Tried contacting Lubna and Mr. Mehmood who is apparently the owner of this company but they are not taking my calls. The main number for Al barkah travel is not working now and they are not taking any calls. Extremely upset and ready to get my legal team involved now. Highly unprofessional company , I had worst travelling experience of my life , they would never refund your money if you are stuck, also they might charge you extra , the owner has full control and staff can do nothing except booking your tickets, asking your credit card and take the money from you , and then no body will be there if you have any issue, recently i had to file an official complaint against them. Hi- I called your office many time ( phone and text) but you are not answering. I bought the tickets back in Feb 2019 and we were unable to travel because of Covid 19. All Beware... I heard they have closed their business and have moved into real estate. They may have filed for bankruptcy which means anyone who has money invested with them is not going to get it back. I would suggest to contact your bank and if you have paid thru a credit card, raise a services not tendered complain about them. But it may be too late now. I bought 5 tickets to Pakistan thru their agency and was lucky enough to file a complain because i paid thru my credit card, I got my 11,000 dollars back just in time before they closed down their business. Does any one know what real estate business they have opened up?

Mahmood bhai is very good , he collect your money get you tickets very fast But I would like to all people who are going for Umrah be careful be careful , Mahmood bhai will give you assurity that driver will come to pick you up from Jeddah airport it's all fraud . Specially if you are going with your family very carefully he lie , no body will come to pick you up May be you end up calling him back in Canada and requesting him please don't do this I have family with me arrange driver which you alredy paid him . He have one driver with name of HUSSAIN do not trust him he lie never show up . I had very very very bad experience with his driver in saudia. It is my advise for all people who are buying package for Umrah don't trust him and his driver in Saudia . His drivers turn off their mobile and you will end up in frustration standing some where with your loved ones . These are the people who make money like this and looking for Halal meat here Careful

I bought PIA round trip tickets for my family from Albarkah Travel and Tours Milton 1st week of Feb 2020. PIA cancelled flight due to COVID-19 and informed us. PIA full refund to Albarkah Travel and Tours Milton on June 24th. I am trying to reach out Albarkah Travel and Tours Milton through email, phone and text messages for refund since flight cancelled by PIA. So far, I received 1 email reply against various emails from owner Mian Mahmood Bashir on June 16th mentioned that Albarkah applied for refund. We will refund you once we receive refund from PIA. They are big liar and playing game. Extremally poor customer service and their flight consultant are not willing to guide and help you. I strongly recommend DON’T do business with Albarkah Travel and Tours Milton. Please take your business somewhere else if you are planning for any type of trip. Learn from my bad experience and please share with your family and friends.

Worst experience and service. Because of the pandamic we had to cancel our flight for which they charged close to half of the ticket price and agreed to send a cheque back for the rest. Now they say it can only be a credit note. Not the money back. Like that wasnt the initial agreement. Plus what if the airline goes bankrupt later. Will never deal with these guys again.

Due to unfortunate incident of pandemic my regular return flight was canceled and I had to come through to one of the special flights. I was told by the airline agent that my return flight money will be refunded through my travel booking agent and I should contact them. I followed the process with the booking agent Lubna Warsi and gave all the relevant documents for the refund. After that radio silence its been almost 6 months I haven't gotten the money back. In my knowledge airline has already issued refunds to people within a month. Hey are dodging my calls and giving me fake numbers to call the 'relevant person' Mehmood Bashir. They are a big fraud and have taken alot of peoples money.

Salam, there is a reason I did not rate the company 5 stars, please read comments in the end to learn some tips. The owner is a pleasure to work with as follows: Knowledge of business: very good Co-operation: very good Responsiveness: very good Professionalism: very good Hotel was good with big room and 4 beds. The seats at the airplane were carefully selected. Thanks Mahmood Bhai. However, the ground transportation in Jeddah is very unreliable. The driver did not show at the airport. We were stranded at Jeddah airport for almost one hour with no driver at the scene. I had to tip my porter heavily to help me with language barrier and communicate with different drivers and the contact person (company's driver) to arrange the ride. The designated driver cell was off and we had to contact him through what's app number. Finally we were taken to the hotel by a different driver, the company took the tab for the ride. Please take an unlocked cell phone with you and buy sim at the airport (if you could) to contact the driver. If you are staying in clock tower, then be ready to assume some administrative duties on behalf of the local driver. You need to call him well before time to remind him of your pick up time. You need to take the plate number from the driver and go to security on floor -2 just 30 minutes (or make your own judgement) before the arrival time. Give plate number to the security and ask them to inform the guards at security gates. I had to learn the hard way by heavily tipping the bell boy, who helped me with the procedure. He also made number of calls to the driver to make sure he arrives and enters the tower. The ground transportation was not the best. I called the owner after coming back and he assured to take suggestions and give it consideration. Thank you for listening Mahmood bhai. Hope our experience was just one time affair. Kindly.

