Awful customer service - moved dates with no refund. AVOID I booked a cruise with my girlfriend for June 5th 2021 thinking everything was okay. We planned our 4 day weekend around this cruise. Last minute I get a call saying the date needs to move, that no boats would be operating till the 19th. I asked for a refund and they said they could only move the dates. They blamed "Monsieur Legault" and said they couldn't operate because of government regulations. Meanwhile....Tadoussac Otremont, a company I SHOULD have went with, was operate at capacity and they were sold out during my stay in Tadoussac. The owner of my chalet said it best. "They don't want to refund you and couldn't go because not enough tickets were bought and it's not worth their while to operate and pay employees." There was also a lot of eye-rolling when the letters AML were mentioned. Conclusion, please do yourselves a favour and avoid this company. I'm presently disputing the charge so we'll see where this goes. But very disappointed in AML. Why should the customer pay for a date that they didn't change?

This experience was awesome, the afternoon ride allows you to see more whales. Arrive early because there will be a line up and you may have to park up the hill so wear comfy shoes. Parking is $5.

Do not take their cruise because our journey was ruined!! We drove 300+ km from Quebec city to take the cruise on Friday but the ship was broken. They promised to call back to offer refund but we waited until Wednesday without receiving response at all. We had to call them, but the manager told us not only zero compensation for our time and economic loss, but also no refund could be given. The company is not responsible or trustworthy. Take our lesson.

En plus, manque de temps évidemment pour aller dans le Fjord alors que la croisière le prévoyait. Nous n'avons pas payé pour faire une balade au froid sur le fleuve mais bien pour voir des baleines. Finalement, le personnel pourrait orienter mieux la clientèle. Ha oui, frais de stationnement aussi.

We were skeptical about this cruise—usually these touristy cruises are pretty lame, but we were pleasantly surprised. The guide did a great job introducing the region using anecdotes from the lives of those who built Quebec and made it what it is today. Not something we would do again but something we are glad we did once.

We did the dinner cruise and had the signature table. The table was great with a great view. Our food was also amazing and very filling and was worth the price. We had an amazing experience. We got to see alot of whales . Trip went smooth. People were respectful and staff was very helpful. It was hard to social distance with so many people onboard. Bring a warm coat, it gets really cold on water. We took the grand fleuve from tadoussac. It you are driving from Quebec city then please give yourself an hour or two extra time. It gets really busy and you can get stuck in a long line up for people getting on the ferry.

A nice jaunt on the Saint Lawrence. Rather touristy but you get great views of the whole of Quebec City and Chateau Frontenac from the river and the staff is friendly. FYI you don’t get as close to the waterfall as the promotional photos might make you believe (see un-zoomed photo). Another good option (if you don’t care about the audio commentary) is take the ferry to Levis and take photos of Quebec city from that side.

Nevertheless, we were extremely disappointed with our "gourmet box": On the menu, you are made to believe that this is good food of your choice. In fact, it is more of a plastic canteen style tray with 2-3 pieces of each stale produce with a small cube of Kraft sauce. Nothing to do with the menu. In addition, the "crispy strip of chocolate and berry coulis infused with boreal vanilla" as well as the seasonal berries are in fact an industrial vacuum brownie, 1 apricot and 4 cranberries. We didn't see any salmon or anything. For $ 25 / person it is inadmissible. (Original) La croisière était bien dans l'ensemble avec une vue imprenable sur Québec. L'histoire racontée par le guide est assez enrichissante. Néanmoins, nous avons été extrêmement déçu par notre "coffret gourmand" : Sur le menu, on vous fait croire qu'il s'agit de bonne nourriture à votre choix. En fait, il s'agit plutôt d'un cabaret en plastique style cantine avec 2-3 morceaux de chaque produits défraichis avec un petit cube de sauce Kraft. Rien à voir avec le menu. De plus, le "languette croustillante de chocolat et coulis aux petits fruits infusés à la vanille boréale" ainsi que les petits fruits de saison sont en fait un brownie sous vide industriel, 1 abricot et 4 canneberges. Nous n'avons pas vu de saumon ou autre. Pour 25$/personne c'est inadmissible.

It was a very bad experience. What happened made me won't go to this place again. We booked the trip at 4pm on Friday, and after going through all the formalities and waiting for more than half an hour, we were told that the zodiac was broken. The staff said the person in charge was off duty, so they couldn't make any decisions and only gave us two options: 1. Rescheduled for the next day. 2. Leave contact details (they promise someone will contact us on Monday with a satisfactory solution). Since we have to return to Toronto the next day, we can only choose to leave our number. After waiting for two days, no one contacted us. We called in on Wednesday, and their staff asked us to reschedule the cruise. After speaking with the manager, she said that she could only allow us to postpone to the next year. If I want to apply for a refund, I have to contact other departments, but she can't guarantee the refund. When I asked to speak with their Customer Service or higher authorities, she told me Customer Service are off for the day(it was 3pm when I called in) and she is the only one in charge. I was so disappointed. I am not the only one in such a situation, as a company that provides services, they did not have a positive attitude to solve the problem. They don't treat their customers fairly！

