I made a dinner tour and it was amazing, food and music were great. A very relax environment yet charming. The only thing missing was hot beverages, the temperature was a bit cold and a coffee or tea would have been great.

I had absolutely astounding customer service from the Ambassador team ! They answered all of my questions promptly, were very pleasant to speak with, and accommodated health requirements of our tour group. Truly they created such a wonderful experience and I plan on booking tours with them in the future.

Yesterday, 6 people in my family decided to book "Deep Sea Fishing" with Ambassatours from Murphy's Wharf. We paid $325 dollars for the tour. Let's just say it was an aweful experience. When you think of deep sea fishing, you think of large rods with bait on the ends anchored at the ends of the boat, fishing for shark, tuna, Marlins etc.. what this trip really was boating out into the harbour in 80 feet of water fishing for mackerel. We were packed on the boat (14) people, and each person given a rod with 3 mackerel jigs and a weight on the end of the line. The lines were tangled up constantly with other people fishing, and only a few people caught small mackerel, none of which were large enough to keep. I could have had better luck at Boutliers Point on the wharf or right off the pier in Halifax to catch mackerel, and save myself the $325 dollars!!!. Do not book this tour!! Waste of time and money. Mad at myself for getting hosed for so much money☹️

Hi There! I'm coming into my 5th season as a Cruise Coordinator, and I have to say that I Love My Job! Ambassatours is a place that you feel like a member of a large family, not an employee! Looking forward to another fabulous season on the Pier!

We went on the Fall Colours Cruise and absolutely loved it!!! Nice booths inside with a sheltered lookout deck above to enjoy the ~2 hours ride. The cruise was calming with lovely views of the colourful trees, as promised, and the huge lake houses along the water. Even on a cloudy and rainy day, there were beautiful sights to see. Great menu too - we opted for pizzas and apple cider hot toddy. A highlight was the live music performer who created the perfect ambience throughout the cruise.

This is my workplace I love this company they are great to work with. I have been here for three years and it's been a great experience. They are family-orientated, they work with a lot of seniors to give them summer jobs, and everyday is a fun day I love working for Ambassatours. They are definitely a five-star company.

“Hop off” at your risk. Greedy outfit. Over-books buses. Waits way longer than advertised a few if any seats available on the buses that come. Avoid this cruise ship ripoff. In response to the response - “a very busy cruise day” - give me an effing break. You know when the ships are in and have a choice - provide more buses or book less people. You choose to crowd and, as a result, the service blows. Don’t disingenuously make it sound like a fortuitous event. The cruise ships are your life blood - you should have enough buses and book and appropriate number of guests to have an acceptable experience.

Had an awsome cruise band was great and servers were excelent. Coming back!!!

Absolutely appalling lack of planning. First you stand in one line to get your tickets, then in another longer line to get on the one bus they have circling the city. If you enjoy waiting in a cramped, hot line for hours on end, this is the tour for you

Poor planning all around, full bus taking 5-10 to unload lots of elderly, and all stops with very short times at the locations. Long stops at locations that should have short stops and vice versa with stops that should allow more time they make them short ones. My tour guide was beyond boring and not very knowledgeable repeating herself multiple times over and over.

I took 2 tours with my wife with this company and we had a great time. We booked weeks before we showed up and the pick up was a perfect place, right near the docks so if you needed to find things to do before your tour you were right there. Our driver was amazing his name is Paul, very informative and very entertaining. Nothing bad to say really.

I feel fortunate EVERY day that I get to spend my time working here.. The culture is extremely positive, and I have witnessed many instances of the owners supporting their teams.

I would recommend the Gray Line to anyone. Top notch customer service. My trip was informed by the wonderful and funny Ed, our tour guide. He had a comprehensive knowledge of the city, and the surrounding areas. There was not a spare moment that I wasn't learning something new about Halifax and its surrounding towns. It was about an hour to and from Peggy's Cove and we got to spend a little over an hour there. I'd also like to personally thank Jessica. If not for her, I would not have made it to the tour bus on time. She was kind and friendly, and went above and beyond her duties to help a customer. Thank you!

There is way to much favoritism.Certain drivers work all the time with better units to drive and others take what is left.Pay little per hour and no benefits and will not pay any overtime so would rather have you not work for weeks to months until your year resets.Do not value drivers with experience and absolutely no seniority. Office staff comes up with ridiculous policies for drivers to follow, like get a customer off the bus and give them a vest to go behind the bus and direct you while backing up.Very few times would there ever be someone onboard qualified enough to do so not to mention the possibility of that person hurt.IF THE DRIVER HAS A CLASS 2 OR BETTER LICENSE HE SHOULD NOT NEED SOMEONE UNQUALIFIED TO DIRECT HIM OR HER! Only have a number of recent model buses and offer drivers higher pay to drive buses that alot of drivers refuse to drive because they are not fit to be on the road. No rewards for years of service for instance one very important employee that played a key role in the company was given a ONE hour party for close to 20 years service (IN THE MECHANICS WORK BAY) for fellow workers to attend and have a hot dog .(So CHEAP) for such years of service. They have signs on buses and on the building saying hiring, not because of growth ,it is because majority of drivers don't like the way they are treated and do not stay because of poor management. To make Ambassatours Great again" DRAIN THE SWAMP" starting with the COO ,Logistics and charter managers as they are doing a poor job! Would not recommend this company in any aspect to work for or to charter a bus from!!
