It was a great tour with Jeff. The tour is really private, in a small group. Jeff knows a lot about Halifax and Nova Scotia in total and provides uncommon knowledge about the area. After the tour you will be an expert in Nova Scotian history! Absolutely recommendable.

Jeff is a great guide who is passionate about what he does. Aside from the history of the places we visited, he also shared stories about the locals which made the tour more memorable. Our group had a lot of time to walk around, eat, take pictures and experience Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Peggy's Cove on our own pace. We had a wonderful time and we definitely recommend booking a tour with Anchor Tours.

Jeff was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. We did the Lunenburg/Peggy’s Cove tour and found that we spent the perfect amount of time at each location. There was a short information tour at the beginning of each with time to explore on our own. Perfect!

My friend and I took the Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg tour in June 2019. We really enjoyed the personal service Nicole and Jeff gave us. They were knowledgeable and really nice! They cater to smaller groups which suited us well! The next time I am Halifax I will definitely take one of their tours again. This was a great tour. We went all day. The drivers were accommodating and friendly. Lunch was great, I liked that I got to chose what I was having for lunch. The history that was given by the tour guide was amazing and I learned a lot.

Soooo glad we happened upon Jeff and Anchor Tours! He planned the perfect day sightseeing Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. Great historical background of the area and very pleasant personality. Also gave us ample time to explore ourselves. Wonder way to spend 8hrs in a lovely part of the country! Highly recommend!
