As of day the business receives a score of 4.7 out of 5 and this score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is almost the best, and it's founded on a very large number of scores, so we can think that the valuation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

A nice place to stay the tour was great we went to bolt castle had lots of fun
Brad was an awesome tour guide. Very informative. Everyone was amazing. Highly recommend
Awesome boat tours not to big. And not to small, had a great time. Open during the the summer.
Historically informative and entertaining. Would recommend the tour.
LOVED IT!!!
To start, we were on time and had to wait until 10 minutes after in the baking sun. Thankfully we had put sunscreen on, but all they have to wait on are benches with zero cover. Please put some cover up, even if it's just umbrellas. Besides that, the captain and tour guide were excellent- both friendly and knowledgeable.
Great tour.
The 5 hour tour with stops at Boldt Castle and Rock Island was great. Since the boats are smaller compared to other tour companies it provides for a more intimate and personal experience. Would absolutely recommend you take the tour!
Clayton Island tours was a hit with the whole family. We did the Boldt Castle tour. The staff was knowledgeable and entertaining on the boat ride to and from the castle. It was nice to hear some of the history of the area. We will certainly take other tours from this company.
The boats are small and comfortable not overcrowded. The captain and crew were entertaining and Boldt Castle is very nice with the flowers and landscaping.
Had a great ride on the Saint Lawrence.
Very relaxing boat tour with friends, and we got to tour the inside of the lighthouse too.
Highly recommend the ROCK ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE TOUR, so reasonably priced too. Make sure you climb the lighthouse.
Great tour
Funny crew, wonderful ride to castle, will do again!
Great staff
We had a great time!
Awesome time
Very informative and accommodating for our trip with a toddler! Fun
Fantastic tour!
Guide was extremely informative and friendly.
Reasonable price small enough tours that they feel very personalized!!!
Great trip with a good captain and guide. The seinery was amazing and the guide knew the history of the area and places we past by.
The tour was great as were all of the employees we spoke to! We really enjoyed our tour!
Our group of 6 had a FABULOUS time on the Boldt Castle and 2 Nation Tour! A big shout out to KATIE, our tour guide, and to CAPTAIN SKIP! Katie gave the perfect amount of information while allowing us to sometimes simply listen to the various sounds of the beautiful St. Lawrence River. She told us interesting wildlife and river facts, and fun and inside real estate information about who lived in some of the beautiful island homes. What my teenagers liked was that she came around a few times during the tour privately asking if we had any questions for her. That way, our questions weren't being broadcasted over the speakers and our family felt more at ease with asking questions and having their questions answered privately. Skip was an awesome captain knowing exactly how to handle the waves when big cruise boats would zoom by and we just loved how he drove in-between a smaller group of islands. We were given a little over 1 1/2 hours at the castle...Boldt Castle is beautiful and magnificent! SO VERY GLAD we chose Clayton Island Tours for the smaller and more personal cruise experience!
Staff was friendly.
Daniel was awesome! very knowledgeable for a young man thanks it was wonderful!
Very much not there. Impossible to find a person. Boats did not look that sharp anyway. Better boats at Port Alexandria.
The trip to Casa Blanca was informative , relaxing and well worth the money. We were made to feel like we were welcome on the island and in the home. Sights were fabulous and all the crew was very accommodating. Probably will book another tour in the future. Thank you
We had a great tour! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
The tour guide was excelient. Learned so much about Boldt Castle, and Thousand Islands.
Great tour and good value. The whole tour takes 3 hours, but it's broken up by 45 minutes on one of the islands. Very beautiful, and informative. Best of all, it's natural air conditioning in the summer!
What a great tour! The main attractions of the Thousand Islands, Boldt Castle and the Rock Island Lighthouse, all in 5 hours! Our tour guide, a life long Clayton resident, was very funny and knowledgeable about the area's history, which added more value to the tour and boat ride! We were given a brown bag lunch, which comes in handy after listening to all the information coming from the guide and realizing you've forgotten to eat...you can also bring it with you to eat while on the Boldt Castle grounds outside. We were given enough time to explore the castle grounds and not much time will be needed for the lighthouse, since the grounds are limited, but you do have enough time to walk up the lighthouse!
This tour was a lot of fun and well worth the money! Very accommodating and knowledgeable.
Liam and Captain Steve gave us a lovely and informative tour of the St Lawrence river. We did add the lunch option which was quite nice for a box lunch. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for explore our natural wonder.
Great place to get a tour of the river. Captain Skip and First Mate Bill definitely made the trip to Rock Island Lighthouse a journey we won't forget! Glad we took the glass bottom boat got to see some of the history below the waters of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
A really great tour. Informative and fun tour guide Mike and Captain Skip! Hope they fix your microphone on the Osprey Mike. We'll worth the price.
Fantastic company, friendly, helpful, professional. Captain Steve and Liam were awesome.
Knowledgeable and humorous! Great experience!
Nice ride across the St.Lawrence.
We had a great time on the Sunset cruise. The two guys doing the tour were fun and kept everything interested. The views were amazing. Highly recommend the tour.
Nice adventure
Fun trip. Very informative.
The ride was fantastic. The crew were very friendly and very informative. Great for all ages. We learned a lot about the islands. Would definitely recommend it.
Such a great time on the Boat Tour! I woukd definitely do it again The Boldt Castle is beautiful!
The crew was awesome. Very informative and entertaining. They were great with my two girls 6&4.
Best tour in the 1000 islands!
Can't begin to say enough good things about my experience here! We were staying in Hammond, NY, and found this tour in a visitors guide. Went online, and found that we could book a 2 hour and 45 minute tour in a glass-bottomed boat to Rock Island Lighthouse in the Thousand Islands. The price was very good for the value- there were quite a few interesting points that were visited and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable (and humorous). There was also an option to purchase a lunch for an additional $10, which turned out to be way better than I expected. Options were plentiful and included a side, a bag of chips, cookies, and a drink. The lunches were made in a food truck on site, and they also had fried cheese curds!!!!!! Best fried cheese curds I have ever eaten. As for the tour, the stop at the Rock Island lighthouse was nothing short of amazing. There is plenty of room to roam about the island for pictures, a small museum/gift shop to browse, and most importantly- the lighthouse! The tour guide took small groups of people up into the top of the lighthouse and gave a brief history of the island. He was very passionate about the history, and that made the lesson even more interesting. The remainder of the tour also included many historical points of interest such as sunken ships, shoals, islands, underwater features and locations of former structures. Along the way, additional sights such as gigantic ocean going vessels and wildlife are also viewed. I highly recommend Clayton Island Tours if you are in the area and want to explore a bit.
Best tour ever! Captain Joe and tour guide Brad were the best. We will be back!
Great fireworks boat ride
Brad was a great Tour Guide. But you don't get enough time at Boldt Castle there is a lot of things to see and we had to rush thru the castle in order to make it back to our boat on time and the cold bagged lunch was horrible sandwich and macaroni salad were very bland tasting . But sights to see on the boat were beautiful
The atmosphere was very friendly. The tour was very informative. The boat ride was very smooth. 3.5 h was a perfect length of time to visit BoldCastle and enjoy the ride. Dave Baldwin was the best!
The tour was very informative was a great day for being on the water. Tour guide and captain were awesome.
Matt was a very funny and knowledgeable tour guide and Captain Ron was so sweet to let all the kids on the boat take a turn at the wheel. We will be going back for more tours!
Great price for the tour. Captain and tour guide were knowledgable and boat was sanitized before use. Optional meal was pretty good and chicken tenders were made fresh when we got there rather than being made ahead.
Announcer Mike is fun & has corny jokes and Cap'n Jack didn't sink the boat! Some guests failed to follow the mask rules and didn't follow the number limit on the deck.
Service was very good. Crew was professional and informative.
Very pleasant and informative We took the Rock Island lighthouse tour, with Captain Jack and April. April was interesting and informative, providing lots of stories and facts about the Thousand Islands in general, and individual islands in particular. We got a good sense of both the history and the natural environment of the area. The boat itself was basic, but completely sufficient for the purpose. (Don't expect luxury here, and it helps to bring your own food/snacks.) We got some interesting views of the riverbed in a few places through the glass bottom. Definitely recommended.
Very personal and educational. Always something new to learn.
Very knowledgeable guide. Enjoyed the boat trip to Bolt castle. Professional and fun.
Great family fun!
Awesome tour.....captain and first mate were very informative.
Very friendly operation. Good tour.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Rock Island Lighthouse Tour. They were friendly and informative and the scenery is beautiful.
We contracted and paid to privately charter a 50 passenger boat for 7.5 hours for our wedding. During the wedding, without our knowledge, they scheduled then snuck away with our catering, purses, wedding items , etc to pick up an unrelated tour group and bring them to our wedding venue . No explanation, no prior notification, no phonecall ,no resolution of this contract violation. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and wholly untrustworthy. Do not use this service.
I had an amazing time. Our guide was very informative of area and had lots of funny stories to tell which kept our attention throughout the ride. Our Captain took the boat through areas which had amazing houses on US and Canada side and was very skilled at navigating boat, even through the areas where some fisherman randomly stopped in the middle of canal and Captain had to navigate around their boat with narrow passages in either side. Lastly Boldt Castle was a fun experience. Got to know a little bit more about American life/people during the gilded age. Thank you for the wonderful time guys!
Nice fact filled ride on the St. Lawrence.
Nice cruise on the St. Lawrence among the islands. Highlight has to be Bolts Castle on Heart island.
