I took out travel insurance with this travel agency and the company they deal with is old republic Canada ins.my mother in law caught a gastro on vacation and went to emergency for treatment at a cost of 285.00 euros.and the insurance premium was $720.67 for medical. When I made a claim I was told by the insurance co to first claim from Medicare Quebec and that they would pay the difference. Then they requested that I fill up all of their claim forms and medical forms.they know how to wear you down all this for such a small amount. I made a medical claim in the past on vacation all I did was hand in the policy number and the ins co which was manulife and the bill was for $5000.00 Canadian and that was it .no forms for me to fill up etc .
