This park has outstanding natural beauty & is a national treasure. Highly recommend except for weekends & during Fall Rhapsody on weekends. Park is simply packed with visitors & tourists which really does ruin its splendour..

Fall season in Canada is amazing! Especially in Ontario and Quebec. Gatineau Park is an incredible place to go at the peak of the fall tree colours. It does get extremely busy at times in particular in October. Lots of trails, lakes and touristic historical places to see as well. ????☺️

Gorgeous tree covered hill, valleys dotted by streams and lakes. The trails are plentifull and easily accessible. Managed a hike to the "carbide" Wilson ruins, beautiful! So glad they are returned to nature for all to enjoy! Also made it out to Meech lake where the famous Meech Lake accord took place.

Went for a short hike here with the family. Beautiful scenery! Recommend coming here if you’re looking for something to do in the Ottawa/Gatineau area, especially if it’s a nice day out.

We are so lucky to have the Gatineau park. So many things to do! This time we went for a 36km bike ride and stopped at O'Brien beach for a picnic and a swim!

Grrr In these times of Covid, they should rather regulate, control access and encourage visitors tired of being confined to disperse in the park (respecting the rules of distancing) by just taking the roads closed to motorists! It's a whole new way of living in a society with viruses that you have to train to learn for months and years to come! (Original) Les malfaisants de la CCN bloquent tous les accès aux stationnements, passages de piétons et vélos ! Grrr En ces temps de Covid, Ils devraient plutôt règlementer, contrôler l'accès et encourager les visiteurs fatigués d'être confinés à se disperser dans le parc (en respectant les règles de distanciations) en empruntant justement les routes fermées aux automobilistes! C'est toute une nouvelle manière de vivre en société avec virus qu'il faut s'entraîner à apprendre pour des mois et années à venir !

Went for a walk with the family SAT Sept 22 saw a big black bear while driving. Was an adventure for my daughter and the scenery is always beautiful.

The helpful staff gave us directions to the snowshoeing trails. The change in elevation made the trails very engaging. It was well worth the drive. I will be back to try out other trails and to rent an OTentik.
