Tour worked out GREAT. However website user-friendliness and payment methods “appear” VERY sketchy (like I said though, worked our well for our school trip).

We have had the pleasure of working with MacDonald Tours for close to 20 years now. We travel to NYC, Boston, Montreal, Washington D.C and Chicago. As an educator I find that their excursions are always filled with educational and enjoyable content that captivates the attention of our students. They are always willing to work with us when planning our itinerary in order to ensure our experiences are tailored to our specific needs. Our students constantly look forward to these trips and they are definitely a highlight of every year. We even have former students who come back to chaperone because they love the trips so much. The staff at MacDonald Tours are committed to ensuring everyone’s safety, whether we're out and about exploring attractions or at the end of the day when we’re back at our hotels. We can’t wait until COVID is over and we get a chance to plan our next department trip with them. Highly recommend!!

I have used MacDonald Tours for four school trips. The tour company is very professional and addresses any concerns or comments immediately. We have travelled to New York City, Chicago and Washington DC. The itinerary has always been planned and executed perfectly, even with a few hiccups with a change in weather, there was always a backup plan in place. The students loved the sights they got to visit and the memories that were made. We have had a couple of different tour guides and have been happy with both. I do have to say that our favourite was Simon Langler. His interaction with the students and staff from start to finish is impeccable. He is a first class representative of MacDonald Tours, always on top of any concerns and one step ahead of everyone on being at our destination on time. We had problems with payments within the school system and MacDonald Tours implemented their own website with the ability to pay online. It made our payments so much easier and definitely less of a challenge. I highly recommend this tour company for any trip, as they provide a service that is affordable, personal and completely organized. Unfortunately our trip to New York was cancelled this year due to COVID 19. When things get back to normal, MacDonald tours will be first on my call list to organize our next trip.
