The information provided is an oversimplification at best. Some beautiful landmarks disappear after 4 seconds. It was an good choice for my situation, I had to leave Ottawa the next day so at least the tour did not break my bladder while still delivered a comprehensive view of the city. If you have the opportunity of staying there longer, rent a car, take a walk, that would give you better value for money. No hard feelings :)

Great experience. Nice tour of Downtown Ottawas historic landmarks, parliment and neighboring Governmental buildings, embassies, and waterfront. Gatineau, Museums and historic statues. Very Canadiana. Tour guide was bilingual and driver did a good job bring us safely in out of land and water. 1 hour toru ..well worth the money. Great for couples and families.

The boat tour and the hop on hop off tour are very similar and not worth the extra expense. Having heard the boat tour script, we could predict the anecdotes/repeat the script during the bus tour. However, that said the tour is comprehensive and covers the city adequately.

I love the double decker one, my favorite out of the two tours. We did the lady dive yesterday for then 1st time, it was nice however the tour guide guy was speaking SO LOUD it almost gave me headache and trigggered my husband's migraine. Wonderful and amazing experience! The kids loved it very much .The tour was on time and extremely well run, with very professional and friendly staff. We learned so many fun facts about Ottawa, both explained perfectly in English and in French. Our tour guide was willing to answer any questions or doubts we had. HIGHLY recommend doing this if you visit the area. All staff were great, really funny and extremely friendly. I’d recommend doing both the hop on/hop off bus tour. This allows you to hop off the bus at a location, look around, and get back on. The bus/boat tour was also exceptional. It gave really unique views of Ottawa/Gatineau. Thanks for a great time!

Outstanding client service. Got into an accident with them a few years ago when their bus rolled across their lane into my car, crushing it against the curb and causing quite extensive damage. The manager asked a few basic questions when she came on site, never challenged / questioned my story, and was extremely apologetic. Followed up numerous times with phone calls, promising to pay for all repairs with the dealer, and did so promptly and no hassle on my end. All businesses should strive for this level of ethical behaviour in their dealings with their clients.

Your experience will depend on the bus you get and the tour guide and driver. Totally not worth the money! Very expensive. Especially when you are playing bus / tour guide roulette. If we could have guaranteed the second bus and tour guide the whole way we would not have been so disappointed. We have done tours like this all over the world, and this was the worst by far! The first bus we took = very old and dirty bus. This looked a like a British double decker bus so entry was from the traffic side which caused safety issues. The seats were small and dirty, the windows barely opened and there was no AC so it was very hot and stuffy. The suspension was rough and the breaks squealed making it hard to hear what the tour guide was saying. The tour guide sounded like he really didn't care (when we could hear him) and the driver was definitely in a rush to get somewhere, which in my opinion negates the point of a bus tour! There was an incident at one of our stops; an elderly lady was trying to enter the bus (on the traffic side of a very busy road) with her walker. However the bus door was tight and the bus didn't have a ramp to help her up (it was a large step even for fit individuals). She ended up crawling onto the bus on her hands and knees! She was helped up by another passenger. There was no space to store her walker ... The second bus we were on was newer, cleaner and there was a good rapport between the guide and the driver. She seemed more interested in sharing her knowledge of the area. We didn't want to risk leaving this bus because we really didn't want to take our chances with another bad experience; shame - it was supposed to be hop-on/hop-off.

Went to Ottawa on Sept 2, 2021 and rode lady dive Amphibus @1:45 pm. Amazing tour bus both land and in waters. The driver was so friendly and the tour guide was very informative. Superb service for the 1st time tour in the City of Ottawa. Highly recommended

Went here with my wife, price was decent, the tour guide was really knowledgeable and it was really nice when we got to cruise around the Ottawa River. The tour also took us to sites around Ottawa and even through Gatineau, Que. I also think that all seats on the boat had decent views to all sites, so it doesn't matter if you sit in the front or the back of the boat, all views are equally good. Would definitely recommend doing this tour if you are in the area.

I took my parents who were visiting, on the round trip double decker tour. We were 30 minutes early, so we got first in line to be the top level which gave a great view the entire ride. *Pro tip: sit on the left side to avoid the few overhanging tree branches that might try to whack ya*. The guide was bilingual, and informative. I didn't learn much more than I already knew from living in Ottawa for 10 months and coming here on a school trip several years ago. My parents loved it, and it was nice to be the passenger for 90 minutes. Our driver, Luc, drove so smoothly and it was comfortable! Would recommend for total newbies to Ottawa, and seniors who might enjoy being the relaxing drive and gorgeous veiws.

