You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is nearly the highest, and it's based on a high number of scores, so we may think that the assessment is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

I had an awesome experience with the boke tour of Montreal. Felix, our guide has a great personality, he was patient and explained the important city milestones in an engaging way. The bikes were very comfortable and the trip was organized well too. I would certainly recommend this company for people who want to know more about Montreal and discover it on a bike.
Had a great experience this past weekend on the 3 hour bike tour. Jeff was our tour guide and he couldn't have been more upbeat and informational, as well as very personable. We met the owner, and his dad, and they couldn't have been more welcoming! The riding was great, the sights were fantastic, and we met some other really nice folks from Australia and Atlanta in our group. We brought our own equipment and bikes, but their bikes looked great and well maintained. Great trip!
We had a lovely tour of the North part of the city. Our tour guide, Amelie, was fun and relaxed with lots of interesting information and insights into the culture of the neighborhoods of Montreal. This was the perfect way to see some of the city and get to know it a bit!
Great linus bike and service.
We did an all day bike rental and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly giving of their time, helping us map out a ride that would hit all the locations we wanted to see. After the ride, they also gave us pointers on stuff to do and places to eat. Next time we're back in Montreal we'll definitely rent from them!
I have done two bike tours with them and couldn't be happier. It's easy going for those who aren't used to biking in a big city but its not boring for those who are, and the tours include a lot of information about the city. My second tour was done with Catherine and she was awesome! Very interesting and informative. Great experience!
I haven't been to that many bike shops in Montreal, but the pleasure and privilege of bringing my bike in for a major overhaul/full treatment tune-up at Fitz & Follwell was all mine! I initially went there to purchase a helmet and get an estimate on the work I needed done on my bike. Nathan - unlike the owner of the last bike shop I went to - was really cool and did way more than just-skim-over-the-bike-'quick-quick'-give-the-guy-a-quote. He took the time to educate me - in a friendly, non-condescending way - about some of the problems my bike had; and that's when I knew that this is the shop I would bring my bike to. When I finally brought the bike in couple of weeks later, Kristoff took full ownership of my bike's situation and thoroughly assessed all that needed to be fixed and all the parts that needed to be replaced. He also provided me with all the different pricing alternatives for the new parts rather than telling me to just go with the most expensive ones even though I was planning on doing just that. Despite the amount of work that needed to be done on my bike, I was rather impressed with the turnaround time considering the fact they also needed to order a special part. Kristoff recognized me the second I walked into the shop to come pick up my bike and went over everything with me. As for the price, I was equally impressed. I have a good bike, and good bikes deserve the best parts and the best service. Good bike shops like Fitz & Follwell deserve the best reviews. Thanks guys!
Bike tour with style! Good place to fix a flat tire too.
Great Bikes!
If you go to Montreal, you MUST take this tour. It will make the rest of your vacation a success.
Whenever I visit a new city I book a bike tour. We chose Fitz and Folwell because the 3 hour North tour was not too long, but gave us enough time to get a good look around. We arrived late for the tour, but phoned ahead. The friendly staff said it wasn't a problem, and after fitting us out with bikes and helmets, escorted us up to join the group. Wonderful service. The bikes were comfortable, and the beauty of Montreal is the fantastic network of cycle paths, so we rarely ventured on to busy roads. When we did, it felt very safe. The North tour does not take in your typical tourist destinations which is what we found so charming about it. Instead we found ourselves venturing into the various neighborhoods of Montreal and therefore we really got to see the heart and soul of the city - An insight you woukd never get on a bus. We visited Parc Jeanne-mance, the beautiful area of Rue du Square Saint Louis with its amazing 'garden alleyways', Parc La-fontaine, Parc Sir Wilfried-laurier before passing through the super-trendy neighbourhoods of Milex and Mile End. Our tour guide, Catherine was knowledgeable and friendly, and on stopping at the Marché Jean-talon (where we bought punnets of local berries and cakes), she bought us some delicious crancherries, maple nuts and fresh apple juice. Total distance: 10 miles approx (at leisurely pace). Thoroughly recommended.