Do not purchase tickets from these scammers! The salesperson, Lubna sold us tickets using wrong flight information, then blamed us for “not checking”. When we spoke to the owner, Mehmood, he was very rude and again kept putting the blame on us, when it was HIS sales rep who sold us the wrong tickets to begin with. They refused to offer us any refund/exchange for this transaction, when it was THEIR mistake – THEY DO NOT VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. When we told mehmood we won’t be referring his company to others, he replied with “I don’t care about referrals, my business makes millions as is”. Well if he doesn’t care about customer service, please DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They’ll trick you in to a sale and then refuse to take ownership.

Giving one star because that is the lowest one can give. Had there been any negatives would have gladly given so. My troubles started when i asked these guys to refund my ticket to Pakistan which i could not execute due to some change in priorities. Firstly ot was difficult to get a hold of the person from whom i got the ticket to get information on my refund, when after a few days i got hold of the person she said that apart from the airline charges of cancellation they will charge 100 cad as penalty. In the email that the person sent with the ticket it mentioned they will charge 50cad only but there was no mention of these other fees that came in the equation. I asked the travel agent to explain to me why there is this additional charge, they did not reply in a manner that i was satisfied with. I was adamant to pay only the amount i was notified of, subsequent to this the agent had a conversation with the boss and lowered the charge to 65 cad but i could not digest it as the amount on the email said 50cad, why should i be paying more than what was notified? After recieveing pushback from my self the agent put me in contact with the owner Mr.Mehmood himself. What an absoloute nightmare of a person to deal with. He got pretty agitated on the phone and started yelling out the phone that he has this right to charge these undisclosed penalties that he can apply on me and that he had not done a favour by selling me this ticket and had a very threatening tone and said things like if you want a refund you will give me this 100cad. Zero customer care what so ever. So much was the frustration that i had to reach out to TICO with my case as this was getting pretty un reasonable. Anyhow, i asked them to process my refund with 65 cad charge but Mr.Mehmood went bck on his word of lowering it to 65 ( which i have in an email) to saying i will get a refund only if i pay a 100cad. After this i sent an email for them to process my refund but they did not reply as if it felt they wanted my ticket refund time to lapse. Then i got an email from the agent that the refund was processed but to date they have not tolde how much the refund is and i have sent 4 reminders to them to do so. They also did not give a recient for my booking change. Apart from that the person charged me 9pcad to change a flight schedule although they mentioned 50 cad as the rate for change of flight and they also said that this is fare change which i checked on PIA website was absoloutely se on those days. What a nightmare this place is, in my 28years of travelling never have i dealt with this kind of an attitude from a place that is supposed to a 'service' to customers. They talk so sweet before they book the ticket after that they think it is their way or the highway.

Worsrt travel agency to deal with. Rather than reimbursing us our ticket costs in full which the airline itself refunded due to COVID, the owner decided to pocket it instead, offering us a credit note. That too after assuring us of getting a full refund. After multiple unsuccessful attempts of establishing any contact, my husband and I filed a complaint with our credit card company and with TICO. The cc company took their time investigating but finally reimbursed us in full just recently. I hope TICO will take a stern action against this fraudulent company. Please take my advise and save yourself misery and pain and take your business anywhere but here.

Bought a ticket and had to change it due to my situation, and little Moodi at the travel agency charged $900 to change a ticket that was worth $1500. He told me thats what the airline was charging but never gave me a receipt from the airline which I asked for few times. Service is not good.

Please don't choose this agency for your travel need, they are a fraudulent travel agency. Our trip got canceled due to the COVID and eventhough airline and hotels have already refunded the owner Mian Mahmood, but he only wants to issue credit note and that was only issued when Tico was involved. He stops responding to emails or phone calls with any answer or explanation. I have made complaints with all agencies involved about this travel agent. Please don't book any trips with them. Save your self the hassle.

We purchased tickets from this agency in February 2020 and when our tickets were cancelled in March 2020 due to the pandemic, they promised us that we will get refund but they are not giving us anything back. Al-Barkah Travel refused to give refund in March 2020. Since September travel agent keep giving me fake dates of booking until he exhausted and told me the owner is not replying to his phone calls. Not to mention he told me the company license is expired. This will never build trust on them again. I'm done with them. Updated: Google showing site offline. Being a business owner this is not the way to fool their 10 years old customers. Mahmood Bashir (Owner) and Majid Muzaffar (Agent) are the two names I would like to mention to be careful with them in future business in Canada so no one will suffer as I suffered. In 2014 I purchased my first ticket through al barkah and haven't gone anywhere else since then. Aside from having the best prices, the service is above and beyond. My family and I had planned to go to the middle east for months but we realized immediately we needed to come back home. Mahmood was able to accommodate us right away despite the fact that all flights were completely booked. Excellent service and quick response time make it easy to book through them and even face any unforeseen circumstances you might encounter while travelling. Highly recommend to everyone!