Awesome, breathtaking and any other positive adjective I could find.
Very well informed staff and humorous…just right amount of time….exceeded my expectations!!!
Had a great time, didn't know they served on the boat made it even better to have a drink or two
Pretty nice , Mike keep it lively
Friendly staff
Great quality tour. Side note if you get the boldt castle and boat house tour their cruise doesn't offer enough time to do the boat house and the castle but the boat house is only a 20 minute drive
Boat was small not want I expected for a party boat. Had a terrible selection of alcohol. But the tour guide was great and Brad was a great bartender. Not sure I would pay that price again
I reserved the tour to Thousands Island and the Boldt Castle. The tour lady is knowledgeable and the food is delicious. We had enough time to take the pictures at the Boldt Castle.
We had a great time! The tour guide Mike was knowledgeable and funny. The boat is smaller, so you get a more personal experience. Highly recommended!
Great tour. I recommend sitting on the front. Shades/wind blockers available. Tour guides are very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, open, and funny. The captain is skilled. Great stories and incredible views await you on the tour. Online lunch is available. They deliver it to you and you can enjoy a fresh lunch on the River. It is a great tour and worth the money.
Enjoyable boat ride to a lighthouse. learned a bit of history about the St. Lawrence River from our excellent tour guide.
We had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable & it was neat to learn about the history of the islands!
Had a wonderful trip around the island’s. Informative and fun!
The crew was VERY friendly and we had a great time. It was a wonderful way to spend the day - just floating along the St. Lawrence seeing all the gorgeous homes - hearing all the stories of the Gilded Age - touring the castle on Heart Island and the lighthouse on Rock Island . . highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing way to view the Thousand Islands.
Had a custom cruise for a birthday party. Captain Dave will take you places even River Rats forget about. Great boat, great service.
Wonderful trip . Good guide with liads of information about the islands. Fun
The Boldt Castle Tour with Liam was fabulous! We had a great ride touring the area and learning lots of facts. There is not a better way to spend a day here in the Thousand Islands. I have taken this similar tour with other local companies and loved the more intimate experience with Clayton Island Tours. Highly recommend!
Lively place
Had 10 am boldt castle tour and was fun morning. Our guide was funny informative and knew the islands well.
Fantastic cruise to rock island park
Great guides. Friendly atmosphere. Glass bottom boats were a pleasant surprise. I've been coming to the Island for 50+ years and this was a new experience.
Beautiful trip...
Nice trip and a very good guide Detailed and interactive rides are provided Food for the trip can be ordered along with the trip booking.. Very good and wholesome meal is given
The boat ride was fun! They mentioned the names of many islands and interesting details. Having a bag lunch made it easy for us to arrive and go. Very friendly staff.
A good tour agency. Very friendly folks, gives you good tips on enjoying your tour. Makes you feel good even on a foggy day on the river
What a fantastic trip. Guide incredibly knowledgeable about the entire region. We learned so much. So friendly & fun. Great way to see Boldt castle & surrounding islands/area. Thank you!!
Wonderful tour!
A great value. You get a generous tour of the islands for the ticket price. Friendly staff.
Really enjoyed the boat ride and stop at Rock island Lighthouse. Price was reasonable and very different from Uncle Sam's.
Sack lunch wasn't what I was thinking but still a great time
I was very impressed with the Thousand Island snd Bolt Castle tour. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable of the area. It made it so interesting and educational. I had a fantastic time. It was such a beautiful day!
This was a perfect day trip experience. The river tour was enjoyable and relaxing. We also liked that we could have lunch on the boat.
Fantastic
Hands down the best boat tour in the thousand island region. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and made the tour so enjoyable and interesting. I’ve done the other boat tours twice and they don’t give hardly any information but boat u around. On this tour the guide tells you about everything you go by and it is much more intimate and less commercialized. Highly recommend, fun for the whole family!
Great experience.. will definitely come back
We took the two country and Boldt Castle tour. Our guide was knowledge and funny, keeping things interactive. The islands are gorgeous! Thanks for a great tour
Beautiful trip
Nice people. More intimate tours. They get in places where the bigger tour companies can't.
Very informative and they kept the tour interesting
Had a great time on the water to Rock Island LIGHTHOUSE
Great tour! Fun guide; excellent captain. I loved that the tour was small, and not being on a massive boat!
Very nice tour of the islands. Great narration.
This was the perfect way to see the 1000 Islands! I've taken many boat tours in different places but this was by far the best. Some tours take you on massive boats packed with people and that makes it hard to hear or see your guide, this was the perfect size boat and passengers. And the guide had a mix of fascinating facts and interesting stories about the islands and their million dollar houses we passed. I had concerns that we wouldn't have enough time on our stops (especially Boldt castle) to see everything but that was not at all what our experience was. I never felt rushed or felt like I missed anything. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the 1000 islands!
Amazing service and awesome destinations, I highly recommend!
Had a good time with their boat tour. Captain of the boat and staff were really friendly and welcoming. We took 3.5hrs tour which is really nice and learned about historical facts along the river. Definitely will be back again next year.
Great guide and lovely ride on the seaway. Loved seeding the lighthouses and learning about the history of the region.
We went on the ultimate 5 hour cruise yesterday. It was an awesome trip. We stopped at Boldt castle and rock island. We had a great time. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the islands.
Boat ride was very nice. The scenery as we made our way to Boldt Castle was so pretty! The tour guide Liam was very knowledgeable about the history of the islands and everything surrounding them. The lunch that was a part of the package was very good. Highly recommend!
informative and fun experience. reasonable cost. the captain and tour guide made a great team -- sharing tons of facts and humor. thanks for nice day on the water.
Good boat tour ... only sad we couldn't climb Rock Island Lighthouse.
Great tour, maybe a little less commentary, would be more tranquil on the water...
Love this tour. Been on it twice now.
The cruise was very enjoyable and the Tour guide was very informative. I would highly recommend.
Beautiful tours!
We had such a great time with Clayton Island Tours. The staff there is so friendly and make sure you enjoy every bit of the tour. First, a huge thank you to the really nice lady at the cute booking desk. And then we had Katie as our tour guide, she was so good at her job, answering all the queries and sharing so much information and happily so. She shared information about not only the islands but also about restaurants around town and other activities besides her company. She really made the tour worth it. It's definitely a must do while in Clayton.
It was wonderful tour with the Clayton Island tours team. The captain and the guide were wonderful and very knowledgeable.
Nice guided tour of the Thousand Islands area in the St. Lawrence River, with a stop at the famous Boldt Castle. Entertaining tour guide. A very pleasant experience.
Awesome tour. Very informative with lots of historic lore. The Captain "Chuck" was very experienced & did a great job of getting us in & around the islands, safely!
Good Tour, but not for social distancing. There were too many people to maintain 6 foot distance and mask wearing was not enforced. The captain wore his mask with nose exposed and as soon as we took off the tour guide removed his mask. I didn’t feel comfortable and as a result did not move from my seat the entire tour to get pictures or a better view on the deck. The tour part was good but I didn’t feel that they took proper safety measures. If you are concerned about maintaining social distance and mask wearing, then I suggest postponing your tour until another year.
It was an amazing tour!!
Had a great time with Capt Jack and Mike. Excellent and safe. Beautiful weather made our boat trip even better.
We really enjoyed using Clayton Island tours. It was easy to find the parking lot and the parking was free. Our young guide did an excellent job explaining the history of the 1000 islands while we went to and returned from Boldt Castle. We felt the ride was just as interested in but better than the castle visit. Well with the $25 fee. We liked the smaller atmosphere of this boat tour over the larger boats. We did feel safe during the ride. Seeing the mansions on the islands was very interesting. Thanks for the fun day!
The host tried to be entertaining
Took the 2 hour tour Castles and Lighthouses. Very enjoyable. Well worth the fee.
Awesome boat tour!
We head a beautiful day on the water. Guide knew when to talk and when to let us enjoy the scenery.
Loved it!
We had the best day with Captain Scott and Mike our tour guide. We did the 5 hour tour and it was a great day. Fun, informative and relaxing. We loved the tour of the castle and light house. Lunch was yummy and the whole trip was a delight. 100% recommend this!
We had a fun trip. Seemed more intimate with the river than the giant tour boats.
Highly recommended great tour, great guide (Daniel) and wonderful Captain (Cpt.Chuck) we spend 3.5 hrs between US, CAN and had a wonderful time at Boldt Castle ( Heart Island)
Canceled our original reservation with just 45 minutes notice. Rebooked us later but we had already left for original reservation. Tour guide was very green and stumbled through the information. Got it all out eventually but it was disjointed and confusing. Captain was professional and able and the water/scenery was beautiful. Would tour again with this company overall.
The boat ride was relaxing and the tour guide did a great job. Highly informative and humorous!
The boat tour and scenery plus the important places , the Bolt Castle and the Rock Island light house were excellent. What I had problems with was the speaking delivery of the tour guide. He seemed very knowledgeable and full of information, but, he spoke too fast for my audio intake, and the quality of the speakers didn't help. I only could distinguish about a third of what he was saying. The speakers sounded somewhat muffled against the noise of the boat engine. Otherwise, we had a beautiful day.
Took a tour of Boldt Castle, and cruised past several islands. The guide Mike, was very knowledgeable of the area, and was very funny. He made what could have been a boring boat ride entertaining.
Tour guides were well prepared & knowledgeable about the history of the 1000 Islands. Made the trip fun & made you feel welcome! Only drawback was the bathroom- they need to update it- didn’t even have a lock on the door,,, otherwise a great day on the River!!????????????