AMAZING! As a new Montrealer, the "Hidden Gems" tour was the perfect way to experience the city! Because: 1) admittedly, I thought the tour was too expensive at first but it paid for all the lattes, bagels, sandwiches, beer, and croissants that were purchased on the tour. Even without those items, a 4 hr tour at approx. $25 each hour was a steal for the experience we had! Like many on the tour, we thought it was the best $100 we've spent in a VERY LONG time. 2) it was the perfect blend of history, physical exercise, immersion into Montreal culture, and relaxation! We went to a cafe, picked up bagels, went to the Jean Talon market, picked up cheese, beer, sandwiches, and had a picnic in the park. How can you go wrong with culture, food, alcohol, and coffee? 3) our guide Martin was fantastic! He was friendly, easy going, and extremely knowledgeable. He catered to our every need. AND, a 4 hour ride turned into 6 because we were just chatting and enjoying the sites so much. 4) our group of 5 was the perfect size! 5) it was a rainy day but they offered handy rain ponchos for tour guests without a rain coat. But, my group had so much fun we didn't even care about the rain! I'm definitely taking another tour in the future, whether with out-of-town friends, or my husband. I'm looking forward to the snowshoeing tour next Winter!
My two adult sons and I went on a tour with Martin on August 20, 2021, it was excellent! Highly informative, fun and a terrific way to get an excellent overview of the City. We highly recommend this tour!!
(Translated) Good place to buy and rent bicycles, excellent service. Highly recommended (Original) Buen lugar para compra y renta de bicicletas, excelente atención. Muy recomendable.
Great place to rent bikes. Friendly service too.
We had the best time with Jeff the Guide this morning. He was very personable, knowledgeable and made sure to keep everyone safe! Despite the rain, Fitz and Folwell bikes were great and they even supplied rain capes if you forgot yours. Very positive experience and would recommend to anyone coming to Montreal.
I'm in town visiting from the United States and decided to take the city highlights bicycle tour. Best decision I've made so far on my trip. The tour guides (Catherine & Fion) were both amazing. They brought a friendly, positive vibe and were extremely knowledgable about the area and were able to easily answer any questions our group had. We stopped in a beautiful market for lunch, had some great pizza topped off with the beer of my choice which was more than enough to help power through the second part of the tour. All in all it took roughly 5 hours but I didn't want it to end. Back at the shop afterwards the good vibes continued. All of the staff were friendly and attentive (and gorgeous) and the bike selection was hip and plentiful. I would recommend the tour to anyone, vacationers and locals alike. And if you're looking to rent/purchase a bike I really don't think the staff will do you wrong. They are passionate about what they do and it's obvious to see that within just a moment when talking to them.
My friends and I did a bike tour with Martin as part of a bachelorette weekend and we had a blast! The entire crew at Fitz and Follwell were so welcoming and were happy to answer questions and concerns as they set up our bikes. Once we got on the tour Martin took us to several amazing sites and knew so many interesting tidbits. All 8 of us really enjoyed ourselves and agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip. Definitely give these guys a chance to wow you.
Very cool bikes. Excellent service!
We took the 5 hour bike tour, and I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Montreal. Our tour guide Jeff was knowledgable and a ton of fun. The tour gave us a great introduction to several neighborhoods, and a basic understanding of the historic, cultural, and geography of the city. Cycling is a wonderful way to get around Montreal. Also, the craft ice cream at the end was fantastic!
My wife and I were visiting from Alberta and absolutely loved the tour! Martin our guide knew so much about the city. We were impressed with his passion and knowledge of the history of Quebec and Montreal, including local restaurant knowledge which was a great help. A great guide and a tour well worth the price. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend. We did the Hoods and Hidden gems tour.

