(Translated) This tour of Quebec City is off the beaten track. Under a somewhat sanitized air, the city of Quebec, and particularly the Saint-Roch district, offers in reality a great diversity of unusual places, small shops and excellent restaurants. Jean-Marc, the guide, offered us a pleasurable dive into the cradle of the working world of the capital of the beautiful province. I recommend !!

Excellent tour! Loved the guide, Marie, who was very informative and friendly. I also loved the neighbourhood, which seems to be very tightly knit and environment conscious. And of course the food pairings were delicious! Cheers!

It was a pleasure having Richard as our guide. He was friendly, humorous but yet very serious and determined to show us the best of Saint-Roch neighbourhood. Despite the rain, our group of 6 tourists enjoyed the food, drinks and his insightful commentaries of the city. For the food sampling, the portions are each appropriately sized and paired with drinks. By the end of the tour, we were all stuffed to the maximum (not that I am complaining). ???? Richard also shows professionalism and passion for his job. There was a slight issue with some late participants at the beginning of the tour, but he dealt it very professionally and avoided making everyone else feel awkward. Before ending the tour, Richard even went the extra mile by offering to help non French-speaking clients to make restaurant reservations for the following days. Truly kind and professional. I am really glad to have joined this tour, gone off the beaten track and discovered this lesser known Saint-Roch neighbourhood. Had I not done it, I would have just stayed in the old part of Québec City with all other tourists. Isn't it always great to discover new things?

(Translated) A succulent afternoon and very pleasant to walk in the streets of St-Roch. Even having grown up in this city I made several discoveries, like the Pied Bleu, an original and convivial cold meats. We also visited the great classics of the city: the Café du Clocher Penché, the Circle, the Barberie. All these stops, interspersed with explanations and anecdotes about this old district full of history.

I wish we would have taken this tour as soon as we got to Quebec city! We had all kinds of excellent food and our guide showed us all the best places to go for food we might be searching for. Lots of great alcohol too! A fair amount of walking though which wasn't a big deal for us but some people

This was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Quebec City! Isabele was a wonderful tour guide and every single thing we got to sample was to die for. Isabele was fun and had great stories and anecdotes to share. The restaurants and cafes we visited were all lovely and we’ve already made a reservation to go back to one for dinner!

(Translated) Very interesting but often too much alcohol for what we eat ...

This was a great taste of several places I wouldn't have been able to visit all in one day trip otherwise. Everyone was welcoming and ready to show off their restaurant. Each one gave a little advertisement to come back as we were eating. Some of our group were annoyed at how long the director at the last stop talked about his location. I enjoyed that I got a mini history and museum time along with my food tour.

Briana Relland

Pierre was so cute and amazing, we had such a great time trying out the best most luxurious places in the city!

(Translated) We went on a gourmet tour of St Roch district today with my husband. We recommend it with your eyes closed. The guide is really very nice, gives a lot of information on the history of the neighborhood and the quantities offered in the tasting are really correct! We get what we pay for. If you want to discover this area, do not hesitate to go through this gourmet tour! ???? ????

My first food tour ever. Our tour guide Sebastian was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable with the food and with Quebec's history. This made our tour not only a food tour but in a way a historical tour. Sebastian was extremely friendly, funny and helpful which made the tour all the better. I recommend to everyone.

Tina Lemay

Fun food tour with a small group where you will sample a variety of local fare as you stroll through a few streets in Old Quebec. Our tour guide, Florence, was lovely, lively and interesting as she shared a bit of history and personal humor that made for a memorable experience.

Did the old Quebec food tour on December 30th and what a great experience. Our guide was Samuel and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful city and always explained using humour. The locations we visited were all great! My favourite one was Be club bistro - best Mac and cheese I’ve had, so good my husband and I returned after the tour. The tour was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the city and different restaurants around. Great tour ! Thanks Samuel for being an excellent guide.