Excellent staff, professional. Great experience. Would recommend highly to all who’s considering this boat ride.
Great tour. Super informative. Great way to beat the heat.
Magical day! Great guide who taught us so much about this beautiful place. Island owners, history, geography, current events, wild life. So much knowledge. The visit on Boldt Castle was so interesting. Thousand islands is a must see location.
The boat tour was fabulous, our guide and captain were wonderful. It was a great day out on the St Lawrence River. The guide had so much knowledge to share about the river and islands. I only have 1 suggestion and that is the lunch that is made before hand to take on th boat could of had a little bit more meat. I had a grilled chicken wrap and it maybe had 6 small bites of chicken in it!! Overall a great boat tour!!!
The boat you go on ... not sure how many it can take, but it's small and quaint in comparison to another on the waterway. I enjoyed small and quaint and "all" had a wonderful view. The deck hand/speaker of what we saw was knowledgeable. The only demerit - the speaker kept fluctuating which was annoying; hence my inability to give it a 5 star.
Slow pace, great narration. Wish it gave more time at Boldt Castle
Older boats are not real pretty. Good tour guide. Small groups, allows you to ask questions. Good group of people. Nice tour of the islands.
Tour guide was nice, tour was informative about the houses in the area. Bit disappointed about the rerouting of the trip and not being able to go into Canada due to Covid restrictions. We wish we were better notified about the route change before the tour Overall, an ok experience, the castle was brillant and for sure the highlight of the boat trip.
Beautiful night for a sunset cruise. Capt. did an awesome job getting the setting sun behind the rock island light house
Guide was very informed. It was a fun activity for the family. Highly recommended. p.s. Lunch quality can be improved.
The tour was very informational. And the ride was very nice. We will do it again
Good one
A wonderful tour
Really enjoyed the tour with captain Matt and Matt. They were very informative and friendly. The boat is a bit tight, but is a lot of fun. The glass bottom part down the center was neat to look over at certain parts. My favorite part was the hour stop at rock island light house. We went up in the lighthouse, which was so cool. The tour guide there was very knowledgeable and Interesting!!! There was even a fun scavenger hunt with treasure for the kids! My 7 &13 year olds loved it!
The tour guide was awesome! Loved our tour!!
Wasted a beautiful day. We reserved and paid for our tickets for a tour. We planned the next day of our vacation around this tour, which was scheduled to be 3.5 hours. We began the 80 mile drive up to Clayton. 20 miles from Clayton, and 45 MINUTES before the scheduled departure, we received a very polite phone call saying that our tour HAD BEEN CANCELLED. No reason was given. The weather was beautiful, so it wasn't due to stormy weather. This outfit is quite unreliable. Don't waste your time.
Trip was great, beautiful area. The tour guide was great as was the captain
We enjoyed the casual, local feel, and expertise of this tour. We would recommend it highly. Wish we could have had more time on Heart Island at the Boldt Castle. But, we understand. ???? Make sure you get some ice cream on the island, before you leave! Delicious!!
Everything was booked, we didn't get on boat.
Great boat ride with lots to see. Very knowledgeable host. Great experience.
My family and I (4 of us) took the Sunset cruise and I can’t say enough good things!! The captain and the crew member/bartender were great. The route we took was fantastic and they were right — it was the most beautiful sunset. Thanks so much! It was such a pleasant, relaxing cruise. We would definitely go again and absolutely recommend Clayton Island Tours.
We were in the area for the annual Lake Ontario Lighthouse Challenge, so we jumped at the chance to visit Rock Island Lighthouse which is only accessible by boat. Our tour guide gave an excellent history of the Thousand Islands. The boat was glass-bottomed so we were excited to see some shipwrecks. We had enough time at the lighthouse to climb and explore some. In all, this 3 hour tour was a great deal.
We took the trip to Boldt Castle in July. First time to the area. It was only in the 50s, cold and rainy but we had a great time. The narrator was fabulous! Would definitely recommend.
Loved our captain, guide ,and Miss Clayton...will be back
Amazing Guided Tour...Thanks Captain Jack and Excellent Narrater First Mate Liam ...You guys were Great and the tour was Great and Very Reasonable❤️
Very relaxing n truely a great thing to plan if u just want a lil downtime from ur hectic everyday lives..
We chose the Rock Island Lighthouse Tour AND thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The Guide (Brad) was knowledgeable and entertaining, making the tour both educational and fun. The stop on Rock Island allowed just enough time to visit the museum and explore the lighthouse. Pilot Joey brought our group of four (ages 9 years to 68 years) safely back to shore AND all of agreed that this was by far our best boat tour! Highly recommend!
Great vacation
A beautiful, Informative tour of the Rock Island Lighthouse and the surrounding islands. Captain Jack and Matt did a wonderful job on our "3 hour tour" and ensured everyone made it back safely.
My husband and I had a wonderful boat tour today! The staff was very friendly and a big help in making sure my handicapped husband was able to get on and off the boat in his motorized scooter. We will definitely be back for more tours.
My wife and I took two tours with Clayton Island Tours during our little minimoon that we had. It was during the pandemic (which is why it was a minimoon), so a lot of places closed early which was unfortunate, but were so happy we booked two tours with Clayton Island Tours. We took the Sunset and the Boldt castle tour and had a great time on both. We’ll definitely plan on coming back for future anniversaries and doing these tours again.
Great boat ride to Boldt Castle! 3.5 hours includes over an hour at the castle to explore on your own. The smaller boat is great for sightseeing and the guide and captain were very knowledgeable. Our whole group really enjoyed it!
Our family of 4 took the Boldt Island tour. All the employees- the parking attendant, ticket salesperson, captain, and tour guide- made us feel like welcome and valued guests. Our tour guide Dennis made the 1 hour trip each way fly right by sharing his deep knowledge of the area and telling entertaining experience. It was a smaller craft and had a comfortable family feel. We would highly recommend this touring company and can’t wait to take another tour with them!
They offer many different boating tours. The one that goes to Heart Island, Boldt Castle is amazing. You will tour the Canadian side and tour under the Ivy Lea Bridge (1000 Islands Bridge), see the 1000 Islands Tower, pass by the Statue of St. Lawrence (Google Maps), and see so much more.
The tour guide was a trip. We had a great time
A must!
Loved the tour guide Dan was very I up informed and fun
Loved it, saw so much and laughed all the way. Because is smaller boat and less people on board you can go to all over Canadian and american Islands... Amazing
Very good tour and the narrator was very informative.
Loved sharing this experience with my younger brother! Also be aware water can come into the boat if the river is rough and other wakes. So be prepared to potentially get wet, especially when you're at the front of the boat outside.
Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable of the area. Crew was great too. Very efficient.
The information given during the your was entertaining as well as interesting. The trip to Boldt Castle was beautiful.
(Translated) It is a very nice experience☺???? (Original) Es una experiencia muy bonita☺????
Took 2 nations and Boldt Castle Tour. It was pretty average. I was expecting the boat to be more closer to the islands for a better view. The guide's voice was hardly audible at the back. One hour is not enough to spend on Boldt Castle.
Great experience. Very professional staff. Tour guide very knowledgeable. Our boat cruise canceled from two years ago was honored without hesitation. Definitely recommend and will use them again soon.
Denis and Capt Shoeless Joe were AMAZING, and informational. The tour was fun because of these two, and their light jokes. The 5 hour tour had a delicious lunch included with great views to see. It was a great afternoon, and the tour was everything and more. This is a must do if you visit this area!
Great experience, super friendly staff, and informative, would definitely recommend!
Excellent time
My husband and I had Dennis as our tour guide and he was lovely! He shared lots of information the entire trip. We took another tour with a different tour company the next day and we're very disappointed the guide was not like Dennis. I wish we had the time during our trip to visit Boldt Castle again with Dennis. The islands are beautiful. We definitely will be coming back next year!
The workers are professional and kind, and the prices are great!!
Boat captain chuck and Keri was very professional and helpful. I strongly recommend them for Bolt castle boat tour
Very interesting tour, comfortable boat.
Captain and tour guides are very friendly and knowledge. Wonderful boat ride and experience.
Our tour guide Daniel was fantastic! He shared tons of facts, some old some new! He has a great sense of humor & made the tour! We were in Alex Bay & worth the short trip to pick up this tour. The young lady that checked us in was super friendly & the captain very good also! We would definitely recommend!
We took the 5 hour tour with Clayton tours and had a great time. Friendly staff. Tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We would have liked a little more time at the castle but the tour was worth doing. We are planning on going back
My wife and I loved our tour to Boldt Castle. Our guide, Daniel was funny, informative and lively. We enjoyed learning about the history of the islands and areas we toured.
The tour was excellent, so much to see and with a guide spouting off historical and interesting facts about the region, specific houses, and families. We would recommend this tour, it was a bit long (2 hours), but we brought our lunches and really enjoyed ourselves.
Best tour in area, smaller boats go into more historic quaint places. Knowledgeable tour guide, interactive experience. Lost channel, eagles nesting.
Despite the rain the boat tour and Boldt Castle comprised a wonderful day.
Nice boat ride to Boldt Castle. Employees were very friendly and tour guide was very informative about the area.
We had a great time on board. Beautiful views and lots of room! and our tour guide was great.