North bike tour was fun & friendly. Not a ton of info, but a nice sample of the area.
We did the Flavours of "The Main" tour and it was great to be tourists n our own city. Thanks JF for the tour
Great bikes and honest friendly service
Did a walking tour from Old Montreal to Mt. Royal. The tour was very casual and the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Although the weather was cold, the tour guide was able to adapt the route so that we were alternating between indoor and outdoor routes. He even stopped to buy us each a hot drink. Overall, an excellent experience on a first-time tour of Montreal.
My friends told me the highlight of their trip to Montreal was their bike tour at Fitz & Follwell. As a result, I had to sign up but I inadvertently made a reservation one month early because their website didn't work too well on my browser. They called me at work to ask where I was and when I told them I made that reservation by mistake, they said it was absolutely fine and rescheduled me. I also assumed all tours were bike tours but when I arrived, they told me I signed up for the walking tour. My coworker preferred to bike so they switched us over with no questions or additional charges. Our tour guide, Amalie, was absolutely wonderful. She was so knowledgeable, kind, and a great conversationalist. She even helped us plan our route to Mount Royal Chalet which was amazing. I wholeheartedly agree with my friends that this was the highlight of our trip and I definitely recommend this company to all! Ask for Amalie and you won't be disappointed!
My husband and I ordered the Montreal street art tour and we paid for it in advance. We recieved a mail and s.m.s with the meeting point- Le livart 3980 St. Denis Montreal. We were on time for the mural tour. My husband wrote an s.m.s. and somebody called us just to tell that the meeting point is not at the place where you wrote us twice!!!! that there is another meeting point. We are not from Canada so we will pay a lot for the phone call that we answered. Nobody was rhere. Inside a nice lady spoke with some body and we recieved an alternative meeting point. Prince Arthur St Urbain. We arrived there, waited for half an hour and nobody was there. We walked kilometers to find you and .you just were not there We waisted our time and our money.
This was a highlight of the trip. It gave us our bearings for the rest of the trip, was fun and interesting. Our guide Martin was excellent!
After attending a Yelp Elite event, I won a pair of tickets to any tour of my choosing at Fitz & Follwell. I opted for the long 5 hour bike tour that journeyed into Plateau Mont-Royal, McGill college, The Old Port and the Lachine canal. From the onset of booking my tour, it was a great experience! Tour started on time and they were very organized. The bike I was provided was of high quality and comfortable. Our Tour guides ensured we felt safe off we went to visit La Ville de Montreal with all its nooks and crannies. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. He made us feel very engaged in our shared activity. I loved biking up and down the Lachine canal as well as the dozen or so stops to talk about the history of the city as well as its important sites. We stopped at Marche Atwater for lunch and enjoyed a community picnic with local foods fresh from the farmer's market. The pizzas were good, the fruits were fresh and our bottled drinks hit the spot. On the way back we also stopped for gelato and it was a nice touch in this journey. We really loved this even and highly recommend it for those who visit the city as well as locals. We hope to do this one again albeit not one as long as 5 hours.... my legs were gumbo for a few days. :)
Great tour with Catherine! She was a great guide who knew so much history and details that made the Essentials tour really fun. The bikes are comfortable and the ride was easy with just enough up hill to enjoy. Baskets made carrying water n such convenient. I would like to try the neighborhoods tour. Thank you for a fun morning ????
Did the south montreal bike tour today and it was great! Tom was our guide and he was wonderful! Loves the city and knows a lot about it. Would recommend it to anyone .great way to see the city .
Amazing service. They do what they can to make you a happy customer. Prices are not the cheapest but they are good considering the quality of their products.
