Words cannot describe how truly grateful we are for the support and passion Pamela put into planning the travel portion of our Destination Wedding. Pamela was always quick to respond to any of ours or our family’s question/concern we had, and always SO professional! Our family all continued to say how great Pamela truly was to work with! There was a small hiccup in our travel plans (with Sunwing of course!) but Pam worked endlessly- even while on vacation- to make sure things worked out for us! Our vacation was fabulous and we all had an awesome time! We are so grateful for Pamela and truly don’t know what we would do without her! We used Pamela Walker with "I Do Weddings Away" to plan our destination wedding. She was extremely helpful and was a true professional. We had some very last minute hiccups with the original package provider, and Pam was able to power through it for us and find a solution on the 11th hour. We reached out to Pam after deciding on a destination wedding and we are very glad we did! We met for coffee and described what we were looking for in our big day. There were a few requirements we wanted from the resort in terms of services and amenities and we had a few locations already in mind to discuss. Pam got us pricing for the ones we were interested in, but also recommend another option, the Hyatt Ziva, that fit what we were looking for. After doing some research on the resort, we fell in love and ended up booking it for our wedding. The best part – it fit perfectly in our budget! Unfortunately due to the pandemic, our dream destination wedding was postponed and eventually cancelled. Pam was extremely sympathetic to our position and got on rebooking our date right away when we first postponed. We had then reached out to tell her we were thinking of cancelling but we didn’t officially pull the trigger. As soon as Air Canada announced they would be refunding travel affected by Covid, Pam reached out to us immediately to let us know we would be eligible if we were still considering cancelling. She submitted the request to Air Canada right away, and our whole group is now awaiting refunds of our deposits. Even though we didn’t get our dream destination wedding, we still plan to travel to the Hyatt Ziva when we are able. Pam helped us through an extremely stressful and difficult decision, and we couldn’t recommend her more!
