This is a must do activity that's affordable and fun for all ages. The owners and pilots are all very friendly and give an excellent tour of the area. We took the 6 minute / $49 tour and enjoyed it thoroughly as it was our first time in a helicopter. Thank you for some wonderful memories.

My fiancé booked a 20 min trip for us but while we were on the island the bc fires brought the visibility way down. First we had to reschedule, then on the planned day the smoke was so intense they called us to let us know we couldn’t fly. Finally family issues made it so we couldn’t fly on that rescheduled day. We called to cancel and 49 North readily refunded us and understood. I know this would have been a great experience but I can say the staff their are understanding and very fair. Thank you 49 North, amazing customer service.

Our pilot, Daniel, introduced himself to us when we arrived and gave us a very informative safety tour of the helicopter. I always get motion sick and always have the worst time with my ears when up in the air.. while on the west coast glacier tour (90 minutes plus added 15 min stop) with Daniel as our pilot, I never got sick once and my ears weren't at all in pain or popping BC the ride was so smooth - Daniel was very good at keeping us informed with where we were flying over and very good at smooth landings. We did a beautiful stop at a location on our tour and Daniel took into careful consideration of our safety in relation to our stop. The whole time we were completely awestruck. The views are 100 percent worth every penny you pay, they are something remarkable and feel so out of this world.. the green and blue waters, glaciers, little islands (to name a few). It really helps when your pilot is super friendly and fun to be on the helicopter tour with. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled. We were told you can do a kayak tour! You get dropped off at a location to kayak the glaciers, we will definitely be back to do that one next year for our anniversary! Epic epic ride to the comox glacier with a lunch stop! Our pilot Daniel was phenomenal and even popped over a ridge for us to see a lake we had hiked into previously so we could see it from the air! Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a helicopter tour!

I booked the Comox Glacier flight with lunch for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. The whole experience was fantastic. Dirk was a great pilot who told us a lot about the area whilst we were flying. He was happy to answer any questions. It was enjoyable to spend time on a secluded peak and there was no rush to get back. I would highly recommend 49 North. The staff, equipment and facilities are excellent.

Amazing experience from start to finish. My friends and I did the Heli-Paddle tour and it was truly a once-in-a-life-time day. Pilots and guides were a lot of fun, the flight to the glacier lake was stunning, and the afternoon on the glacier was a bucket list activity. Really great for our larger group, 5 stars is an understatement.

We had the time of our lives with 49 North Helicopters. I had wanted to propose to my girlfriend, and I could think of no better way to do it then on a secluded snow capped mountain top in the Coastal Mountains. I had planned it months in advance and as the date approached the weather was NOT looking ideal. Bastian (our pilot and point of contact) worked with me to move the date around on a weather dependant basis so that our special day would be as perfect as can be, and ohhh was it ever. Weather cooperated eventually and we had an unbelievable time. The views, the chopper, the pilot, the service, the knowledge...unbeatable. I cant say thank you enough to Bastian for making this day one that we will remember forever.

JB was an incredible pilot, we had a fantastic time. Every minute was eye widening and jaw dropping. No exaggeration. We did the glacier tour, we were placed on a glacier where we spent some time gasping at the epic views. Then we Continued the tour between mountain peaks, seeing glaciers and lakes and dozens of glacier fed waterfalls feeding vast forests and rivers.. Worth every cent, thank you 49north for the highlight of our trip to Campbell River.

We found 49N helicopters online and first booked the glacier paddleboard adventure with them. Before leaving for our trip, we decided to add on a 2nd helicopter excursion. Our pilot, Bastian personally called me on the phone and talked me through all possible activities. He even texted me several pictures of the glacier and referred me to the Instagram page to look at many more. 49 North Helicopters stayed in contact with us the night before and morning of our flights with updates on the weather. Brad picked us up from Tofino and we had a great 1st flight with him to Campbell River. At Campbell River, Bastian and James took us out in a different helicopter for the big event. We had an absolute blast with both of these guys. Great conversation, very knowledgeable, and they did everything possible to create an awesome and safe experience for us. On Day 2 we asked Bastian if he could find some Hot springs for us. And he did! We landed in a forest and hiked next to a beautiful blue river. Down a few ropes and into a gorgeous hot spring! It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the staff. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. These guys could not have been nicer and easier to get along with. And the price was very fair too! We will definitely be back for many more adventures to come. Thank you 49N Helicopters!

It's never too late flying in an Helicopter with doors off over the coastal mountains of BC. A gift from my daughter to my 80 th birthday. Daniel, my pilot, was wonderful and left me with an experience I never will forget. We had lots of fun and the scenery was incredible.
