Nowadays this business receives a score of 3.3 over 5 and this rating was based on 127 reviews.

As you know, we don't usually bother to put reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Travel Agency is included in the category of Bus ticket agency.
Cleaner than most Greyhound stops, concessions are just machines. Small stop that functions Ok and has been reliable for a lot of years. Two women's toilets were not useable this time. One was locked from the inside and not marked out of service. There are shop to grab more food just behind the station and 15 mins will get you there.
Calgary terminal is dreary, kind of like a prison. The bathrooms are not the worst but could use a little cleaning more often. This trip, my bus driver didn't show up and the staff were reluctant to tell us why we had to wait 2 hours for another one to come. Don't use Greyhound if you have a place to be the same day as your ride; always late leaving and a "5 minute stop break" is 15 minutes.
I travel from Edmonton to Vancouver, via Calgary. I am not well so I walk slowly, like a penguin. The Greyhound drivers and staff are very thoughtful and helpful. They offered me assistance without my asking for it. A staff lent me his arm to grab on while walking, and I was offered priority to board.
Its nice and clean, the staff are professional, and I got off and on my buses without a fuss. The driver of the bus I'm currently on was very polite and made sure the elderly, disabled, and minors were on safe before boarding the rest of …
Our bus was an hour late because they couldn’t arrange a wheelchair accessible bus for a lady. While the terminal itself appeared well organised, they really should’ve arranged the wheelchair bus. This poor lady had her bags packed and was really sad to Watch they told her to come back tomorrow! I overheard this has happened multiple times to this lady with greyhound. Because of this they delayed our service and our connecting services by an hour. So everyone will be waiting for our bus. Surely a company like greyhound can avoid such a last minute scramble! Anyway there was an older lady working who had everything in order. But she kept shouting at people. Like defenceless people. She shouted that I had to pay extra for my luggage and embarrassed me and asked if I read any of the paperwork. Extremely rude. I was ready to pay for the heavy luggage but she went on and on.
Every experience I've ever had with Greyhound has been grossly sub-optimal. Want to talk to someone regarding your ticket? Too bad, you get an awful automated system that doesn't help with anything. Want to refund your ticket for a trip …
Very good service and cool staff. Very patient and friendly staff. Had gone there to drop my friends Aunt. They were very patient and helped her to get into the bus. Highly satisfied.
Public transit is close by. The depot is clean and modern. Not much available in the way of restaurants or stores if you have a long wait for your bus.
Spacious but dirty place. Tissues are everywhere in the washroom. Old and smelly waiting brench. And never use the indoor stairway, never.
They took all my medical cannabis despite all my paperwork being accurate and complete. Meaning if I have a siezure on this bus ride I will hold the depot's security team to full responsibility. Not to mention that they took 50$ worth of medication from me.
Much much better than the Greyhound terminal in Edmonton very big and it's right by the C-Train station, so if you have a layover you can head downtown to spend some time. The transition between buses was very smooth so no complaints here!
Pretty good service. It was pretty much a very hassle free experience everytime here. The staffs were very friendly as well. They assisted me with the connection bus that was late, which was very helpful. …
Terribly outdated, depressing building that hasn't been updated or cleaned in years. Seems like Greyhound refuses to invest in the comfort of their passengers in terminals. Always smells like either smoke or pee, or a pleasant combination of both. Staff are nice, at least.
I booked both of my tickets on line and never got e-mail confirmation. I have been calling and asking for help but I never get chance to talk to the actual person. Both of my tickets were charged and again I try to call for help then the supervisor just hand up on me. I have been taking greyhound for the pass 15 years and it never happened before. It’s very very disappointed. I still don’t know what’s happening here.
Shocking customer service at this location & always has been! Staff are rude & abrupt, and it always seems that they have more important things to do than issue a ticket! Dread it everytime..
Great place to get a Covid vaccine!!!
Went there for my covid 19 injection
Good choice for vaccination site in 2020. Efficient and friendly staff, well positioned in center city, spacious for good distancing, large parking.
There are a lot of chairs witch is nice. The buffet is not very pleasant so you are going to buy snacks for the bus ride you are better of doing it elsewhere.
