The main building is closed because of covid, but you can go to the front door and get maps . flags. They lady was very helpful for trying to find some nice outdoor walking trails around town. Easy enough parking as well, easy access to the highway.

Closed on the weekends? I guess it’s not really for tourists. All the signage on the highway should mention the very short business hours. Not everyone wants to go on social media while they are driving to find out how far across town they will have to go to get a map at a pop up location.

Tourism Chilliwack is a leader in BC for Destination Marketing Organizations. Their branding and swag are spectacular (always stock up on my stickers), their imagery is stunning, and the user experience of their website is - in my opinion - by far the best.

This is an exemplary visitor centre with tons of info pamphlets if you’re looking for things to do anywhere in B.C., helpful staff, and some nifty souvenirs. They even have a dump station in the parking lot across the street. The only thing they could probably improve is to allow overnight parking for one night!