Not Impressed with Customer service at all !! Marie -Josee Picard is very rude and unprofessional . I contacted AML via email on behalf of my offices holiday planning committee, as we were interested doing our Christmas party with them. I got a response from Marie -Josee Picard - Assistant sales director. I called to clarify some half as quotes without explanation to them, she was honestly so unpleasant its unbelievable. Im not sure what world she lives in , but being pleasant while someone is interested in giving you their business is important - or maybe thats just me.?? She should have been pleasant, polite and professional. its to be expected that planing a holiday party you will be asking questions and asking for estimates .Instead im asking her questions over the phone and i get "WOW" as a response ??? If she isnt up to the task of answering these question or helping to clarify the quotes that shes sending she should consider finding another line of work. For her attitude alone and based of her attitude alone. we will not be choosing to go with Croisieres AML. So rude and Unprofessional. P.S If your annoyed because i spoke English to you thats too bad were in Quebec but its still a bilingual province - FYI

A long way to go, but worth it. Wear really warm clothes, it is very cold out on the water for 3 hours. The zodiac is smaller and more exposed, and there isn't a toilet on board. Go to the bathroom before you get on. The larger boat has facilities, but is further away from the water. The tour guide was very helpful in both French and English, providing us with where to look, what whales we were seeing and plenty of information about the lives of these gentle giants. We hired a car from Quebec City and drove nearly 3 hours to get there. It's a big day, but will stay with you forever. We visited from Australia.

overall a positive experience but basically ruined by the end of the tour. We were the last boat to start the tour and the first to go back to dock, for no apparent reason. we could see the other boats in the distance around a group of whales breaching and jumping as we left - something we hadn't seen yet on the tour - and everyone just watching them disappear while the other boats enjoyed - heartbreaking. what an awful end to an otherwise excellent experience.

We went for a 3-COURSE DINNER CRUISE & FIREWORKS ABORD THE AML CAVALIER MAXIM on 9.8.2017. It was a splendid evening with a most beautiful sunset, the dinner served was delicious, the staff friendly, however the time for the meal restricted to two and a half hours. It would have been lovely to have time for dances in between courses outside or inside since on every platform of the boat there is a dancing floor. We did it ourselves outside but nearly missed the last course. After the meal the music outside (it was called traditional this evening) chosen by the DJ was very loud and stereotype and not as expected inviting for dancing. Many people went inside the boat where the waiters already have cleared all the tables. The firework were smashing and the artistic presentation most impressing although done without net scaring. To summarize we spent a most lovely evening on the AML Maxim which has some potential for improvement.

Amazing.. Got to watch atleast 15 whales. They didn't came all the way out because of our boat timing but it was still worth it. I went on 4 PM boat The 1 PM is much recommended as the boat captain said there were many whales that time, and they came out But any boat you go its worth it.

We had a great time on this city cruise. Well worth the price. It last a couple of hours going from the port to nearly the Falls. Lots of great history shared by the tour guide (over the PA system). Plenty of options for seating ranging from various height decks, side rails, interior areas with air-conditioning, etc. A nice bar and gift shop.

We did the 90 minute cruise from Quebec City. Incredibly boring; scenery not that interesting. The falls are nice but you remain a long way away. Our tour guide’s English was so difficult to understand and so poorly worded that I had to translate for my parents from French (and my French is VERY far from fluent). But hearing 90 minutes where the most exiting thing to translate is the ore you’re sailing past or a prior history of ship building is not for me. Complete waste of money and time.

Look, if you like queueing for ages for ...everything and receiving poor canteen style food (some of which was raw) then this is the trip for you. Add that to the fact that you don’t float out at sea for your brunch so half the boat is literally looking at a rusting metal sea wall (because you’re put in the basement of the boat so that they can double their money and board people above for the sight seeing element of your trip. Just to be clear. You eat at the dock and look at a metal wall and THEN you go out to sea and share the boat with any old tourist. This has got to be the most budget cruise I’ve ever done. It has no class at all. Staff are badly trained, scraping plates away on to huge bins infront of guests, clearing up and closing down tables around you when people are still eating. I did try to make my feelings known but the language barrier was too great.

So, if you are an odd-numbered group, you risk waiting all day to be able to make a 6-minute flight (unacceptable !!!), however, the appointment was fixed with AML to precisely avoid the waiting time. I went back to AML, they didn't want to know anything ... For the first time in my life I regret my vacation I trust AML more Too bad that such natural sites are managed by incompetent people (Original) Très déçu du service recu: 1- personnel qui gère le stationnement croisiere à baleine non professionnel 2- le bateau de croisière à baleine était sale au niveau de la salle à manger et les tables brisées. 3- nous avons reservé le tour a l'helico à 14h30. À notre rdv, le commis de Go helico nous signale qu'il faut attendre une 4 eme personnes, car l'helico demarre seulement à 4 personnes. Donc, si vous êtes un groupe impaire, vous risquez d'attendre toute la journée pour pouvoir faire un vol de 6 min (inadmissible!!!), pour autant, le rdv était fixé avec AML pour justement éviter le temps d'attente. J'ai remonte la problématique à AML, ils voulaient rien savoir... Pour la première fois de ma vie je regrette mes vacances Je fais plus confiance à AML Dommage que de tels sites naturels soient gérés par des incompétants