I was unable to go on the tour.I tried to cancel and get my money back but was unable to. I will not book another tour and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Had a great time nice ride captain Jack was great
Very beautiful place
We learned so much! Kris was a wonderful guide - having grown up going to the Islands, she had such a wealth of information to share. The lunch food truck was an affordable and quick option for us to grab some food before we embarked. Highly recommend, great pace and lovely energy throughout:)
The whole trip was amazing, and Capt. Ron was the best. Loved the stop at the Rock Island lighthouse. Would definitely recommend Clayton Island Tours.
Amazing crew, on-time, well description, clear announcement . Highly recommended. Trip Worth it.
We took the 11am Sunday tour with the Boldt Castle ticket. It was fabulous, and not crowded. Our guide Kris was knowledgeable and so was our boat captain Brian. It was our first time in the 1000 islands and this tour really helped put the whole region into perspective and it was fun learning about all of the history here. Would definitely recommend for any first time travelers to the area. Thank you so much for the great afternoon!
We went on the Lighthouse tour. Beautiful afternoon learning more about the Thousand Islands and seeing the views. Friendly atmosphere and completely enjoyed it!
Nice long tour but our guide was very very young and lacked complete knowledge of any facts
Our tour was so much fun and the tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining! Our captain even let us stay longer at our stop at the light house to watch a large ship go by!
There is a lot to learn about 1000 Islands.
Captain Jack did a marvelous job maneurving the boat. Brad was so knowledgeable! Thanks for a fun day!
(Translated) Very nice little towns, it's quiet nice to walk and relax. Many interesting tours. Not bad wines and friendly people. (Original) Очень милые городишки, тихо приятно гулять и отдыхать. Много интересных туров. Не плохие вина и приветливые люди.
Went on a tour through the Wounded Warrior Project. Had a great time with my wife and other vets, and the captain and guide were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
Excellent tour by Matt and Captain Ron!
Was a very informative with lots of historical information
We went on the Boldt Castle and Two Nation tour today. It was amazing. It was a beautiful day to be on the water. Captain Matt was a great driver and Brad was an amazing guide. He filled the entire tour with very interesting facts about the area we were in. The time we spent at Boldt Castle was just as great. It was so worth the amount of money we spent. We also got a picnic lunch from Kay's Kitchen located at the site. The food was really good and the price was great. You can preorder online, but if you wait to order when you get there, you have more choices. I can't recommend this tour enough.
We enjoyed the tours much we did another! And would have taken the evening cruise but we ran out of time! So refreshing and cool! To be on the water was amazing! We are from the Midwest currently but grew up in this area!! What a joy!!
Great boat tours with professional crew. Provides fun experience for all ages. You get to see the islands up close.
Great tour with outstanding commentary.
Nice tour. Loved Boldt castle.
Fun 2.5 hour tour. Guide explained sights well with interesting facts and lore. Boldt Castle stop extra but worth it!
Beautiful scenery! Def worth the trip. But they need to replace the speaker
Very relaxing morning trip...informative.
Took the glass bottom boat tour, it was 3 hours of fun on the River! Didn't see a heck of a lot through the glass bottom, but it was a nice tour to Rock Island Lighthouse and we got to go in the lighthouse and to the top. We brought a cooler and had a great time. The guides were funny and kept it interesting.
Great service. Very friendly. Total enjoyment
Tour guide had good stories about owners of islands and history of the areas. Very interesting. An enjoyable trip on the St Lawrence.
This was a great tour! The guide had a lot of knowledge and interesting stories, we appreciated her very much and the the captain was great too! It’s a beautiful ride and we highly recommend visiting Boldt Castle too.
Was a great experience. Knowledgeable staff and crew. Interesting insights about the history of the area. Clean boats.
The sunset cruise was amazing!! Captain Scott and Ben were professional and fun. They told us about all the islands and cracked jokes too! The sun came out (FINALLY) and we had some spectacular photos!! We will most definitely be back again!! Thank you ????
Great people, answered all questions, gave guided tour with cool facts. Very relaxing and fun
It was a great tour with skipper and Gilligan!! Actually it was great with Captain Brian! I can’t remember the ladies name! Very informative and we had a great time!!
Had a wonderful day trip with Clayton Island tours. Our guide told us all about the RICH history of the thousand island, including stories about each island we passed, and funny quips about most. We stopped at Boldt Castle for an hour or so to walk around and picnic. We brought a cooler with us. This was a great way to see a ton of stuff the area has to offer without too much time wasted. Highly reccomend. Pictures are of the boat we rode on, and 2 from Boldt castle.
This tour was amazing. Our guide really made the trip. He was funny, knowledgeable and is the reason I would recommend this tour over any other one. The ride was smooth and we enjoyed every minute of it.
Great thousand islands tour, better than the larger tour boats because they use smaller boats and offer a more personalized guided tour.
Very nice experience. Sometimes we couldn't hear the tour guy well (not his fault but the speakers, I guess) but overall it was a good experience.
My wife& I did the Boldt castle & 2 nation tour. The Capt & tour guide Don were very knowledgeable of local history ( lots of interesting stories) . 3 1/2 hrs was plenty of time to see the Thousand Islands nature & beauty , Boldt castle was amazing a 2 million structure built by the wealthy tycoon only to be abandoned . Now being renovated to its originality. Worth the trip .......
Friendly treated you like family. I took my son for his graduation gift and we both loved it
The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and he was very attentive …I totally recommend this tour
We took the two and a half hour Glass bottom tour to Rick Island Lighthouse. It was great priced I hope that parking can be eventually figured out. The staff was accommodating but there just wasn't space for everyone. The Captain did a great job it was as smooth as can be for water conditions. Our tour guide was delightful had the insight of someone raised locally. There was a large group of people that had tickets for another tour that originally got on our boat. They we're really mean to the guide and Captain when they explained they were on the wrong boat. They told them there boat wasn't docked yet but they could wait on shore until it came and they were called on board. This group then proceeded to the next boat even though the guide explained again this was not there boat either. There boat hadn't docked yet. They yelled at her that they weren't going to leave that boat even though she explained that when the crew got on that boat they would board passengers and leave before the other boat might get there. The whole time your guide was trying to be polite even though she was being yelled at. They said they would turn her in ,for what I'm not sure. She was finally able to get them off the wrong boats and the dock so we could continue to board and do our tour. Needless to say you have very professional staff even though I know she was getting flustered she remained calm. I know she was going back to college I think her name was Katie maybe. Our tour was August 20th if that helps. We will come back for the longer tour and will definitely recommend your company. A big thank you to the C-WAY motel in Clayton for highly recommending you.
Sunset cruise Wednesday eve. We thought this was a Pretty clapped out old boat, not enough outside space (small deck, 6 people at a time only) & the dock needs some work as it's kind of sinking into the bay. The islands themselves are lovely, and once you accept this experience as just cheap & kitsch, it's ok. Pretty junky selection of liquor for sale ($5 a drink), but a few beers too. One very big pile of cheap processed cheeses and ritz crackers for the nibbles. Overall wouldn't say it was professional or anything classy, but nice enough to get out on water for an eve at a cheap rate ($15). The locals seem to love it, imagine half the group on board seemed to be locals.
I took my family to watertown ny then drove to clayton boat tours for the day and we enjoyed it the staff was so helpful with my husband being in wheelchair and our kids loved it a great family trip.
Lovely relaxing cruise on the river as the sun was setting. Capt & crew most informative, jovial, & accomadative. Would do it again in a heartbeat!
Great experience. Very interesting guide, flawless captain. Highly recommend.
Captain Joe was a cutie. Chris was funny and very informative. Her bar tending skills were 10/10
Super fun place to have a boat tour
Captain Jack and Brad put on quite the tour for us today. Brad knows so much history about the area that you can't believe he's reciting everything from memory. It's truly impressive. The boat held about 40 or 50 people. It's small but felt cozy. The trip to Boldt castle took about 50 minutes and we were able to purchase a small lunch and tickets on the CIT website. There are bathrooms on the boat. With a 1.5 hours self guided tour of the Castle, it was about 3.5 hours total, which was just about right for us.
Fantastic local crew who gave lots of history about the area. A lovely tour of the islands Highly recommend any of their tours!
We have been on the Sunset cruise twice and love it! Especially Ben, the bartender who always has awesome bits of information to share and makes sure everyone has a great time. Thank you!
Knowledgeable staff who explained the history and beauty of the region (past and present).
Super worth the money! Fun, the guys were great and the trip is a must if you are visiting the St. Lawrence River area. They take you to Boldt Castle too which is awesome although you do have to pay to get in and don't really have a choice as there's no where to go while the boat waits other than through the turnstiles. Perhaps the tour company would be better working out a deal with Boldt Island, get a better rate and tack it on to the overall price? Overall fantastic though.
The tour narrator was fantastic ! I am summer resident on Wellesley island for 63 years and take the tour to refresh my knowledge of the islands each year . Dennis not only knew the complete history of each island but who the current owners are and where they are from and their backgrounds . He spoke for the entire 2 hours . The small intimate boat was smoothly handled . All the employees were friendly.
The tour guide had a great personality and was very informative.
They have new sites to see on your which was great!
Taken a couple of tours with them, they go places the others don't and so far all the captains and crews were awesome
Capt Jack and Brad were VERY WELL INFORMED about the area. We really enjoyed out tour to Boldt Castle. It would have be nice to have 2 hours on the island! We couldn't see all we wanted to.
We took the Thousand Islands five-hour boat tour conducted by Clayton Island Tours. Their boats are smaller, compared to the Uncle Sam's but these are easy to maneuver, captain had a lot of experience and they connected to the passengers very well. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and he responded to every questions the passengers asked. I liked the tour and recommend them.