We did both the Montreal and Quebec City bike tours with this company. The Montreal tour was led by Katherine and although we endured a strong downpour at the start of the tour, all of us were provided ponchos which helped. We saw a lot of back alleys full of flowers, murals, and heard some excellent stories about Montreal. The highlights after the rain were the time we spent in the big farmers market and the visit to the Jewish bagel shop. In Quebec City, Diego and Nicola were our guides. Diego knows Quebec's history very very well. Because we were the only ones on the tour (Quebec is a new tour for this company), they adapted the route to ensure that we did not have to ascend many of the big hills in Quebec. He took us all over the different levels of the city, including the Plains of Abraham, the walled district, the government HQ, and even the main stage area for the FEQ concert which was later that evening. The bikes in both cities were strong, sturdy, and easy to operate. I highly recommend using this company.
Everyone at Fitz & Follwell Co. were kind, funny and very helpful. I booked the North & South Combo Bike Tour and had the best time exploring Montreal and learning about the history and culture of their beautiful city. I would definitely recommend their tours to anyone who's looking for an intimate and interesting tour of Montreal. I felt incredibly welcomed by everyone there and I got to see a part of Montreal I wouldn't have without them! Thank you!
This was the best Montreal experience we have ever had!!! Prior to arriving in Montreal, we had three bikes booked for five days, (one being a 24” children’s bike) and we ended keeping them the entire 20 days we were there! I know, we probably could have bought bikes for that, but we just kept extending it because it was so amazing!! Such a bike friendly city and the only way to get around! But not to mention quality bikes, lockes, baskets. etc.. Especially, thanks SO MUCH to Sonia for all her hard work and making it available/possible for us to keep the childs bike for the duration as well. They/she (Sonia) was also there as soon as we had a question, took care of us, and always with such a wonderful smile!!! Help with such things as locks, lights, and a basket. Can’t thank you enough for your amazing customer care AND for the wonderful family memories you helped provide!!! Thank you Sonia and everyone at Fitz and Follwell.
These are professionals who know their business and take it to heart. It shows. We took the foodie walking tour although we are from Montreal and have lived on the plateau for over 15 years. We chose the "north" tour that end at Marché Jean-Talon. Françoise ("Fran") was our guide and she really loves her city and the multicultural contributions to our food specialities - which the tour focuses on. Our group had unfortunate delays (beyond F&F's control) and Fran was able to change the culinary stops "on the fly" - which goes to show how F&F are professional and knowledgeable enough to improvise in case of unforeseen circumstances. The 2:30 pm start time for the tour is probably perfect - ours was exceptionally scheduled later and after 3 pm is not recommended (we didn't get to Wilensky's in time!). But *also* because they can manage unforeseen circumstances, they merit 5 stars.
Cheerful and helpful service, going beyond expectations. We appreciate learning the Montreal rules of the road and expected bicycling courtesies. The bikes are sturdy and easy to use. The basket is roomy. Helmets, lights, locks and map included with our 24 hour rental.
Great place to rent a bike, complete with a lock and helmet. The refund the deposit quickly. Enhance your trip to Montreal with their services. Staff was great. Their cafe was fantastic, have a quiche!
(Translated) They are very attentive. Some speak Spanish well. They gave tourist advice and gave us a chance to store our bags. The walking tour is entertaining and they take you to eat at places that like you should be looking for. Thanks for everything! (Original) Son muy atentos. Algunos hablan bien español. Fabulous tour with Jeff. Great way to see southern Montreal. Very personable service from all the employees. I highly recommend this tour. I am 67 and hadn't ridden for 2 years and only walked up one hill, so the biking is manageable but if you are planning to walk a lot, don't go in this tour, take the walking tour. Too bad about all the street closures in Montreal because of festivals and racing cars and construction..
We did the walking food tour, and it was good but overpriced, both in terms of the food and the information provided.
What a cool way to see the city. Had a great experience biking around the city and felt like I learned a lot too!
My husband and I took the Montreal City Tour and enjoyed ourselves throughly. Louis was our guide and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Andrea was the bike mechanic and she was also knowledgeable and kind. Both Louis and Andrea went out of their way to make sure the entire group was enjoying themselves! The bikes are extremely well maintained and therefore nice to ride. I highly recommend this tour!
