What a great adventure to Princess Louisa Inlet and Chatterbox Falls. The weather was overcast and clouds were low in the mountains, but yet the beauty of the inlet shone. Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park was well cared for and easy to navigate with ample photo opportunities for lasting memories. Our guide was friendly, and approachable. Truly an unforgettable experience, and one I would highly recommend to visitors and locals alike.

Epic Customer Service Fail from Sunshine Coast Tours. Ya don't return my first phone call from last month. Then I phone again leave a message. They call back employee says it's the bosses fault and told it is all confirmed. Confirmation email is going to be sent right away. See no emails for a 24-36 hours and send an additional email regarding confirmation. Get an email from boss saying you must having been talking with so and so and were all booked. He tried to get a hold of you. (Really? You did have my home, email, cell etc… ) If you don't hear from us in a couple of days just phone again with the date you choose. SERIOUSLY NOT INTERESTED AT THIS POINT!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. The guide was warm and well-informed. We left promptly and kept to schedule but the tour had the flexibility to let us stay and watch wildlife as long as we wanted. We spotted seals and porpoises as well as several bird species on our trip. The scenery was outstanding, the information about the trip and conditions was accurate. As an older woman, I very much appreciated helpful touches like providing a step to help get on the boat. I felt obliged to write this review because panning the tour on the basis of a booking glitch as the prior reviewer did seems unfair. It is probably wise to confirm by phone. The website didn't work right for me either. But everything else was super. A highlight of our week on the Sunshine Coast.

We can’t say enough about this business. They went above and beyond to give us a wonderful experience. I had some challenges booking online and Bryce solved all the problems. His assistant who dealt with me on the phone was very understanding. The trip was informative, beautiful, safe and inspiring. Bryce knows lots about the area and apparently the other captain is also knowledgeable. He made sure we were all comfortable and we had an hour and a half at Chatterbox Falls. The return trip is an hour and a half with an opportunity to see the sites again as you speed past them. An awesome adventure for anyone. Parking at the marina is $5. (During Covid there are only 8 passengers, 4 of us on deck and 4 inside, Bryce wore a mask. If you’re immune compromised I would wait until Covid is over or ask for a special charter)

We went to Princess Louisa Inlet/fjord today with Sunshine Coast Tours, it felt like being at the end of the world. 2,100m high, 300m deep, so many waterfalls we stopped counting them (there are supposed to be 60). It was one of the best days we spent on the Sunshine Coast in spite of the rain. The Chatterbox Falls area was like being in the enchanted forest, we didn't want to leave this place and had ample time to explore on shore. We had no problems with our bookings and the boat trip was super pleasant, Bryce is a mine of information, a memorable day really, thank you.

Great boat tour, we got really lucky because we were the only two clients on a Tuesday, so it was a private tour. We saw orcas on our way to Princess Louisa inlet and saw them again on our way back. Our guide stopped the boat, so we could take pictures. We also saw lots of seals and eagles. The tour was really interesting, with few stops on the way to the inlet. Even if the weather was not really sunny, it was beautiful. The stop at the falls was long enough to eat your own picnic, take pictures and walk around the small trail. I would definitely recommand to anyone. Note: we had to pay the 5$ parking pass, they told us it was not included in the tour.

The views of the princess Louisa Inlet were breathtaking. Our guide, however, was condescending and dismissive. He wouldn’t answer the simplest of questions and huffed and puffed when asked. Really baffling and frustrating. I’d recommend taking the other tour company and just soaking in the sights without the weird friction with the guide.

Fantastic value and great trip covering the local history from George Vancouver to present day up North America's deepest inlet. Jim was a great boat captain and guide - highly recommemd staying at the Backeddy Resort and when combined with boat tour, pricing is even better! Well done and very professional.

We really enjoyed our Princess Louisa Tour. There were 9 of us on the tour and the guide was informative, the boat was comfortable (dry & warm, despite the cloudy day) and the views were really outstanding. I was so impressed by Chatterbox Falls, the steep cliffs, and amazing scenery that we saw on this tour. We took my older father and he was able to maneuver in and out of the boat, and walk to the falls without difficulty. We had lots of time to explore, eat lunch and take pictures. It was a very nice memory for us.

My wife and I booked the Princess Louisa Inlet tour with Sunshine Coast Tours in May 2017. This was our first time taking a tour in the area. Due to some miscommunication and language, on the scheduled date and time we boarded the wrong boat. We did not know that there is another tour operator in the area. The other tour operator apologized for the mistake and refund us 50% of the cost. They are true professional in this hospitality and service industry, even we did partake their tour in full. On the other way, Sunshine Coast Tours, even after a series of email communications and reasoning, refused to refund us the unused tour cost. Not even the 50% we begged from them. This is not a small money for us. They simply said: “This leaves you carrying some of the negative result of miscommunication but it seems only fair since you are the only common denominator in the chain”. The common denominator which I should read: victim. Well-done Sunshine Coast Tours!

If you booked a tour pre-COVID-19 and cannot travel, don’t expect a refund! It was made very clear to me on the phone that they were not prepared to issue a refund based on our inability to travel during this pandemic. We have had to cancel all of our BC vacation plans and ALL of our hosts have been very understanding and have had no problem refunding us despite their previous no refund policy. One company gave us a full refund and waived their 10% cancellation fee. I was aware of their no refund cancellation policy, but I was not expecting to cancel. Then COVID came along. Surely exceptions can be made for a pandemic? Every other host is making exceptions due to the pandemic! Full refunds and waiver of cancellation fees from them. I feel we are doing the right thing in respecting the BC government’s request to stay in our own province this year for our vacation. Also, the person I’m travelling with is high-risk, so there’s that... I do not recommend this company. Totally unprofessional - there refusal to refund during the pandemic is a complete money grab in my humble opinion.

We took this tour in early August. The scenery is gorgeous but what really brought it to life was our guide’s knowledge of the area, the history, geography, and so much more. If your looking for an informative tour in a beautiful part of the world I would highly recommend Sunshine. Just remember to bring a lunch!

Great tour of the Princess Louisa inlet cruise. Spectacular scenery and a very knowledgeable guide in explaining the history of the region. Washroom facility on the boat would be an added bonus (lol). Tip request by the guide was not necessary!!

My wife and I went on the Princess Louisa tour in June it was a fantastic day our guide Bryan was very informative and welcoming and the boat was very comfortable.The Chatterbox Falls were in fall flight and we had plenty of time to enjoy our packed lunch and the beautiful senery.We would highly recommend this day trip.Well done to the team at sunshine coast tours.

My partner and I had an absolute blast on the Chatterbox Falls tour! Our captain Jim was incredibly knowledgable and informative. I don't think I've ever seen so many waterfalls in one day and we enjoyed our swim out at the park. We will definitely be back for another tour in the future!
