So my family was traveling in Pakistan and the airline had changed the flight timings. The airline called FJ travels and informed them of this time change, FJ travels knew that we only had phone access and no way of checking the net before the flight departure. FJ travels didn't call us and thus we missed the flight. We spoke to the airline but they said they spoke to FJ and it was their responsibility to call us.... Anyways we tried to at least get an apology but instead these dummies just ignored us. I had to purchase replacement tickets at inflated prices in cash to bring my family home to Canada. The owner Javed wouldn't accept my credit card cause he knew if I made a claim he may lose the money... Sometimes I just end up scratching my head thinking how these places stay in business. Please travel with anyone else, these guys are completely unprofessional. Taking advantage of fellow countrymen...

Just recently back from umrah and side Pakistan visit. I got this package at good price excellent tour manager Hafiz SanaullAh at makka & madinah, Sanaullah is nice person although had only watsup & phonic conversation but he is very humble and helping tour operator. My suggestion to Hafiz sahib is to let his taxi driver be informed about cultural setup of visitors from north america to behave accordingly. Regarding FJ travels team, I will say pay for your needs and demands. We had excellent package with Pakistan visit, purchased business class ,5 star hotels and all tour was really well managed in Saudi Arabia. We need to be humble and clear straight forward with FJ team and tell them your concerns very clearly and need to remind....plan your visit well at home then talk to FJ Travels. Khalid & Family

Hafiz Sanaullah & his crew took care of our transportation in Makkah and Madinah very well and gave us detailed Ziarat. I went for Hajj with FJ Travels in 2019. It was apparently their first time organizing Hajj and it clearly showed. What I found most disappointing is their unwillingness to take responsibility (always deflecting any issue as being out of their control), and that they weren't open to any feedback or constructive criticism (which is evident in how they reply to any negative review). The language/tone that they reply to reviews is a reflection of how they deal with Hajjis/Guests. I've attached the itinerary they sent us a couple of days before we left Canada (we didn't have any itinerary until then) - You'll see that they didn't bother even verifying that the dates make sense. As for the issues we ran into during Hajj, it's well documented in other reviews but I'd be glad to elaborate if anyone is interested. The only positive was that the lead Sheikh (Sheikh Ashraf) was very knowledgeable and tried his best to mitigate the numerous issues we ran into.

Your transportation team in Hijaaze Paak (Hafiz Sanaullah and Ali Aslam) did a very good job and looked after the family very well until the end. The Ziyaraat were also enjoyable. Although, there was a slight difference in the package which was promised, but overall my family was very happy and was able to carry out all the ibaadaat in a very peaceful manner. I am shocked to see 5 star rating. The overall team Javed et al are very unprofessional except Aurangzeb. I booked a 4 star package with them which was supposed to include food as per the brochure shared. The itinerary showed only 3 star hotels without food. When I started complaining, Javed tried to play the piety card and asked me to focus on Umrah. My brother, you should be the last person to advise on religious matters. This how you make the travel miserable for "guests of Allah". On reaching Madinah, the hotel was changed to 4 start but without food. The other two people in the room were promised double sharing and yet they had to share the room with 4 people. I had to pay for the food in Madinah. In Makkah, the hotel was 3 star and very far from Haram. I had to plan my visit for the day according to the bus timings and when it is rush hour, it the last thing you would want. When talking to other people, who had booked with FJ travels, more or less everyone has issues with them, specifically what was promised was not given. As some of the reviews mention about Ziyarat, they don't stop at most of the Ziyarat. The ground staff in both Makkah and Medina were good and professional. When you try to complain to them, they said, they are helpless because it is controlled by folks in Toronto. Hopefully, I will take this matter to the authorities, so that, other people don't suffer. Adding a note for Mina Concord: Almost all the guests staying at the hotel can confirm and we confirmed with Hotel management that it is a 3 star and it is no brainer, when you see and stay in the hotel, you would rate it probably not even 1 star. It shouldn't even be rated.

Worst service I could ever have, Javeed and Noman are cheaters ,Allah is my witness, anyone had any doubts, I can send you all the email conversation I had with them, I went for umrah with my parents, and they charged me for 2 extra tickets with my credit cards, and after 2 years today I haven't received my money back yet, I would have forgiven if I had received better services in Saudia, but thy had no care, I requested them I m going with my mother on wheelchair. since I live in winnipeg, I could not go to there office, but ALLAH knows. Most of all worst services we received in Saudia, cheapest hotel. will never ever book any thing through them. best way to do it book hotels online. as I'm did this year.

