Had an amazing private tour with OHBT last month. You gotta love a beer tour company owned by an Aussie! Paul was great on the tour and Angela took care of all the details. The food was great and the beer even better!Highly recommend for any occasion!

Original Hamilton Beer Tours was amazing! Everything went above and beyond my expectations. Our driver, Rogy, was incredible! He was fun, professional, and was the perfect personality for our group! The beer and cider tastings were amazing and the facility tour was really great too! We had so much fun we are planning a wine tour in the near future.

From the very beginning Redback travel was amazing to help me plan and organize the Original Hamilton Beer Tour. Angela was very helpful in making sure the best tour was planned to suit the needs of our party. The day itself was so much fun, each destination was so unique and interesting, all of the staff we interacted with was pleasant and informative about their products. We also had the best tour guide/driver, Rogy was so kind and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. I can’t wait to do this tour again and explore other breweries around Hamilton!! Would absolutely recommend everyone book this tour!

I booked a tour with the Company a week before. Somewhat last minute, but they said they had a tour available for Saturday. We were supposed to be picked up at 10:45-11 am, but driver was running late and we got picked up 11:30. The van was promised to be nice, with leather seats, but instead it was a cloth seat older van. We got dropped off at the brewery and told by driver that he will go park and be back in 5 mins. We tried getting a table, but the brewery said they have no table reservation for us and that they do not do tours. After about 20 mins waiting outside the brewery, the driver finally came back with the van, and got us a table. We then ordered the tasting samples for the group and waited about 20 minutes to only get 3/8 samples served, then another 10 minutes before the whole group got our samples. When booking the tour Joana told me that we would either get a pint (473 ml) of beer or samples equal to that. We all got 5 plastic shot glasses (30ml each) of 5 samples, equal to 150 ml of beer and not an acceptable sample. I was also told at the first location we would get a individual sample of small snack like nachos, which we did not get. They said we would get it at second location. Judging from the big tub of small chips and crackers in the van passenger seat, which I believe was supposed to be our promised snack. Instead we all ordered a pint of beer and 5 order of wings and 3 order of French fries. We did not want to continue the tour, as it was already 2pm and we were only at tour and very dissatisfied. I called the company, to get a deal to end the tour. They agreed to pay for our food and beers, in return of not going to the other two breweries and just giving us a ride home. This was nice of the company, that’s why it’s not 1/5 stars review. I know COVID is affecting things up, and that restaurants/breweries are busy, but the tour organization felt like everything was done last minute. We payed over $1000 for the 8 of us, and it was just disappointing. We would not recommend going on a tour with the company, until they get their things together and deliver on their promises. It’s better to pay for a van taxi, go to whatever brewery you want, and just buy beer there, would be much cheaper and enjoyable experience.

This was a great tour to do. We really enjoyed the 3 breweries and cider hours. Great to have a driver. Not something you can do and get behind the wheel. All the reservations were made for us in advance. Jose Alberto was our drive and he was lovely and patient.

We planned a beer tour for my husbands 40th birthday-Angela outlined every detail from the beginning and delivered as promised. Our bus arrived promptly and the driver was friendly, corteous and professional. The breweries were expecting us and provided great product and service. A great way to spend a Saturday and lots of fun!!!!

If you’re looking to check out some local breweries, this tour is a great way to organize your day, with carefree travel. We particularly enjoyed West Ave. Cider, in Flamborough, and Grain & Grit, in West Hamilton. It’s really cool to meet the people who are behind the brews.

We celebrated my husband's birthday through Redback tours and couldn't have had more fun! We are all talking about making it a new monthly ritual!

All I can say is that all 22 people attending my husband Birthday celebration certainly enjoyed the tour! Our driver Roagie (hope I spelled it somewhat right) HE WAS AMAZING!! This guy made our experience just perfect. Even though we had a few challenges throughout the day, everything was taken in stride, these very small issues only made our day more memorable. I appreciate all of the work Angela put into organizing our tour. What a great way to spend a Saturday. All 22 friends can't stop texting me how much fun they had. We loved it and highly recommend booking a tour!!

We had an amazing time with Original Hamilton Beer Tours - we did a Hamilton tour. It was effortless. Angela organized the breweries and the vehicle. Driver (SANDY) was on time and super friendly and all around great. The bus had a music connection, which always makes for a good time. As well the bus had snacks and bottled water. The breweries were also well aware of us coming and were ready for us when we got there. We were given ample time at each brewery and never felt rushed. The pizza provided was INCREDIBLE, Everyone in the group had such a fabulous time! Thank you Original Hamilton Beer Tours for an amazing experience, can't wait to try the next one

We had a fantastic day touring local breweries with the Original Hamilton Beer Tour. The whole day was thoughtfully planned and well organized. Each brewery took the time to chat with us to explain their history and what’s special about their beers...as we sampled them! And the lunch we had at Merit was amazing! The tour bus they have was perfect…spacious enough to hold our group of 20. Would highly recommend this tour as a way to get out and experience the growing new culture of craft beer in Hamilton.

Really great experience and a super fun day. West Avenue Cider was a great starting spot and their ciders all had unique flavours. The other breweries were exceptional and the lunch at Merit was very tasty. I highly recommend this tour for all beer/cider lovers. Angela and Paul Ferris are excellent at organizing tours and I would highly recommend them for any travel needs.
