Wow, Petra Buding at Fairview mall Transat Travel is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in my life!
I have never wrote a review on a place but the experience I had was so astonishing, especially for a person who works in face to face customer service and over the phone customer service.
My cousin is in the process of planning his wedding in Mexico, the deposit is due in April (May now but thats besides the point) I emailed Ms.Buding on January 26 I did not recieve a response to my request for information so I could arrange my finances and schedule till March 6th. Ms. Buding then infomred me that she had other things that took more priority then simply shooting me an email with the information i requested. She then began a sob story on how she works 12 hour days and still can't find enough time to do everything she needs to .... well hunny that's not my problem if you can't time manage yourself and prioritize people who are about to spend almost $2000 on a trip that is a LIFE EVENT, not just a stupid march break trip for $400. On top of that comment she said: "I'm also doing this on my day off in hopes to get caught up" excuse me? What do I care if you're working on your day off and even if you are you do not tell the client this! What was she looking for sympathy?
I recommend not booking with this lady who clearly is so unprofessional she has to resort to looking for sympathy for taking on too much work. She has now forced me to begin planning my own trip instead of being able to stay with my whole family at the resort. Thank you so much Petra and Transat for completely ruining a week that was suppose to be taken care of and looked after, a week that I should be spending with my family but due to people negligence and unprofessional demeanor I now have to stress about getting myself there to be able to celebrate someone who is important in my life.