I have booked seats here many times, for PIA always found staff helpful and friendly going an extra mile .This time travel agent Omer Mustafa helped and guided me through booking than rebooking with different dates to lahore for my Aunt with wheelchair assistance. Everything went well from booking to seat selection and payment. One important thing regarding PIA is even if you have confirmed premium seat with leg space you have to pay extra $75 at airport to get that as airline says for leg space seat pay at airport irrespective of your full premium class payment to the travel agent.

My parents went with FJ Travel for their umrah trip in January 2020, and everything went smoothly. The hotels were nice in both Mecca and Medina were very nice. The transportation arrangement was also very well organized. Umair was really helpful in explaining FJ Travel’s service, the prices are also fair !

Like many of you reading these reviews, I started off very skeptical and concerned going with FJ Travels. Sure, the price is very cheap, but is it worth the potential hassles down the road? Let me tell you about my Umrah experience. If this is not your first time going for Umrah/Hajj, and you basically need a travel agent to help you organize and book everything, then FJ Travels is fantastic, as long as you do your own due diligence and keep on top of the process. However, if this is your very first Umrah/Hajj experience and you really want to have a scholar accompany you and guide you for every step, then you’ll need to go with a more premium package (probably with another company). The only major issue we had was in our Makkah Hotel, where there was a problem with our booking confirmation number (someone at FJ Travels booked it, then cancelled, then booked again, and the original cancelled confirmation number was on our voucher). This caused several hours of stress, but the contact in Makkah (Hafiz Sanaullah) was with us and helped us get through the problem. Some other pieces of advice: - Pay the extra money required for a hotel in Makkah which is close to the Haram, preferably near the clock towers, especially if you plan to pray every prayer in the Haram. We paid extra to stay in the Safwa Towers and it was completely worth it. - Rawdah Royal Inn in Medina was listed as 5 stars but it was not the best experience, especially if you like your washroom to stay dry after a shower. The hotel reception staff were also quite rude. Overall: For less than $2000 CAD per person, I couldn’t have asked for a better Umrah experience, Alhamdulillah. Thank you FJ Travels for providing this low cost option.

I applied my Umra Visa with them but due to their non profesionalism it was refused. And I lost $1200 approx. I would not recommend anyone to go their. Be careful by their promises. You will find surprises from Jeddah Airport to all of your visit, if you leave everything on them. Specially for hotels in makkah and madina. I would suggest go to some professional and authorised Umrah agents.

I am giving five stars as this is what they deserve. We recently went to do umra and we had a booked hotel in makka. When we reached the hotel staff gave our room away to a large group. We were travelling with three kids for over 20 hours and the hotel didn’t care to help us. The team fj travels hired to help us in makka for drop offs was there to our rescue and they ensured we got another hotel which was close by. Due to this mishap we were also over charged due to going to another hotel but fj travels refunded our money, no questions asked. I would personally like to mention Aurangzaib, his service is excellent and he explains everything in detail. I will definitely use fj travels again as they were there to help us until the end. Went on a family trip for umrah and to Medina with 15 family members. Javed was very helpful throughout the whole process in getting us airplane seats close to each other. There was an air conditioned tour bus in Medina and Mecca offered. When we went to Medina we decided we wanted to go back to mecca for our last few days. Javed helped us arrange that. I swear to god these guys are fraud. If I'm lying I may die right now. Allah kasam never ever book any package with these guys. They are money hungry. We gave them cash/Credit card for umrah package/Pakistan. My mother paid the amount they took from credit card. Her credit card was up to date. So we went for Umrah then Pakistan and when we came back she saw her bank staement saying she owe $900. She was shocked when I looked I saw that this guy took her money without her knowing. Since we were gone for like 4 months her credit is gone to credit breau. Now we are in process of filing a complain against this place and make sure he doesn't rip other people off. AoA, Javed bahi was very helpful. He organized everything well Allhumdulliah. We had a 2 yr old baby so we were looking for hotels close to haram. Makkah hotel had an excellent shuttle service free of cost. We would encourge to tell all your special needs to FJ travel at time of booking as they are very understanding and helpful so they can keep all your needs in mind at time of hotel selection. Madina hotel was at gate of Haram which was less than 2 mins walk to haram. It was very easy to join all jamats for salah. Madina hotel and Makkah hotel both had amazing breakfast service mashAllah. All the rides and ziyrats were well organized. Javed bahi also gave us Ahrams with visa which was a very kind jesture. I would recommend Fj travels to anyone who wants to perform Ummrah. There is no option to gave NO STAR, FJ Travels don't deserve any star. Worst service, Customer follow up, because they are so busy, they don't have time to replay for customers. Always make clear the amount, otherwise you ready to pay at airport extra money. Always ask for E-ticket number. They don't gave you . Before payment or leaving their office, make sure, all your need confirmed (Number of Baggages, Special Meal, Child or INF seat) and most important your seat is confirmed or not. After payment they don't care, Boos "Javed Chaudhry" blame his staff, and his staff blame each other.