What a great day!!
Our trip at Clayton Island Tours was a great trip. Our captain Ron and tour guide Dennis were friendly and very knowledgeable. It was a great time and would definitely go again. We would recommend them to friends and family.
Went on a sunset cruise. Was nice.
We had a great time. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch to go was great. Boat clean and easy to get to and parking convenient. Highly recommend to all.
My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. It was well worth the money. It was a perfect day, our guide and captain were both excellant, the history is amazing. We highly recommend them. We want to do it again with friends and family.
Beautiful tour. Very informative.Fun!
Clayton tours was great and worth the money. Brad and captain CT were great. I would highly recommend tour !
I like the warm camaraderie between the captain and the guide and the amour of information the guide presents. And I love sharing the river with friends and family on a Clayton Island Boat Tour!
Clayton Island Tours organised 1000 Islands tour. The tour guide identified the 1000 islands ranging from a few sq.meters witha stop over at Boldt Castle. It is a medium sized castle. The income generated by way visit we understand is wholly utilised for preserving the castle. The operators allow you about 2 hours for look around which is sufficient to cover the length and breadth of the castle. Couple of restaurants and Public rest rooms are available. All entrances are wheelchair accessible. Few islands are available for sale as well. On some of the islands price tag is also available.
We had a wonderful experience on our tour today! The staff was friendly, the tour guide was great and very knowledgeable, the captain of the boat gave us a smooth and scenic trip. I would highly recommend this company and tour to anyone looking for a great day in the Thousand Islands!
(Translated) Great trip with a very interesting guide (Original) טיול מצוין עם מדריך מאוד מעניין
Great tour guide and captain. Lots of fun!
Great tour and staff
Great way to spend the day! Beautiful views of the islands and informative tour guides!
We had an amazing trip. Liam was a knowledgeable tour guide with a great sense of humor and very responsive to those of us on the boat. Captain Steve was masterful in his navigation of the boat through the St Lawrence. Highly recommend this tour company. We will definitely book with them again.
Very informative and fun tour with stories about many of the islands
Super great well informed guide 3 hrs of facts & sites would highly reccomend.
Way morning ride to Bolt Castle, need a wind breaker. Tour guide & Captain very knowledgeable. Later tours more crowded.
Fun narrative through out the tour. Be sure to buy tickets for the castle.
Our tour guide was great. We definitely got our monies worth!
Captain Gary and Brad (our narrator) were fantastic! Brad was very informative about the islands and entertaining...the 2 1/2 hour tour went by fast...just loved it! Captain Gary was even able to show us a ship wreck!
Fun cruise with great staff
Took the tour of the thousand islands, and stopped at Boldt Castle. The tour was nice, and the crew was fantastic! Very informative! I would suggest taking a jacket, as it does get chilly on the boat. But if you forget one, they do provide blankets! Would recommend!
Went on two tours with them. Great fun, and they know what they're doing! Will come back next time I'm in the area.
The tour was great! Nice space on the boat and the tour guy and captain were a pleasure! The lunches were also fresh and perfect portions!!! We will be back!
A pretty good experience. A little hard to hear the tour guide because of the boats motors but otherwise it was good.
Very good , captain and 1st mate very informative
Very small operation compared to other tour boats in the area. Narrator kind of hoakey but funny most of the time. Interesting facts about area during the boat trip.
This company went above and beyond. They gave us so much history and information, it was beyond interesting.
The people where very friendly and knowledgeable about the river and the islands I use a walker and they where helpful and accommodating will use them again any time
Our guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed it. We will definitely be back next time we are back in town.
We took two tours. One was the Sunset Cruise. There was no tour guide at all but the ride was nice and the sunset was beautiful. Our second tour was to Boldt Castle and it was amazing. Our tour guide was I think his name was Don and he was just great! Pointed every single thing out which was so interesting on the way to the castle and also on the way back.
Good tour of the river and rock island.
Very good
They do several types of tours. The guides make your visit fun and interesting and the scenery will keep you coming back year after year
I took the tour Friday 11 am to Bolt Castle in morning and I wasn't expecting too much for 22 US dollars to be honest, but what a surprise I got, between the captain and his tour guide both have an extended knowledge of the island habitants and their stories, they make my trip very very pleasant and at the same time both of them make us laugh so much. In my reviews I give everyone a fear chance to make it and I am honest when it comes to reviews because either you help the business or not, in my case this two gentleman deserved more than 5 Starts I will give them 20 ******************** Excellent Job..Thank you.
I definitely recommend clayton island tours. The tour guide was very nice and professional. The Captain's was very nice too. I want to said thank you. Mrs Beth she was very nice I can't thank her enough. She did her best to accommodate us on the Captain's Cottage very clean. We was so happy. when ever I have a chance I definitely will go back.
Awesome time
Very nice tour. Funny guide. Lunch was okay.
A beautiful day for a boat trip. The castle was beautiful and enjoyed the lighthouse loved the scenery .
Fair price, historical facts super GREAT STORIES. Guide and captain very friendly, fun, informative and helpful! Boldt castle breath taking AWESOME. DO IT
Wonderful, knowledgeable Captain & 1st Mate! Clean and safe!!!
Had a great afternoon on the river. Great tour guide. We did the 5 hour tour that included a stop at Boldt castle and Rock Island state park. The lunch was tasty and filling. Great trip. Bring a jacket because it was cool and windy.
This was the most amazing adventure ever! The ride and view is completely breathtaking, especially the castle, it's to remember for life!
Great information from Dan our guide. Full of stories and good humor keeping everyone interested
Family enjoyed the cruise and visit to Boldt Castle. Crew were friendly and knowledgeable about the region
This place is awesome. We ordered the turkey sandwiches for our lunches. My wife can't have mayonnaise so they made her a fresh sandwich without mayonnaise. She couldn't eat the macaroni salad either for the same reason so they substituted fruit. We really appreciate the way they went out of the way for us. The boat tour was a lot of fun and worth the price. Our favorite part was the Rock Island Lighthouse. This was enjoyable and educational. We definitely recommend this tour.
Our tour guide and captain were informative and fun. The whole trip was fun and we learned so much. Boldt castle took our breath away. Definitely worth the time and money to take the tour.
Great experience and beautiful views!
Wonderful experience! Not just because of the amazing sightseeing on these. Lawrence River but the tour guide is extremely lively and knowledgeable about the area; him and Captain Jack made a perfect combination ???? to make the entire experience a memorable one. Definitely a must go!
Hey do a great job explaining all the islands
Kris was very knowledgeable about the area and the historical information, very pleasant and upbeat.Mat was also very pleasant and made a good captain. Highly recommend this tour.
Very fun and informative! Brad was a great host. The river is so beautiful. I’ve always been obsessed with the Great Lakes since growing up in Minnesota and it’s was great to see the St. Lawrence River and where it all started.
Staff was great, but not enough time allowed for Boldt Castle
Brian and Peter were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time????
Our tour was at 1:30. We didn't get on the boat until 2. I couldn't understand most of what the tour guide was saying. Need a better speaker system or something. I'm not sure what there cleaning protocol is but it didn't seem that they cleaned or wipes down the seats in between the last tour and our tour boarding. Thankfully it was nice weather.
Great tour with Don and the Captain
The grandfather and granddaughter running these tours know the area, its history and all of the best spots for photos and beautiful vistas. They are kind and gracious tour guides with several years under their belts. The granddaughter studies history in Syracuse at university, and she clearly knows and loves the history of the Thousand Islands area. The grandfather captains the boat, and will chime in here and there with his own historical facts, as well as of course being a stellar tour captain, knowing all the spots of interest and navigating through them. An excellent captain/guide pair, I've been told by repeat patrons (some of whom had lost track of how many tours they had been on) that the tour is always different. The area is beautiful, and rich in history from bootleggers to wealthy families that built not only castles, but also the islands on which the castles were constructed. Returning for tours in the future is high on my list. Fun and educational for people of all ages, I cannot recommend Clayton Island Tours highly enough. If you're in the area, I recommend you check them out. You won't regret it.
Great experience our Capitan Jack was very experienced in just how to handle the boat around other high speed boaters to keep his crew and passengers safe. We had two small children on board with us and they loved thier very first boat ride. AgIn thank you for a enjoyable day.
The castle was very nice but I think I was expecting it to be more. The light house was nice but wasn't really much on the island. Gift shop had very few items to choose from. Over all i think the boat ride itself was the big Attraction. Clayton tours was very informative on the islands we seen. Great job to our captain and our narrator Liam.
Awesome tour I enjoyed it better than Uncle Sam's tours. Take this tour to Baldt Castle instead of Uncle Sams
Beautiful cruise. Excellent captain and narrator.
Very fun
Awesome sunset tour of the Islands. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the first mate is hilarious!! A seasoned Captain will navigate you to all the local attractions and you'll get closer than ever to the best views for photo opportunities.
We had a great time on the Rock Island Light tour with Capt. Ron and tour guide Matt. Our son even got to take a turn at the wheel. We will likely take another trip with these guys next time we are in the area.
Had a great time. Tour guide was nice a new the area very well. Would take another tour sometime.
My husband and I have taken many cruises with Clayton Island Tours and are always extremely satisfied with the information shared about the history of the islands. In addition, the time on the water for the amount of money paid is very reasonable for us. We have recommended this company to many and will continue to do so!
We enjoyed our tour, very friendly staff. Only thing is that the sound system made it very hard to understand what our tour guide was saying.
