My 50th bday celebration was supposed to be a girls road trip to Nashville. When we realized that was not going to happen due to the COVID pandemic, my sister reached out to Spicy Jan from Tasty Road Trips. Within a day or two Jan put together the most amazing 4 days for us which surpassed anything we could have imagined. The activities included turbo tubing on the Grand, a guided Paris food walking tour, a five course birthday meal prepared in our Airbnb including two absolutely decadent birthday cakes, jewellery making, both a necklace with the encouragement of kimclarkfineart.com and a crystal bracelet with the guidance of Natlalie at Wabi Sabi Crystals and more. We met and interacted with some amazing people, mostly female entrepreneurs, who make their living in and around Paris Ontario. Our Airbnb was excellent, and in a perfect location. We could walk to downtown Paris within 10-15 minutes. I did not miss Nashville in the least and I am proud that we supported the Canadian economy because everything we ate and participated in was sourced locally. Truly outstanding and I can't wait to see what Jan will plan for us next. Highly recommend!

I've just returned from a trip of a lifetime thanks to Jan at Tasty Road Trips Food Tours. Our international food and drink tour to Club Ambar Punta Cana Dominican Republic was one I'll never forget. From my ultra fabulous roommate, the culinary delights at all of the a la carte restaurants and buffets to the molecular cocktails that were so unique, this trip was an experience! (that I will be sure to repeat). Jan pulled out all the stops in the organization of this trip from Day 1 through Day 7 and offered us unique private experiences such as a wine tasting with the sommelier and molecular cocktails by master mixologists at Limbo! Our times at the pool and the beach as well as at our own swim up pools will be long remembered. This was an AMAZING culinary and experience laden vacation with the added bonus of meeting and befriending a group of incredible ladies. Thank you, Jan, you are incredible at what you do! I will be back for more of these grand adventures!

We had the most amazing tour with Jan, who went out of her way to make the tour a special treat for my Dad's 81st birthday. He was treated like a king! We were a diverse group from 14-81yrs and there was something to capture everyone's interest at each stop. We felt like part of the Paris community as we were welcomed into each location with stories and tastes from each vendor with so many laughs along the way. I can't recommend the tour enough and can't wait to try another one in the summer!

Two weeks ago my husband and I did a self guided food tour in Paris with Tasty Road Trips. It was a great way to do a food tour during Covid. Although we did the tour on our own, we still had a chance to chat with the two other couples doing the self guided tour that same day and had a lovely chat with Jan at our final stop. We were warmly greeted by all vendors and had tasty food at every stop. Thank you Jan for finding a way to make the tour work during Covid. We had a great day!

So glad I found Spicy Jan's tour when we visited Paris! The self-guided tour was thoughtfully laid out with interesting stops at locally owned businesses. This allows you to really interact with the owners of shops & restaurants! It was our anniversary and we were happily surprised that several shop/restaurant owners knew and greeted us (some with little gifts!). The experience, and more importantly, the food was incredible! We were so full that we ended up cancelling dinner reservations LOL. Highly recommend and make sure to let Jan know if you have any special occasion as she will definitely customize your tour. For more than five years, I planned to take my sister, who has Cerebral Palsy, to Paris, France. This was her one big travel wish and we were going to make it happen for her 40th Birthday! Then COVID hit and our plans had to change. I had followed Tasty Road Trips on Instagram for awhile and when I started to plan some alternatives celebratory ideas for my sister, I thought, we can still go to "Paris" in our own province. So that's when I reached out to Spicy Jan at Tasty Road Trips and started to plan. We chose the One Bite at a Time Tour! (self-guided) version and Spicy Jan took extra care of us to ensure every stop we had was accessible in one way or another! We were also lucky to have Spicy Jan join us for the tour to ensure that every detail went off without a hitch! The detail and love for community that goes into Tasty Road Trips tours was evident at every stop we went to and every business owner we talked to. With the option of individual add-ons, like the decadent Special Occasion Sweet Sampler, wine and cheese tasting or the Make & Take option, there is something for everyone! Our time with Tasty Road Trips was safe (COVID), memorable and left a lasting impression on the five of us. My sister had the best birthday and although in a wheelchair, she was and felt included in every part of the tour. If you haven't given Tasty Road Trips a try - do it, you won't regret it!