Good bike shop. Recommended for renting Linus bikes!

Catherine was an excellent tour guide. She has so much knowledge and enthusiasm. I went with my two sons and husband and we always felt safe in traffic and on routes thanks to our guide. I highly recommend the tour and make sure you ask for Catherine - she was awesome!
Second time doing a tour with Fitz & Follow, also second time with Amelie. She did a great job again! Highly recommend doing this on one of your first days in Montreal, that way you'll know all the places you want to hit the rest of your trip.
A great way to get to know Montreal, and the tour began and ended at a fine coffee shop. With pastries. Enjoyed this a lot.
We had a fantastic tour met Martin! Montreal looked a bit chaotic in the beginning so the Essential Montreal Bike Tour (South Circuit) was perfect to understand and really feel the city! Don't miss this tour!

Great Bike Tour! Both tours, each about 3 hours cover so much manageable ground, and our guides were very knowledgeable! Recommend for any Montreal visitors.
If you want to go for quality in terms of bikes and tours - this is it. Personal service - staff went out of their way to accomodate us - our little kid was to small for the back of the cargo bike so the owner came in to attach a carrier to another bike. Personal bike - I take care of my personal bike, but the one I got as a rental was in mint condition. Personal tips - Although we had not booked a tour we got great tips where to go, based on our interests. Not "The 1000 greatest places in Montreal", but 3-4 perfectly curated tips. Even when we returned the bikes the owner took time to talk about where else we could go for the rest of our stay. P.S. Can be a bit tricky to find - go into the back of the Café, and if there is noone at the counter use the phone next to it.
Took the Old Montreal walking tour with tour guide Amelie. The tour was phenomenal. Over 3 hours (in unfortunately the wind and snow - but hey, it's Montreal!) we learned a number of great bits about the history and design of Montreal, its influences and the relationship between all the different cultures that call it home. I cannot recommend this tour enough and Amelie was excellent.
LET'S TALK ABOUT KAT. On my first full day in Montreal, my boyfriend and I were lucky to take Kat's North Neighborhoods tour. We left with a full list of things to do for the next 10 days and the biggest smiles on our faces. Worth the money!
Everything about my experience here was awesome.
We took the bike tour called "The Essentials," and it was fantastic. What a great tour! Our check-in experience was easy and friendly, and our tour guide Catherine was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable about the route we took and the sights we saw along the way. There are a few hills along the tour route, but the only steep one is at the very end. There are frequent stops to catch your breath and listen to your guide tell you about the area. The bicycles are "cruiser" style, with baskets on the front, very easy to ride, not too heavy, and with 9 gears. They are perfect for riding around Montreal. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
What an awesome experience! My friends and I took the South Tour and truly enjoyed the whole experience. It was our first time in Montreal and we felt as though we learnt so much in only 3 hours. Amélie was super cool and very knowledgable. Lift your butt up when riding on the cobble stone!
Renting bikes from Fitz and Follwell really made our trip to Montreal amazing. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. Excellent quality bikes, great price. Would rent bikes here again if I come back!
Coffee is nice on the terrace.
I loved my tours with Fitz and Follwell. I have gone on two tours of Montreal, and even though I have lived here for five years, I discovered a lot of new neighbourhoods and hidden gems. Even in the tour that covered my side of town! The guides -- Martin, Felix and Daniel were super friendly and fun. The rides were relaxed and super enjoyable.
We did a Montreal city tour with Felix this weekend. It was excellent. Felix shared lots of history and fun facts with us. He was very knowledgeable and fun to cycle with. Recommend everyone to do this tour.
My wife and I had had a bike tour of South Montreal with Fitz and Folwell and definitely a highlight of our trip to Montreal and Canada! Delightful experience and Amelie was a wonderful tour guide, taking us on a great journey through the city and combining this with a very informative history lesson of Montreal. This is a"must do" if you visit this charming city!
