Just came back from hajj 4 days ago and the experience was great, the group leader was very knowledgeable and explained the process thoroughly. The hotel we stayed in was a 5 star hotel right on the haram in macca and the same for the hotel in madina. We had some people in our group complain that some rooms were tight and had 4 beds, I remind these people that this is not controlled by the travel agency but by the hotel. Those rooms cost a lot in hajj season and people will never pay for a double or single occupancy, its too expensive. The only issues we as pilgrims had, was the tents in Mina / arafa which were very bad, but thats out of the travel agency's control as well, they are controlled by the saudi government, all tents are the same for everyone else, the other issue is, some people who were very badly mannered and rude in our group. Sadly our group had people who thought they were on vacation, and expected the trip to be as such. Hajj is not easy and people need to understand that. The aspects of the whole trip from A to Z was explained, from the departure in Montreal including delays and long waits and connections at the airport, till the return back home, but as with every trip, you will always encounter people who ruin it for you, people want to be held by the hand and told what to do like kids, subhanallah...All I have to say to these people is shame on you, you went to hajj and you're coming back spreading lies and hate...

Hajj VIP price 12800$ has nothing to do with VIP. I was disappointed ! Amro didn't provide any receipt or details to show us the plane ticket cost, the hotels cost and the other fees we paid for. I even asked for it but no answer ! Is it legal to paid 12800$ without any receipt ??

No study on travel time: on our return our trip lasted about 32 hours. People arrived in Montreal exhausted. This is not the case of our companion, because he during the 8 hour stopover in Frankfurt, he took a hotel room to rest (information that he did not share with the pilgrims). For a much better setting than we had for $ 12800, those who came from the US were well pampered for US $ 8000. Au buffet, on nous prends pour des voleurs, à chaque fois il faut montrer patte blanche (hôtel à Médine) un bracelet en plastique à l’effigie de l'hôtel nous aurait épargner bien des désagréments. Aucun sourire de la part des gens qui travaille à l'accueil, pour toute question, on vous répond qu'il faut voir le responsable de votre groupe. Ce dernier bien sûr a d'autres chats à fouetter que de s'occuper des pèlerins qu'il accompagne. Aucun accompagnement pour les personnes malades ou pour les vieilles personnes. À Mina, il faut juste se débrouiller seul, notre accompagnateur ne dort même pas avec nous (pour lui et son fils c'est VIP), ce qui veut dire qu'il n'est au courant de rien. Aucune étude quant au temps du voyage: au retour notre voyage a duré environ 32 heures. Les gens sont arrivés à Montréal exténués. Ce n'est pas le cas de notre accompagnateur, car lui pendant l'escale de 8 heures à Francfort, il a pris une chambre d'hôtel pour se reposer (information qu'il a bien omis de partager avec les pèlerins). Pour un cadre bien meilleur que ce que nous avons eu pour 12800$, ceux qui sont venus des États Unis ont été bien choyés pour 8000$ US. Pour ceux qui ont l'intention de faire le Hajj, regarder plutôt du coté de notre voisin du sud (New York).

Salam, This is a review for Hajj package cost 12800$ called VIP: To be a VIP package all the following points should be VIP: 1) Hotel in Mekka 2) Mena tent 3) Medina Hotel 4) Commute 5) Trip to get in and out the country -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Based on my recent experience: 1) Mekka hotel: VIP (5 stars close to Haram) 2) Mena tent: under the expectations big number of people in small tent, 60cm space wide to sleep - Crowded & disgusting toilets - far from Jamarate - Stayed 5 nights in this tent (7 8 10 11 12 Dul Hidja) Knowing that VIP tents close to Jamarate are available for real VIP hajj package. 3) Medina Hotel: under expectations (even Amro's guide was surprised) Poor restaurant, not working door cards, very crowded elevators because the hotel was overloaded ... 4) Commute: VIP (comfortable and AC buses) 5) Return back home: under expectations Very exhausting trip, 7 hours of bus from Madina to Jedda + 6 hours of Flight from Jedda to Frankfurt + 8hours layover at Frankfurt finally the flight to Montreal 8hours ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall; Alhamdulillah we accomplished our Hajj, the conditions were "OK" but NOT VIP, this package can be improved if the points above will be addressed or the cost should be reduced If the travel agency thinks that the cost is justified in those conditions my recommendation is to provide a receipt or a contract between Amro and the customers to show fee details: Hotels, plane tickets and all other fees for more transparency.

