I've travelled for years and I have mostly used the Flight Centre. I find cheap flights online through various sites then I ask the travel agent to book it for me. When you book with a travel agent there are some assurances you can't get booking on your own. If I'm stuck in a city having had a flight cancelled, my travel agent can book another flight for me and get me out of my mess. It's such a great partnership for travelling, not to mention they are a one-stop shop for all means of travel. I just recently called for upcoming travel and Jordan was awesome. He texted me and told me he noticed the flights I wanted had gone down in price and that I should book soon. Well I got the cheapest flight to Montreal, multi-city flying out of Ottawa than I thought possible! He looked into my train tickets too! I can't say enough. Thanks!

I received excellent service from Rachael Schilling at Flight Centre Juliet. From the moment I stepped into the office I was warmly greeted, and from there Rachael answered all my questions with a true knowledge and capability that was second to none. She is extremely well-versed in all things Mexico and took the time to understand exactly the type of holiday I was looking for. In my case, I have mobility issues and have to use a scooter. Rachael was able to answer all my questions and plan a trip for me that was perfectly suited to my needs. The trip ended up exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend Rachael and Flight Centre Juliet.

Flight center booked me in a different hotel then what I was shown while we where booking at the center . I found this out the night before traveling online while checking into our flight . We went from a 5 star to a 4 star and different location scary without being told . No one contacted me after I returned from mexico to say sorry or refund me a dime or give me a credit . First vacation in 4 years , We where so disapointed with flight centre. I will not use them or recommend them , poorly handled, zero customer service . Myself and my other half are in health care and really needed to destress very sad and disappointed that flight Center just doesn't seem to care but takes are money in a flash .

After being frustrated trying to book a long business trip to Malaysia, I took a chance (never having used a travel agency before) and emailed Flight Centre early in the morning with an outline of what I was after. Shortly after the office opened, Anna responded and we followed up minutes later via phone. She asked good questions, understood clearly what my goals were, and her experience flying similar long-haul flights helped me choose the best flights for my price range. Would definitely recommend using Flight Centre Westside Village again!

Artos is great! We booked my daughter's flights to and from her Disney internship in June, and today she's coming home. Her flight from Orlando was delayed, but he kept an eye on it, and checked out options . After a second delay put her connection in jeopardy, Artos her on another flight within minutes. All she had to do was show up at the gate (he even told her which one it was)!

Don't believe them! They advertise "LOWEST AIRFARE GUARANTEE" but they refused to match a price I brought to them from another website! I called the airline's direct Canadian number to get the lowest price! Seems they just didn't want to match it or have me as a paying customer...too much effort. Not good customer service - especially when you go against your advertising!

After requesting a price on a specific hotel, I was given the wrong information and unable to book. Then was given "options" that had absolutely nothing on my "wishlist". When I found the correct info myself, I was able to book at the original hotel requested, and paid the fee via my visa debit. I received a confirmation, from flight centre, telling me my payment was accepted, so I got on with my weekend! Briana did not call me to tell me the payment had not gone through, rather sent an email which I was not expecting and didn't follow up with a phone call. She had absolutely NO professionalism, and by the time she felt like dealing with this problem, the vacation was no longer available. She gave me no options to secure the booking. When I confronted her about this, she deflected and took absolutely no responsibility. She blamed me. Super unprofessional! Don't book with these amateurs. Go to a professional! Wrong info given should have tipped me off in the start, that I will be accountable for. Now I'm paying over $1000 more than I was originally quoted, thanks a lot Briana! I'll never try to book with flight centre again. Stick to your professional agents!

never again!!! if there's a zero star I will!!! 1st of all they told me I have 48 hours to cancel the flight w/out worries or penalty! when I came back another day to cancel it not even 24hr they told me oh you can't cancel it blah blah!!! and you will get penalty!!! I told them you said 48 hr no worries or penalty, they reply Im sorry but thats the policy. P.S I want to cancel that time cuz I realize we have to get a U.S visa for transit! we tell them the hustle of travel but they don't listen! even to change the path they dont want! so now Im waiting for the apointment for the visa!!! now I have another problem! Due to medical condition, my family doctor told me it's not safe for me to travel! I call them back, 1st I call directly to the airline they told me they have to cut $300 each ticket! I have 5 ticket so it means $1500 for waste! so I agree, but the thing is they told me the agency who book your flight should do the cancelation. so i call the flight center again... you know what they say they need $200 each ticket to cancel it!!! means $500 each ticket! wow $2500 waste... I cancel tge flight for medical condition! but they dont listen! they say they can only wave some fees if someone die!!! never again!!! worst experience!!!

I want to give a shout out to Christian Dean, my Flight Centre savior. I was unfortunate to book a family holiday during Spring Break of 2020. We made the right decision two days before the flight to stay home, Covid-19 rumours and news was just starting to heat up and recommendations for holidays were to cancel flights. I knew that I may lose a large sum of money. A month later, I reached out to Flight Centre I got connected to Christian. He was professional, helpful and very responsive. He called the flights and hotels and was able to get a significant amount of my money back. When Transat Air got the goverment support I reached out again to recover my flight credits...in no time he responded and again was able to help. Christian was great for me and Flight Centre is lucky to have employees like him.

