They do not serve food on Sunset cruise which was disappointing. You can only get snacks or leftovers from historic cruises that day.

First time in Ottawa so of course we had to take a tour and what better way than by boat. First thing that helped up make the choice on which tour was the two gentlemen on the street selling the tour. They were funny and very personable. The tour itself was really nice and the boat was equipped with a small bar. The guide was fairly new but, she did an excellent job. The tour didn't last more than an hour which gave us time to experience other sites.

Great value - the boat is in excellent shape and very clean, the guides are nice and friendly. Only 4 stars because there is smoking off the back deck which affected us sitting at the back of the upper deck.

It's okay. The cruise itself and staff is good. The views are good to Ottawa's main attractions but soon runs off. It would be great if it was like a hip on hop off between multiple locations allowing some local exploration on both sides of the river.

Great views from the ship and great explanations of buildings and scenes around the river. Definitely enjoyable to take a cruise at sunset! Food options limited and expensive, but popcorn was pretty good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise yesterday and would highly recommend Capital Cruises to anyone! The staff was very friendly, and the live on-board commentary about what we were seeing on the cruise was detailed and informative. I'd like to particularly thank you Andrew, who was kind enough to honour our tickets from August. We did not end up using our tickets for the cruise that we had booked, and we failed to speak with a representative of Capital Cruises about our change of plans at the time. Andrew accommodated us all the same, which we sincerely appreciated. It demonstrated the company's commitment to customer service. Just did the Historic Sightseeing Tour with a group of students. I had contacted Capital Cruises once by phone and then by email with oquestions. They were very helpful in both cases and responded promptly. I was able to advance purchase online. All-in-all a very enjoyable experience for our group. Cruise was not too long. The friendly guide gave interesting info without overwhelming us. Our group of teenagers loved it!

It was a fantastic 1 hour cruise. Very impressive. The boat guides were full of information. We got to see the Prime ministers house, ambassadors houses including that of the United States and France as well as the Canadian Museum of History. I will encourage anyone on a visit to Ottawa to get on the boat tour.

Andrew is an amazing guy !! Very dedicated to the Boat Line and his customers . Captain Logan is very friendlt and inviting as well as knowledgeable. Evan was so well spoken and gave a friendly infomative talk while we travelled . Over all staff were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make ys feel welcomed . Looking forward to a dinner cruise in the near future . I honestly can not say enough good things about this company . Clean ,tidy well maintained boat and bar . Staff were well dressed / classy and professional. Thank you all so very much !!

I would not recommend doing business with this company. The staff was very unprofessional. I was trying to organize a team recognition event. I spoke to a gentleman who gave me a price for a group based on 30 people. It took them a week to reply to my email and when I finally got a call back, they told me there was no way they could accommodate us for that price and basically laughed in my face. I had to speak with 3 different people, there seems to be very poor internal communication within that company! I would never organize an event with them again!

The cruise was well maintained and clean. The staff were neatly dressed. The tour guide was fluent both in English and French and he gave great details of the buildings. We missed to reach the boarding point on time and hence waited for more than hour for our river tour. So, reach before half an hour.

My best friend and I had a wonderful time on the dinner cruise. The food (buffet style) was great and the entertainment (Danny Richard) was awesome. Unfortunately there was no complimentary beverage—not even tea, coffee, or water. The staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend the dinner cruise if you want to spend an enjoyable summer evening in Ottawa.

Nice double decker boat tour. Nice sights from the water. They provide beverages and snacks to purchase on the lower deck, and yes some alcoholic for the adults. The tour guide was wonderful and explained every view and sight in both French and English.

Unfortunately I did not get to try out this tour cruise, since they suggested I be there 20min before the departure time, I arrived and the boat had already left. It would be great if they could stick to a schedule. Probably would of been a great cruise but terrible customer service on their behalf.

The cruise was okay but on the website it mentioned that it was approximately 75 minutes and it reality it was 50 minutes from start to finish. I would also suggest they get better music in between the historic site announcements. I wouldn't do this one again.

A delightful, clean, and spacious boat with three decks. Very professional and super-friendly crew. The guide for this bilingual tour was witty and engaging and did a careful and thorough explanation of safety procedures before we began. The cruise itself was very enjoyable -- you could travel a long way before finding a more dramatic and lovely river setting! We broke down and tried the on-board hotdogs and they were excellent too.

Their customer service is very bad. Their boat captain and boss are threaten and violence with the others. Their boat service is very bad compare with the other boat cruise services in Ottawa. Before reserve any tickets with them better find the other cruise services first.

So not easy to reach them on phone. I called several times to get some information on how to book for a private event. They don't pick up and when left a message no one calls back. So desapointed with the customer service. I hope they will one day pick up or call me back.
