I have had nothing short of an amazing experience with Travelance, in particular I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Nichole Jucksch who helped us through the entire term of our policy. My family and I had to have travel insurance for about 7 months while I sorted out some issues with my status. Every month around 10 days before expiry, I would get an email (and I'm sure it was hand-typed, didn't seem like an "auto-response" type thing) from Nichole directly asking if we'd like to extend our policy. She is a very friendly and helpful person and if I ever need insurance again, I would definitely go with Travelance.

I bought Visitors to Canada policy for my father. He had some health issues and to diagnose doctor advised couple of medical tests, and they were approved by their claims department. Still Diagnosis was on and doctor advised one more test which these guys denied and advised me to send my father's passport to start making return arrangements. I advised their advisor to speak to to his supervisor, but he did not want to speak. Worst experience with them. Will not recommend to buy insurance with them. -------------------------------------- Update: What a great response. Glad to hear you are happy with your services atleast. Does not matter if a customer is happy or not. You or your underwriting or emergency team even does not allow to talk to a supervisor or senior if a customer wants to talk because of your contractual obligation. You guys are good until you don't get money from customer. As soon as you have customer's money and they need your help in difficult times, there is no help.

Similar to many insurance companies. Nothing special in travelance. Quick to give you the insurance policy, but needs every single detail when time to reimburse. And still you could be missing few dollars or completely rejected claims in some cases. Try other options if possible.

A guy named JEFF called us a day after we booked an insurance from Tracelance and he's very RUDE and Unprofessional. He's dragging down the reputation of this insurance company! My wife was asking questions and he was very impatient to the point he told my wife that she's ruining his review. This is the second time we booked an insurance from Travelance but I don't think we will book another one in the future because of how this guy dealt with our questions.

I really want an alternative to BCAA for pre-existing condition travel insurance - but the fact they have nothing on their website about who they are - and cannot answer my questions when contacted - and that they refer people to the underwriter for credibility - makes me nervous - so I guess better the devil I know - too bad -but if you are going to operate a business you must be transparent and these guys are not

I am so unhappy to be back here with my review From my prior posts it must hv been aparent that my family was given a excellent and very humane extension of my father's policy TA184472 Now again I have been told to make his travel plans to India by June 30 and extension granted for 2 week only I would like to tell you that international flights are still not operating to India and even the few evacuation flights that are operating, there is a 7 days paid quarantine,in which they have to check in into a facility My father is 84 years old and my mother is 78 and he would be travelling with a catheter and living in a quarantine facility for 7 days, which i have no idea if its safe solution as they may be exposed to so many other people who may be infected I have been a loyal customer since 2013 and am requesting due to the global epedemic that i shd be allowed to extend insurance for 1 more month as it is expected that international commercial flights will start in july OR a reimbursement of the the repatriation flights for my father and my mother and paid quarantine in a hotel in Delhi I am hoping for consideration and extension of my father s policy o covaid19. Their travel insurance company travelance is not extending their current insurance policy TA184472 as we had to make an insurance claim They want me to set up a new insurance policy and will not cover my father's current ailment as it would be a preexisting condition Is there no relaxation for this situation Should there not be extension of coverage with the same terms and conditions The world is the midst of a pandemic Who do I turn to Pls guide..we are in the midst of the biggest global crisis i have used travelance insurance for my parents third trip to canada and we never made a claim My mother pritpal kaur date of birth 28 10 1943 is also insured with u No claims Pls help me by extending coverage on my father s policy without excluding his current prostrate ailment Requesting for compassion

DO NOT GET SUPERVISA INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY! WE ASK FOR A SUPERVISA INSURANCE TO APPLY FOR SUPERVISA. OFCOURSE THE DATE IS JUST AN ESTIMATE. EVEN THEM KNOW IT. ONCE THE APPLICATION WAS APPROVED AND WE BOUGHT A TICKET, WE ASKED THEM TO ADJUST IT. AND THEY ARE CHARGING US $50 TO CHANGE THE DATE OF COVERAGE!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!!

August 16th 2019 UPDATE....... Received a call from Jeffery Gordon today with some promising news. They are willing to resolve this matter and refund our money back by cheque. I am happy they are willing to work things out. Looking forward to receiving the cheque by mail in the near future and looking forward to using Travelance for future family insurance needs. As Sun Life Advisor, I find Travelance as a very reliable and easy to deal business partner. I am working with them for 4 years and I am confident that all legitimate claims will be paid quickly, the refunds for early returns will be very fast prosessed ( 7 min since the form and the boarding pass submitted ) , What is also important , comission is paid on time and is very convenient to see how much it grows from year to year. I am linked to Travelance professionally since a couple of years now. Always had full support, attention and periodic product trainings to keep updated with any changes brought by the company. Very transparent policy wording and like every insurance company, they abide by it. Recently had a very satisfying experience with Nichole,when I called for some help for my client who's father passed away a day before reaching Canada. She guided me through the process and assured me that all the premium will be refunded and also did the date change for the spouse without charging any admin fee. I was very thankful to her for not even stressing me out about any medical proofs required as the family is already going through such a loss . I am PROUD to be associated with Travelance who stands by their insureds & agents in tough times! Thank you!

Wish could give them zero rating. They give different information every single time you call regarding your claim. Claim process is tough, lengthy and you have to pay the expenses and then they consider if have to reimburse you claim or not. Mine was light claim. They considered continuing treatment as follow up and dont cover it. Please stay away from this company and I will never get back to this company as it's just waste of your money, time and nothing but stress you get mentally and financially. Thanks

I had a review with their agent named Jeff and he is very RUDE and DISMISSIVE. I tried asking questions because that was the purpose of the call to review the policy purchases and he said that I was ruining his review. How could I ruin the review when he initially told me that he will go through with the policy and for me to ask question at any time. WORST Customer Service ever!!!! Also, I want to further understand how they categorize pre-existing conditions and have given some scenarios to further expound what I'm trying to ask and he said I'm asking a lot, too much questions. Ugh, he is the worst hope this company is not!

Be careful when you deal with them. They have outsourced all their work to overseas. I spoke to a lady from outside of Canada and she admitted that she sits in India. Launching a formal complaint against them. Look all their positive feedback come from made up reviews.

Extremely frustrating to navigate through the claim process. Looks like all the effort was made to make the application as simple as possible but when it comes to file a claim, every little details matter and you deal with real rude people who doesn't care about your situation. It seems like the primary goal is to deny the claim for whatever silly reason they can invent. Be careful and save all receipts and write down all details like date of arrival, date of seeing doctor and take permission from them before seeing any doctor.