assalamualaykum WRWB. brother and sister this for those who are planing to perform hajj or ummrah through FJ travel. my humble request and advise ,please do not use FJ travel as your travel agent. they are not trusted as they promised or claim they will provide you a good service. I have recently performed my Ummrah Alhamdulillah & arrived in Toronto on 21st of February 2019.I found FJ very unprofessional in handling the crises if it take place with there clients at over seas including Issues passengers miss connection flights from one destination to another destination. they have leave passengers at there on to deal with the crises,no proper guidance for the passengers how to deal with the crises . In my situation we have group of 25to 28 passenger went for ummrah by Air Canada flight AC0056 YYZ-DXB flight arrival time was at DXB 6.55PM Sunday 10th February,unfortunately flight arrived at almost 7:40 PM approximately 45 minutes delay from the actual arrival time & our connection Saudi Airline flight SV0551DXB-JED departure time was 9:00 PM. Once the air craft arrived at the gate , it took us almost 10 to 15 minutes to exit from the AC 0056 inbound flight Toronto-Dubai airport. we have many elderly,women,children &youth passengers in our group. from arrival gate to the connection flight gate of departure ,towards which we literally rush & some of us were running to catch the connection flight SV0551 for Jeddah . by the time we get to the counter for boarding passes,the Saudi airline counter staff said flight is closed it was approximately 8:05 pm or 8:10 pm when this situation accord,I personally talk to the counter staff of Saudi airline if they can accommodate us on the next flight which was departing at 11:00PM,they said next flight is full there is no chance . since I am an ex airline employee I am aware of the rules and regulations of the airline industry.when Saudi counter staff told me that the next 11:00PM flight, which was full. then they said they can try to put us on Saudi flight which will Depart at 5:00AM,since we all were tired traveling from Toronto-Dubai ,I went back to air Canada counter staff to talk to them if they can provide us hotel facility. when I requested them for the hotel,they have refused and said Hotels are too far from the airport and no rooms are available at this time. then I requested them to provide us some food every one of us was feeling hungry , tired & stress full. then they have arranged us Snacks,Coffee and Tea . from our arrival time to Dubai from Toronto & our Dubai- Jeddah departure at 5:00 AM, we have spent more then 8:00 hours inside the terminal of the Dubai airport building in a very uncomfortable situation that night. I have personally chatted with FJ travel Agent represented in Canada through whats apps , I am sorry to say that this Individual has no clue how to handle the situation at the overseas If this types of scenario accord, where there customers faces the problems and in a need of help. we have seniors,women's,children's including youth in this ummrah trip. one of the night mare for all our group & have a very bad experience. my advice for each one of you who have plane to go for Hajj or Ummrah please make sure chose the right travel agent ,to avoid this types of situation . Always check there history ,inquire about there performance. don't be impressed from there packages, price or there attractive advertisement and there services claim. BE AWARE OF ALL THESE. May Allah protect every one of us from this types of scenario. Absolute Fraud. I booked an Umrah Package with them. The very next morning due to personal reasons I had to cancel it and told them to not charge me anything. The guy sent me some fictional charges for cancellation. I told him nobody charges anything for just the reservations but the guy went ahead and Charged my credit card $1000 without my permission and knowledge. I'll be escalating the complaint through TICO and my credit card company. Absolute Fraud!!!

I have been travelling with FJ travels for over 3 years now and I am impressed by their patience and outstanding customer service time and time again. Before posting a review, I tend to make myself read other reviews as I love learning about different opinions and provide any criticsm I can to certain businesses. A definition of a review is; a formal assessment or examination of something with the possibility or intention of instituting change if necessary. Looking at certain comments , like jawad chaudhry, I do not believe this definition was met with that specific review. Using derogatory words seems very childish when discussing past experiences with a company which sheds light on what type of customer this person must have been. Therefore, read reviews carefully everybody because I personally believe that how businesses are portrayed might be biased from the lens of a rude customer to begin with. Life is too short to be disrespectful and please from further on, if you are ever travelling have common sense to take responsibility for some part of the travel experience and check timings by simply accessing wifi or internet at any local coffee shop or hotspot areas which are provided in airports. Just some light humour to end off this review.

