We raked up an enormous amount of great deals in 2018-2019 with the help of Myke Hannesson at the South Delta office that allured us to take four cruises (Middle East, South America, Greek Isles, Panama Canal) and a land tour to Turkey. We have another cruise booked to circumnavigate Australia next year. Myke is prompt in responding, thorough, calm, courteous, understands our priorities and very patient. She put up with many of my ignorant questions and enlightened me with her knowledge on how the cruise industry works. We travel in groups of six, eight or ten and she has been able to provide exactly the same impeccable service to each and every one of us with undivided attention. No stars - Our agent planned a short, one week vacation for us. We ended up on flights - both directions - with two stopovers which meant two full days just getting to and from our hotel. We weren’t allowed on our flights, huge over site from Lauren our specialist. She was un responsive when we needed her the most. We had to stay in a hotel another night at the airport so we couldn’t enjoy the next day bc the airport in Milan is an hour away from the city and 40€ more each way. Had to get new COVID test to fly through another country (that weren’t necessary on our original flight). We paid more for another flight the next day with 10 hour layover. Both of us missed work. Cost close to 3,000 in extra charges. All she said was that she was “sorry”. Sorry doesn’t it cut it. We spent hours looking for flights booking and re booking new ones through 3rd party companies. I racked up 4500.00 on my credit card in flights. Now I received 1273.00 back from delta in “credit” (which we now have to figure out how to burn with in the next year). New rapid COVID pcr test costing €300 on top of the 100.00 we already spent on tests. We only booked through her to navigate through the COVID issues or we would never use a travel agent ever! She failed us miserably. It’s day 2 of returning back to a destination I don’t want to go to as my business and home is in San Diego, not Vancouver where I am travelling too now. So I will now have to purchase a new flight from Vancouver too sandiego after I quarantine in Canada. This has been a horrible experience and I got in return was a “sorry” as well as her casting the blame on my girlfriend. I specified when we started that I wanted extra leg room and checked baggage, I got neither and to fly through countries that allow us(she assured us we would be fine flying from San diego and returning to San Diego. We also suspect she over charged us due too the fact we paid more then 2550.00 for the return flight only to get credited $1273.00 from delta. I can’t say how disappointed I am that a professional failed us miserably. Now that I dive deeper into the company, I found that they aren’t even accredited with the better business bureau. Sometime companies need to be held accountable and I intend to take them to court if they do not provide us with cash back.

We booked a cruise with expedia cruise center Dalhousie location last year. As part of the package we were told that we had a $50 USD shipboard cruise credit. We did our cruise, we had no credit on our account. Pretentious rude condescending management but I bet you she's all pleasant and sweet if I unloaded a large sum of money at her travel agency. I parked in the mall's parking lot for lunch at a restaurant next door to the cruise shop. I'm respectfully within my lines and lot 1/3 full... no vehicles parked either side of me. After lunch & walking to my car, I see this black Murano parked on the yellow line & I can barely squeeze between our cars. The restaurant GM asks all her patrons then walks to cruise shop next door, where the Murano owner is. For lack of a better description .. This aging white haired pretentious owner totally insists that she's within the yellow lines & that I parked stupidly beside her. She drives a black Murano (cheap piece of garbage) with her whole left side scraped front to back. I made her stand behind her car & acknowledge her whole car was sitting ON THE WHOLE LINE! All this time she's trying to patronize me & accuse me of poor parking.... I was parked before you got there, lady. Then she kept reversing out & in of the stall, stopped at her 3rd pass & informed me that I can now move my car. I replied that it's unsafe to even stand by the door because she keeps moving her car. Right, huh!? Then I informed her that I didn't appreciate the attitude towards me because she blocked me in.... Let's set the record straight...I drive a new Porsche Cayenne.. No scapes or dents, can see & use yellow lines properly, .. Not a the piece of junk like hers. Instances like this only demonstrates what a person's true & honest nature is like. I'm truly surprised at her pompous nastiness. No, I never even got a simple apology... only excuses & accusations. This is not how to represent your business.

No matter what parts of the world we are exploring. reason why not 5 *****! Expedia last year stopped having a relationship with "Aeroplan". I find that disappointing. For many years we were able to acquire "Expedia Cruise Certificates" from Aeroplan Points. Those points saved us $1000.00's of dollars towards are final costs. They now have Expedia Points which are restricted on what parts of the vacation you can use them on. And the points are "Cents" in comparison to Aeroplan. From my perspective who ever initiated the relationship to end. And not finding fault with either side. As a consumer Expedia needs to restore the partnership. Overall though. Expedia exhibits great customer service. And do their best in assisting you with your vacation plans.

It all started about 15 years ago when we along with another family booked a Caribbean Cruise at Christmas time with Randy. Due to bad weather we missed our connecting flight and were stuck over night at an U.S. airport on the busiest travel day of the year.. We were in constant contact with Randy exchanging phone calls well past mid-night. He kept us calm and helped our party ( 5 adults & 4 teenagers) get to our ship in time in spite of having to split up and take separate flights. He even arranged to have a car ready to drive our 4 teenage girls from Fort Myers across the state to Fort Lauderdale to catch up with us. You can't get that kind of service booking on line. Since then we have booked numerous cruises and several land tours to Africa, S.E. Asia and India with him. When things get overwhelming during the planning, she offers her recommendations which I love! She helped book and plan my honeymoon Mediterranean cruise 5 years ago! I wanted to mention one particular trip. She helped plan a big family cruise with 14 or 16 people (some from Canada, US and Austria). Unfortunately it so happened our cruise was during Hurricane Irma so it was cut short but we were left stranded on the ship and couldn’t come back to Miami for much longer than expected. When we finally came back to Miami after 12 days, there were no flights to Toronto for days and no hotels available. To our surprise, Sarah somehow got us on the very first flight back to Toronto! She was on the phone with Air Canada for hours and as soon as she got the update that they upgraded to a larger plane, she got us ALL seats back home. I can not even begin to explain how relieved and grateful we were. Sarah really took care of my family that trip and I will never forget it. She books all of my trips including the trips of my parents and extended family! Once the pandemic settles, we’ll definitely be booking again with Sarah! Thank you, Sarah! You’re the best!!!!
