Look, it is what you expect. Lots of companies leaving flyers, some knick knacks and souvenirs. Here's the real trick. Get off for the VIC, then rejoin the highway and you bypass the NS screening center. Save yourself 20 minutes.

Stopped in to see the monument to Beaubassin since I have ancestry from there. Good place to stop for information and restrooms. Some vending machines, also, if I remember correctly. Lots of parking and you can stretch your legs walking around. Very close to places where some of my Acadian ancestors lived. I would love to go to visit again someday and view the new Beaubassin facilities nearby and be able to walk where my ancestors lived.

The view around is great and offers various photo opportunities. There is also seating in the ensemble and invite you to linger. It is definitely worth stopping there. Also for historically interested there is information on some boards located next to the building. (Original) Gleich am Eingang der Provinz gleich neben dem Highway lädt dieser Ort zu einer Rast ein. Man wird über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziel von Nova Scotia informiert, kann sich mit Souvenirs eindecken oder einen Kaffee genießen. Die Mitarbeiter sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht rings herum ist toll und bietet diverse Fotomotive. Auch Sitzgelegenheiten gibt es in dem Ensemble und laden zum verweilen ein. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall dort anzuhalten. Auch für historisch Interessierte gibt es Informationen an einigen Tafeln sich neben dem Gebäude befinden.

Don't miss this place if you are new to Nova Scotia or if you are traveling in Nova Scotia as a tourist. Situated a little bit off road from the highway exactly where are you enter from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia (at the border of the two provinces). It is on a small mountain where you can see around and rest a little bit while obtaining your information. To enter the building you must have to prove that you are fully vaccinated against COVID 19.

Stopped by 3 times during our bus tour of the Maritimes last year. They have a great friendly staff with an assortment of info such as maps and brochures. The visitors centre and store are located in a beautiful scenery lookout. Washrooms were generally clean. In addition they have a nice store with all sorts of souvenirs, T-shirts, and other clothing that reflect the region. I liked the book section. Was able to find historical book reading of the region both for myself and my 9 year old son. We both are sure we'll love reading these wonderful books!

Cold if they know you are from Ontario or west of Ontario they will not even great you or say hi....They wanted us out faster than we got in the door....For the 2021 season Nova Scotia is not worth the trip....