Worst travel agency I have ever been dealt with.... Very very rude customer service.. I might give 0 or - ve star if possible. Don't even deserve 1 star. Never use your cc with them. They will charge you unauthorized amounts of money other than quoted price. Unfortunately if you have to get a booking from them pay with cheque or e-transfer no credit card or cash. The most rudest person is Javed. Other dealing staff is ok. I would never recommend anyone to get booked by them, even if you have to pay a little extra money somewhere else.

In December 2017 we went for umrah and visit Pakistan trip was together. FJ travel and team did excellent arrangement from start to end. They provide us 5 stars hotel in Makkah and Madina in side haram sharif. They also provide us transport during the umrah. Transport was excellent and people were very professional. Bought a 3 star package for Umrah from Canada, we were given the worst hotels. In Medina my hotel was switched last minute giving us an inconvenience, and noone also came to pick us up from the airport as we were advised in Canada, we had to arrange our own taxi. The hotel in Makkah was horrible, hotel was cristal as aseel. There were people smoking outside our hotel room, with cockroaches, and other bugs, hotel was very disgusting. I would strongly recommend not to travel with FJ travel, as they care more about their profit than customer satisfaction even if it causes problems in their Umrah.

I do not recommend their service or agents. This travel agency lacks credibility, they are extremely unprofessional, the agents prefer bribes by over charging their prices beyond reasonable means. They will withhold your passport if you do not comply with the new charges, their method of business is to present you with a "total cost" of your vacation package and then after you've agreed to it, they provide you with a document in which you have without reason incurred hundreds of dollars worth of "new" charges labeled as "administrative". Furthermore this location takes your money and does not book your hotels for you although they claim the fees are part of the travel+hotel package. Please avoid business and save yourselves the headache. There are much better locations you can choose to conduct your business and make travel arrangements with....this is certainly one of the worst.

On our way back we were booked to visit Dubai flying Etihad via Abu Dhabi. Airline did not allow us to board the flight as we were advised that Resident Visa is required as visit visas are not being accepted. Prior to booking and even after the booking Agent did confirm with us re our travel plans to Dubai and they were advised that we will use our Canadian passport. No cause of concern was expressed by the agent as our shuttle was officially booked by Etihad. Etihad website is silent re the requirement and indicates that guests to Dubai can travel without strict regulations applied for Abu Dhabi. Upon calling the agent we were advised that we should have checked. This is ridiculous service by the agent and Etihad due to lack of clarity during the whole process. Probably an opportunity to rethink customer service strategy by both by outlining accurate communication with clarity. They should excercise the ability to inform customers in advance to avoid similar incidents for travelers.

Booked Umrah 3 Star Package with FJ Travels and Tours. Good Things: FJ Travel & Tour guys in Toronto were very good and responsive in arranging our visas. So giving "One Star". Travel arrangements were very good. Local agents in Makkah and Madinah were very good in arranging pickup and drop offs. Bad Things: 1. Cristal Al Aseel Hotel - Makkah, KSA - We were put in this so called "Three star hotel" with cockroaches and filth. Cockroaches in kitchen sink and wash room. People smoke in the elevators and in the hallways. They sit in the hallways smoking and talking all night. No regard for guests staying in other rooms. We stayed for seven days (7) and there was no room cleaning service. We had to empty trash bins every day. Beds were filthy and the bed sheets were not changed when we checked in. Had to ask them to change all the bed sheets. 2. Bahaa Alzahara Hotel - Medina, KSA - We were put in this so called "Three Star Hotel in Medina. Room carpet was full of filth. Seems like it was never cleaned in months. Beds were filthy and the bed sheets were not changed when we checked in. Had to ask them to change all the bed sheets. Tried to talk to Javed. He brushed off asking me to talk to hotel management. His response was "These issues are hotel management". Problem with talking to hotel management was that the rooms were not booked in our name. They were booked by local FJ Travels Agents in their name. So hotel management will not talk to us. Beware of booking a "Three Star Package" with these guys. It will be total rip off. We also got to talk to a family who booked "Five Star Package" and they also had same problems with dirty hotels).

