$12 for a hot shower, you can't go wrong. The 4 showers are newly built they get cleaned in between each customer, included are full sized towel, face cloth, floor mat, shower stall also have a soap dispenser. The restaurant is currently under construction, The staff were very polite.

Excellent and fast Customer Service They have everything you need when you travel. All gadgets for your phone and car. Great selection of food. They have salads, breakfast hot sandwiches and Pizza. Lost 1 Star because as Vegetarian they only have a Vegetarian Pizza which is very good but it is never ready , you have to order it and wait 7-10 min and as Vegan option they only have hummus and pretzels snack. But beside the Store there is Subway . You can also bring your own food as there is a seating area with microwave.

They offer the cheapest gas price in BC, next to the store. The store almost have every thing that you may need as a traveler. the large and clean washroom was really helpful when we visit there. ;-)

First of all, there’s no restaurant or food selection besides what they have at the counter. The showers have really low pressure compared to any other J and they keep the temperature of the shower rooms pretty cold so you stand shivering till your dry and dressed. I can only assume it’s to get you in and out fast since they have 4 showers. But... at least they are very clean, have a large counter and bench place to put your belongings on.

I'm a long distance truck driver so I'm here regularly. This place has the worst customer service during the day. There was a line up from one side to the other. One person working till. 5 people behind the counter plus the manager over eating lunch watching the line up get longer tempers getting flared. This is just one visit. How about sitting in fuel line while customers are done fuelling and shopping in the store....of course there service is still slow now big rigs nearly lined up on the highway to get diesel. We are now buying DEF in new liskard so we can avoid this truck stop.

Just going to say it, BEST GAS STATION IN CANADA, and I travel one end to the other non-stop. Showers are as hot as you want for as long.g as you want, and they're crazy clean seriously. If you wake up in the massive parking lot with tons of room for semi trucks and any vehicle, go inside and the staff is so damn nice, they'll put you in a good mood instantly.

Why are u price gouging truckers? My husband was looking for a tv for his truck and you want TRIPLE what the tv would sell for at Walmart. A 55inch Proscan tv in Walmart is $500 and u wanted almost that for a 22inch!! How can you justify that?

Stopped in at 430am and was told showers would be an hr wait I was the only guy standing there. One employee scheduled for a busy truck stop ? No hot food available. I prefer flying j for these reasons but today I'm pretty dissatisfied.

Went to have a shower, they said it would be about an hour. They took my number to call me when ready. After an hour I went in to see how much longer, my number had passed and they said I'd have to wait again. I lost over an hour and don't have time to wait again. It's a sure way to annoy you're customers having them wait then not bother to call them. Not happy!

Everytime I stop here it's packed. Getting in and out takes forever. Showers are clean. NO HOT FOOD AFTER MIDNIGHT IS A JOKE! For people who work through the night it's nice to get some Hot food. Don't expect it here. They pull it out around midnight to make way for breakfast, That doesn't start for a few hours. So it's junk food or starve. Parking is also terrible here.

Truckers, avoid this place as much as you can. standing in a pond for fueling during the spring. no def pump working during the winter. 20% chance here or there not working. today, all their pumps were broken. im on a pump for more than 6hrs now. still no one can fix it. 1 star for frendly staff, but this is the worst flying J in north america.

I always love stopping here on road trips. The selection is wonderful and it's a nice place to stop for a bite to eat and a refresh. It's one of the better "gas station" type places to stop in Western Canada. You can get a hot meal, snacks, and whatever else you might fancy for a long road trip. Highly recommended.

Stopped by once to get gas. Lucky for me I opted to pre-pay. Card didn't work at the pump so I went inside. They then told me their card system was all down and to take money out at the ATM. Their ATM was out of cash too. Luck for me I hadn't pumped any gas yet. Ventured into the city to get gas instead.

A gas station, a mini-mart, a truck stop and even a station for filling tires and radiators. It is very well situated and organized so that there is plenty of parking and excellent traffic flow through. If you need a quick break from the highway, this is close to the town of Hope BC, where you can find most major banks and restaurants, a theatre, a park and a grocery store, several hotels and a few liquor stores. It's no luxury resort, but it fits the bill for pragmatism.

Completely indifferent staff after several issues trying to pay for diesel at the pumps. Very difficult for large non commercial vehicles to get diesel as the pumps have poor access for anyone towing a trailer unless you go to the commercial truck side. Nice store but going to take my business elsewhere from now on.

