Pretty good tour. Live guided tour with audio headset. Amazing how many parts and the coordination that is required to make a vehicle. The tour is about 70 minutes and requires reservation online.

Staff were very friendly and had an indepth tour of the facility learning how each car is made and inspected before they get shipped to the dealer.

This Toyota plant is probably the cleanest automotive production plant I've even been to (and I've been to many, both in Canada and the US). The place is absolutely humongous and getting up there in age, but you'd never know from its appearance. Toyota must spend millions each year on the facility for building and land maintenance. The only thing to watch for is the shunt truck drivers buzzing around the property, as sometimes they drive a little aggressive.

It was really interesting. I took my Manufacturing Process class students. My students saw what I was telling them in class about different Manufacturing processes. The guides will pick you up from outside and then for the entire time they will accompany you. At the last there is a 10 minute video about the part of the plant where you can't go due to security issues. I would say a well spent time.

The visitors center is great featuring the first ever Corolla to drive off the line in Cambridge. The facilities are clean and open. Guests are greeting by wonderful, helpful staff. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a guided tour of the facility where you learn a lot about the culture. Phones and cameras are not permitted while on the tour for obvious reasons but the tour guides are fonts of information. While tour experience is about 90 minutes or so.

Not a bad place to work for if you don't have anything else going for you. What other job can start you off at $21 an hour with benefits and bonuses without having to have a college degree or a certificate for that matter. It's a factory so shift work is something to get use to. Very strict on policy so if you don't take your job serious then it might not be the place for you. Has a cafeteria which isn't to bad. Free lunch meals once a month through health and safety. They provide work shoes and glasses. And work clothes once a year. Also they have a free gym close by open before and after shifts. With your badge card you also get discounts at a ton of places and for golfers they offer discounted rates at local golf courses.

Terrible place to work. I'm a very happy person and this place almost took my soul. While I was working there I experienced multiple people commit suicide. So if you're cool with making an extra few dollars and losing your family - this is the perfect place for you. Poor management - terrible hours - overworked. This place really needs a union.