Love it!!
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! It was a great day
Beautiful ????
We enjoyed our tour with Clayton Island Tours. Captain Joe was great and our guide Dennis was full of information. Awesome team!
Great tour of the islands!
Had a wonderful day. Weather was perfect. The team on the boat were great. Learned a lot about the area and enjoyed our time at Boldt castle as well as Rock Island Lighthouse. We were also given a nice bag lunch to enjoy while underway.
Many different boat rides to choose from! They even have a boat with a glass bottom!
Wonderful operator and tour. We enjoyed ourselves immensely
Fun boat tour????
We have been on multiple tours with Clayton Island Tours. They are wonderful! The staff are very knowledgeable of the Thousand Islands and the tours are priced right. Their boats aren’t huge but are big enough to feel safe. They are not overcrowded. Thanks for the service you provide to my husband and I and our friends and family. Keep up the great work!
We really enjoyed our experience with our tour guide, Matt, who had a lot of interesting stories to share about the area. It was quite a long tour for the price also, which was great. We were disappointed, however, that we were notified at noon before the 3pm tour that we'd booked that it was being cancelled, and our only options were to join a tour that was leaving in an hour or reschedule for a different day. Since this was the last day of our vacation, we had to do the 1pm tour that was quite different than the one we'd booked.
Sunset cruise was great. So relaxing. Anytime on the St Lawrence is time well spent.
The boat was small, the tour guide wasn't very good, but the tour was good
It’s a great experience.Everything was amazing
Great tours on smaller pontoon boats. Easy on and off, personal attention
Smaller boats,very informative, great narrative!!
Great guide and Captain
Great staff and beautiful scenery
First class all the way. The skipper and the host/bartender shared a lot of great information but it was never too much - just occasional talk. Music was played softly throughout - never obtrusive.
Beautiful leisurely cruise up and down the river. Small and family friendly ship not overcrowded, and very friendly and informative crew. The only way to cruise the 1000 Islands area as far as I'm concerned. Will be back for sure!????????????????????????????????????
We had great time on the Rock Island trip. We learned a lot about the river.
Had a great time on the tour!
We had a great day on the water in the 1000 islands. The stops at Bolt Castle and The Rock island lighthouse gave us plenty of time to explore. It was a very enjoyable day.
The 5 hour tour was perfect for my husband and I too celebrate our anniversary!
We had an amazing time on the boat. I would highly recommend this tour. Upon arrival we saw the captain and his mate sanitizing the boat due to COVID requirements. The tour guide narrated the history of the houses and different islands along the way. The Boldt castle tour was beautiful. On the return trip the Captain took us back on the other side of the islands so everyone could additional historical sites. The boat ride was a bit windy and choppy on the way back and everyone was getting wet. At first it felt good but after awhile the narrator concerned for our comfort put down the side roll up clear covers so we were dry. I am planning on returning again during our next vacation.
The tour was a great experience very knowledgeable guide named Brad. The tour of Boldt castle was fun and had plenty of time to do what you wanted. They also supplied a nice lunch
The Ultimate Boat Tour was a blast. The tour guide and the captain were very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure that all guests were happy and informed. The Ultimate tour was 5 hours long and we were able to see Boldt Castle, the lighthouse on Rock Island, an old ship wreck, many of the islands, and so much more. The bagged lunches were also very good. My family really enjoyed this tour and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an inclusive Thousand Island tour.
Nice boat tour. I thought it was kinda boring but I have been on many a tour through the 1000 islands. We took the new Grindstone Island tour. If it's windy on shore bring a jacket or sweater. It can get really chilly in the water moving fast in a boat.
Outstanding - we really enjoyed our trip and found the tour guide to be excellent - entertaining and very informative. Would gladly do more tours with them next time we visit!
Very enjoyable river experience. Capt. Ron did a great job and the gentleman tour guide was both knowledgeable and humorous. All 4 persons in my group would recommend. We felt it was worth the admission.
The captain should have tried to get out away from the wave..instead he drove straight into it causing the wave to make a direct hit crashing into the plexi glass causing it to smash hitting customers and the right of the boat getting soaking wet. The captain never appoligized
Nice boat ride. Very informative and funny guides. Boldt Castle was amazingly beautiful.
Excellent guide and tour.
I was a nice ride on the river. The tour guide was very informative and even though I have been coming to the river for over 50 years I still learned a few new facts.
Guide was very informative. Trip was enjoyable
Everyone we dealt with was super. The tour was great and informative. Dennis did great with his info and Captain Joe was very personable. We highly recommend this tour.
This was a great tour. Loves all the history with it as well. Our tour guides Dennis and the captain made it enjoyable as well. Will recommend to our friends.
Loved the tour! We will go again!!
My daughters and I had a wonderful time today on the St. Lawrence River with your crew!! Captain Chuck was awesome! The tour guide was terrific and we loved his facts and wit! Today was our last day before heading home and it really complimented our vacation to the 1000 Islands. Thank you for a fantastic boat ride. The glass bottom floor was the best!!
We had a wonderful Two Nation and Castle boat tour. Our tour guide was great. She was professional and very knowledgeable of the area. We stopped at Boldt Castle for a tour which we both enjoyed. Thank you!
Awesome tour of the 1000 Islands and Boldt Castle. Knowledgeable staff. Good lunch to order and pick up before you board. Comfortable boat. A must do. So glad we chose Clayton Island Tours!
My husband and I are very pleased with the ultimate tour we took on July 19th. The tour guide, Matt, is very knowledgeable about the area. Captain Matt made the ride very enjoyable and smooth. Both gentleman were kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Five stars!!
Captain Chuck and Dennis are guide was great and very very knowledgeable . The intercom PA system seemed to be having problems and was hard to hear Dennis at times unfortunately for he definitely had a lot of valuable knowledge to share with us . Also the boat which we road seemed to be having some technical difficulties like the prop may have been slipping some on are way to Bolt Castle . Seems like they may have made some corrections while at Bolt Castle on vessel . Overall I would give them another chance .
The guide was great at sharing area history. He had a good sense of humor and a wide knowledge of the local history. It was a great experience, I would highly recommend using this tour company.
Awesome guide. Great in knowledge and personality. The captain was very kind as well.
Had a great time!
We have done the Rock Island tour a couple times, and will be back for more! Captain Joey was excellent at navigating the river and finding us all of the cool things to see through the glass bottom. Brad…I can’t say enough about him! He never seems scripted, but rather just shares his vast knowledge and passion for the SLR. He’s friendly, funny and informative. We will definitely be making Clayton Boat Tours our go to for river cruises. Thank you all!
Went on their glass bottom boat tour
My sister and me booked the 3.5 hour boat tour to Boldt Castle. When we arrived we discovered we were on different boats and each boat was at capacity. A very nice woman (who seemed to be the owner or manager) heard us complaining to the ticket booth. She immediately took over the situation and headed down to the boat where she offered people that were set to ride on my boat a chance to go on the other. What seemed like a huge problem was solved in moments!! We were extremely happy with our tour guide who was so knowledgeable about local history. (Also, he had on a Buffalo Bills hat so we liked him on sight.). He made sure to go around to each group to enquire if they had questions. The boat also carried blankets for those who got chilled out on the water. We had ample time on Boldt Island, even traveling with 6 children. All in all, it was a nice trip and the cost was more than reasonable. We plan on doing the tour again next time we’re in town! Go Bills!!
Great ppl had a lot of fun. The guide was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately it was hard to hear him as t times because the speakers weren't picking up the microphone the guide was using
Very good Thousand island guide and tour with lunch. Gives you adequate time to spend at both stops.
Great tour if your in Clayton, staff was wonderful
Great staff. Awesome tour. Lunch available. What more can you ask for.
Tour guide, Mike, was informative and funny! Made the trip very enjoyable. Boldt castle is a must see!
the Cons are the Dock looked like it was going to tip over. Icould not hear the tour guide because most of the speakers did not work. The boat was sinking in the front like The pontoons were full of water and the bathroom on boat was not working . The pros areThe captain was very nice and guide was good other than the speakers were not working. The price was good .
Great tour. Tour guide was fun and full of good information.
A fleet of 5 big pontoon vessels offers a variety of tours. We took a history tour. Vessel has a bar and separate "heads" for men and women.
Great sraff and fun adventures
Boat tours & Karaoke Cruises are awesome.
Fun time with Captain Joe going around the islands. Stopped at Rock Island to see the lighthouse, and they have a bar on board.
The tour was fantastic and the guide was quite knowledgeable. Enjoyed hearing lots of true history and local legends. Be sure to bring a jacket and dress warmly, even in June. We took the tour to Boldt Castle and enjoyed riding completely into Canadian waters to get there. The area is simply beautiful on it's own, but this tour and crew made it all the more enjoyable. I hope to take another tour with them.
Took the Boldt Castle tour this afternoon. The captain did a great job of making sure we saw some amazing things and the guide was the highlight of our trip. Extremely informative and very entertaining. Highly recommend Clayton Island Tours.
The guide Liam and Captain Matt were knowledgeable and great! We went for the family Fourth of July cruise, and they made the evening spectacular!
The sunset tour and the Rock Island Lighthouse tour were great
Great time! Very informative crew of the history of the thousand Island area! Very relaxing! Highly recommend!
A very fun day!
Informative, worth the money
Excellent tour. Boldt Castle was amazing. Beautiful views up and down the St. Lawrence. Amazing crew and service.