Negative!
Pretty much what you'd expect. Staff is friendly and it's kept clean.
No longer the grey hound terminal. The building is nice though.
The customer service women is excellent, i was blown away she took care of the young mother struggling with her new born in her arms and 5 year old in tow. After helping this young mother with her baggage she made sure the little girl was amused with crayons and Paper while they waited for thier bus. I take my hat off to you.
It's now a place to go get tested and for the vaccine shots for the covic
CANADA LOST A WONDERFUL MAIL DELIVERY SYSTEM AND PASSENGERS ????
Kinda Shady but big enough to wait for your ride. The bus itself was great! Great seats and enough leg space even wifi from BC to AB. Thanks GH!
Lots of gates, helpful staff. It does not have much for ground level parking though. (Have to go around back and park on the roof.)
Arrived just before 20:00 & they had the grill closed. Had to hike several blocks to locate a more substantial eating option.
Gots ma first shot fisor civud vaccine.
The guy that helped me to buy my ticket was awesome..I had 7 items to weigh..and I got on with minimal bags as he helped me combine items..so my fees weren't that expensive
Great service for the price. Ideal for students traveling between Calgary and Edmonton. I have been using Greyhound service every weekend for past 6 months (September to February, Yes! winters and snow) . During this period, only one bus …
I use greyhound for my two boys 9 and 10, they usually get me discount prices since im a regular customer. Just wish they had a system in place to remember customers info for future trips. So much better servive than red arrow
Greyhound traveling service is very fine service with full comfort. One should must try this bus service in canada. Long journey is also they make so comfortable
Really disappointing. The washrooms are not clean, the food in the cafe within the terminal is awful. The serving is plentiful but it doesn't taste good. The potato fries? There isn't even any salt added, with that said I think it is …
I used greyhound once from a trip back to Toronto from Montreal. Terminal staff are rude in Montreal. Driver was professional, apologized for being 10 minutes late. Greyhound's reputation on bad customer service has led to less ridership in Canada, rather than improve customer service, they are cutting service. Won't be long before they go out of business. There will be alternatives bus companies (ie. Uber Bus???) coming to Canada.
I've never had bad service with Greyhound. Generally sticks to the schedule and everything from the waiting area to the bus is comfortable
This building is OLD and not well kept at all. Pretty sure the radon thing carpets that are at the entrances are the original ones from decades ago. Stairs have missing pieces and are a tripping / falling hazard and the elevator isn't a …
It was horrible. The driver was so awful that he refused to give my luggage at south location despite it has the tag to deliver at south Edmonton location. Rather he drove to North location and left the luggage in open space. We drove all the way to North Depot to ask for help to the driver about our luggage. He just treated us like a stupid man. He was so rude and told that go to North location as he left my luggage there. We were traveling from Calgary on 6pm buss to Edmonton on 4th Oct. He was a dark skinned man. I would like to get an investigation on the incident.
Permanently closed
Is it possible to give a zero! We had an important package going to a client that HAD to arrive today for a trade show they are participating in. I have never seen such a run around of no one knowing what is going on. Finally the client drove to the Red Deer depot only to find they had shipped it to the Lacombe depot (where it was going in the first place) and left it on the sidewalk. Yes left it on the sidewalk. We potentially have lost a client over this one. Now in order to request a refund, I have to fill in a form, send to the US and wait 4-6 weeks. NEVER AGAIN WITH GREYHOUND!!!!!!!!!!
Greyhound Calgary actually made me THROW OUT MY BAG because it smelled slightly of diesel (due to a previous Uber ride, where the driver had apparently spilt diesel in his trunk). The driver had a minimum of empathy and stood by basically laughing as he threatened to make us miss the bus. The whole of greyhound employees seem to very easily decide you're not worth treating like a human being. A truly miserable experience..
It's not like I expected much from a greyhound station, but this one was stuck in the 70s. Bad restaurant, no outlets, dirty bathrooms, uncomfortable seats. Granted, I was here unexpectedly and waited for four hours after a broken-down car that I learned would cost $2500 to fix, but I should have sat in a bar for three and a half and came here after.