Absolutely AWFUL. I booked with agent Loredda,due to disability needs - as I cannot do this Expedia. Explained I was travelling through Scotland alone. I firstly asked for tours to be set up. Never done even after I called & emailed. Facebook members assisted me! they were awesome! No wheelchair assistance on my boarding passes so issue at Pearson right away as I cannot lift luggage and had to ssk other travellers for help. Embarassing when you look fine! On return flight I was refused boarding due to no Wheelchair assistance on my boarding pass!! I had to get manager who knew me to act. I called 2 days prior to my trip to get my eTicket sent to me because obviously they werent going to do it!!! Grrr blood boils at the thoughtlessness of this franchise agent. I have travelled before and NEVER EVER have I had such TERRIBLE service. No apologies either from Danielle just "It wasn't me who booked you". Just worried about herself not the customer. As fir Loredda, once my credit card was taken I never heard from her ever again. BE WARNED.

Usually we go into the flight centre location in our mall and deal with someone in person. I decided to utilize their website this time and put in my inquiry. My inquiry was answered by Nigel Befus from this office in BC. Nigel was extremely helpful in helping me plan my honeymoon. He answered every question I had with confidence and prompt replies. We emailed back and forth for about a weeks time going over what kind of package I was looking for and what kind of pricing options. He was knowledgeable about the services flight centre offers and well as the hotel I was inquiring about. I would definitely recommend flight centre in the future as well as Nigel. I know any other trips I plan in the future I will be contacting him for assistance for sure.

The manager, Matt, should be called the con-in-chief!! They are downright thieves that charge you a different amount than the amount on the booking confirmation they give you (I keep all my receipts, and on this occasion, I was fortunate to notice the discrepancy). I made the mistake of trusting them to do the right thing, just for me to discover a few days later, while on my trip, that I had been robbed of about $50+ i.e I was charged a very inflated price than the true price of the ticket they printed-out for me on the booking confirmation. I just want to advice any customer that is unsure, that they should stay away and find an alternative option than to settle for this substandard business ran by a very unprofessional manager and a con artist. Might interest you to know I was attended to by the manager, hence, he did the dirty job and should be named, the con-in-chief. Once I get back they are going to be hearing from an extremely upset customer.

What a great experience dealing with the Staff at the Flight Centre Westside Village. Anna Crosby was awesome. I was trying to plan the perfect vacation for my family and I know that i had "hundreds of questions and requests". Anna dealt with all of them in a very professional and friendly manner. The vacation she planned for my family at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya was out standing. The family had an awesome time and we are already planning on doing another trip to a different Hard Rock Hotel. As per the airline policy this could not be changed and I was supposed to purchase new tickets. If it weren’t for Jt I’m positive this wouldn’t have been resolved easily. We recently took a trip to Puerto Vallarta through the Flight Centre. This was my first time using a travel agent, and Courtney was AMAZING! I was feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to book something, as there were so many options and I didn't know what the best spots were, especially since we brought our two young kids. I gave Courtney my parameters and she gave me some great options to choose from - so easy! And the icing on the cake was when there were mechanical issues with our plane to get down there - it was looking like we would miss 1/3 of our holiday, but Courtney literally spent a whole Sunday trying to get next-day flights for us (which she did!), and also jumped through a few hoops to get a day added to the end of our trip so that we didn't have to shorten it. I am so grateful to her for saving our trip, which we would not have been able to do on our own given the answers we were getting from the airline. I HIGHLY recommend Courtney/Flight Centre, and will certainly be going through her for future holiday planning!!

I even changed the number of days that we would be staying on the day I was suppose to book the trip and he stayed late at work to help me make the final changes. I do not travel often and was not used to having a travel agent and had been told by some people that I can plan the trip myself to make It cheaper for me and I did speak about that to Matthew. Dishonest travel agents. I’ll never use them again. My wife and I went last week to book an all inclusive trip. Instead of booking online to save a bit of $$ we thought it would be best to use a travel agent to get proper guidance and advice . The agent named Maria went through some options with us and we discussed the possibility of a hard rock hotel in Mexico. She mentioned that they know have unlimited all inclusive for Spas and excursions there . She said we would only need to worry about tipping which we are ok with. Tips are vulintary and at the discretion of the customer . 10-15% being the norm. A few days later I was on the hard rock hotel site and noticed it stated a 25% service fee on all spas and excursions.... we call the agent to inquire about this and she tries to play it off like it’s not a big deal. Now given we were under the impression everything was included we asked the travel agent to book us a couples massage each of the 7 days we will be spending there. She sends us a confirmation with massages booked and a cost of $757 U.S which is over $1,000 CDN. I of course contacted her and asked her to cancel all that nonsense as we’re not paying $1,000 for massages. Not reasonable or realistic. We tried contacting customer service to explain our issue and they came back saying the agent told us about the service fee and that there’s nothing they can do about it. It’s quite clear the agent didn’t fully disclose important details which ultimately impacted our decision on which resort to stay at. Very disappointed in the way this company deals with customers. I highly recommend not to use the services here as there is a lot of deceipt and nobody wants to take responsibility. Please Don’t send me a message saying “ we will contact you to further assist you” unless you plan on actually taking some action and offering some form of compensation” . It’s companies like you that give travel agents a bad name. Next trip will be booking Online as travel agents seem to only care about being paid commission. We’ve learned our lesson... terrible terrible service!