My husband and I signed up for the North and South Combo bike tour during our first full day in Montreal. We are both in our sixties — one at the bottom end, the other at the top. We were more than able to keep up with the pace of both tours. The meeting place has a fabulous bistro. We arrived early for coffee and pasties, and had sandwiches between the two tours. The food was excellent! The tours were a perfect way to get acclimated to the city. Martin was our guide. He was awesome — energetic, extremely knowledgeable, a native to the city, and passionate about history and the area. He couldn’t have been any better. The two tours are totally different and necessary to get an overall picture of the history, geography, culture, food, and diversity. As a result of the two tours, we were able to confidently venture out on our own for the remaining three days of our stay and understand where we were and the history behind it. Highly recommend the Combo Tours!
Had a flat tire on my bike while visiting Montreal. They fixed it quickly and for a fair price. When I suffered another flat on the same wheel about 90 mins later, they fixed it and only charged me for the inner tube....the didn't charge for labour. Really great service.
Excellent coffee and great service. Chill and friendly
Very well paced and informative tour. The weather was perfect and the bikes were comfortable and in great working condition. Our guide, Catherine, was friendly and knowledgeable. We toured the south side, but are considering going back for the North side tour.
We had originally booked a North Montreal bike tour, but the guide had fallen ill. Fitz & Follwell did arrange for us to do the South bike tour instead. We had an amazing time, our guide did his very best despite all the obstacles that happened that were beyond his control. We had to navigate through a very large protest, which was actually amazing to witness. As he was talking about the history of the Notre-Dame Basilica, fire truck sirens, a wedding and a busker playing the cello all seemed to start up at once and he did his best to continue. His Portuguese chicken recommendation for after was amazing. After doing this tour, we were confident to use the bikes lanes, rent BIXI bikes and tour around the next day. Thanks again for an amazing day.
Weather wasn't great on the 3 hour tour but I had a great time. Gabriel the guide was informative and fun. Thanks a lot for a great experience.
We had a blast touring Montreal with our Fitz and Follwell guide. Katrin was a wonderful guide, at every turn making things fun and interesting. This was the best way to get an authentic feel for life in Montreal. Thank you, Katrin. We will always remember this trip and the fun we had on your tour.
We did the North Montreal Hoods and Hidden Gems tour with Diego and Felix this past week. We had the most fun and informative tour with them and the tour lived up to its name! We felt safe on the roads with our 2 kids, aged 12 and 14, under their watchful eye.The bikes are very comfortable and we highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a tour that is unique and different from the rest!

My husband and I visited from the United States and started off our time in Montreal with the Highlights tour. Jeff was an awesome guide and made the 5-hour trip a blast. We brought our own bikes, but definitely didn't need to - the provided bikes were very nice. After the trip, Jeff gave us a map and helped us chart out some additional places to go see and the best way to bike there. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I went on the Montreal Highlights bike tour and had a wonderful time. Louis and Andrea were our tour guides and did a wonderful job showing us the city in a different way. I loved the food stops too. I felt like we had a mini food tour with our bike tour. We stopped at a great pizza place that served a non traditional pizza and also tried some local gelato. All in all it is a great way to see the city. It is especially nice if you can do it at the beginning of your visit to Montreal as they gave great ideas as to other places to see during your time in the city.
Fantastic experience, great guides and staff. Very friendly, considerate (it was 95 degrees both days!) and knowledgeable! Would highly recommend!! We did both the south tour (Thanks, Gabriel!) and the north tour (thanks, Tom!!) on two different days. Great way to see and learn about Montreal!

Had a blast! Totally outside my comfort zones but learned a lot and had a great time.
My wife and I did a private tour of north Montreal last night with Shay as our guide. What an excellent evening we had. Both a great tour and a super nice bike ride. Lots of great insights and recommendations; including off the beaten track areas. If you like tours this is a really good tour. If you also like biking you will like this even more. Communications were excellent, very well organized. Highly recommended.