Nice terminal, cozy and lot of seat. If you're lucky, you'll meet a funny guy with glasses and a bold head. :)
This place was brutal. Lots of sketchy stuff going on around here , especially with regards to the security staff. …
Awesome bus terminal. Great cafeteria. Awesome location. Close to ctrain. And taxis always waiting out front. Very clean. Biggest bus terminal I've been in.
No public outlets for charging. Walking access is limited. Guards have the not my problem attitude.
Took the greyhound ???? to Edmonton and I truly enjoyed it the bus driver was very gracious getting us to our destination
Was set up for COVID testing using nasal stabbing. Staff were kind and efficient. Took 15 minutes in total.
The lady in charge of checking tickets, is such a sweet lady. Yesterday our bus was running late and she was very apologetic. She even went to her office and brought out her candy bowl and offered everyone candies. Very sweet, she deserves recognition for acts of kindness. ????????????
I got in a car accident and needed to cancel or reschedule (days in advance) and after several hours and multiple phone calls on hold, absolutely nothing. Worst customer service and really obsolete. I have taken greyhound a couple times and I am always dissapointed whether due to unfriendly staff or drivers faking being sick to get off from work (while on route) constant delays, terrible web site, horrible return policy (near criminal) there are just too many reasons why someone should never be forced to use this service. The business strategy is archaic and deserves no place in the 21st century. If amazon entered this space greyhound would be finished the next day. If you can avoid travelling using greyhound then do so, there really is nothing noteworthy with this company. Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year everyone!
It isn't the most fun you'll have, but the price and service are competitive.
Went there for Vaccine injection. Very hard to find parking. Long wait, first outside, then inside. I know. they are trying. We were there 1 1/2 hours. It was at 520pm. Looks like alot of staff left or had supper at 6pm
Now used by Alberta Health Services as a COVID-19 vaccination centre. I'm unsure whether COVID testing is offered here anymore.
Nice quaint little place I think it could use a facelift to modernize with the times
Sister in law was travelling through this depo with 2 young kids when the highway to her destination was closed. They refused to help with a hotel at all. She was left with a kid under 1 and a 7 yr old stuck in a bus depo for over 24 hrs. I would recommend just paying for a flight at least an airline will get you a hotel not just leave you stranded
It was a cool place. Nothing much to it, you can get some snack and coffee if you want. A little bit organised but it could be better. The bus service itself is not bad. Free WiFi on board didn't make the trip too boring. I think it's a good alternative when you don't want to drive
Company didn't drop my mother's bags off at the airport where she got out. We drove to the downtown location and were told the driver had it on the sidewalk outside bus. We were told it would be put to the side until we got there and apparently someone stole it or they lost it somehow because that bag was never seen again. Greyhound didn't do anything about it. My mother had to buy all her clothing again for vacation.
This place doesn't have any power outlets to accommodate your layover waits. On top of that it is a 15 minute walk at least to the closest food place that would have outlets. The lockers are all broke so you can't leave your luggage here while walking to civilization. The bathrooms are disgusting and the customer service lady has an attitude that just doesn't make sense given her job. After taking the Greyhound across Canada twice this terminal is the worst.
Still the same old Greyhound and easy to get around on one level. Lol. It's all good. Less stressful that way. But I'm a bit surprised that they have downsized security and employees so that the new and foreign passengers that speak little English don't get confused with which bus they need to be on. That needs improvement. I wasn't too pleased that I had to pay an extra $15.00 for my small carry-on luggage, when I saw 7 other people carrying theirs on the bus in the overhead compartment for free. That needs improvement too.
Every went very well the second trip. Ron
Don't mistake the rating for my views on the actual travel services greyhound provides (that's a 1 star), but this terminal is a very good terminal. Lots of parking, clean bathrooms, easy to get too even though it's downtown. Great set up
For a supposedly "international city", this depot is a complete joke. Got off the bus with the intention of looking up a hotel close by and getting a room. It looks as if there were, at one point, about 50 plug ins throughout the depot to …
Looks very old and kinda run down. Still the cheapest way to travel, but I wouldn't leave my stuff unattended or overly trust random people.