It was a great tour with the family but it was kinda pricey. We went on the amphi-bus and it was great then we went on the hop on - hop off bus and we had a lot of fun. but when we were on the last stop the bus was 25 min late I know it doesn't seem like a lot of time but when every one is exhausted and with little kids its a long wait.

People on the bus are way too loud, we couldn't hear or stay connected with our guide. The bus was stuffy with no air conditioning, it was raining outside so we couldn't open the windows. The rain was pouring on my sister in law from a crack in the roof. The view was nice. Interesting facts but as i mentioned we couldn't hear the guide from the talkative people. It was a good tour but not great

Hands down the best tour experience in ANY city I have ever been in. Great guides, the route in phenomenal (you see every outstanding location in Ottawa) and the price is fair. Would HIGHLY recommend you do this if you only have 1-2 days in Ottawa.

Horrible experience with Lady Dive tours yesterday (August 2, 2021). The bus was stopped at an inclined position for over an hour. The staff failed to declare it an emergency. Passengers were urged to calm down and wait for the tow truck for over an hour. A passenger (not the Lady Dive crew) called 911 after waiting for over an hour for their “tow truck”. Emergency crews helped us get out after we spent an hour and half in that bus. A tour that was supposed to last an hour lasted 4 hours! We got our refunds but the emergency response plan of this company is very poor. One of their employees stated that calling 911 would be a “waste of resources”. Please don’t waste your money here. Old buses, confused staff, and no emergency plan in place. Just walk around the city on foot instead. See pictures.

The hop on/off bus was good. Great, cheap way to see Ottawa, the tour guides we had were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We also had a tour on the Amphibus, which I didn’t enjoy half as much. We were ushered to our seats and told where we were sitting. I had wanted to sit at the back and away from all the (screeching) kids, I asked if this was possible, but didn’t get a choice and in turn I was sat surrounded by kids (the brat behind me was a delight, constantly kicking my chair). The tour guy was good, but what with the loud loud children and the loud microphone, it wasn’t an enjoyable experience Jo ???? Sent from my iPhone

We had very bad experience with them, ``In short`` Please do not buy tickets online from them, because they are charging high rates from walk-in customers and they do not care about the peoples bought the ticket online, and if they have more walk in customer's for a schedule tour than they are threating badly with customers bought the tickets online and forcing them to take their money back or come next day or two.. we went at the spot on time. we were 3 families with 6 small kids. we bought the ticket online 2 weeks before but they said no we do not have your ticket information you can take your money back...I asked them why your returning money if you do not have our confirmation.. than we got to know that they have overbooking with walk-in customers and they do not care about online customers. we were frustrated because kids were sad and upset.

A nice and unique idea and good way to "see" the city of you don't have a car, but not much else. The Amphibious Bus hurtles through down-town at 40kph barely leaving the poor tour guide a few seconds to say "this is a building c'est un bâtiment" as you pass each building - no time to give you any history, insight or value added information. The main attraction is the journey on the river. However this is quite short and only goes past a few attractions. Despite this the tour guide has to go around and take pictures of every passenger rather than using the time to tell you anything about the city. While it's no fault of the poor tour guide, on the day we rode (15 Aug 21) the PA was intermittently failing making it hard to hear even the small amount that was being explained. Lastly, the safety of the vehicle on the water seems a little... Questionable? The emergency exits have two clips each, but because of how they're laid out between the chairs no single person would be able to open both at the same time. Thus in the panic of a capsizing I'd be worried about my chances of escape especially if sat next to a child or elderly passenger. Speaking of children all children's life jackets are situated at the rear of the vehicle, which would reduce their chances of escape in a serious capsizing Advice for the company to improve:- - Run seperate (alternating) English and French tours. This would give the poor tour guides chance to breath and chance to give more history and Insight. - Give more history and insight. - fit single action quick release mechanisms to emergency escape doors - Distribute children's life jackets evenly around the vehicle.

Our ride turned out to be a dreadful one, when the bus completely stopped at an odd inclined position just as we were coming out of water via boat ramp. What could have been handled professionally and efficiently turned out to be a two hour long wait, anxious passengers (including elders and kids)! The staff seemed almost helpless calling it technical difficulty and not an emergency! Thanks to 911(dialled by a co passenger) the fire department helped us ! Yes we got our refunds right there, but no the trauma still holds ! Lady Dive, we did see you are still continuing these rides as business as usual! But please upgrade your vehicles and have the staff equipped to handle emergencies efficiently !

