I've been with Simcoe Diving since they opened in 2012. They are the best!!! I had never dived before and found them to be patient, safe and so knowledgeable. I'm now an advanced diver and plan to do my rescue diver course with them later in the year. If you're thinking about learning to dive these are the people you want to teach you! All the staff are excellent and very experienced.

Friendly service. Chris was an experienced diver with a lot of knowledge. I picked up a used UK wrist light HID 8 C cell or recharge for a good price. Going to use him for my next hydro and fill.

Got my open water PADI certification. Good, solid, thorough lessons. Newly updated Padi system gave me/them some online issues, but they sorted it out no worries. I feel confident as a new diver who understands limits. Other places aren't as thorough with knowledge and repetition as I am discovering. Picked up some gear too and it all works well after 4 dives. This is a good, safe, family friendly scuba shop if your lookin to get into it.

I think chris was trying to discourage me from getting back into scuba. In kitting out, he said I wouldn't need a wet suit. OK temperature but he took me over some sharp and unpleasant mussel laden debris. Oh yes, he was in a wet suit.The visibility to the Morrison was 4 feet at best. I saw mostly weeds and the already mentioned mussels. I plan to do only warm water diving in the Caribbean. Best thing I can say about this dive is that by the end I had regained my swimming balance.