The terminal is stuck in time with design and services on site. Staff is friendly and tickets are very affordable. Location is great but the potential is completely underutilized. Now that the company is shutting down in Calgary this could be a great opportunity for redevelopment.
all services are great but it should also have Wi-Fi otherwise its a great experience????
Last time we will use greyhound. Will find another way. They lost everyone's bag on the bus coming from Vancouver to Calgary. Waited for an hour until the bags showed up and the staff just brush off everyone's questions. Going back to Vancouver from Calgary they couldn't tell us where the bus was.... maybe they lost that as well. More than an hour delay in that direction with no answers while we waited.
very nice and the bus driver is a very good man who ia very polite and straight up. and me and my partner enjoyed our trip home to Vancouver. thank you very much greyhound station across Canada..
This place is low budget but fine 90% of the time. The other 10% is random schedule changes that you don't get notifications for.
Its really a good experience for me to travel to lloydminter from Calgary by grey hound the main specifications are it has a inbuilt washroom and wifi service. The seats are really very comfortable. Sure us safe ride .
Covid test there, excellent service
The service is great, prices compared to Red Arrow are so much cheaper, the seats are comfy and the drivers do a heck of a job keeping to the schedule ! They really deliver a great overall bus service. Recommend highly !
Received excellent service today at the Calgary Courier facility. The customer rep who dealt with our shipment was great to work with, the shipping rates were very reasonable, I hope the recipient at the destination has the same great experience.
Covid shots very organized
Staff are usually pretty busy and so there answers and service are speedy and to the point rather than particularly friendly, but they get the job done. Buses are more or less on time being the start of at least a section of the journey though and free WiFi helps pass the time.
The onsite staff and drivers at this location are exceptionally helpful and rarely disorganized. The owner is also very good to her employees. I remember when she came in to help out around Christmas last year. As long as you don't arrive high drunk, armed or are disgruntled you'll have smooth sailing in good time at this station.
It was the best location for the vurise shot
Seems like dynamic situations happens in this building. However, most of those staffs look like having long-term experience. Currently, many lockers are unavailable. Hopefully it get fixed, soon. Thank you for all staff, especially, drivers, who are make passengers having such a cozy and on-time journey to any place across Canada.
I accidentally booked a train ticket for a week later than I meant to and then went in to change it (without the actual ticket since I don't own a printer). Staff could not have been friendly or helpful (especially Geo, not sure if I've spelt that right..), and nothing was too much trouble. Could not be more grateful and would definitely recommend this service
Very good, people were very kind, efficient and professional. No line up, no waiting, in and out in 42 minutes. The nurse Genevieve autstanding.
Was a great place to travel from.
Good and efficient transportation facilities if you don't intend to drive in snowy and icy conditions .
Very friendly . Will only travel on gray hound. Everyone was awesome .The guy in Calgary when we where boarding was amazing. That was the 10:45 bus. Thanks for the great experience.
Wasted $60 simply because they didn't explain anything well. It was my first time using the bus and I don't think I'll ever use it again. What happened was I went to the receptionist and she told me what gate to go to. Not to talk to anyone or anything and then I kinda walked around and didn't see any line only ppl waiting so I thought they were waiting as well since no one gave me an indication at the desk nor the gate that they were picking up ppl already I was waiting for the next one which was going to Vancouver and not Edmonton
Its a bus terminal. Fairly clean. What can I really say.
The lockers gave been our if order since November 2017... it's June 2018. They have nothing posted so I planned a trip around being able to store my luggage. Communication is KEY to business success, Greyhound. Get it together or better yet, don't have broken services for over six months!
Fast freight services with top forklifting skills made by Jason/Calgary
The worst bus company in Canada. Always departs and arrives late. Took it twice and no more. In Calgary, they don't leave from the airport, you have to go downtown by bus or taxi, have your printed ticket ready (not on you phone, email, QR …
Connecting bus left before our bus arrived, next bus is sold out. Get to wait till 3 am. Stay classy greyhound
Keeping in mind . It's the cheapest bus you can take to go to Calgary then service provided was good
Long line for Covid-19 shot.