All the tour guides and drivers were wonderful! Very pleasant and friendly. They answered all our questions and made our trip very special. We did the Amphibus and double decker bus tour as well as purchased tickets for 1 museum on their website. I found it to be a good deal, we had a full day of hop on, hop off tours which was good for us. The bus was always on time so be prepared to leave on time. If you really want to explore the city more I would suggest buying the 2 day option, next time we may do that. Book the earliest bus possible so you can have lots of time to explore. Definitely recommend both tours, the amphibus is great if you have kids they will certainly enjoy it.

A wonderful experience! It was my first visit to Ottawa and I couldn't have wished for a better tour of the city. The views from the water were spectacular. Our guide was friendly, competent and answered all of our questions. Very convenient when you are wanting to go to multiple tourist locations. Loved that the bus picked us up at our hotel and took us to where we needed to purchase our tickets. Our bus driver Ron was amazing!! He went above and beyond the 2 days we took the bus. His tour guides were also awesome as well. The other tour guides didn't give as much information as the 2 guys on the bus (I feel bad I can't remember their names). I would have given 5 stars but we had an awful experience on the really old bus. You couldn't hear anything there was no suspension and the brakes squealed so loud it was embarrassing. This bus is an embarrassment to the company!!! After this experience we waited extra time for Ron to come back.

Extremely disappointed in the experience with Lady Dive tours. This was our first time in Ottawa as a family. The tour guide on the hop on hop off tour had a very thick French accent. She spoke too fast and not loud enough for us to even hear where to get off! We missed all of the tourist attractions we wanted to go to, as she did not announce the bus stops clearly. It was a complete waste of our time and money, as we were only in Ottawa for one day. I will not be recommending this tour bus to anyone. In addition, the lady on the Rideau Canal cruise was clearly racist and lacked crowd management skills. She yelled at my mom for not standing in line (we are Indians) while a bunch of tourists (group of white people) in front of us were standing as a group.She only asked my mom to move out of all the people who were standing in groups. She created a scene and embarrassed us in front of the other tourists. Again, extremely disappointed in the customer service. I live in Toronto and I always believed that Canada was respecting and open to other cultures. I am upset that my family got to see this side of Ottawa on their first visit. I do not recommend using this tour bus if this is your first time traveling to Ottawa. Time of travel: August 13, 2019 - 10.30 am tour bus Rideau Canal Cruise - 4.30pm ride.

They are the best! I an from India.. My wallet was dropped in the bus and I had no clue where I dropped it... I thought I have lost it and came back Home. But, their staff called me and gave me my wallet back which had good amount of cash and credit cards too. They shown what integrity mean! A big thank you! ????????there charges are very low and they ensure to show all the city with a very funny and friendly guide. I would have given them more than 5 stars if there was an option!

Everything about this experience was great! We bought a package of the hop-on/hop-off doubledecker and the amphibus. And the first thing - were pleasantly surprised by the price. The staff at the booth were helpful and welcoming. And the tour itself was fantastic. This was my 8th visit to Ottawa, and nevertheless, I have learned some new things and visited new places in the city. The duration is not too long to get you tired, but you manage to see the main tourist attractions and hear a story about each of them. Plus, get an unforgettable experience of driving into and floating along the Ottawa river. Special thanks to our charming guide Selena (Celina): fun, friendly, she gives you just the right mix of information and entertainment and takes great photos :) and the driver Ken: experienced and knowledgeable - with him you feel safe, secure and comfortable. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience! I finally had the opportunity to go on the Lady Dive Tours after having grown up here in Ottawa! The tour was on time and extremely well run, with very professional and friendly staff. I learned so many fun facts about Ottawa, both explained perfectly in English and in French. I am an Ottawa native and I had my first experience with the amphibus this past Monday. I have to say that it was a perfect way to experience new vistas of a city I thought I had seen from every angle. All the members of my party had an excellent time. The guide was courteous and knowledgeable - and very bilingual! The ride in and out of the water was smooth and well routed, allowing us a view of the city's major attractions. I strongly recommend this tour to tourists and Ottawa residents alike.

Did the 1.5 hour double decker bus tour. The tour was pretty good and the guide was nice and answered questions. Got some good shots of landmarks all over Ottawa and learned some stuff too. Did want to do the amphibious tour too, but there was a 4.5 hour wait for next tour due to being sold out on previous time frames.