Have done a couple of walking tours in Paris and they were great. The tasty treats, the history, meeting those that own the businesses equals a great experience. Then there was an opportunity to experience a food tour in Punta Cana and I decided to do it. Nine women met at the Toronto airport and wow what an experience we had. Great food, drinks and experiences (wine tasting, chocolate making to name a couple). There was also time for us to relax and get to know each other. The trip was amazing and I can't wait for the next experience with Tasty Road Trips Food Tours. Our tour included food and drink and connections with people who were small business owners and the best places to take photos. It was our first visit to Paris and a great way to orient ourselves. A very special thank you to Jan for planning a great 50th birthday celebration! We spent 4 days of endless activities in Paris, all custom curated by Tasty Road Trips. All we had to do was show up. We loved all the eating, walking and tubing. The special birthday dinner in our beautiful airbnb prepared by Chef Juelz was spectacular! She created a theme and a chef's table experience including a magnificent cake. It was also great to meet all the local entrepreneurs during our "Toast to Paris" tour. We will have to come back to shop and eat again in the future! We were also impressed by Chef Andrea and her team at Junipers Fine Dining for all the outstanding food they created for us! The fun day of tubing at Grand River Rafting was organized and something everyone needs to try! The wearable art we created at our airbnb with artist Kim Clark was very unique and gave us a special keepsake to remember our trip to Paris. Tasty Road Trips was beyond what I had expected and I was excited before the tour! Professional, respectful (felt 100% safe), knowledgeable, friendly, interesting.... the list goes on and on! I have lived very close to Paris for my whole life and I never took the time to enjoy the beauty of the town of Paris! When we did the tour I learned so much about local families/companies. I have already started my Christmas shopping and plan to give Tasty Road Trips as gifts as well! All ages would LOVE the tour, we had the pleasure of having a Birthday Girl also doing the tour with us and they were so much fun. Definitely highly recommend you take a tour! We did a self-guided tour for my birthday and had an incredible time! Everything was organized and planned out for us, all we needed to do was show up at each of the businesses. Lots of time to explore and check out the shops and town of Paris. I am new to the area so it was perfect to see a tone of places at once. We booked a 3 person self guided tour in Paris for our daughter's 26th birthday. At every stop we were greeted by the owner who wished our daughter a happy birthday. The tour was fun, fabulous and well timed for us to enjoy ourselves, see sights and take lots of photos. At our final stop we met Spicy Jan in person and she was fun to talk with and she made sure we we very satisfied! Which we were! I would recommend this tour any time!!! We had a blast!!

Everyone was nice and friendly and we were treated like VIPs ???? Thanks to everyone who made the day awesome and special???? Lots of hidden gems and experience of the neighbourhood. We were treated to samples, treats, information and discovery of new things. Perfect to try some of everything and part of the tour: gourmet grilled cheese, specialty croissant (made specifically for the tour), baked goods (we got cookie sandwiches), unique poutine (we had wasabi steak poutine) and blueberry macaroons, soap samples, free takeaway from the gallery and the crystal store. There were also other interesting stores along the route and we did visit some of them. Many places you wouldn't think to visit while passing through Paris Ontario

Just wanted to say how much we loved the tour on Saturday. We had a fabulous time. Paris Beer - loved the beer and food here and we also loved the set up of the location. The staff were so informative/helpful/friendly - definitely going back here! I came home with a t-shirt and beer to go. Wincey Market - great vendors. We bought various items, including perogies that I look forward to having later this week. Bohemian Gallery - wow, what a fabulous place (loved her champagne, would have loved to take a bottle lol). What an exhibit of very talented artists! We picked up a couple of pieces of art to remember the occasion Witches & Pies Bakery - The ice cream was delicious. Our feedback is that we would have enjoyed mini ice cream sandwiches so much more. It would be great if the ice cream was in a cup and mini cookies were served with it or make a mini cookie ice cream sandwich. They were just soooo big. Bonnieheath Lavender Estate - beautiful place. This was so quiet and serene. We felt like we were the only ones there and really enjoyed relaxing with wine here. We could have stayed longer and had another glass lol. Barntique - great place. I picked up a lovely necklace. Great picture opportunities here. We had fish and chips in Port Dover sitting outside at the water. The patio was cool and windy but we still enjoyed it very much. The Night Market was also lovely. Overall a really fabulous get away.

Our tasty road trip tour was amazing!! Starting with Kat at the Paris Bohemian Gallery and her great energy and fabulous shop. All the excellent food stops…. Paris Beer Co.: great tasting flight and delicious appetizers, friendly people Juniper Dining Co.: great to meet Chef Andrea and enjoyed her delicious food and wine Wicked Wiches & Pies: Pam was very welcoming and we had the best ice cream sandwiches ever! Scratch-made! Original Kettlecorn in the Paris Wincey Mills - Brenda had a treat for us there! We visited many other shops along the Main Street and took some great photos on the bridge over the Grand River. We met Spicy Jan near the end of our tour at the Juniper restaurant and what a pleasure! So passionate about eat local and supporting local business. We planned this as a 50th birthday celebration and it was truly the highlight of the weekend! Thank you to Spicy Jan and her Tasty Road Trips team. We would definitely do this again and we would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Paris!
