(Translated) The ticket offices are (in Fortune and St Pierre) a few meters from the quay in the city. If you are in Fortune by car do not forget to buy a "parking permit" with your tickets so that once at the quay we guide you to a parking lot.

St. Pierre Island and its Ferry service was a great experience. The Fortune side in New Foundland was a bit confusing. Make sure to arrive early enough to work your way through several steps before you board.

(Translated) The quay of the boat is very big and empty, but they still charge € 20 (round trip) to bring a simple bike. This is not justifiable by a lack of space. 20 € to transport a bike, it's insulting, nothing less. And I will not even dwell on the price of the ticket (73 € return) and parking (11,50 $ / night). Obviously, they can charge as much as they want since they have no competition. Meanwhile, the ferry between St-Barbe and Blanc-Sablon, with equal distance and better service, costs only $ 23 return, or $ 70 return for a car and a driver.

Two stops for ferry to St Pierre - confirm tickets and purchase parking pass here at ferry office, then walk/drive to Canada/France customs office across street at ferry dock. Long term parking at third site w/shuttle. If driving allow 1 hour for ferry customs and boarding plus 30 minutes for parking shenanigans. No last minute tickets or boarding.

Crossing to St Pierre was late departing which nearly left us in a tight spot for dinner when we got in. On the way back the water was really rough (not at all the crew's fault - obviously), but the crew were amazing at handling a vessel full of seasick travelers. You'd think they had training in both seamanship and nursing!
