Sorry Captain... You forgot to introduce yourself... YIKES! That's a pretty big faux pas to start the tour. But you still did a great job getting us out there to see the whales. Not your fault the other guy's boat was "mugged" by those friendly Mexican-trained humpbacks, blowing whale snot on his passengers and giving them the thrill of their lifetime as the whales practically climbed into their boat and took pictures of the tourists!? You got us to six humpbacks, and my only complaint would be your impatience--trying your best to get us close to breaching whales and missing out when the more sedate ones were practically swimming under us... Best value tour on the docks.

Awesome time! Lee was great and is full of knowledge with all of the wild life that we saw along our trip (orcas, humpbacks, harbour seals, porpoise, etc). Highly recommend going by and hopping on a tour!

Awesome tour! Our guide, Tom, was very knowledgable and funny. We saw a lot of different wildlife (Orcas, Humpbacks, Sea lions, and Seals). My family and I loved it!

It was a wonderful experience. We were on one day trip from Abbotsford to Nanaimo. All thanks to lady at Nanaimo tourism. She recommended Campbell River for whale watching. So I booked with adventure quest for 10am tour. Captain Leigh was great. He gave tidbits of interesting information about whales. And we were lucky to see humpbacks jumping out joyously. We got to see sea lions as well. And captain Leigh stretched tour beyond 3 hours to show us pair of killer whales who were trying to hunt a sea lion sitting on a rock on shore. So all in all it was a great trip. Worth every penny.????????

Hubby & I enjoyed the tour today! Big thanks to Captain Leigh for sharing his knowledge about whales and wildlife! Within the span of only 3 hours, he was able to take us to where we can see orcas, humpbacks, seals and sealions. His huge sense of humor, I must say, was what we liked most about him as it indeed has played a big factor in keeping the entire trip so relaxing and fun! Hope to see flying whales/jumping humpbacks next time though! Lol! Looking forward to another adventure with your team next summer! P.S. Have fun when you visit PI at some time in the future!

We are so pleased with our experience from Adventure Quest. We had an amazing day on the water with an awesome Captain. (Leigh). He ensured we were all comfortable, fed and got to see whales, bears, sea lions and eagles. He's very knowledgeable about the area, wildlife and ocean. Would not hesitate to book again! Great tour, owner took responsibility to make sure our trip was fulfilling. Great lunch served. Saw 7 bears, 2 humpback whales and 4 killer whales. Expensive but worth it.

Awesome tour with captain lee ! We saw a pod of orcas that we got to follow for a while. Truly beautiful creatures. We also got to see two humpback whales ! Captain lee is what really made this tour stand out - he was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great info. Highly recommend !

We just returned form an amazing trip. We have two young kids (ages 2.5 and 6) and they were both welcome and included in the tour. Great for families. We saw killer whales and humpbacks too. The owner took extra time ensuring we saw whales that were “putting on a show” and was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the whales, and their beautiful environment here in Campbell River. He told us about their Grizzly viewing trip and we plan to come back for that one without the kids. Highly recommended this company. Many thanks for an amazing and unforgettable day!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. We saw humpback whales, eagles, dolphins, stellar sea lions and a black bear with her cub on the coastline eating mussels. The tour is very professional, well-managed and enjoyable.

Booked a 3 hour whale tour and I was a little concerned about weather having been out on a freezing zodiac whale watching tour. It was a nice day around 20 C and everything but those zodiacs are freezing. On the day of our trip it was showery which did not help my anxiety, but fortunately the boat on this tour made all the difference. I was very impressed with the visibility. The boat had huge windows, two decks and a bathroom if you needed it. I will never travel on one of those rubber zodiac boats again sandwiched in between two people and bouncing all the way. I saw more on this three hour tour then on that four hour tour. The guide was extremely informative and funny. Thanks guys best value on the docks and I will most definitely be back.

awsome trip, very nice and knowlegable tour guide! the tour operates with the halcom adventure tours, which was very interesting as we got to hear about the first nations history while watching a total of 13 grizzly bears inkl momma bear feeding cups and 8 humpback whales on the way up. it is a long day but for us very worth it!

If you find yourself in Campbell River please do yourself a huge favour and book a boat tour with Adventure Quest. It's a small boat so you are guaranteed more of a personal touch and, boy, does Lee deliver, in spades! His local knowledge and great sense of humour make this tour so special. A bonus is that the boat had an onboard toilet, very handy on a 5 hour trip! Don't miss out on this gem, our 6 year old son was enthralled throughout and Lee even stopped the boat to pull an eagle feather from the water, seriously, nothing is too much trouble.

Brilliant, went there in 2019 for a grizzley bear tour. Saw about 12 to 15 plus whales etc on the boat ride over from Vancouver Island to Bute Inlet.

We booked a tour through a different provider, who partnered with Adventure Quest Tours to provide us with the boat and captain, as the original operator had an issue with their boat not being ready on the day of our tour. Both the owner (Leigh) and captain provided us with a professional service and fully sanitized boat (with onboard washroom!) for our 4-hour whale watching tour. A big thank you to the captain and Leigh for partnering with the other company so we could get out on the water and experience Humpback Whales from the comfort of their boat. A+ service, friendly, professional and very experienced out on the water.

We've booked whale watches with Leigh a couple times when family come to visit and it's always a good time. Great comfy boat, lots of knowledge, and views of humpbacks, sea lions, and other locals. Would book again no problem!

Amazing tour with owner and captain Lee who did everything to make this day unvergettable! Although we already saw lots of orcas and humpbacks and actually had to drive back he didn't gave up to show us additionally a jumping whale! What an experience!! Thank you so much! This tour is absolutely worth it! A 6 hours safe, spectacular and interesting tour in a small group, including great lunch.

The tour was awesome. Leigh is very nice and knowledgeable. He made sure we get to see the bears. He did beyond the program to allow us to see more wildlife when time allows. His boat was very comfortable. Our group is very sensitive with the motion sickness/seasickness. However, none of us felt uncomfortable in his boat. He also assured all the safety equipment and rules were followed and ready before he started the tour. Homalco native staff also were very welcome and professional. We did a tour on Oct 13 which was late for the season. We had very low expectation. However, we saw about 17-18 bears, a few humpback whales, porpoises, and killer whales. It was the best tour in my life. We'd recommend our friends and anyone to do the bear watching tour or whale watching tour with Adventure Quest. You'll not be disappointed at all.
