This was an interesting little stop on our visit to cavendish! Lots of cool stuff to see and cute little gift shop at the end where we got a 3 armed monkey. Kids wanted to rush through, but I found the note cards with the displays interesting to read.

Good way to spend 45 minutes. They have a few cool things. There is something for everyone. Don't miss the Berlin Wall when you walk in. I walked right by it until my husband pointed it out. It looks like part if the lobby.

Fun activity for you and the kids. You can make it a double feature. A handful of rooms, cool statues outside fun all around. The kids lived it!

I remember being here when I was a child and I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy it just as much going back. There are some retro/antique 25c game type things along the way that are really cool and a giant light brite that was awesome. At the end there is a wax station to make a mould of your hand. Very hot but soo worth it

All the artifacts had good story's to it, some of them more bizzare then other's. The Ripley's museum was place in a nice place with a mini put and a Beaver tail shop with great pastery's.

A great way to kill a rainy day when in Cavendish. The price is much better if you bundle the wax museum and mini-golf. You can put about 10 years between visits however... I was here in 2007-2008 and returning this year, I would say about 25% of the exhibits were new.

Over priced collection of framed magazine pages, a few faded tvs running looped clips in a badly lit hall. Everything out of date and worn out. Takes 20 min to do everything or 30 seconds if you walk strait through.

Entry for a family of four will set you back around 50$. This is in line with other activities in the region. If you are not the type to stop and read about exhibit pieces, it will not be worth the price. If you do take the time to stop and read, it can be worth while to stop. Go with children of reading age, they will probably like it. They have some very interesting pieces in there.

I really enjoyed it ! My kids ADORED it ! Great for their ages... might be a little bit scarybin some parts for younger children...but the staff did mention that ahead of time :) my kids are 10 , 12 and 16 and they just loved it and didnt want to leave ! Being a mom on a tighter budget , I did find the prices to be fair enough.. and they do offer packages for mutliple attractions ( such as wax museum and mini-putt ) . The kids got to make a wax hand with choice of some colours while I enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff :) thanks for the nice time and 10 thumbs up to the 3 wonderful ladies working during our visit :)

Staff could barely break a smile. They weren't rude but not exactly friendly. This behaviour caught us off guard a bit. Very pricey for what it was. Cool exhibits, but $50 for a family of four (2 smallish children) seemed excessive, especially considering we didn't pay extra to view the adjoining wax museum. 50/50 recommendation.

My kids loved this place. I wish it was a bit more updated with more modern tech, which is the only reason this has 4 stars. Entry is reasonable, with 4 adults and 2 children costing around 100 dollars, which included the wax museum entry too. I enjoyed Ripley's way more than the wax museum. I would probably not go to the wax museum again, but if we are in the area we will stop by Ripley's!

COVID-19 Social Distancing Regulations for how many Customers/ Seperate Groups allowed in at any one time were extremely lax/poor. The exhibits were interesting but the stress from other ignorant people crowding you in a confined space and the lack of staggering how many can go through at any given time by staff detracted from the experience.

They definitely have some interesting stuff, I recommend going though Ripley's and also the wax museum next door. Both are impressive for the size of the location. While I was in they had Luke Skywalker's original lightsaber on display for a limited time. I'll include a picture. Otherwise lots of fascinating stuff for kids and adults. I would recommend checking it out if you're in PEI and looking for something to do for about an half an hour or so.

Even if you can not read English for description posters, an image, sculpture or statue is worth a thousand words !!! ;) (Original) Un musée de l'étrange où on pourrait croire que tout est faux alors qu'on y trouve des bizarrerie de la nature, parfois de nature humaine, parfois par la nature elle-même. Mon seul hic, le tout est en anglais. Même si vous ne pouvez pas lire l'anglais pour les affiches de description, une image, sculpture ou statue vaut mille mots!!! ;)