Edited review... 2 years ago the staff was awesome... My time here this time not so much... Needing to lay over for the night for gas, was told this is a truck stop not a car stop.... Trucks are allowed to stay the night but i wasnt. Even though 5 yrs of traveling not once were we told we were not welcome over night At ANY flying js(even tho we just purchased food and drinks).. We traveled in a station wagon and took up only one normal sized parking lot....id understand if i had a huge trailer or and rv and try to stay in the normal parking but no.......It was so upsetting that instead of put the 50$ in my tank here and getting our shower and coffee before hitting the road, we tanked upat the Esso across the street..i will not be using this flying j for a long long time.

This Flying J is a good store with good service, my only complaint is that it's not big enough. 1st, very often there are trucks lined up to get fuel, so not enough fuel islands, also these trucks end up lining up throughout the whole parking lot so the parking lot is not big enough either. Lastly, there are only 4 showers, it's time that this place begin to think about expanding and updating some of their services.

I seem to gravitate towards this brand of gas station while doing road trips into America down the I 15 on my way to Las Vegas the J is the J in my name so I like that but overall what a great organization they have everything always clean always helpful tons of selection big parking lots with lots of space I love the logic and design of this company‘s brand they really know what they’re doing and it is my go to gas station like I said every single time I travel

I always stop at this place on my way into chilliwack, they have a big selection of coffee, knick knacks, hot food and some of the best pizza I've ever had! If you're on the road and need a shower they're very nice and clean, I have stayed there both trucking and as a tourist. Great place to stop!

Seriously this place is super good. Liked it beyond belief. I walked in and felt as if in Vancouver city for a min.. Clean, bright & organized. Any item you might possibly need from A to Z. Washrooms with child stations, showers & laundry services. Even hand scrub & Safety gear. Deli style hot food under heat lamps. Sit-in food lounge area. ATM machine. Cannot ask for anything else. Ya something really shady is going on with the bank machine at this gas station I took out $20 last night and agreed to pay the $3.50 they charge to use the bank machine but after getting home I check my balance and this store actually took $5.50 in fees I wonder how long they have been stealing from thier customers?

Its been ages now since all the fuel lanes had worked. Month ago it was down to one lane. After a month again Down to one fueling lane only. There are two other lanes partially working that is just filling up driver side with no DEF on those . Waste of time now a days

My EFS card got deleted at company's end i was having hard time to reach customer service for EFS to get it reinstated which was giving me little hard time. CAROL the store manager observed what i was doing offered me free coffee/hot chocolate just me make me feel comfortable.Its not a matter of money or free coffee ,its the matter of her going over her job duties just to make the experience count. Showers are dirty always, even after cleaning. They only give one towel and no face cloth or floor towel. In addition, the bathrooms are disgusting and seldom wiped down apparently. I'd avoid this place unless absolutely necessary.

Staff are friendly enough. Decent parking, close to a couple of places to eat. Only thing is the DEF never works. I honestly believe it's left off to force drivers to buy bottles instead of at the pump. More expensive bottles=more money in the owner's pocket. Hope I'm wrong, but even on clear, warm days they give the same, tired claim....it's frozen....in above zero temps.

One of the ONLY Flying J in ALL of Ontario where the cashier was not wearing a mask and apparently couldn't careless if the customers were either! Why do you have signs when you don't have the employees wear masks, at least not today's cashier also allowing healthy strapping young men in with their face exposed! Yet other Ontario location is pretty much 100% compliance! Hope you enjoy the grave! Ignorant!

This is the only Flying J north of Toronto / Mississauga on Hwy 11 south of Nipigon/ Shuniah. The store is on the smaller size, but they do stock most of the essentials for the road. A&W burger joint next door if you prefer something other than what they have, mostly a small selection of burgers and pizzas. Good selection of coffee, just as you would expect from flying J. It's always a little chilly out here, and in winters the parking usually gets slippery. Almost everyone here speaks French and English, in case you would like to brush up your french.

The Flying J Travel Centre truck fuel pumps (card lock) are separate from the Shell Service Station pumps and the Denny's restaurant building. All these businesses are all on the same property. During our pit stop, the Shell station snack store operator was very pleasant and wished us safe travels. Thanks and we'll stop back again .....

