Should priorize. They can't drive my nana to get needles she needs because there's no space but they have no problem driving some other old folks that I know to church which isn't as important. They should accommodate.
I wouldn't have been able to attend College if it wasn't for DARTS. They provide outstanding service. I also get to meet a lot of interesting drivers.

There’s an interesting pattern of a lot of the 5 star reviews being made by people who only have reviewed this one place aka fake reviews. I work at office where lovely patients are constantly screwed over by this company. These people are in need of assistance and the drivers will leave the patients stranded just because the patient isn’t ready to leave BEFORE their scheduled departure time. Get your company organized and hire some drivers who aren’t jerks.
It's a hit and miss of the drivers whether you get a friendly one or a really rude one.

Transportation through Darts had been arranged and confirmed for my grandmother to take her to my sister's wedding. Not only were they over an hour late with no call, but they went to the incorrect pickup location. After trying to talk to the less then helpful office staff they refused to help help rectify the situation. Instead they chose to take the minutes before my sister walked down the aisle to try and 'prove' how the incorrect address was accurate despite my grandmother not having lived there in over 1.5 years and using the service since moving. Needless to say my grandmother missed her granddaughter walking down the aisle all because of the incompetence of this transportation company.
Heard this was the service here for the people with mobility challenges here in Hamilton and as a fellow co worker from DATS(Disabled Adult Transportation Service) with Edmonton Transit they are doing a good job out there that I have seen so far!!! Keep up the great work Brothers and Sisters of Hamilton DARTS!!! ????????
Vehicle #HV105 driving down Parkdale at 12:05 today did not make a stop at the railway. Probably not their first time.

Darts is a very important service. Too bad it is done so poorly. Once again today my 78 year old mothers ride did NOT show up to get her at the hospital. This is just the latest of poor service we have had to endure. We try not to complain as we need this service. But it is very less than stellar customer service. Darts needs an overhaul

I call to arrange rides for a elderly Christian at the retirement home. Even when it says you are first in line you can be waiting 20 minutes or more. It is very frustrating, when it takes less than a minute to make a reservation. One imagines their employees are busy chit chatting on the phone or doing something else besides work. This happens frequently.
DARTS is a hit or miss with their Drivers. I've had some real doozey Drivers. Extremely rude to me. I was involved in a accident with DARTS and it was the DARTS Driver's fault and they really didn't care that I got hurt. I'm terrified to sit in the same seat that I was in and I have major anxiety attacks to the point I puke. The one driver was so horrid to me that I actually had to call my husband and get him to leave work early to pick me up at another passenger's house. The Driver who got into the accident is still working for DARTS and it literally terrifies me to think that she is still driving for the them and that the next accident she gets in she might kill the person. I was 5 1/2 months Pregnant and I had a miscarriage because of that accident and my forehead and neck got injured in that accident. She didn't even report the accident to DARTS or the Insurance Company. I am still going through Physiotherapy because of this accident (November 29th, 2017) and I have never had a phone call from DARTS just to ask me how I am or anything like that. I had to report the accident to DARTS. The Driver didn't even follow protocol set out by DARTS. I have 2 other friends who work for DARTS and I have asked them many questions specifically towards this accident about DARTS Policies regarding accidents. According to my friends when an accident occurs the Driver is suppose to Radio in to Dispatch 1099 according to and Persuient to DARTS Policies which this never happened in this accident. All she wanted to do was get the other driver's information and carry on her way. When the other Driver (Later I found out the Driver was an undercover Police Officer) told her that he was not going to do that and he was going to call the Police she literally freaked right out and started cursing and swearing at him. Finally when the Police got there I didn't even want to be in the DARTS vehicle because I felt I was in danger. I thought if I spoke she would do something to me. I told her several times to watch the road and to stop texting on the Tablet in the vehicle and she totally ignored me and told me to "Shut Up and sit there". I called my husband right away and told him he had to come and get me. I was terrified. I still have anxiety attacks and nightmares because of that accident and some of the other Drivers don't make it any easier for me when every time I have to explain myself why I can't sit in the particular seat. It's clearly marked in my account with DARTS but the Drivers insist on not reading the notes in my account. The notes are put there for a reason and it's for my Safety in the DARTS. Forget trying to get a hold of ATS when you have a problem with one of the drivers because they don't answer the phone and when you leave a message for them they never call you back so I gave up. My husband got me DARTS because I can't ride the City Bus because of my Mental Illinesses. I don't do well in Crowds so I can't ride the City Bus. When the City Bus is crowded I have exteme anxiety attacks and most of the the time when I do want to take the City Bus it's way too crowded for me to even get on the Bus so I am always waiting at the stop for at least an hour or so, so I can wait for a Bus that's not so crowded and I can sit. When I do take the City Bus I sit in the front closest to the driver. I don't mind being smooshed against the padded rail thing. But if I'm sitting down on the bus and I see a Senior Citizen get on the bus and there is no other seats for them to sit I always offer up my seat even though I can't really stand because of me having surgery on my right ankle. So I can't stand for long periods of time. DARTS really needs to make it easier for people like me to drive in their vehicles. It needs to be more enjoyable. Most of the time I have a nightmare taking DARTS. THERE IS NO OTHER MODE OF TRANSPORTATION FOR ME TO TAKE.
I live in an area where there is lots of walkers, bikers, and dog walkers in the Neighbourhood. Pulling into my driveway to my house after a 14 hour shift, a Dart white van decided to speed down my street almost hitting me while I was reversing into my driveway in my car. If he had been paying attention and not ran threw the stop sign at the end of my street he would have noticed me reversing into my driveway. Instead he slammed on the brakes and I watched his passengers go flying. I live on a 40km road with speed bumps to reduce speeding. There is no way I felt safe with him driving on my street nor do I feel safe when I see these dart vans driving around my neighbour. To make insult to injury even better, the driver of this van thought it was a good idea to stop his van in front of my driveway and give me an intimidating look and stare at me making me feel threatened while I walked inside my home. Van plate number is CLEZ 734 new Toyota Sienna Van. I warn everyone to please when you see these vans, get off the road if you are biking or walking, step onto the grass if you are on the sidewalk. These drivers are dangerous, reckless and do not care for their occupants inside their vehicle nor do they care for others outside them. As Darts complain department nor Help line department never answered the phone, I resorted to calling the local authorities for reckless behaviour with a motor vehicle.
I want to give a big thumbs up and applaud Ryan in dispatch. He goes above and beyond for people. Whenever I am calling needing a ride, even the occasional same day ride, Ryan is always able to accommodate it! He goes out of his way to really look where many others don't. He is just so patient and understanding, has such a friendly voice and I really appreciate that.
Can someone please explain why darts drivers WITHOUT ANY PASSENGERS think they can park their van in the middle of a WALKWAY so they can run into a store, use the bathroom, buy their lunch...whatever.....those are needed for YOUR coworkers who are transporting PEOPLE, cab drivers transporting people abd people trying to go from the handicap spots into the building NOT for your lazy ass to not have to walk
My dad recently lost his drivers license and he is so stubborn. He refused to let anyone help him. Finally I got him to agree to use DARTS. It has changed his life and given him his independence back.
My wife and I experienced a very rude and nasty driver who could have taken the time to ask us to lower the volume on of Cell phones we we using to play a game to relive stress. Instead turned on her music so loud that if I was not deaf she would gave cased me too. Her excuse when ask to lower it was our phone we bothering her. How rude to play such instead of asking use to lower sound.