The tour was very educational with much St. Lawrence River history. Many historic homes were pointed out as well as newer modern constructions. The boat ride was slow and easy and the Captain did his best to navigate around the wake from the passing speedboats. Keep in mind that you are on a boat in water and you might get wet. The ONLY negative thing I can say is to avoid the bagged lunch. It is not delicious. Eat before or bring your own lunch.
We stayed at The Otter Creek for a couple of nights. Our room was clean. They have an area down by the water it was also clean and well kept. It was very peaceful just sitting there and enjoying the area. We didn't have much contact with the staff except at check in and check out but they were pleasant.
Excellent tours! Took the sunset cruise and the bolt castle tour and loved them! Take them it's sooo worth the trip!
We so enjoyed our cruise today. Joe did an excellent job of navigating and Dennis was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The tour of the castle and lighthouse was definitely a trip to write home about! Thanks for a lovely experience.
The staff is very helpful and the trip great
The sunset Cruise was the best cruise I have ever been on. Simply wonderful. Highly recommend.
I can’t say enough about the great experience we (me, my husband, my brother in law and sister in law) had on this 5 hour boat tour. We picked up our delicious lunches that were included in our tour before boarding the boat. Once we were on the boat we sat at a table with benches which was very convenient when eating our lunch. The captain did an excellent job of navigating the waters without much turbulence. Our tour guide Liam also did an excellent job with his knowledge of all the islands and surrounding area. It was a relaxing, informative boat ride that I would highly recommend.
Best tours, friendliest staff, in the 1000 Islands.
Beautiful day trip
Tour guide was really knowledgeable and it was very smooth ride thanks to the captain!
The staff was very helpful with my mom with her walker. They made her trip very very pleasant!!!
The guide shared interesting facts about the islands .. Our group Enjoyed the Trip
Was a beautiful boat ride...the captain was wonderful..had done great jokes and he'd sit and idle to allow time for photos..they cleaned up and sanitized the boat as well..was worth the trip .we didn't make reservations but they had opening for Boldt ???? ..glass bottom next trip...staff super friendly
Awesome tour. Captain was friendly and tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Tour to Rock island was awesome.
7 people went on the trip which 2 where children , one 6 the other 4 , so I payed $7.00 for an extra chicken tender meal that I did not receive. The lunches were terrible. Definitely not what we had expected. Although Liam was a very good guide and captain cj . But my family was in two separate seats I then boarded the boat a little earlier to get a seat so we all could sit together and was told we had to sit in the same seat . Which then when everyone else boarded there were a few that sat in other seats . Very disappointed.
Tour guide appeared checked out and went long periods of travel time without telling the passengers about some of the cool islands and homes we rode past on the lake. This is a long boat ride, over 3 hours, so parents with young children please be aware and considerate of others before booking this. On the way to Boldt castle a child cried the entire way and coming back from Boldt another child cried/screamed the entire ride. At that time I did not know if I wanted to throw myself overboard or the child. When we docked I could not get off that boat fast enough. My head was killing me. Part of the enticement of booking this trip with my family was that it was not a large crowded operation like Uncle Sams but a smaller more intimate experience, boy was I wrong. The only period of peace was at Boldt castle on dry land. It was amazing but unfortunately I was only able to see very little of it. Bring your running shoes cause you only have one hour to visit. Once again, parents of young children before booking this it is a more adult oriented outing cause it is a long boat ride and a smaller group. Even the older children on the ride were falling asleep on the way back. I was very disappointed in the lack of info we received while touring the 1000 Islands and lack of personality our guide had. This could be an epic experience with some tweaking from the company and the option to tour Boldt longer.
Excellent tour
Great tour. Our guide and our captain were wonderful
I went to Boldt Castle and saw the 4th of July fireworks with these guys, my family and I had a great time! 100% would go back and do it again and I highly recommend you get a tour with them too!
Such a fun day at clayton,, explore the area and also there is nice restaurants around
Matt and Mike did a wonderful job showing us up and down the St. Lawrence river. Even though it was raining the tour was phenomenal. We had some good laughs and saw great sights. Definitely recommended and it takes you to Boldt Castle.
The tour was informative and fun. Our guide Danny was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and personable. He was a treat to listen to. Him and Captain Jack made this tour so enjoyable. Thank you!
The tour was amazing! We visited over the Labor Day weekend. The tour guide “Brad” was very knowledgeable and so entertaining throughout the trip. He explained about all the islands in detail with a background story of all the islands. Captain Skip was an amazing person to navigate us around the islands. Highly recommended tours for anyone who wants to enjoy and know about Thousand Islands!!! Great job team and All the best!!
Was a great tour and what a way to enjoy the beautiful 1000 Islands!!
I really enjoyed the tour and all history of the place. The captain was very good tour guide.
The 2 hour boat cruise provides a substantial view of the St. Lawrence river/seaway. Narrated history and facts proved interesting, as did the sights of lighthouse and castles. The fresh river air was calming and relaxing, as the waves rocked the boat. I wouldn't buy the lunch to take on the boat. No place to eat. Only seats available. It was awkward to try and eat on your lap. Bring a snack in your pocket and enjoy the view.
The boat tour was excellent but the washroom at the Clayton grounds is disgusting.
They're stop operation. 2021 season is end. It'll be open May 2022.
Had a great time on the tour especially going up into the lighthouse
Beautiful night on the lovely sunset cruise!
We had a great time, and Brad was very informative. We liked everything about the business ~ good quality, good value ~ Brad and Joey were so easygoing ~ we had fun!
Wonderful tour! Loved captain Chuck and tour guide Matt!
Good narrator..nice trip
We especially enjoyed the narrator telling us so many stories about the local properties of Millionaires and just interesting tales. Very enjoyable experience for sure.
We went on a date and had a great time. Price was very fair and the experience was a once in a life time experience. Actually, we might do it again lol plus they have a wine boat tour too lol
We purchased tickets online through Viator, the online booking agency Clayton Island Boat Tours uses with the understanding that if we canceled up to 24 hours in advance we would get a full refund. We called 24 hours prior to departure time and canceled our tour scheduled for August 10, 2021 and were told we would get a full refund. It is now September 2 and we have still not seen our refund. Purchasing online? BEWARE!
Boats are not as clean as uncle Sam's boat tour but the tour was nice the dock was scary
We had a very good time. We brought our own snacks and bought drinks. The staff and crew were all very friendly and professional. It was a good ride and was just the right length. Also, it was nice seeing a different area of the river, instead of Alex Bay, like most of the boat tours. Taylor at the ticket booth is cute, so that was nice
Very caring and professional. We have taken cruises all over the nation and this is by far the best. Very appreciated for all the history and information. This is our 18th cruise. I w ould recommend ???? this cruise to everyone. You definitely get your monies worth. Thank you Clayton Island Tours
Fun trip lunch option was ok. Mac salad sucked. Roast beef sandwich was good. Tour guide was funny for adults not kids. Scenery was spectacular.
Had a great time ! The Captain was patient because the Bride was 1 nourish late!!!
Fabulous tour! SO interesting and informative. Captain and tour guide worked together to ensure we had time to view and listen to interesting facts and stories about the islands and castle. Really GREAT!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip with Clayton boat tours. Brad was a wonderful tour guide. He’s completely knowledgeable about the history of the area and he has a delightful sense of humor. The tour was well worth it.
We have always enjoyed the tours they provide. Since they have smaller boats they are able to go where the big boats can't go. Their glass bottom Rock Island Light House tour is well worth the money
Great tour, knowledgeable guide. Reservation easy online.
Was an amazing experience there was alot of information
We had a wonderful trip around the Islands with Captain C.T. Roberts and our cruise host David. They worked well together and were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We are planning a 5 hour cruise for next year. Money well spent.
We absolutely loved the tour we had. Our guides and captains were extremely nice. Cant wait to book another tour on our next vacation!
It was inexpensive and informative. Aside from the drunk guys aboard(they apparently had their own alcohol), it was a really nice trip! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Absolutely had the best time! Great staff, boat and music and bar were great! Definitely recommend!!
Lovely
Was a smooth ride and the guide was very knowledgeable.
Liam and Captain Steve make an incredible team when venturing out to Boldt Castle!!
Loved the small boat cruise. I have done the larger cruise boats before. Better seats, a lid to keep the son off and a tour guide that you could hear and understand. Very enjoyable. I would highly recommend.
Your guide and captain were very helpfull A great idea. Had a wonderful time.
(Translated) We really liked it, we had a great time. (Original) Nos gustó mucho, la pasamos muy bien.
My son, my grandson, and I drove up to Clayton from Binghamton. We took two boat tours and spent the night at their inn. We had a fantastic time, the boat tours were amazing, the room was nice. The staff was incredibly kind, and I can't wait to go back next year.
We made a very nice Boat trip to Boldt Castle. Thanks to the Captain and Michael
We were very happy with our trip to Boldt Castle. Our guide was very informative on the both outbound and return trip. There are faster ways to get to Boldt Castle but this was well worth the extended trip. We got great value for our money. Very satisfied and impressed.
Great trip. Awesome people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-hour Boldt Castle tour! The crew was friendly and very willing to answer any questions we had; the commentary during the ride was also fun and entertaining. The quaintness and character of the boat was charming and we enjoyed the small atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We throughly enjoy our sunset cruise. Captain CT handled the boat great. Ben did a nice job narrating. We enjoyed learning the history of the islands and the river. We enjoyed our wine, which they have to purchase. I have already told my son and his wife that they need to do the cruise. We will definitely do it again. Thank you for such enjoyable evening! All 8 of us will see you again! The Wilsons of Three Mile Bay
Was well worth the time and money. I will be recommending to others. Tour guide and Captain were wonderful.