Just tried to get fuel, pumps would not except any payment cards debit or credit, went inside to ask to open pump and asked to open up the pump. Attendant asked how much did I want to pay I told him I want to fill up truck and slip tank ! Again he asked how much and I told him I didn't know I just want to fill it up. He again asked he needs to know how much before I can let pay. After walking to and from and waiting in que I decided to just use the petro next door which just happened to be cheaper also. Sort it out flying j were in the year 2021 damn it !!!

The only issue is the very small parking lot. No more than 15-20 spots. Other than that, the staff is very good and deli items are available 24 hours. Always clean. Nice place.

Let me tell me my story. So, I watched the show “Highway Thru Hell” and outside I saw one of the wreckers that was on the show. Anyways, me and my brother went inside and got some snacks. When we go to check out, the man in front of us finishes paying and the cashier says, “Thanks Jamie” (Jamie is the owner of the towing company that the show is about). So we pay and walk out still bewildered by that encounter.

This is the worst flying j when it comes to fuel pumps, out of 5 pumps only 1 is working and for working pump key pad is not working for weeks rest are out of service for months management doesn't care and not planning to fix it by the looks of it. When it rain or snow melt fuel bays are filled with stopped dirty water. Only 4 showers mostly big lines up and actual shower place is too small. Staff is welcoming but actual truck stop is not Over all a place not to stop.

I phone and called ahead of time for a pizza as I work close and didn’t have lunch for the day, I start my day at 6 am and by lunch time I get very hungry so I called ahead of time to make sure there’s a pizza for me. I drove over and walked in during my short 30 min lunch break and was told that “they forgot” and nothing they could do for me unless I wanted to wait. (My break would of been over if I waited) I’m pretty disappointed I won’t be getting to eat today nor do I plan on stopping at the flying j again.

Come here often. The staff have always been friendly, the washrooms and store clean. If you're a car driver going down the highway this is a good place to stop fuel up and get some snacks. I took 2 stars off because it's not a great place for a truck driver to stop. There's to few fuel pumps for the volume of business this place does, there's nearly always a wait. Also the parking situation is awkward, meaning trying to back into a spot is a dance between trucks fueling and trucks trying to park. Probably making the back lot worse since I suspect a lot of truckers wanting only a coffee choose to pull into a fuel island. It's been like this since before it was a flying J, so it's not their fault, but it's a problem that does exist so you should be aware.

Pleasant and friendly staff, clean location, but closer to a low end convenience store than a truckstop. No sit down restaurant, limited selection of bland heat lamped food, negligible seating area, restrooms were clean and well kept, but few in the way of stalls and sinks. They did well with what they have, but what they have was far less than what I expect at a Flying J.

I've been here twice in the past month... Both times there were problems starting the diesel pumps from the card reader, and had to start from the fuel desk. This time, I was charged for fuel I didn't pump. Fuel might b slightly cheaper than the new "J" in Balgonie, but THEIR card readers work.

This place has gone down hill in the past 6 months it’s really terrible now! the managers need to be replaced with people who actually know what they’re doing and actually care about the business they are running.... the longest waits for showers and not even cleaned properly. They should not be getting any stars at all. The worst and most confusing gas station in Canada, I drove by from out of town and decided to stop for a gas , it was very confusing which hose is gas and which one diesel. I have never had owed a diesel vehicles and never put the wrong fuel in my cars but I did it at this gas station. So confusing ,I even could not see a diesel sign . DO some upgrades on your gas station ,those pumps are terrible. I ended up paying 400$ in repairs and lost over 4 hours of my time. And also for the volume of people going through, you need more than two bathrooms. Avoid stopping at this location if you can.

I am an ex employee of the Hope flying J's. The whole time we were short staffed in every department. I asked for help for almost a year to no avail. I complained about cleanliness constantly. The cutting boards were never cleaned. The perforated pizza pans were reused without washing them. There is no dishwasher. Everything is washed by hand and never got cleaned properly. This place is a seriously toxic environment. They force everyone against each other. I would never recommend anyone to work there. People should stop supporting this business.

Pulled in to take a leak on a long journey home and saw the food in the warmer. Got the vibe this was something special. I got the pizza Slice and wings deal for $7. It was delicious pizza! I couldn't believe how amazing it was. If I hadn't ate the wings first driving away I would have went back for another Slice of that great pizza. The cashier also provided excellent customer service. Very good place to stop for a delicious snack.