I am a 36 year old woman whose world changed by an accident. I am unable to stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I am super greatful to have a service that takes me safely door to door, not only for appointments but also for personal outings. Although I cannot drive anymore, I am able to find some normalcy by getting where I need to be. And most drivers make the trip worthwhile with a smile or coversation. Thank you!
Have been a passenger with Darts Transit for 10years and would be lost without this excellent service in all Departments. Reading some of the reviews feeling very disappointed as if you do not like the service where you be without it especially during the winter months. Now I have spoken to all Departments and have found them to be very helpful friendly and courteous. The drivers - all of them to be very Courteous Friendly patient and Compassionate. Thank you Darts Transit for providing an excellent essential service. Keep up the devoted career most passengers appreciate your devotion and smiles. My feelings Shame on you rather than going Public speak to Management or better still find another as myself a Senior not a Patient we are appreciative of this vital service.. Life is not perfect and all Company Employees try their best. The lady with their Mom requiring trip for needle. All trips are important including Medical especially CHURCH. One is to book Four Days in ADVANCE.

My husband and I were at the checkout of No Frills when a call came through the cashier that a blind couple would have to wait a further 20 minutes for the Darts bus, as the driver hadn't seen them at the door waiting We informed this couple (both blind) what the cashier had been told and they said they'd been waiting 45 minutes already. Apparently the previous day they waited 3 hrs. Now, wouldn't you think the driver would go into No Frills to fetch this (blind) couple? Shameful! Aren't there enough buses, we pay taxes for these services. And the drivers don't seem to know how to do their job. Hopefully this is an uncommon problem.
We are lucky to have this service. It isn't perfect but hard to complain. The drivers are usually very nice.
DARTS is an exemplary service that has been my main use of travel for years now. It’s drivers are kind and caring and ensure that they do the best they can in all driving conditions. Without DARTS I would be unable to make my appointments and social outings. As a valued service in this community I appreciate them

Im driving on Upper James and a Dart silver minivan just pulled out and cut me off..had to break and swerve to avoid a collision! Watching this driver weave in and out of traffic so irresponsibly! So disgusted I had to pull over and write this review.

I know a lot of people complain about the 15 minute window on either side of your pickup time that you have to wait..actually I find that unavoidable for a transit service like this one with all the variables they deal with HOWEVER the 2 stars is due to their horrible phone booking system. It's easily always a 20 minute wait when a client calls to book a ride. Maybe this is to encourage people to use the online booking system but darts needs to keep in mind that the population it serves is not necessarily internet saavy

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience which caused me a lot of stress. The dispatch office is disconnected and unorganized. The main office does not know where anything is, even around their own building complex. I was not able to get assistance when needed. The number I was given went unanswered. They declare their time is of the utmost importance to them but don't recognize the value of other peoples time and how their lack of co-ordination wastes it. I do not recommend DARTS.