Cecilia and I thoroughly enjoyed the walikg food tour thru Saint Roch with Emily and Richard! We tasted awesome local raw cheeses, the best authentic poutine, excellent vegan organic key lime pie, delicious chocolates and wonderful microbeer! We highly recommend this experience for all !!! Great people and full of history and local stories!

Samuel, our guide, was fantastic. The food was amazing and Saint Roche was beautiful. It was nice to have the inside scoop and eat delicious food.

This is a must for anyone coming to the city. Our guide, Sebastian, was energetic, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. His knowledge about the history of the area of Saint-Roch was a pleasant surprise to our tour. I'm not sure we would of wandered into this up and coming, young and artistic part of Quebec City if it wasn't for the tour and thankfully we did. Each stop offered a unique chance to sample some of the wonderfully diverse food in this beautiful city.

(Translated) A super interesting activity; an excellent choice of restaurant, interesting historical content and a friendly and jovial guide - Go there !!!

Our tour with Guillaume was exceptional! He made us discover the Saint-Roch district with humor, anecdotes and professionalism. This tour is a unique experience to meet and discuss with other travelers but also to discover the Saint-Roch district and the variety of small shops and restaurants that the city has to offer. I highly recommend this activity if you are visiting Quebec City.

The food tour was the perfect way to explore Quebec City.

My mother, grandmother and I went on the Old Quebec City Food Tour on our recent trip to Quebec. This was both our first time to QC and our first time on a food tour so we had no idea what to expect. There were 5 stops, each with delicious food (the fancy poutine was our favorite!) Our tour guide, Sebastian was so knowledgable and explained a great deal of history about not only the food but Quebec City in general. Many fascinating cultural details. Bonus: he was hilarious and did a great job keeping us entertained. 3-hour walking tour sounded long but in reality was never grueling even for my grandmother. Sebastian did a great job walking slowly and making sure no one fell behind. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and is interested in learning something about the city. Totally worth the money!

Scott Robson

This was a great tour, lots of good food and lessons in local history and culture. Pamela, aka Pammy Poppins was amazing! Really enjoyed all the tastings!

Patrick Stone

The highlight of the tour was our host, as he was very knowledgeable kept us engaged and deserves two stars more than the value we got, so that is why 3 stars. This tour is a lot of walking and some base history of the city and less about food as two of the stops were a piece of candy (like fudge) the other a dry empty Croissant & a bottle of water. If you are like us and appreciate different foods, this is not for you. From the three other restaurants, the sample was the size of a qt portion of an appetizer. We also chose for the alcohol option and it consisted of one 1-1/2 oz sample of local white wine at one location and a ½ oz of Gin at another. What this tour did for us is where not to eat and when it ended at 3:30 we went for dinner by 6. Since this review the Co responded to me and promised to look into the selections from the restaurants and thanked me for the review. This shorly shows Integrity which is what I like

Amazing Canadian-French cuisine and history providing the true Quebec experience. The tour left me full on delicious food and the rich history of Quebec’s beginnings. Highly recommend!!!

One got to sample many different foods as well as learn some history of the city from an English speaking guide, which can be challenging if you do not speak French. The St Roch neighborhood tour was better than the Quebec city tour. Because the crowds were smaller, and the food was actually better.

Amanda Pizzurro

Awesome tour to go on when you first arrive to city! Delcious food on tour, easy walk tour, learned some culture and our tour guide Emily was great!

Frédérique

This tour is great! The perfect way to discover Saint-Roch that turns out to be the coolest place in Quebec City. I would definitely recommend this visit :) The guide gives us precious information about the history, the culture and the culinary scene of the neighborhood. It really feels that we've learned and discovered a lot about Quebec city! The foodie part of the visit was really exciting. We've tasted things I never had before, such as sour beer or a mix of tea and cheese, and we've meet some young entrepreneurs that started great shops and restaurants. Everything was local and truly delicious! Thank you very much for this awesome tour!