Walked 35 mins to find closed - website said open...
The bike tour was great. Catherine was a real sunshine during the visit. The explainations were lively and clear. Perfect for anyone who wants to get to know Montreal. The bikes are in very good condition and Kate made sur we were safe on the road. We totally recommend this experience .
We did both north and south tours. Loved both. Guides were informative and fun. Bikes were easy to ride and shift. Best way ever to see City.
Leah is a great guide.
We did the North Tour with Martin in mid-October. What a wonderful experience! The bikes were well-maintained and Martin has a wealth of knowledge about his city. He bought us bagels and apple juice, gave us some time to explore the Jean Talon Market, and described the history and architecture of Montreal. We had a great time!
I highly recommend taking a tour with this company. The staff is very personable and it is a fun way to see the city.

A couple of friends and I rented bikes from Fitz & Follwell for a ride from Montreal to Quebec City this spring and couldn't have been happier with our experience. The touring bikes were high quality, still comfortable after a full days of riding, and had no mechanical issues throughout the trip. The folks at the shop were super helpful in providing route ideas and ensured we had the gear we needed for the trip. Next time I'm back in Montreal, I would love to take one of their city tours.
It was my first trip to Montreal and I highly recommend Fitz and Follwell for anyone who wants to explore the city. Our guides were very informative, helpful and friendly, and it was awesome to get the inside scoop on some local favourites. I did the north and south bike tours and the riding wasn't too strenuous, plus the routes we took were very easy to navigate with lots to see along the way.
Wonderful experience! Knowledgeable and conscientious guides (thank you Catherine and Sebastian!) and well-designed tour. Highly recommend!
Went in for a weld. Heard the guy on the phone confirm that it was going to be $40, clerk turned around and told me $60, when I got my bike back had to pay $85. He was so condescending, insinuating my bike was a piece of crap and I should just buy a new one from their store. If you're looking for a place that will sell you hipster bikes at hipster prices (read: jacked-up to the nth degree), this is your place. I would have gotten my weld at LMNO Cycles had they not been in the middle of renovations. There are loads of good co-op cycle shops (like Bikurious) that won't rip you off and will actually teach you how to fix your own bike; places like this just make me furious.
I didn't have a lot of time for sightseeing on my work trip, so this bike tour was perfect for seeing as much of Montreal as I could in a short period of time. It allowed me to check off a lot of sights I wanted to see, and prioritize places I wanted to check out some more. Plus you even get a little workout in! Amalie was a great guide! She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, plus she had a lot of good insight on places you might not typically see. I'd highly recommend this tour! I'll definitely do it again next time I'm in Montreal.
Awesome bike tour. Got a great overview of the city as well as some history. Martine was an excellent tour guide and very funny. He also gave us great suggestions of other things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend!
I highly, highly recommend Fitz & Follwell Co. for all things Montreal! My friend and planned a small getaway to Montreal, and included this company in over half of our trip. We participated in both, the walking tour of Old Montreal, and the North bike tour, and our expectations were far exceeded. Our tour guides for each event, Jeff and Martin, were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, personable and clearly very happy to be doing what they were doing. Both tours were three hours long, very reasonably priced, and full of memories and great facts that we will cherish for a lifetime. We truly couldn't have selected a better company to adventure with, and we can wait to come back for more!
(Translated) The service was perfect and you feel good in the shop space! (Original) Le service était parfait et on se sent bien dans l'espace de la boutique!
I am not one to be easily moved by good Customer service. Great Customer service, however, is so rare that it does deserve a mention. I have been to Fitz & Follwell Co. a few times and the service is consistently great AND authentic. They even figured that what I'd bought needed a modification for the bike I had at home, so they took the same model in the shop and did the necessary modifications. That's the type of initiative you want and appreciate in Customer service.