Our family had a great time! The captain and our tour guide were both amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. We will definitely be going on another Clayton Island tour when we are in the area again!
Friendly staff, great time!!
Took the sunset tour tonight and the captain and bartender did a fantastic job.
It is a very impressive tour. Especially the tour guide was a very professional and kind man. I will recommend this tour to my friends.
Alot of great 1000 Isl info. Great trip!
FANTASTIC !! MUCH BETTER THAN THE TRIPLE DECKER BOATS. SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. CAPTAIN WAS WONDERFUL. THANKS FOR A COMFORTABLE TRIP.
Great Value! Thanks for the great tour!
Great way to see the islands
We had a really nice time on Clayton Island Tours' Boldt Castle tour. Tour guide Mike was engaging and entertaining, gave lots of information along the way. Boldt Castle was as expected and neat to see the progress made since last seeing it in the 1990s. The tour was all the better in that it was included free as part of our 2-night stay at the Chateau Country Inn, on the same property as the tour company.
This cruise was relaxing and enjoyable. The captain and crew were friendly and had a plethora of knowledge of the 1000 islands to share.
Informative guide. Nice small group
We had an amazing trip on the river with Captain Joe and Dennis, tour guide extraordinaire! I am so happy we close this tour and this company. We learned so much about the river and the homes along its banks. Stopping at the lighthouse and Boldt Castle made the trip a delight. We needed to change our reservation at the last minute and they were so helpful and made it work for us! I would highly recommend choosing Clayton Island Tours. You won’t be disappointed!
Good ride to castle island
Very nice tour of Thousand Islands and Bolt Castle.
Loved it.
Interesting tour. Brought us to few island and explained some background of each island. Very cautious about local environment conservation. Would recommend anyone who like to spend and relaxing tour with them
Great captains, very informative would definitely use them again
This was a wonderful trip. We learned a lot about the islands and some of the homes. I really learned a lot about bolt castle. We spent 1.5 hrs there. Only wish we had 2 hrs there but we saw pretty much everything. We went to the lighthouse for a hour which I felt a half hour would be plenty. But it was fun Seeing the oldest lighthouse. You had a chance to climb the 52 steps to the top which Was cool. The lunch was good too. We were glad that we took this tour. Well worth the money.
Beth Rusho was very professional and really appreciate her help, after unprofessional booking from viator ( take money and send us to get a boat where is no more room) we was lucky meet Beth and she fix everything, rescheduled for two days later and we did 1000 island tour, worth every penny, if you going near that location don't miss it , Clayton Island Tours and you will make great memories
Fantastic tour and highly recommend it. The guide gave us history about the St Lawerence River both on the way to the lighthouse and back. He also pointed out and explained the wildlife on the river. The stop at the Light house was nice as well. The light keeper greeted us at the boat and took groups of 6 to the top of the lighthouse. The view was amazing.
Clayton Island Tours' "2 Nations" was fantastic! We loved their smaller boat, which made for a more personal, engaging experience. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable, if a bit corny, and the 1+ hour spent at Boldt Castle was well worth it. Really good value and much more pleasant than other larger, "party boat" options in the Thousand Islands.
We had a great experience with Clayton Islands Tour group. The tour guide explained every details of the islands we passed by. The boat was very clean. Food was good too. Loved the whole package ????????
Very nice boat tour, staff was excellent very educational. Boat is a decent size and enclosed so they run rain or shine. I recommend clayton Island tours. A ++
Very nice tour not crowded like other one!
Great experience on the tour and with the crew! Visiting Clayton/ Alexandria bay was a last minute trip. We had nothing planned. All the boat tours were booked up for the most part. The weather was predicted to rain this day so there …
We did a glass bottom your s few years back and absolutely loved it. You get to see the shipwreck plus it stops by Rock island lighthouse. …
We had a nice day out with Don and Captain Jack! First time in the area! Will be back!
Veri nice boat trip. Guide was informative
A wonderful experience with Captain Dave and Tour guide Andy. We took the 2nations Boldt Castle tour. We would highly recommend. Also, the picnic lunch available was well worth the money.
Fantastic tour, beautiful views, perfect day!
Great afternoon tour. Daniel our tour guide did a wonderful job!
Good job.
This was an amazing tour! Full of great information and a wonderful way to see what the Thousand Islands are all about. The stop at Boldt Castle was special too. We highly recommend this tour.
Narrator was very knowledgeable about the area which added significantly too the five hour trip. His wit and jovality made the voyage fun and entertaining, the bagged lunch was adequate and with a limited bar topped of an enjoyable lunch. I recommend this trip too all!
Wonderful trip, great tour guide ???? loved the river boat, castle was amazing ❤
Had a very enjoyable tour. Rock Island Lighthouse is very much worth the time. Only issue, and its a small one, audio equipment on the tour boat needs upgrading.
It was a great experience. The guide was very knowledgeable. Very much enjoyed. Would highly recommend.
This place is great. First we booked for the 10am tour but went to the wrong tour company. Clayton rebooked us for the 11am tour to give us time to get there. Once on the boat a few people snuck on and the boat was over occupied. We volunteered to go at the 1:30 trip. They were so nice. They gave us a full refund. Provided us with great lunches for each of our party. Gave us boatside parking and allowed us to board first so we could sit where we wanted. They were calling us royalty and bowing to us. It was all great fun. Tour guide was 15 yrs old and did A great job. Instead of being home playing fortnight he was giving a thousand islands tour. This place is great!
Very Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We did 2 boat trips over 4th of July weekend and were very happy with both
A thoroughly enjoyable boat ride in the 1000 Islands with an informative announcer adding much interest to the trip. The Saint Lawrence River, the islands and homes are exceptionally beautiful!
Had a great time.
It was a lovely tour. Guide and Captain were wonderful!!! Would like better speaker system…a little hard to hear.
We recently booked a tour with Clayton Island Tours and i am so pleased with the entire experience. From our first phone conversation until the minute you he tour was finished the entire staff was accommodating, responsive and very friendly. We did a private tour with pizza and wings for a reunion. The adults and children had a blast! Thanks so much for such a memorable trip!
The tour was easy to book and they sent reminders. We picked the 3.5 hour tour that went from Clayton to Boldt Castle with a stop there (we purchased the additional ticket to go on a self guided tour of castle and grounds) and returned elaborately through Canadian waters. It was a lot of fun, very informative, the knowledgeable guide was able to answer many interesting questions of the audience, the captain was competent, relaxed and friendly, the boat was well equipped (and due to the COVID pandemic not filled to capacity). All in all a solid introduction to the St Lawrence River.
Personable group!
Staff professional and knowledgeable. Tour very interesting. We got the lunch and tickets to Bolt island and it was great.
What a relaxing boat ride.❤
Really nice boat tour, lovely day on the river. Boldt castle was really fun also.
Wonderful experience being on the river, and listening to the stories about the river.
Fun boat tour. Excellent tour guide. BEAUTIFUL island views especially from the top of Rock Island Light House.
The captain was very good and our tour guide was very informative. They both did a great job. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the information about the area that was shared. The area is so beautiful! I toured Bolt Castle in the early 80s when it was in ruins. It was so sad to see the deterioration and vandalism that had taken place. The structure was such a marvel. To see it again after all the painstaking renovations was so uplifting and made me so happy! It is an amazing piece of architecture and I'm so glad that it's being treasured!
Amazing tour to rock island lighthouse. Staff were amazing and very informative. The picnic we purchased were all delicious!
Great experience. Very nice day
Execellent tour.
Great tour. Great explanation of the area. I highly recommend. The only flaw. Hard seating.
Fun time along with history of the area. Tour guide entertaining.
We had a great time!! However, when we got there (family of 5) people had taken our lunches and then there wasn’t any where for us to sit together as a family. Luckily a great family shifted so we could sit with them!! The lunch was a bit lack luster, but the tour guide Mike was hilarious and the ride was excellent!
Great Captain and Tour Guide. Beautiful scenery during the boat tour!!
It was an amazing time, they did great.
This boat tour was awesome. Brad was a great tour guide—knowledgeable, humorous, friendly and entertaining. Boldt Castle was a delight but the best part was being on the water and learning about the history of the area and the homes. Don’t miss a minute of this—you’ll love it!
Excellent tour guide. Very nice tour, boat is perfect size and not too large nor too small.
No social distancing and the boat was packed
Great tour for the money and very informative.
What a great time! Drove a little more than 2 hours to Clayton. Pulled in and parked. Friendly people selling tickets and we waited less than 10 minutes to board. Took the Boldt Castle and Two Nation tour. 3.5 hours. Got Sr. discount, which Uncle Sam's doesn't offer. 5 of us went. No waiting in line for anything. Matt was the Captain and Katie was tour guide. They were fantastic. Lots of information. We saw the Uncle Sam Tour boats and they were packed, most standing up to see. Seating was great on our boat! The day was beautiful, breezy and gorgeous. We ate at O'Brien's in Clayton, which was one of Katie's suggestions. ???? PS to Katie's Mom- she's wonderful! You should be proud!
Everything was great! They have a good truck to get a snack before going, the narration was hilarious and informative and all staff were wonderful. They give you lots of time to explore the cancel. Had an amazing time!!! 10/10!!!
Great tour, very informative and a good value.