Came back from Hajj few weeks ago, elhamdolilah it was worth it. I paid 12800 without any regret. People mentioning under that they didn't like it and it was expensive, they probably were thinking they are going to Bahamas or Europe. It was worth every penny; 5 stars hotels in both Makkah and Madinah. I have been with other companies and trust me, Amro Travel did a wonderful job. They say washroom were not clean in Arafat, they were people cleaning it every few hours. Do they know how many Hajjis goes inside? The tents were amazing, it's normal to have a smaller space, there is millions of people performing hajj. If you didn't like it, you can directly go talk to Amro Travel and let them know what they can do better to make it an trip at your expectation. I WAS informed of all travel itinerary, cost and details before I decided to go Hajj with Amro Travel. They worked professionally with me. Oui, il y’avait bel et bien des problèmes au niveau des chambres pas seulement à L’Hotel Dallah Taiba, mais aussi à Dar al Ghofrane pour certains. Effectivement ils entassent quatre personnes dans des chambres de deux, lits collés l’un l’autre. Par ailleurs je ne penserai pas que les lits collés l’un à l’autre donne plus de confort comme suggérer par le propriétaire en réponse à un commentaire, d’ailleurs même le chef de groupe a été mis au courant de ce problème, et il a essayé de ce mon mieux pour le régler. Ajouter à cela le manque du professionnalisme du personnel à la réception, aucun désir d’aider ou régler le problème. L’autre problème, c’est l’achalandage des ascenseurs par moment à l’hôtel Dallah Taiba, Ils y’en a même qui ont dû prendre les escaliers pour éviter d’attendre. C’est vrai, les hôtels ont été annoncés plusieurs mois avant le départ, mais ce qu’on a trouvé n’a aucun rapport avec les belles photos sur les sites web des hôtels (des grandes chambres avec un grand espace entre les lits), ce qu’on a trouvé à l’hôtel Dallah Taiba c’est des lits collés l’un à l’autre pas digne d’un 4 ou 5 étoiles, en passant le nombre d’étoiles prête à confusion, car ce qu’on a vu ne se compare pas à un vrai 4 ou 5 étoiles, et je me questionne vraiment sur le processus de classification de ces hotels. Ça ne serait pas honnête de ma part de dire que tout était mauvais, et le but de mon commentaire n’est pas de mettre en doute les bonnes intentions du chef du groupe ni l’équipe qui était sur place pour aider (nahsabouhoum kadhalik), mais je pense qu’il y’a beaucoup de points à améliorer, c’est pour ça je voudrais ajouter quelques suggestions à la fin de mon commentaire : 1- Donner un contrat détaillé au client (signé par les deux parties) qui protège les droits de chacun, et qui inclus avec précision le type de service et de chambres (petites ou grandes et avec vrais photos). 2-Prévoir une forme d’assistance pour les personnes âgés pas seulement durant les manasiks, mais même après, là ou ils sont souvent malades et fatigués, n’est serait que pour savoir s’ils sont corrects spécialement durant le voyage de retour et les longues heures d’attentes entre deux vols. 3-Faire un sondage de satisfaction (par exemple distribuer des formulaires à la fin du voyage) dans le but d’avoir un aperçu et d’améliorer les services. HAJJ TRIP First of all, I would like to thank Sheikh Saad for really making this trip easier for us. People expect they are going on a vacation and that the hajj trip wont have any complications. To be honest, we went to really good hotels. Especially the one in Makkah just in front of the Haram. I can't thank God enough for being able to do Hajj for the first time. Salam, I would like to Thank Amro Travel for organizing the most amazing trip to Hajj. The hotels were very good, I have seen them online before booking and all pictures and reviews were exactly as when I have been there. Dar Al Ghufran was just in front of the Haram and their service was amazing as well as the buffets. Hotel in Madina was great and had really kind staffs. Both of them are very known 5 stars hotels. Sheikh Saad was there with us for each step. He helped us a lot, guided us and answered all our questions. He even assisted all sick and elderly people, JazakAllah kheir.