On my most recent visit, the agent found an affordable flight, at my preferred travel time, that I did not find on the Web. For me, proof that the human element exceeds the digital element.

My husband and I went here to plan our honeymoon. Our agent was Maria Spitman. She was absolutely fantastic. We told her where we wanted to go and what we really wanted to do. And she planned the entire thing for us, hotels/villas, transfers, excursions! It made things so easy for us as we were still planning our wedding at the time. Even when our layover in China (our trip was planned for February, so right before COVID spread worldwide) was cancelled. I came to Artos Low with a vague plan in my burnt-out Dad-mind: I want to go here and here, neither of which are connected, and I want to do it easily and as simply as possible. Oh, and with the bare minimum of connections so I wouldn’t lose a child mid-way on the trip. To complicate things further, all plans had to be OK’ed by my wife, so we’ll play a game of “telephone” along the way because you can never get both of us on the phone at the same time. Artos, quite simply, blew my mind. He came up with a trip plan quickly, then every time I moved the goal posts, he instantly found more options for us. After an untold number of back & forths, Artos came up with a plan that was spectacular. It hit all the parameters we wanted, was a great price, and we booked instantly. I never appreciated the wealth of knowledge and patience that a travel agent must have, and Artos has both in excess. He knows the beaches, the companies, the hotels, everything. And then can withstand multiple elementary questions and nudge you gently back in the right direction. I don’t know why I waited so long to use a travel agent. Why am I spending time looking at 17 different travel sites, when Artos has it all at his finger tips, and does all the work for me? Having a travel plan presented to you is so much easier than getting lost in Google. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Booked with these guys for a bachelor party with requirement for 2 beds. arrived to only have 1 bed in our rooms. Booked 6 months in advance and was told at the hotel this is all that they had for us since our package was booked last minute. we also did not receive e documents until half a day before. Others in the group booked direct with westjet vacations 2 months after we did for the same price and received 2 beds in their room and had their documents far in advance of travel. Obviously flight centre waits to book at the lowest rate so they make their money. After contacting them from mexico they did not get us a different room. Will no be booking with flight centre again.

JT Lipsett was awesome to work with! I booked a trip to South Africa through JT and Flight Centre. The price was great (better than others who quoted similar trip) but what made the experience great was knowing JT was taking care of everything. We had a very positive experience dealing with Nigel at this location. Nigel very patiently helped my wife and I as we picked a honeymoon destination and made some recommendations on locations and mult-location trips that we ultimately went ahead with and really added to our vacation. He was able to price match after we found one of the hotels cheaper by booking direct with them. He responded to emails on his day off and outside of office hours and it felt like he was taking personal responsibility to make sure the trip was a success. We ended up with a delay on our day of departure and Nigel offered help and assistance dealing with airlines and hotels and offers to help with any information to support an insurance claim which I felt was going above and beyond. We will definitely use this location and Nigel again for future vacation plans.

In January, 2020 booked a trip to Italy for July 6, 2020. I paid a small deposit. Obviously cannot go now. Have heard NOT. ONE. WORD. from the agent I booked with. She told me she would be contacting me on May 22 regarding the payment of the balance of my trip. I heard nothing, zero, zilch. I anticipated at least a 'So sorry your trip cannot happen' and related discussion about the disposition of my deposit. Thankfully, I prepared myself for the loss of the deposit. It doesn't change the fact that I consider this poor - scratch that - NON-EXISTENT customer service. I emailed Flight Centre to tell them how disappointed I was at the lack of communication and heard nothing back from them either. I'm glad I found out about the poor customer service before dropping the entire $4,000 because now when I'm ready to book I can go with someone who cares about their customers.

If that wasn’t enough, what does other routing through Raratonga, Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, and Hawaii look like with so many code shares and time zones? Mathew diligently researched everything and collaboratively worked with me to complete an affordable and common sense itinerary. Any journey has small glitches but I am happy to recommend Matthew for any complex international travel itinerary. I travel frequently and do my research online to find the best times and rates for vacations, but still like to use Flight Centre when I am finally ready to book. Speaking with someone directly and picking up printed documents was a nice touch. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. Everything can be done online. I asked for some prices on a flight to Vegas from Toronto to see if they could price match around $540.00. They were able to find one for $532.00 which I agreed to but when my bill came, a charge of $19+tax (Captain's Package) was added. I asked for this to be waived as I didn't require it, but was informed that this is mandatory. Apparently this is something new they have implemented? A deal on the flight ended up costing more than what I found on my own! I found the same flights for $485 using SkyScanner from the Air Canada website to compare, but was told these were for a basic economy ticket and she recommended a standard economy. I took this as a learning experience and in future, will book any flight only or all-inclusive trips myself as I see no real benefit going through an agent. Even if they were to price match, they would have to beat it by $20 (Captain's Package charge) just to stay competitive.