Please save your money and don't book. Had a lot of issues in makkah and medina. They say they will take you for ziyarats but they dont stop at the spots long enough for you to explore. Unfortunately we were always rushed and dropped off at the wrong hotel, wrong terminal of the airport. Almost risked missing our flight. It was a minimum expectation for them to know the know abouts better than us. But it felt like they were more confused than us. It is unfortunate, that despite going for such a spiritual cause to this country, we were unable to fully enjoy the experience of the actual umrah and exploring the city. Please either look for another travel company or book umrah hotels and madina ziyarats yourselves. The hotels closest to AL haram: -Hilton- we stayed here, very happy with the service -Marriott -Hyatt All the above have a free shuttle 1_2 mins away Try to stay away from hotels inside clock tower, as they get really crowded for elevators and entrances and exits. Also they distract from your ibaadat Hotels close to madina: - movie en pick— warning there are 2 in madina this is where the driver from fj travels dropped us to the wrong one unloaded our 8 bags and left, while we were left with taking a taxi and spent 40riyald to be dropped to the right one. We stayed at moven Pick madina which was 5 min walk from masjid Nabi. Was okay service, alhumdulillah, we only used hotels for sleep really, so it didn't matter We also saw Oberoi hotel which was right outside the masjid Nabi gates. It's 5 star and looked nice Pullman zam zam madina is 5 star as well. And just as close as move en pick Both our hotels include breakfast InshaAllah you have a good trip to Saudi! Hafiz SANAULLAH service in mecca and medina is PERFECT and on-time! FJ TRAVEL.. they give what is promised but customer service (specially when flight is cancelled) could be better (ie. be more polite and not make the customers feel like they are asking for favors to FJ travels. It is FJ travel's responsibility to call the airline and find an alternative flight and on the same day (even if it takes half a day on the phone). Don't even get me started with the so called 3-Star Hotel..."cristal al aseel hotel" - bug infested... In future, I will not travel with FJ travels for many other reasons!

Unfortunately, I cannot ethically recommend FJ Travels. For a group that is organizing Hajj for the first time, they should have 1) been open to constructive feedback, 2) communicated promptly and politely, and 3) taken ownership and responsibility for the mistakes. I understand that many things are out of their control - i.e. the buses always being late, or the room key mess-up in the hotel. So I will not criticize these events because they were not to blame. However, there were many unfortunate situations within their control: 1) The itinerary was sent 3 days before the departure date - unacceptable. People had requested it several times since all the other Hajj groups had received it a few weeks in advance. The itinerary was riddled with mistakes and inaccuracies, had horrible English, and was confusing for people. When this was mentioned to Brother Hassouna and his son Brother Badr, they blamed it on someone else. As a professional business, you should be checking the work of your employees and not releasing anything that is obviously unprofessional. Blaming an employee for their work shows that they are not ready to accept responsibility. 2) When we arrived at the Movenpick hotel in Makkah, we discovered that they had rearranged my husband's group, removing the two non-Arab brothers and replacing them with two Arab brothers. When asked why they did that, they replied with, "We thought that the Arabs would want to room together." This was an extremely shocking and disappointing scenario and I can't help but think that there is some unconscious racism at play here. 3) The room for my women's group was not ready when we arrived at the Movenpick hotel in Makkah as there were men actually sleeping in it. This is in no way their fault. It was a mistake by the hotel. However, the way they dealt with it was inhospitable as they could have offered their own room, in the meantime. We had to complete Umrah right away after traveling this long distance with no rest. Once my husband and I finished Umrah, we expected that Brothers Hassouna or Badr would have sent us a message with an update on the room situation. However, we were the ones that had to reach out to them to get the information. This should have been a no-brainer as any professional business should follow up with their clients. Because of their lack of communication, 2 women from my group waited downstairs for 2 hours not knowing if the room was ready. And unfortunately, the hotel staff was unhelpful. Finally, when they got a hold of Brother Badr, he said, "Your room has been ready for a while now!" The question is, how were they supposed to have known this without him communicating with them? 4) In Madina, we were told that we would have a guided tour bus on Saturday. Unfortunately, they started looking for a bus to book a day before (on Friday). All the other groups had booked their buses well in advance (before even coming to Madina) so it was impossible to find a bus by then. Because of their ineffectiveness, they ended up booked the tour bus to be on Sunday morning at 7:30am, the same travel day back to Canada. This made it difficult for those who wanted to get some rest and actually quite a few people opted out of the tour. There were things that were positively memorable, alhamdolilah. For example, the sheikh's duaa during Arafat was exceptional. MashaAllah, Sheikh Ashraf always asked for feedback on how to improve. He understood that there is a human aspect when it comes to organizing these trips and he always took the time to speak with you as a human being. Unfortunately, the same could not be said about Brothers Hassouna and Badr. They have shown an unwillingness to receive any type of feedback. In some cases, they've resorted to impolite replies. It was as if they were doing us a favour by bringing us to Hajj, ignoring the fact that the package cost $13,500. I hope that they are able to reflect and finally take in the feedback in order to provide a better experience next year, inshaAllah.
